Don't Touch My Wife
Second SasuSaku fic. Because I just love them and I'll write them as loving as I can, this thought of a savage protective Sasuke wasn't leaving my mind until I wrote it down.
Disclaimer: I do not own Boruto/Naruto, Masahi Kishimoto does. I only own this one-shot and my OCS. Sake, Saori and Yusuke made their first appearance in "Night With Papa" my other story.
Sakura Uchiha sighed, checking the time it was past seven and again she couldn't make it home for dinner with her family. Currently at home, Sasuke was staying with Sarada, Sake, Saori and Yusuke so at least Sarada had help so she wasn't taking care of her siblings all alone, but Sakura wanted to be home with her family not really at a hospital, it was her job so she didn't have much of a choice.
"Mama again won't come home to have dinner with us." Sake said with a disappointed little face, Saori frowned and shook her head.
"The hospital is stealing Mama from us we gotta do something!"
"There is nothing that we can do, kids... your mother works hard to save people's lives. We'll have dinner with her another time." Sasuke knelt down to his two younger children and poked their foreheads at a time. "Now let's go eat, Sarada worked very hard with dinner."
Sake and Saori nodded slowly, still disappointed and sad about not having their mother over again. They walked over to the table, where Sarada had set it and had placed Yusuke on his highchair setting down a bowl of mashed potatoes in tomato sauce on the tray of the chair. Today dinner was riceballs and takoyaki and of course tomatoes for all the tomato lovers which where Sasuke and Yusuke. Sarada, Sake and Saori weren't that fond of tomatoes by any means.
"Cheer up, ninjabugs. After dinner we'll give Mom a call and see how she's doing." Sarada told her siblings and that was enough to get their sad looks off their faces.
"Good strategy, Sarada." Sasuke told his eldest daughter with a tiny smile before sitting down on his seat, ready to feed Yusuke like how he always did whenever he was around. His favorite hobby now, he was home more frequently as of now since the missions weren't long like the ones he had gotten in the past, so his younger children were close to him.
After feeding Yusuke and wiping away his little face, Sasuke nodded at Sarada to get the phone to call Sakura in the hospital which she did, Sake and Saori bouncing happily, Yusuke sitting on his father's lap and having the only arm his father had around him, the seventh-month-old baby looking over curiously.
"Hello, with Sakura Uchiha please?"
"Who's calling her?" Came a non to friendly voice from the other end of the line.
"Her daughter. I just need to talk to her." Sarada's expression hardened slightly, not liking the voice of this person. Sakura's boss.
"She's busy at the moment. Don't bother her, she doesn't need her brat to slow down her work." The boss spat. The call was on speaker, Sasuke scowled deeply. Nobody called his daughter a brat.
Sarada kept her cool. "Sir, I always speak to my mother at this time, please put her on." Sake and Saori looking worriedly, holding each other's hands listening.
"No! Now stop pestering at work hours!" He spat and hung up. Sarada grit her teeth, she may be 17 now but she couldn't take people yelling at her, she was trying to contain herself from having an outburst, and was abruptly taken out of her thoughts when Saori started to cry, Sake following suit.
"No, no, no. Don't cry." Sarada walked over to the two and hugged them both, picking them up in her arms.
"That was a mean mister, he yelled at Nee-chan and now Mama can't talk to us!" Saori sobbed, being rocked gently with her older brother by her sister.
"Sarada, take Yusuke. I'll handle it." Sasuke stood up holding Yusuke with just one arm and walking over to his kids, Sarada had placed down her crying younger siblings to take her confused and concerned baby brother as Sasuke knelt down and brought his kids closer gently, by use of that only arm he now had.
"Sake, Saori. Listen to Papa." The two children turning their tear-soaked little faces to their father. "Mama will come tomorrow if she can come home tonight, I promise. She wouldn't like knowing you two cried for her, so can you two smile for Mama?" Kind and soft was Sasuke's tone, completely different from that cold tone from the past when he was lost in darkness before he was brought back to the light outside the tunnel.
"O-okay, Papa." Sake started to smile, to show his little sister he was smiling since she followed him everywhere he went and his steps. Saori slowly started to smile as well as their father gently cleaned up their tears, smiling lightly at them.
"That's my big kids." He stood up and looked at the clock, only half an hour for the children's bedtime. "Come to the living room, we'll watch a movie until your bedtime." He guided the two to the living room, walking over to Sarada gently taking Yusuke from her so she could pick up the plates from the table and do them. Once in the living room, Saori turned on the TV since Sasuke was holding little baby Yusuke, they were going to watch The Ninja King.
Saori sat by her father's left while Sake by his right, Yusuke sucking on his pacifier, little dark eyes glued on the TV. Those thirty minutes were nice, they had a nice moment. Sasuke turned to look down at the children, they were asleep leaning against their sides. They already had their pajamas. A smile crossing the Uchiha's features, his two little ones looked like little angels. He looked at Yusuke who was ready to close his eyes too.
"I'll take Yusuke." Sarada walked over, taking her infant brother in her arms walking to the nursery. Sasuke, using his arm could hold his two sleeping kids no problem, he was Sasuke Uchiha after all, nothing was difficult or hard for him. He walked into their room, setting down Saori in her bed, leaning down and kissing her forehead, then putting Sake in bed, poking his forehead wishing them goodnight and exited their room, leaving the door half closed, then walked to Yusuke's nursery room. Sarada had put him in his pajamas, Sasuke sitting down on the rocking chair by the crib as the eldest Uchiha daughter gently placed him in their father's arm, his bottle given to him. Sasuke rocking slightly on the rocking chair watching his son eating to sleep, pressing a kiss to his lovely pink hair. Oh pink just like Sakura's, how much he missed his wife just like the children missed their mother.
"Goodnight, little tomato." Sasuke pulled the blanket over the baby and kissed his forehead before leaving his room. He walked out to his eldest's daughter's room, and found out that she was sad, maybe even holding back tears. He sighed and approached her.
"Sarada,"
Sarada slowly looked up at her father, tiny hints of tears stuck in her eyes, Sasuke sat down by her wrapping his arm around her shoulders.
"I know why you are upset. That man spoke so rudely to you, called you a brat and refused your mother to speak with us." He caressed her shoulders, holding Sarada tighter when she started crying. She rarely cried at least not in front of others or her siblings, but she felt like she was secure crying in front of her father.
"Why couldn't he just allow us a few seconds with Mom? Just a few seconds... we wouldn't have slowed her down..." She whispered with light sniffles.
"I'll speak with this man, to make him understand that you only wanted to ask about your mother not really interrupt her." Sasuke promised, his thumb brushing away his daughter's tears and pressing a kiss to her head. "I promise you, Sarada." That made Sarada smile slightly.
"Thank you, Pa-I mean Dad." She corrected herself, not wanting to sound childish with calling her father how she used to call him when younger. Sasuke chuckled a bit.
"Sarada, call me Papa. I like that better, don't try to act mature in front of me or your siblings. You will always be my little girl." He poked her forehead.
During the few next days, Sakura hadn't been able to come home to see her family. Once again disappointing the little ones. Sasuke was starting to get concerned, his wife was being overworked, her boss wasn't letting her off like how her schedule established her out and in hours. Until Sakura finally had had it, she threw some paperwork from her desk in her office.
"Work be darned, I will go to my family this instant!" She stood up and stomped her way to her boss' room, knocking vigorously on the door.
"Who's knocking like that?" Came the man's growling voice.
"Sakura Uchiha. I want a break, I have this right and I'm asking you, Mr. Kobayashi. You didn't let me speak with my family at all! I need to see them, my children and my husband!" Sakura ranted, clenching her fists and staring right into the taller man's eyes.
"Excuse me?" Kobayashi's gaze hardened. Slap. The next second, Sakura was thrown on the ground, holding her bright red cheek where she had been slapped, her green eyes widening in shock as her boss towered over her, yanking her up by her white hospital coat.
"Now listen here, Uchiha! You work in this damn hospital everyday to save lives, your family's fine you have your husband watching over your damn brats, they surely are fine! Either work you are fired!" He dropped the stunned woman to the ground hard. This was the last straw, she had to get out of this place and get away from this man. Not even letting him say another word, Sakura stood up from the ground, grabbing her purse and running away.
"Uchiha!"
Ignoring the man's screams for her, she ran out from the hospital, avoiding questions from her colleagues, she just needed to be with her family, to be in her husband's gentle touch hold her baby close to her, she didn't even notice the tears that had rolled down her cheeks.
"Did you like the walk to the park?" Sasuke asked Sake and Saori, while he held Yusuke and Sarada opened the door, holding open for them.
"Oh, it was surely fun Papa! I had fun showing you my Fireball Jutsu!" Sake responded very happily, walking inside. The family entered home and got comfy in their living room to chill.
There were knocks at an usual hour, no one really paid them a visit at this hour.
"I'll go answer the door." Sarada got up from her seat and walked over to the door. "Yes-Mom?!" There stood her mother, clutching her cheek, tears soaking her face. "B-but what happened?"
"M-Mama?!" Sake and Saori quickly sprung up and sprinted to their crying mother. Sakura fell on her knees and started to cry right there and then. Sasuke on alert walked over, handing the baby over to Sarada and kneeling down besides his distressed wife.
"Sakura," his tone is soft as he placed his hand on her shoulder. His eye that was visible narrowed. "Who slapped you? Was it your boss?" Sakura just clung to her husband and cried into his chest. Sasuke needed to talk to his wife without their children.
"Sake and Saori go with your sister while I talk with your mother." Sarada called them and took them to her room, while their father comforted their mother.
"Now, Sakura. Tell me what happened." He had helped her to sit on the couch still holding her close to his touch, he had never seen his wife like this, sure he had seen her cry before, but never like this.
"S-Sasuke-kun, that man... he's awful, he slapped me because I told him off for not letting me come see you and our kids, I-I can't keep going there any longer!" She sobbed. Sasuke's gaze darkened, his wife. No one touch his wife. He grit his teeth, his finger went under Sakura's chin and lifted it up so she was looking into his visible eye.
"Cherry Blossom, I will handle this. You rest assured that... that bastard will pay." He never really used foul language in front of the kids or Sakura, but when he was irate all sense of morality vanished. His hand cupped his wife's cheeks, being extra affectionated, which was rare, he wasn't over-the-top affectionated, but Sakura was his wife, his beloved and he was not going to just ignore her pain. A kiss was placed to where she was slapped, a low growl escaping Sasuke's throat.
"Sakura stay with the kids, hug them. I will be right back." He stood up and picked up his cape from the perch, putting it on. He kissed his wife's head one more time. "I promise, my Cherry Blossom that I will make this scoundrel pay."
Kobayashi was typing in his computer something, when his door was kicked open, catching him off guard.
"Who the hell-!" He was lifted up by the throat by Sasuke's only hand, his Sharingan and Rinnegan glowing furiously at him.
"So you're the scum who dared lay a hand to my wife?" His tone deadly and his words dripping in poison. "The pathetic good-for-nothing who refused her from talking to her family? You are about to find out what happens to those who mess with what is precious to me." The next second, the hospital personnel heard a loud pained screech coming from the boss' office, the sound of bones breaking and many other unpleasant sounds. Sounds of many slaps, and pleas for mercy.
"If you ever think for a second on touching my wife again, I will come for your head. Remember my words: Don't touch my wife." Sasuke threw him to the wall, knocking him out. Before calmly walking out of the office, he eyed the stunned nurses.
"You should tend to your boss, he had a nasty fall." He said simply before walking out of the hospital back to his Sakura(1).
He found her hugging the kids who spoke sweetly to her and filled her in their love, she was laughing now and enjoying the moment with her children. Sasuke's face grew soft at the scene before him.
"Sakura," He called and she turned to him, smiling lovingly at him. "I'm done teaching that filthy swine a lesson." Only for Sakura to listen to his foul language. He walked over to her and wrapped his arm around her, Sarada had wanted a family selfie and now that the complete family was there, it could be taken.
"Alright, say cheese!"
"Cheese!"
A new family portrait to be placed in the living room, the kids were talking about how they looked in the pictures as Sasuke and Sakura had each other's attention.
"Thank you, my darling. Thank you for standing up for me." Sakura lightly nuzzled his chest, Sasuke nodding with a tiny sincere smile to his wife.
"Anytime, Cherry Blossom. I will never let you get disrespected." When the children were out of sight, Sasuke then gave Sakura a sweet kiss in the lips, which only deepened and turned passionated. When they were all alone, they always turned this loving and affectionated.
