This story takes place After The Circus Bugs helped the ant colony defeat Hopper and his grasshopper gang , Molt joined the Circus events after the film !
Note : I'm basing this off the real life ! In the Wild Male Rhino Beetles will be searching for a female and when two males encounter each other they go into gladiator bugs to lift there opponents to win the female!
It was a beautiful day in The City ! All the bugs in the city were busy with there daily lives and Including The Circus Bugs, As Pt has just woken up his troupe for another Day of performing ! The Circus Bugs who were awake they greeted each other and exchanged hugs and kisses, Of course Dim was too shy to join the hugging and kissing being exchanged by the other Circus Bugs, but Rosie reassures Dim by petting Dim on his freckled horn and Dim shyly blushes red and smiles! Rosie replies!" Dim it's okay honey!" Our friends just want tell us Good morning Honey!" It's okay Honey!" Manny replied!" Good morning to you too Dim!" Gypsy replied!" Good morning dear!" As Slim, Heimilick , Molt and Francis nodded in Agreement! Tuck and Roll stacked up on top of each other like a totem pole , As They chant !" Upa !" Upa!" Hey!" While they give thumbs up! Dim Shyly blushed and replied!" Dim says good morning!" Rosie replies!" Thats just Dim's way of saying Good morning Honeys!" As The other Circus Bugs nodded in Agreement!! As Pt replies!" Hey you yahoos what are you doing out here get in here now some paying customers are arriving !" The Circus Bugs moaned and groaned! Pt replied!" Don't you give me that tone , Do it or your Fired!" The Circus Bugs gulped nervously and nodded their heads and went in! And moments later as The Circus Bugs we're getting ready to start there performance!
As Pt starts off the performance with and he replied," ladies and gentlemen I'm proudly to present Manto the magnificent and his lovely assistant Gypsy!" Pt gongs the gong , The fireflies shines the light on the spotlight on Manny, Manny and Gypsy were called up first to start off the performance act ! Manny replied!" From mysterious of an charted Asia ! I give you the Chinese cabinet of metamorphosis!" I call upon my assistant Gypsy!" Gypsy agreed and she puts a good size pebble! in the Chinese cabinet. While The remaining Circus Bugs were practicing for there acts ! Slim, Heimilick, Francis and Molt were practicing there clown acts and Molt was practicing his act as a strongsmen and juggling with Tuck and Roll! And Rosie and Dim were practicing in the backstage outside area and Rosie was using her whip and Dim was galloping in circle and When Dim saw his reflection in the mirror, Something unknown kicks in Dim's Rhino Beetle Instincts ( when Male Rhino Beetle's encounter each other it means they are going into season! Dim suddenly dilated his eyes on the mirror and Dim started growling and snarling at the reflection of himself in the mirror and Rosie noticed Dim, acting strangely! As if there was another Male Rhino Beetle in the area, Rosie comes over to try get Dim out of the Wild-like state ! Rosie replied!" Woa Dim honey easy Boy !" Rosie puts her hands over Dim to get Dim to calm down! As if Dim snapped out of his wild state temporarily, Dim Shyly looked around wondering what happened! Dim Shyly blushes red! Rosie replied!" Dim honey are you okay !" Dim shyly replied!" Dim don't know!" Dim went wild !" Rosie replied!" It's okay Dim!" At least you didn't get hurt Honey!" Dim shyly moans and Rosie reassured Dim by petting Dim on his freckled horn and kissing her adopted son Dim lovingly! Dim Shyly blushes and smiled!
Then moments later : Pt leaps over to Rosie and Dim, Pt replied!" Hey Rosie! Dim! Your up what's taking you two so long on stage now!" As if Rosie was about to tell Pt , Pt leaps back into the Circus Tent and Rosie replied!" Coming Pt ! Coming!" Come on Dim it's time for to our act honey!" Dim shyly moaned and Rosie reassured Dim and she replied!" Don't worry honey !" It will be okay Dim honey!" Dim Shyly but surely nodded in Agreement and Rosie and Dim surely went back into the tent ! As Pt replied!" Now presenting Rosie the mistress of the high wire faces off against Dim the ferocious beast !" Pt gongs the gong! Rosie has Dim focus on her throughout the duration of there act , Rosie lashes out her whip and Dim started growling and roars and begins advancing on Rosie, Rosie replied!" Back you horrible beast I have no fear!" Dim roared and Rosie lashed her whip and accidentally smacked Dim's foot , Dim reacts and Rosie replied! Oh my goodness!" Dim starts crying and Rosie goes over to him, The crowd starts booing at Rosie and Dim's act ! Rosie replied , Oh I'm sorry Dim!" Dim in tears while crying , " Owie Owie!" Rosie kisses Dim's owie ! Rosie in her gentle motherly tone replied!" Okay Dim it's okay!" Pt was not very pleased with Rosie and Dim's act!
Rosie helps Dim up ! Rosie replied!" I'm sorry Dim, I didn't mean to slap your foot!" Rosie puts a Bandage around Dim's foot where Rosie accidentally hit him and She kissed it smoothly with passion, Dim Shyly sniffed replied!" It's okay mom!" Dim Shyly nudged his adopted mother Rosie while purring, Rosie smiled and replied!" Aww Dim !" Your so cute!" Rosie was petting Dim on the freckled horn lovingly.

As the day progresses and it The Circus Bugs we're going out for lunch, And while they we're at the Bennet Bar having there water drinks ( water Dew Drops) Gypsy replied! We're sorry that Pt lashed out you earlier Rosie dear !" Heimlich frowned sadly replied! "Yiah!" Slim replied! Yah what's the point that flea the only thing he cared about is his money !" Francis in annoyance!" That ignorant Parasite!" Francis clenched his fists! Molt replied!" I agree Pt was never been that angry with You and Dim before has he even if he would it will be like my brother Hoppy!" Molt frowned and sighs! As the other Circus Bugs embrace Molt , As Slim replied!" We know how you feel Molt!" Heimlich replied! We have your back !" Tuck and Roll showing thumbs up !
Rosie replied!" No need to worry Molt honey!" I'm pretty sure you were better off not with Your brother!" Rosie embrace Molt ! Molt returned the embrace! Molt replied!" Thanks Guys Your the Best!" The Other Circus Bugs In unison replied! No problem Molt!" Dim shyly looks around while sipping his water and A rude bug bumped into Dim, by shoving him, Dim Shyly reacted and The rude bug replied!" Hey move out of the way you lousy Beetle!" The rude bug insults Dim! Dim got shy at first and Rosie reassures Dim and Her and the circus bugs come in to defend Dim, As Rosie and the other Circus Bugs gasped in shock , Rosie got annoyed and replied!"Excuse me sir , Don't you ever talk to Dim that way!" You here me!" Rosie's motherly instincts kicked in.
Francis scowled and he replied!" You got some nerve insulting Dim like that pal!" Heimlich replied!" Yiah! Slim, Molt and Tuck and Roll nodded in Agreement! Manny replied! How dare you!" You sir have no rite to do that to our dear friend Dim !" The rude bug meanly chuckled, The rude bug replied!" Ha Ha! And you call yourselves Circus Bugs!" The Circus Bugs gasped in shock and Francis replied!" Alright that's it !" Let me at them!" Slim grabbed Francis to hold him back! Manny replied!" How dare you!" Manny stepped up to the rude bug and slapped him in the face , Gypsy replied!" You have some nerve!" Hhmpth!" Rosie replied!" You need to leave right now, You hear me!" Rosie point her finger at the rude bug !" The rude bug snickers and shoved and pushed Rosie down! He purposely puts up a mirror at the Circus Bugs as if to humiliate them in front of the other bugs in the bar . Rosie went in oww! The other Circus Bugs gasped and Manny and Gypsy helped Rosie up and Dim shyly sees that his adopted mother Rosie got shoved down , Dim shyly whimpered and replied!" Mom!" and Dim looked at the rude bully bug, Dim started growling and snarled and started advancing on the rude bug for pushing his adopted mother Rosie down !
And when Dim saw mirror that the rude bug had up , Dim's Rhino Beetle instincts were kicking in again, Dim's eyes dilate at the mirror and Dim started growling and snarling and started charging at the rude bully bug and Dim used his horn to lift the bully bug into the air which he ended dropping the mirror on the ground and The bully bug got knocked out and Dim started to loose control and went off attacking at anything that show his reflection in the mirror! And The other Circus Bugs helped got Rosie up and Rosie saw that It was happening with Dim again, Rosie replied!" Uhoh Dim honey!" Slim replies!" Rosie what's going on with Dim!" Heimlich replied!" Yiah!" Manny was comforting Gypsy, Gypsy replies!" Oh Manny dear what's going on with Dim!" Manny replied!" Don't worry Gypsy my dear will get to the bottom of this!" Rosie in concern attempt to go after Dim, The other Circus Bugs had Rosie hold up maybe they can figure it out together, Rosie eventually agreed, Molt replied!" I never scene Dim behave like that !" What about you guys!" The other Circus Bugs nodded in agreement! Francis replies!" This is definitely new for me!" Never even Dim act like that before!" Rosie in concern but she's thinking and how she can help her adopted son Dim snap out of his Wild like state !
Manny replied! " It's up to me that Perhaps we can send a footage to our ant Friends Flik and Atta they maybe know what can do to help our dear friend Dim!" The other Circus Bugs agreed and they left out of the Bennet bar to go after Dim, Since Dim went off on a rampage! Something is setting off Dim to where he goes into a ferocious state ! Which anytime there's a mirror or if he sees his shadow he will growl at it! And will sometimes attack it too! And once Rosie and the other Circus Bugs got to where Dim is at, They noticed Dim doing something which totally has the Circus Bugs confused, They can see Dim growling and snarling at his own shadow which is shown on nearby wall, Dim attacks it but Problem is Dim doesn't realize that It was only his shadow and won't understand what is going on with him!
Rosie in concern replied !" Oh Dim my poor baby!" Molt thinks on it! Molt with his quick thinking he grabbed a book he recently got at the library, and he looks up some info about Rhinoceros Beetles! Molt scans threw the book and when he found of the descriptions that Dim is displaying, Molt replied!" Could it be that Dim is going into a phase!" Heimlich replies!" What's a phase!" Francis replied!" I'm confused!" Slim walks over to Molt to what he's looking at and Slim sees what he's talking about and Slim replied!" I think I can see what Molt is saying guys!" As The Other Circus Bugs gathered around to see what is saying in the book Molt is reading! Which in the book in mainly shows Two Male Rhino Beetles rivaling each other for a mate! Which shows ( When Two Male Rhino Beetle's see each other and when reach a certain peak in there cycle (maturity ) it means there in search for a female to mate with.) And after reading it This got The Circus Bugs wondering maybe could be the reason for Dim's Unusual Behavior!
Rosie in confusion and Also seeing Dim display another display which that Dim is making an usual sound which seems to be coming from Dim and Rosie catches on and sees Dim is creating that sound by rubbing his wings under his shell which sounds like Hissing as if Dim is displaying it somehow as to war off any other rival Male Rhino Beetles that could be in the area but The thing is Dim is the only male Rhino beetle around, Rosie replied! " So could that be the reason for Dim's Behavior!" Is Dim looking for female to mate with!" As Slim replied! It Seems to be so !" Francis replied!" There is one minor issue though!" Rosie replied!" What's that!" Heimlich replied!" Isn't that Dim is the only male rhino beetle around!"
Rosie replied!" Yes ! Dim is the only male Rhino beetle around!" Gypsy replied!" Not to mention that dears that are zero signs of any Other Rhinos Beetles male or female in sight!"
Manny replied! Well put Gypsy my dear!" Gypsy replied!" Thank you Manny Dear!" Manny replied!" Your Welcome Gypsy my dear!" As The mantis and moth couple smiled at each other! Molt replied! I got a question about this!" Francis replies!" What's that Molt!" Molt replied!" How are we going to handle the situation!"
Rosie replied!" For now let's just get Dim out of the ferocious state he's in right now before he hurts himself honeys!" I don't want to see my son Dim get hurt!" As The other Circus Bugs nodded in agreement! Rosie smiles and she goes to Dim and While Dim was growling and snarling at his shadow in a ferocious state, As Rosie smiled and she works her motherly magic! Rosie came up to Dim, She puts her hand out in front of Dims horn so she can calm down Dim! Rosie uses her webbing to put it around Dim's horn and Rosie replied!" Dim honey can you hear me it's mommy Dim , It's okay honey your safe now honey!" I'm here Dim!" Rosie started petting Dim on his freckled horn smoothly with passion and Dim surely and started coming out of his wildlife ferocious state and feels his adopted mother Rosie petting Dim on his freckled horn and Dim eyes soon went back to normal! While Dim was getting petted by his adopted mother Rosie! Dim Shyly was nudging His adopted mother Rosie lovingly while purring and The other Circus Bugs were so relieved that Rosie worked her Calming magic!
— later that nights——
As it got late , It was nighttime and The Circus Bugs went to bed in there partnering rooms and They bid each-other Goodnight by exchanging hugs and kisses and They all went to bed the last to go to bed were Rosie and Dim, Rosie replied!" Dim honey we noticed how you were displaying the unusual behavior! Dim Shyly blushes red with embarrassment, Dim shyly replied! Dim is sorry Mom!" Dim don't know what happened!" Rosie smiled and Rosie reassured Dim by petting his freckled horn and kissing Dim on his face, Dim Shyly blushes red and smiled ! Rosie replied! It's okay Dim honey! We actually figured out the reason for your unusual ferocious wild like state honey!" Dim Shyly replied!" Dim wants to know mom!" Rosie replied!" Okay Dim honey we realize that you are possibly going into a phase to where your in search of a female Like You Dim honey!" Dim Shyly blushes red with embarrassment and Rosie reassured Dim and Rosie replied!" Aww Dim honey it's nothing to feel ashamed of honey!" I'm here for you Dim , Me and the other Circus Bugs will help you in anyway we can Honey!" Dim Shyly blushes red and smiled! Dim Shyly replied!" Thank You Mom!" Rosie replied!" Your welcome Dim honey!" Want to see the book, Dim honey!" Dim Shyly nodded in agreement and While Rosie shows Dim the book who Letted burrow from Molt and so Rosie shows it to Dim , so Dim can understand it better!
Rosie replied! " See Dim it shows that Since your a male Rhino Beetle! It shows that when two male Rhino Beetle's reach maturity and encounter one another it means that they are in search of a female Rhino Beetle honey!"
Dim Shyly blushes red and smiled, Dim shyly replied!" Dim is in search of a female Rhino Beetle Mom!" Rosie smiles and she nodded yes in Agreement to Dim's Statement! Rosie replied!" We can take a picture of you and we can post it on a dating sight there should be a female rhino beetle somewhere for you Dim honey!" Dim got shy at the fact!! Dim Shyly blushes red and moaned! Rosie smiled and she reassured her adopted son Dim by petting Dim on his freckled horn and kissing Dim on his face and Dim shyly blushed red and smiled!
Rosie replied! It's okay Dim honey! We can take our time we can help you too honey!" I can train you too!" Dim Shyly blushes and smiled! Dim Shyly replied!" Dim likes that idea too Mom!" Dim shyly nuzzling while purring Rosie and Rosie smiled and Rosie petting Dim on his freckled horn and kissing Dim on his face and then Rosie cutely tickles Dim on top of Dim's back she tickles him with her fingers by rubbing her hands around on Dim's back , Rosie replied!" It's the ( Tickle Monster )Tickle Tickle !" Dim Shyly reacts and started feeling the ticklish sensation and Dim started giggling and choking a little bit! Dim Replied!" Mom that tickles, That tickles!" Dim starts playfully bucking like a horse !
Then as time progresses, Rosie and Dim fell fast asleep in there beds and Rosie sleeping soundly while rubbing Dim's foot and Dim sleeping soundly and was rubbing His adopted Mother Rosie's abdomen very smoothly with passion! As Rosie and Dim the mother and son duo fast asleep and then we show a bright moon shining on the horizon of the city !

Whew! I hope you liked this new idealistic a bugs life one shot fanfic story! I absolutely loved and enjoyed this so much! OMG !! Dim is going into a phase to where He could going into season, Which basically describing that Since Dim is a Male Rhino Beetle, and in the wild , When Male Rhino Beetles encounter each other act aggressively towards each other which it can only mean one thing ( In search and to win of to mate with A Female Rhino Beetle ,) Which that could be the reason why for the way Dim was behaving and randomly attaching mirrors or even his shadow any time Dim is near one or sees his own shadow! But Thankfully Rosie was able to calm Dim twice ! I loved how Rosie and the other Circus Bugs were getting some research on Dim's unusual behavior !! I love how cute Rosie and Dim are, Rosie was Tickling her adopted son Dim on his back , Dim was giggling because of his adopted mother Rosie was Tickling Him on his back!!
