VENOM - EMINEM

I'M SHY - YFU BABY

Chapter 3:

Z'eris and D'axon continue on running as he gets a notification that Limsa Lominsa is safe, they begin shouting at civillians and giving them direction to get on all airships and ferries available. However, all Gladiators, Puglists and Thaumaturges are ordered to stay behind to protect the city. In the distance D'axon witnesses Kurry's shop being destroyed from the wreckage of scared citizens freaking out and rampaging throughout her store. "Shit Z'eris stay here and tell citizens where to go. I'll be back". The young Miqo'te nods following his orders.

The Tank quickly runs in and barges into the shop seeing her crouching under her desk. He pushes aside citizens coming into the store making his way toward her. "Kurry!" Extending his arm towards her waiting for her to grab ahold of it. "D'axon!" as she takes ahold back of his hand feeling her body get pulled up and guided out of the store quickly in a fast manner. "What is going on D'axon?".

"Eastern Thanalan is under attack by the enemies and soon it could be U'ldah. All citizens have to leave, especially those whose classes are not originated from the city itself." He breathes heavy pulling her to the side of the street outside making sure the stampede doesn't get into their way. "You have to leave to Limsa Lominsa now, I will meet you there soon. Grab Poogie and leave but I have to stay and fight". Kurry begins tearing up scared of the news and nodding agreeing to what she must have to do. "But what about you, you will need a healer won't you?". D'axon sighs caressing holding her cheek and kissing her forehead. "I will be alright; we will meet again. I love you". He sighs pointing her to the direction as he runs off into the opposite direction of the stampede running against the buildings and climbing up onto to them, getting a better of view to see where the enemies could be coming from.

He finally finds Z'eris inviting him to climb onto the building as he looks up into the black and orange colored sky being lit up from the fires in the distance. "Reinforcements are coming soon, let's get ready to evade as well. We are going to enter battle, I'm so sorry for this". He sighs as in the corner of his eye he notices Z'eris standing in a calm posture yet full of worry and fear. "Hey we are going to be okay; I'm going to be by your side and we have plenty of Hi-potion to last to defeat a couple of them." The two start slowly walking to the direction climbing off and onto other houses in order to avoid the rampage.

"I'm scared D'axon, you heard others I can barely fight and now I'm entering an entire war, what am I going to do? I'm scared of dying and failing my job as a DPS". He cries out shivering in pure fear, stopping on top of a yellow house.

"Hey I am going to have your back the entire time, I just need you to stay behind me and fight the weaker ones. We have other Gladiators coming to join us but we will be okay." He grabs ahold of his shoulder reassuring him with that same touch as that very night, insisting that everything will be okay. "Are you sure? How can you be sure we will be, okay? Have you ever had a war dropped on you from the very beginning of your training?". He shakes his head with tears running down his face. "Yes, I have Z'eris and I was only 15 years old, I have been in this situation plenty of times before. I promise you we will get through this". D'axon pulls out a small white cloth wiping off his tears, the two began to walk once again towards their direction of death.

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend". Z'eris asks with curiosity, however internally he was upset to hear the news, wishing that he was single. He starts getting quiet waiting for the answer blushing a bit hoping the it was a no and she was just a friend. "Yeah, I do, she is heading towards safety at the moment. Her name is Kurry Cane". D'axon scans the area making sure no one snuck through U'ldah just yet as the two had reached the borders of Eastern Thanalan. Z'eris sighs understanding that making a move was something he should not do, that D'axon was just a friend and captain of his team.

After crossing the border and entering Thanalan, the two have come across enemies. D'axon ordering his partner to stand back and start attacking the weaker Lalafell enemies coming towards him from behind, both drawing their swords. The redheaded Miqo'te smirks licking his lips jumping into battle upholding his stance and immediately making all of them come towards him. "Hit them from behind Z'eris I got them from the front, these guys luckily for us aren't too hard to beat." D'axon starts decapitating watching their heads roll off and limbs detach from their body. Blood while flying everywhere as his eyes shot with a dark-blue color than his natural baby blue eyes. "Shit." Z'eris screams seeing a giant ogre stand before him ready to kill the DPS. Quickly the tank jumps towards the ogre chuckling as his swords draws from the top of his head splitting down the middle, a clean symmetrical cut was made. Z'eris's eyes widened in shock stepping back a bit while getting blood on him. All enemies around them have been slaughtered and the two were finally able to gain some peace between them again.

D'axon calms down returning back to his normal calm self, smiling at the short cat boy. "I'm sorry for that are you okay?'. The tanks sighs hoping he didn't scare him off too much. "What was that?". Z'eris asks in fear hoping that an answer this time would be given and one that he hopes will be something he likes. The two began their journey walking through the now quiet and peaceful desert

"It's a long story. When I started basic training, I was just as scared as you were. However, over time I gotten numb to the gore and subject of death. This was an advantage as with being numb I would be able to try different techniques that would enable be to kill the enemies in different ways. My teammates soon saw my new behavior and gave me the nickname of El Diablo as it was seen I would change appearance based on my rage; however, I was still myself". D'axon placed his hands on the back of his head, still trying to calm himself down from the excitement he received from those kills.

"That won't happen to me, will it?". Z'eris asks in fear. "No, it won't I promise, it's only a certain type of people who adopt this type of rage and by getting to know you, you are far from it". Z'eris sighs from relief, accepting that his answers this time were not anything of out his expectations.

"Would you like me to make you some dinner." Z'eris once again asks a question for the fourth time in a row.

"Yeah, sure but you don't have to. I can cook too". He innocently places his hand on his shoulders. D'axon was always the one to cook at home as Kurry's cooking skills were not so great. A couple of times she has overcooked fried rice and overboiled hot dogs.

"It would be my pleasure for you and all you have done for me." The chocolate-lilac haired DPS looks up at him with his bright green eyes and sweet smile with happiness for the first time since hours ago. "Alright I would greatly appreciate it then, I will set up the tents."

"Tents?" Z'eris asks D'axon with confusion, raising one of his eyebrows.

"What did you not bring yours?". D'axon asks looking down at him as Z'eris starts fire up to begin cooking for the two of them.

"No. I can sleep outside it's fine D'axon." He sighs as he begins to start grilling Marmot steak.

"We can sleep together it's fine y'know. Kind of reminds me of basic training." The baby blue-eyed Gladiator starts building the tent up and laying down blankets for the two of them. Z'eris blushes a deep red looking down at his steak not wanting to make eye contact realizing what D'axon just explained to him. Sure, to him it is like basic training but to Z'eris it is much more, he had a secret he was keeping from everyone, the secret of him being gay. Sleeping with D'axon in the same tent would be something new and he would have to make sure he leaves room far from the both of them.

"Alright". Z'eris finishes the steak serving it on plates for the both of them handing D'axon his portion.

"Thank you, this smells amazing Z'eris, this is one of the best smells I have smelled in a while." Z'eris blushes taking a sip of water from his canister he never though he would have to use in a long time. As the sky gets darker D'axon blows out the fire that Z'eris had made. In basic training he was taught to blow out the fire when it gets dark since it can tell enemies from the distance your camping location.

"It's getting late we should go to bed and wake up when the sun rises, we need to start heading towards the direction of war and get closer to the enemies base, hopefully the reinforcements will be here soon enough to be easier for the both of us". D'axon nods walking towards climbing inside the tent and into his blankets waiting for his partner to join him. Zeris accompanies him blushing a very dark red climbing into his side and pushing his body closest to the side of the tent, giving him the most space between him and his crush. Z'eris understands that D'axon might not be gay and introducing or presenting his sexuality might destroy the friendship between the two.

Kurry runs towards the airship climbing onto it right before take-off, she knew she had to get to shelter and help those around her. She started quickly healing the wounded citizens on the ship, getting them to a stable and healthy state of consciousness. She wondered about D'axon hoping that he was still alive out there somewhere and hoping to one day see him again, the sooner the better. The female Miqo'te climbed off the airship landing to the waterfront of the city, she began guiding citizens to houses that were willing to take refugees and care for them until U'dah is safe to habituate in once again.

She enters towards the city and starts making her way towards her apartment. Kurry had owned at least one housing property in each part of Eorzea just in case something like his would happen. She decided to invite a small family to refuge with her while the war is going on, wishing D'axon was with her to hold her close and tell her everything was going to be alright. However, she knew she had to be strong and could not let her emotions get to her during this tragic time. As she entered her bedroom telling the small family to make themselves at home in the living room, she closed her door behind her turning on the lights.

Immediately after entering the high-pitched noise came back to her ears as the same voice was telling her his name and warning her of the future. She them found herself standing in a blue tinted location, seeing nothing surround her but empty space. She started calling out the name she heard hoping it would reply back to her. Unfortunately, there was nothing but silence. Her eyes quickly jot open back to seeing her apartment and real whereabouts. The ringing subsided and there was just the sound of the family in the other room talking and Poogie's. She walked to her night stand and opened the top drawer which was filled of her sewing supplies along with a small journal and pen. There Kurry opened the journal and wrote down the name she had been hearing. G'raha Tia.
