Sept. 26, 1998
Mon, I tried to wake you before I snuck out, but you growled (?) at me. I'm not sure. It kind of scared me, but also kind of turned me on.
See you soon,
C
Oct. 31, 1998; a handmade card with a ghost drawn on the front, standing on her nightstand
Boo!
I'm really sorry about the Atlantic City disaster. When I thought we were done - it scared me (ok, no more Halloween references).
I promise I'll make it up to you - we'll sneak off to a cozy bed & breakfast upstate. No gross glasses, no stinky carpet, no TV. Just you & me.
So, does this mean you're my ghoulfriend? (ok, now I'm done).

Monica, I am so sorry we're in this mess. I miss you constantly. I hate sleeping without you next to me - apparently, I can't sleep without someone snoring next to me and stealing my blankets. I count down the days, hours, minutes until I see you again.
Love & miss you,
Chandler

June 2021, a card on her nightstand Congratulations, graduate!*
* 's mom! (Apparently they don't make cards for graduates' mom. I may have found a hole in the greeting card industry.)
We did it! We made it through terrible toddlers, moody teenagers, and everything in between! We taught TWO kids how to drive! At the same time!
In a couple months, we'll have an empty nest. As much as I'll miss the kids, I am so excited for this next chapter.
Love you!
