If you haven't watched Liza on Demand i recommend you watch it before reading this
Liza currently sat on the couch watching the news anchors talk about New Years 2020, upset that she might have ruined not only Oliver's but also Harlow's New Years just by letting her car get towed.
As the door opened Liza looked to see that it was Harlow in her black dress and her yellow high heels. "Am I too late for Hawaii New years?" Said Harlow while walking to Liza, "Hey, You're home early. How was the party?" Asked Liza trying her best not to look upset. "Eh, it was fine, I guess. But it was like any other night, right?" Said Harlow looking at Liza thoughtfully,"I mean i could kiss someone tomorrow and still have a great year" Harlow noticed Liza was thinking but knew she was still listening. "Mm" Liza said clearly in thought. "Or not kiss someone at all, How my year goes is really up to me" Harlow said happy that she has accepted it.
"Hey, where do you think Oliver is?" Said Liza trying to change the conversation from new years kisses to anything else. "Hmmm, i don't know, probably showing Shane what he's missing out on" Harlow said looking at the TV. "But enough about Oliver and more about you, what did you do the whole New Years? You weren't at the party, didn't you wanna hang out with me and Oliver?" Harlow said looking at Liza with curiosity and a hint of hurt in her voice.
"No! I mean yes-but no! Oh i don't know, i mean yeah i wanted to hang out with you and Oliver but then RLC saw me sitting on the sidewalk, then next moment we went to get my car at some dmv place since i didn't have a permit in my car, then she pretended to be a cop and we got my car back then she suddenly told me that she wanted to do something-which turns out was that she wanted to poop on someone's car and not have sexand then next moment the alarm went off-and i drove away leaving her there, i went to the party where you and Oliver were but decided to go back to the other party where i did the Miami back-up and i put the money in Robin's jar so that she could go see her mother in Georgia cause she was sick, then i just came back to the apartment to watch some TV and eat ice cream cause i totally ruined your and Oliver's New Years with my job" Liza said feeling the weight of everything finally get lifted off.
"Liza you didn't ruin our New Years, you just made it better, sure i didn't get my New Years kiss, but look what you did, you helped that Robin girl, you made everyone at that Boring party have a great time doing the Miami back-up and you helped that guy in your car get back home, your such a good person yet you don't realize it cause your focusing on what me and Oliver want instead of worrying about what you want" Harlow said, "Speaking of, i wanted to apologize for how rude me and Oliver were being to you, it was totally not your fault that your car got towed to wherever, as long as your okay" seeing that Liza was tearing up Harlow was quick to hug her, "Thanks Harlow, you don't have to apologize, i already forgave you, im sorry you couldn't get your New Years kiss, i know how much it meant to you" Liza said pulling away from the hug.
"You know i don't care about that as much as i care about you, i only wanted a New Years kiss to distract me from something that I've wanted to tell you, but i was too scared, but now i might as well get it over with" Harlow said with an almost scared voice. Liza being curious asked "What is it?" Harlow saw the cute yet curious expression Liza had, Harlow took a deep breath and finally said it. "Lizailikeyouionlywantedanewyearskisstodistractmefrommyfeelingsforyou" but apparently that wasn't enough since Liza had a unsure expression on her face, Harlow thinking she said something wrong kept quiet, "Harlow can you repeat that, you were talking a little to fast and i couldn't quite get that" oh, Harlow thought, that was why she had that expression, oh shit.
"Oh um okay this might come as a shock to you but, Liza i like you i only wanted a new years kiss to distract me from my feelings for you, there i said it! You can slap me now" Harlow said while closing her eyes as if expecting a slap, but instead Liza just hugged her, Harlow being confused asked "What-why are you hugging me?" Liza just shook her head "I'm hugging you cause i like you too dummy" Harlow just looked at her, eyes wide and mouth open, "Harlow you better close your mouth before you swallow a fly" said Liza.
"Huh, oh sorry" Harlow said unconsciously, "So uh, how long til the next new years?" Harlow asked Liza "hmm let's see...Japanese new years is in 4 minutes, why?" Liza asked Harlow, while looking at her phone, "oh you know, i just really need that new years kiss now and frankly i don't think i can wait that long" Harlow said with a seductive look on her face leaving Liza confused, Just as Liza was about to question her, Harlow dove forward pulling Liza into a very heated yet passionate kiss which Liza was not at all expecting, they were on the couch, Harlow on top of Liza unknown to them, someone was watching the whole exchange with excitement in his eyes, Just then the door opened and Oliver walked in, the first thing he noticed was none other than Don the landlord looking at the living room with excitement, being curious he decided to walk to the living room and as he walked in he saw something he kinda expected.
He saw two of his best friends making out on the bed, "Damn" Oliver unconsciously said cause both girls to look back at their friend...and landlord, Don was broken out of his little state by Liza and Harlow cursing at him and Harlow throwing her heels at him, Oliver in return hurried Don out of their apartment.
Once Don was out Oliver looked at Liza and Harlow who were both looking as red as Liza's sweater, "So, when did this happen?" Oliver asked unphased, "Aren't you shocked?" Liza asked "yeah i mean you just saw your best friends making out on the couch" Harlow said which made Liza turn a dark shade of red, Oliver looked at them and said "I'm hardly phased, I saw this coming from a mile away, i could practically feel the tension when we were in the ice cream truck we stole that one time we got drunk and Liza lost her phone".
"Heh yeah, that was pretty funny" Liza laughed remembering that time, "Now scooch, my legs are killing me...i did not mean for it to sound like that" Oliver said after seeing the looks he was getting from Liza and Harlow, "Now, how about you two just ask each other cause i can literally see and smell the tension in the room, also i need some more gays in this apartment"
Harlow was the first one to speak up after that,"Okay well...Liza would you wanna maybe be my girlfriend-i mean you don't have to, i know someone as perfect as you wouldn't want to date someone as messy as me" As Harlow said that Liza hugged her and immediately accepted, Harlow hugged back feeling super happy, "I would love to go out with you Harlow".
"Great, how about we go out on a date tomorrow? We can go to that one Sweetfin restaurant that you really like, right now i just wanna watch a movie" Harlow said. "Sounds great, but I'll pay, can't let you do everything" Liza said while snuggling into Harlow's side after pushing Oliver to the other side of the couch.
"Sounds great Hun, oh wait can i call you that or is it too soon?" asked Harlow, "It's fine, i kinda like it" Liza said smiling, "Ugh you guys are sickingly cute and i hate it" Oliver said. "Oh right almost forgot to ask, how'd it go with Shane? did he realize how much he fucked up?" Asked Harlow "Yeah i really wanna know" Said Liza. "Well i walked up to him in the VIP lounge with a cookie in my hand and while i was eating it he said 'Oh are you sure you need that cookie sweetie' like who is he to call me sweetie" Oliver said "Oh im sorry Oliver" Apologized Liza.
"It's okay Liza, after that motorcycle helmet and i had our New years kiss, so tonight wasn't too bad" Oliver said in relief, "wait...you mean motorcycle helmet as in the guy from cupcaken?" Liza asked "Yup, i didn't really expect him to be the partying type, but we did have a party in his room if you know what i mean" Oliver said with a smirk and wink.
"Ooookay, I'm heading to my room, I forgot to give Bark Paul some xannex, since he gets stressed when im not at home" Harlow said getting up, "Um Harlow i don't think you're supposed to give dogs Xanne-okay" Oliver stopped talking when Harlow went to her room ignoring him.
Just then Liza heard the Taskit notification sound, which means she has a task to do, "God who would want something at..." Liza paused to check the time "...2:35 in the morning, ugh whatever, it better not be another company asking me to spray something into little glass things filled with DNA causing me to sneeze and accidentally contaminating it causing someone to show up at our door telling me-a brown girl-that im part of their extremely white family" After finishing her little story, Liza checked who the Task was from and was confused seeing that it was from Harlow.
"What's wrong?" asked Oliver, "The Task, it's from Harlow" Replied Liza, "But she's in her room couldn't she just ask you in person" Oliver said confused, "Wait let me check what the Task is, it's says...'Come to my room and let's-" Liza stopped reading and stared at her phone for a while, "Are you gonna finish that sent-" Just as Oliver was talking Liza stood up and ran to Harlow's room leaving her unlocked phone to Oliver, "Talk later Oliver!" leaving Oliver with an idea of what Harlow Tasked Liza to do.
Picking up Liza's phone, Oliver took a look at what Harlow Tasked Liza to do, "Come to my room and let's play some monopoly-" Oliver read but laughed at the next part "-but everytime one of us lose, we take off a piece of clothing;)"
