Ever since the big reveal, Miyuki has been forcing Eijun on camera more frequently. Usually, for small bursts of time before Eijun makes a hasty retreat, face red and stumbling over his words. Mina has noticed that if Eijun gets distracted, he'll forget that he was even on camera. Then when awareness returns, Eijun goes stiff and his voice raises in pitch; almost like he forgets how to act like a normal person. Miyuki was always quick to call him out, which then leads to Eijun fleeing the scene with a few choice words directed Miyuki's way. All in all, Mina finds it to be incredibly enduring, and she suspects Miyuki does as well, and that was why he keeps looking for reasons to drag Eijun into the frame.

The majority of SteelTanuki's viewers were just as bad, as there were often making requests for Eijun to be on camera, even if it's just him sitting next to Miyuki while he plays a game. If people liked their bickering while only hearing Eijun, it has since exploded once they were given a taste of Eijun's visual reactions to the teasing. Eijun was expressive; hands flailing when he gets riled up, while his face gave away all of his emotions in rapid succession. When he laughed, it was with his full body, nearly sending him off his chair if it wasn't for Miyuki's quick reaction to wrap an arm around Eijun's shoulders to haul him upright once again.

It was safe to say Eijun has quickly grown to be a fan favorite.

Of course, unfortunately, Miyuki has since been getting a few loud groups of people that disapprove of their relationship, but his long-time fans are quick to shut them down. In fact, Mina left her very first comment in chat to defend them and express her support. She's unsure if they even saw the comment, but she didn't care; it was there and it helped to drown out the haters. Thankfully a lot of them got banned while the others gave up, at least on Twitch.

Really, Eijun and Miyuki don't act differently when on camera together. There are, however, moments that Mina can't help but 'squee' over. Growing more often are the lingering touches and small kisses to cheeks and foreheads. On rare occasions, a quick peck on the lips that never fails in making Eijun blush. Though Mina usually blushes along with him. While they keep their intimacy tame on camera, Mina can't help but feel her own standards in men rise with each soft moment she witnesses between them. At this rate, she's going to be single for quite some time, yet she's okay with that. If her future partner doesn't look at her the way Miyuki and Eijun look at each other, then she doesn't want it.

Another good thing that has cropped up in the community after the reveal, was the amount of fanart that people seem to be pumping out. A lot of it that Mina has seen was all cute and wholesome, however, she stumbled across one the other day that was very detailed and realistic, and very much so explicit.

She saved it to her laptop; seven folders deep. For research purposes, if anyone asks.

Mina has seen a lot more fanfiction under the SteelTanuki tag pop up, too. She has yet to muster up the courage to actually read any of them, but a common theme she has seen was 'soulmates', and she is most definitely curious. Currently, Mina is unsure if she's emotionally ready to dive that deep yet because she knows once she does, there's no going back.

Mina has adamantly cleared her entire schedule for today, refusing to hang out with friends under the pretense of visiting her grandmother. She sped through all her homework the night before so she wouldn't even have to worry about that, giving her the whole of Sunday to anticipate the stream, watch the stream, and then peruse social media for other people's thoughts on the stream as well as clips and gifs that fans put together.

Because the stream today was special.

Today, SteelTanuki was finally doing his three-year Twitch anniversary stream and allowed his subscribers to choose what he would do. Technically, the real anniversary was last month, but Miyuki had informed them that it may be a while before he did it as it would be tricky to set up, but today it was finally happening.

Mina sits in front of her laptop, drink, and snacks set aside. She was fresh from the bathroom so she had absolutely no reason to get up again. The stream was pulled up where a timer was counting down to when it'll start, and as she watches it tick down from thirty seconds, the butterflies in her stomach increased with her building excitement. When the countdown hits zero, the screen goes black for several more seconds.

Then abruptly, it changes again to Miyuki crouching in front of the camera that appears to be set low to the ground. He was wearing a dark blue, sleeveless compression shirt paired with swim trunks that reminds Mina of the yin and yang symbol; with one leg white, while the other was black. Except, instead of dots on either half, they were replaced with monochrome flamingos. The one on the 'yang' side was flipped upside down.

Most shockingly, though, was the lack of glasses perched on his nose, giving everyone an unobstructed view of his eyes for the first time. It quite literally took Mina's breath away. However, his position also puts a thick line of scar tissue over his left knee on display for all to see. Mina recalls Miyuki mentioning a knee injury, but seeing it was vastly different than only knowing about it. Even though it's clearly old now, it still looks like it must have been pretty painful. Mina herself has never incurred any serious injuries, so she couldn't sympathize.

"Can you see me?" Miyuki suddenly asks the camera, pausing as chat informs him that they can, "Good. Sorry about the audio though, it may sound different compared to usual, but there was only so much we could do. There may be some echo, though we tweaked the settings, so hopefully, the mic won't pick them up as much." Behind Miyuki, Mina can see he was in a very large area with concrete floors and tall walls covered by nearly floor-to-ceiling windows. Most importantly, though, was the inground hot tub directly behind his heels, and beyond that, was a long stretch of a pool; the area was empty except for Miyuki and most definitely Eijun, who has yet to make himself known.

Miyuki raises to a stand and steps into the hot tub, lowering himself so only his torso can be seen, "If you all picked hot tub stream specifically to see me shirtless, then you don't know me at all, and I hope you're all sorely disappointed."

While Mina wouldn't have minded seeing him shirtless, she wasn't mad about his choice of attire, either. If anything, the way the compression shirt outlined all of his muscles may have actually been worse. Because clearly, Miyuki was fit, and the shirt was teasing everyone in the way that they can see the muscles without actually being able to see the muscles.

"Would you move your phone?! It's stressing me out!" Eijun finally joins in from off-screen, voice echoing around the room. Only after Eijun points it out, does Mina realize that Miyuki's phone was dangerously close to the edge of the tub. Miyuki simply rolls his eyes but complies. Using a finger he pushes his phone a few inches away, making it only slightly at risk as it was still within splash zone.

"Better?"

"No."

Instead of replying, Miyuki lifts a hand out of the water to extend it in offer towards where Eijun's voice was coming from, "Aren't you coming in?"

"No."

"Then why are you in your swimsuit?"

"For later!"

"You may as well come in now."

"I'm not falling for your tricks this time, Miyuki Kazuya!" Miyuki lowers his hand back into the water with a smirk and a gleam in his eyes that tells Mina he hasn't given up; however, a donation saves Eijun for the time being.

"are you wearing contacts?! if yes, you should wear them more often, hot damn!"

Miyuki laughs, "I used to wear contacts a lot when I played baseball. It was easier than worrying about my glasses. After my injury, I didn't have a need to wear them, and the ones I had all dried up. I hadn't bothered to buy more. I still wear them frequently these days, but not nearly as often as I used to."

"Wait! I have pictures!" Eijun announces. The soft slap of feet on concrete indicate Eijun was approaching, and when a shadow falls over the camera, Mina knows he's directly above it. She can hear soft mumbles of annoyance as, she assumes, Eijun attempts to find said pictures. Miyuki reclines back in the hot tub and watches with a fond smile, "Ah-ha!"

Suddenly, Eijun's phone screen is lowered in front of the camera, slightly too close to see the full image, but what can be seen was clearly a younger Miyuki, decked out in uniform with sports goggles in place of his glasses. The picture appears to have been taken mid-game, and Mina would have given anything to see him play.

"I hope you didn't mess up the focus. This was a pain to set up."

"I –oh," The phone suddenly disappears, revealing the focus was indeed blurry. There was movement behind the camera, then the camera itself jostles slightly as Eijun fusses with the focus setting until Miyuki is once again clear. "There, fixed."

"how did you get injured?"

"Well, I'm sure most of you know by now that I played baseball in high school. Technically, I guess, I had been playing it all my life until the injury. But anyway, I always played catcher, and by my third year in high school, I was also captain and clean up." Miyuki pauses, his gaze momentarily flicking above the camera before he continues, "We were playing against a seeded team. It was an incredibly close game where we were constantly only one point ahead. We were on defense with someone on first and third. The batter hit deep, and by the time the ball was coming to home plate for an out, the third base runner was already nearly there. Long story short, there was an unfortunate collision, and I tore my ACL." Miyuki finishes with a nonchalant shrug.

Mina can't even begin to imagine how bad that must have been, both physically and emotionally. Miyuki has often mentioned that he would have been a pro by now, if not for that accident. She has seen the passion he still holds for the sport, even though he can never play it again.

"Why are you crying?"

"I'm not crying! No tears have fallen!"

"My mistake, why are you on the verge of crying then? It has been nearly ten years now."

"Not. And, well, those were dark times." Eijun trails off quietly. "It wasn't the same without you." Mina wasn't positive, but she thinks she heard Eijun's voice break slightly, and she now wants to cry for him; doesn't want to hear him sound that sad when it was so unlike him.

Miyuki had gone silent, gaze heavy in Eijun's direction as he once again, lifts his hand, "Eijun, come here," this time, his tone holds none of the jest he usually has, to instead replace it with something almost stern and serious. Unlike last time, Miyuki wasn't immediately rebutted as Eijun remains silent for nearly a full minute before he softly pads into the frame.

Eijun wore a white zip-up vest that appears to be made out of the same material as towels with orange and white trunks. He approaches Miyuki almost hesitantly, and as he gets closer, Miyuki stands in the center of the hot tub to make it easier for Eijun to grab his hand. Once he lays his fingers atop Miyuki's awaiting palm, Miyuki brings Eijun's hand up to his lips so he could kiss the back of his knuckles. Eijun squeaks quietly, face and ears turning red.

However, since Mina was so focused on Miyuki's lips, she immediately sees when his lips curve up in a playful smirk, and suddenly Eijun is pulled off his feet, going face-first into the hot tub. The resounding splash soaks the front of Miyuki who was dying with laughter., utterly unbothered.

Eijun shoots up spluttering, hair plastered to his face, "Kazuya! My phone was in my pocket!" Eijun punches Miyuki in the arm as that only makes him laugh more.

Mina finds herself laughing along as well, while also wondering, after the many years they have clearly been together, how Eijun continues to fall for that.
