Barbara Gordon: When you're young, you feel like you're unstoppable. Nothing can get to you but as you get older, you're starting to get a bit more considerate in your choices, reflecting on the choices you made in your earlier years. Heartbreaks and scars. Of course when you're facing your impeding doom, you get to do that sooner than later.
Batgirl had won most of her battles with the super criminals and lost some. She always knew that someday she would meet her fate if she's Batgirl or just plain old herself. She had many brushes with death but now she wondered if this was to be the one with the man that nearly ruined her life 6 years ago. Fate it seems was not without a sense of irony.
On a deadline, the first thing she did was contacting the Butler at Batcave. "Alfred, We have a problem. Joker's poisoned me. He may have poisoned Gotham's blood banks too. Freeze is the only one with a possible cure."
"What are you waiting for then? He is in Arkham City. Find him." Alfred said, emphasizing on the penultimate word in concern.
That was the easy part on knowing who to go to. The how was the tricky one due to Freeze's unique physiology. "It isn't that simple. His body temperature is way below the average degree of body heat so he needs to be at a location where it's sub zero temperature in order to survive." Batgirl reminded the ex SAS officer.
"I hate to point out the obvious but it is the middle of winter out there." Alfred deadpanned.
Batgirl's face was impassive at the smart remark. "Yeah, I figured. I'll calibrate the cowl to detect his heat signature. It'll lead me to the coldest point in Arkham City."
She pressed a few buttons on her gauntlet to readjust the scanner inside her cowl to pick up on Freeze's trail and left the Steel Mills in a big hurry. Time was for sure not on her side. The cold trail that would help her find the former Gothcorp scientist led her to an abandoned GCPD precinct as she hopped on one of the gargoyles at the precinct, surveying the area.
"The old GCPD building? Freeze must be in the old forensic labs." Batgirl thought. She headed to the back of the building and entered through the backdoor. The first thing she noted was how frigid the room temperature was in the Forensic Labs. She hid behind the doorway seeing four men with rifles, but there was no sign of freeze. Formulating a plan quickly in her head on how to take three out, leaving just one for interrogation, she used a remote hacking device to cut the lights off, startling Penguin's men.
"What the?"
Before they could have a chance to recover, Batgirl quickly and quietly took out three armed henchmen, by ramming one henchmen's head into a railing, knocking him out before moving on the second by tripping the second one's feet off the floor as she wrapped her strong arms around his throat in a choke hold for several seconds until he passed out from the lack of oxygen. The Third one was knocked out in a hurry by a swift punch to the temple. Then there was one left. She swept his leg and pressed her knee against his throat
"Where is Freeze?" Batgirl demanded.
The last remaining Henchmen gulped in fear. "He's being held in the Museum. Penguin's got'em."
His boss's voice came through the mobile two way radio that was on the floor. "I'll shall cut that tongue outta ya mouth, boy. I get pissed off at people tellin' tails on me."
"No, please, S-she made me tell her."
The Penguin's voice came through the speakers after Batgirl had knocked him out as soon as she got the information out of him. "He's all yours, Batgirl. I'm safe and sound in my museum. I have lots of surprises in store for you."
Ignoring the taunt, she kneeled down picking up the radio and took the SIM card, putting it into her hacking device. She was gonna use it to hack into the Penguin's radio frequency. Working her magic, she was now tuned into the frequency. But then she got a phone call from the homicidal jester. She answered it.
"Ring ring. Hello, Batgirl. I was hoping you could bring me update on my cure that the walking Ice Cube was working on." Joker's jovial voice came in her ear comms.
"There's been complications. Penguin has taken Freeze hostage." Batgirl replied.
Joker made a loud groan of disappointment. "Oh, what does that ickle bittey cockney want with Freeze?"
"That's what I intend to find out." Batgirl said. "By the way, how did you manage to convince
Freeze to make the cure for you?"
"Oh, nothing much. It wasn't hard to persuade the walking Ice Box."
Batgirl sighed, having somewhat an idea of how the exchange went down between the two. "You kidnapped his wife, didn't you?" She guessed.
"What?! I would never..." Joker was just pretending to be offended by her accusation. "Oh, alright, I did it but it was only to ensure his cooperation and you know how much he adores his wife." He cackled.
Batgirl rolled her eyes. She should have seen it coming but she didn't think it was possible for him to be more despicable in her eyes, obviously she was wrong.

Park Row
Medical Church.
Max took a moment to reflect once he and the other guards of the medical team had secured the church, making sure that no other surprises were there for them to discover. As he mentioned in the conversation he had with Batgirl, there wasn't much work for an ex cop who was accused of killing his own partner back at NYPD a decade ago, especially after the Asylum was shut down by the newly elected mayor Quincy Sharp. A month into his unemployment, he applied for a job as a member of the medical team. At least he won't have to worry about getting trophy wives that's getting their worth from their sugar daddy killed by a couple of gangbangers. He recalled a meeting with the Warden Hugo Strange before undergoing his training with his squad. To be honest, the warden made his skin crawl and his eyes reminded him too much of Vladimir Lem.
A knock on the front entrance was heard interrupting his thoughts. Picking up his rifle, he slowly walked up along with Officer North standing on each side of the entrance.
"Think it's the Jokers again?" North speculated. Max shook his head no.
"Nah, don't think so."
"Well, who could it be then?" North wondered. Max shrugged.
"Let's find out."
They opened the doors and saw a female ninja sporting a katana strapped to her back standing in front of them. "Ninjas?! in Arkham City?!" North exclaimed in shock.
Just as North was about to open fire, Max noticed a exit wound on near the bellybutton on her stomach that was almost the identical to the one he saw in the Morgue back at New York. It can't be.
"Mona?" Max breathed in shock causing North to lower his rifle in surprise.
Removing the mask, Mona Sax smirked at her old lover. "Hello, Max." She greeted, noting his bald head. "New haircut?"
Max thought that he was back on the booze when he saw Mona. Old memories from his days back at the NYPD came back to him, like an old wound that threatened to reopen.
"How are you alive? I saw you die."
Mona smiled at him. "In some parts of the world, there are people that believes death is an illusion."
-
New York City.
NYPD Morgue.
Mona Sax gasped loudly as she sat up from the cold tray. She was briefly confused for several minutes, her mind was rattled before it went clear. She was dead. Like dead dead and now she's not. But how? She was shot in the back by Lem before passing out in Max's arms several minutes after he'd killed Lem.
"I hoped that you are rested well, Ms. Sax."
She turned around to see a man dressed up like a knight from the medieval tales she'd read as a kid. She noted that he sported a goatee and has black/grey haircut. "Am I dead?" She inquired. her voice was rasp from not being used in several hours.
"Far from it." The man's Arabic accent was evident in his voice as he spoke. "Welcome to your new life. I am Ra's Al Ghul."
If the Night wasn't bad surreal enough, this had to be the moment where it was. "The Demon's Head? I thought you were only a legend, like the boogeyman." She mused.
Ra's was impressed with her knowledge of his existence. "I am quite real, my dear. I can assure you of that."
XXXX
Medical Church
North gave them some privacy realizing that the two had some history while muttering about damn ninjas and getting a new job after tonight. Max stared at her in disbelief after she explained her resurrection. Apparently this Ra's guy who was an semi immortal eco terrorist brought her back and enlisted her services for the past 10 years. He was more dangerous than Horne and Lem combined. Just when he thought his life couldn't get any crazier.
"Did you even try to find me?
"I couldn't if I wanted to." She admitted. And it was true, she didn't want to risk his life for her own selfish desires. Apparently, Ra's had been following her for some time and was widely impressed with her killcount. "Not when my new boss was watching my every step. But I've been keeping an close eye on you. Heard you took down an organ smuggling ring and a corrupt politician in Sao
Paulo. How the hell did that happen?"
Max sighed, recalling the events in South America with the Branco's. "It's a long story."
"I got time."

The Bowery
The Museum
Barbara Gordon: The Penguin has been controlling the Bowery for the last year since his incarceration inside the old Museum. The Tyger guards clocked it, months ago. But those on his payroll didn't give a shit.
She entered the museum and was hit with nostalgia. This is where she went on her first date with Jericho. She met him at GCPD headquarters six months after Joker's attack. He was asking the directions to her father's office and till they hit off almost immediately. Then he asked her for her phone number and the rest is history.
XXXX
"AHH!" Jericho screamed like a little girl as A robotic T-Rex roared into his face, its mouth inches away, highlighting how he was just a speck among the Dinosaurs during their time period.
That caused Barbara to laugh uncontrollably. "You should've... Seen your face!"
"Hey, that shit is fucking creepy! You can't say it wasn't!"
XXXX
Present.
The Gateway appeared in front of him, stopping her in her tracks. She tried to use her remote hacking device only to see the screen being completely static. She let out a dejected sigh, Penguin must be using military communication disrupters to block her device's signal to the Batcave. It wouldn't surprise her, Penguin had pretty deep pockets.
She contacted Batman through the comms to help her with that task. "Batman, do you read me?"
XXXX
The Bowery
Batman was standing on a top of a carriage where he had placed Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot who was brought in to Arkham City by Strange himself to kill anyone with any damaging information in there. After Batgirl left the Smelting chamber, Batman had to get Stacy Baker back to the Church through backdoor literary.
"I'm here, Batgirl. What's going on? I haven't heard from you in a hour."
"I'm inside the Museum. Penguin is using a military grade jammer to block the signal from my remote hacking controller. Can you locate it for me and shut it down?"
"Why?" Batman asked the reason for the request.
He'd heard a reluctant sigh. "Joker's poisoned me with his infected blood and has shipped it to every hospital in Gotham for some time."
"Damnit." Batman cursed under his breath. "I knew I should've gone with you back at the Steel Mill."
"Don't blame yourself, Batman." Batgirl reassured him. "Look, can we save the obligatory lecture for later and focus on the task at hand?"
Batman wanted to say no but hearing from her voice that she was already blaming herself was enough to step down.
"Is there a cure?"
"Supposedly. Freeze is making it. But Penguin has him and I can't hack into the panel to shut down the gate without the signal disruptor."
Batman was now in the loop and knew what he was going to do. Time was of the essence here. "I'll find it. Hang tight."
XXXX
The Museum
As Batman ended the conversation, Batgirl noticed a dark vein underneath the jawline from a reflection at a window. It was starting to show. The Titan disease was worse than she thought.
The eerie voice of Professor Strange came through the ear comms with a chilling message.
"Protocol 10 shall commence within 6 hours."
XXXX
10 minutes Later.
"Batgirl. It's done. I've destroyed all three communication disrupters."
Batgirl let out a breath she didn't know she had held. "Thanks."
"But unfortunately the situation is worse than I thought." Batman added, Batgirl didn't like the sound of that. "One of Penguin's men had mentioned that your father sent a Strike team as undercover inmates but their covers were blown. Penguin has them."
She groaned at the complicated situation it had become just now as she used the remote hacking device to disable the gate via the control panel. "Oh, Dad."
"Don't worry, Barbara. We'll find the missing cops. I'm heading to the museum, now."

GCPD
Jim was worried sick about his daughter as he was pacing back and forth inside his office. It took every ounce of will power to not drive to Arkham City and throttle the Warden or to the City Hall and give the Mayor a stern verbal beatdown. his phone rang, the Caller ID was a picture of his daughter so he hastily picked up the phone and answered the call.
"Barbara!!!"
"Dad."
Her voice brought waves of relief for him. "Oh thank God." Jim muttered, thanking Him for answering his prayers. "Are you hurt? Did Strange..."
"I'm fine." Barbara cut him off. "I'm hiding at a camp site outside the medical church at Park Row. I'm trying to steer clear of trouble. "
Jim swelled with pride at her survival tactics."That's my girl. Just hang tight, alright? Daddy's coming."
"I know. Love you, dad."
She hung up leaving the cop veteran a bit ease with himself. "Love you too, kiddo. Bullock!!!"
XXXX
The Museum.
She wanted to say more during the conversation with her father about her dying but she couldn't. She didn't wanna worry him more than he already was. Batgirl was staring at a captured ninja that was mediating inside a display. She spotted ink on her body and immediately recognized it as an insignia of Talia's Elite guard for the League of Assassins. If she's here, that means...Batgirl rolled her eyes in annoyance. Yet another night to worry about. A heartwarming family reunion.
The museum was a lack for a better term show case of some of the penguin's deep insecurities he had since his childhood. If he sees something he wanted, he'll take it.
"Batgirl." She turned around and saw Batman.
After the regroup, they walked further into the museum as they heard yelling and cheering while entering of what looked like a gladiator arena. There they saw a horde of Two Face's men on one side, joker's on the other, locked up like wild savages. A member of the Strike team staggered up at the front, holding a wound on his stomach and he was in not a good condition.
"Help me." He pleaded but before they could save him, he was shot in the back, and collapsed to the floor dead. The Killer was no other than Oswald Cobblepot aka the Penguin with his umbrella.
He cackled in delight as the two heroines brought out batarangs. "Ah, ah, ah, ah. Not so fast, you two. Sickle."
A monster of a man brandishing a sickle held another undercover cop with one hand. It forced the two to put the batarangs away. "So are you here for the cops, Freeze, or me?"
"Well, we were here for the three of them but now, we're taking you down too." Batgirl said threateningly.
"Oh, I am so scared." Penguin did a fake shiver to show that he wasn't frightened.
"You should be. I heard that Commission Gordon's daughter whipped your ass earlier tonight." Batgirl goaded.
Some of his men stifled laughters behind the cockney man. "Piss off." Penguin spat, irritated that she brought that up."That gobby little bitch got lucky, that's all. I'll deal with her once I find her again."
"Your reign ends tonight, Cobblepot." Batman growled.
"Really? You don't look so tough from where I stand, Batman." Penguin retorted. "Besides, you're just in time for my annual initiation party. Sic'em, lads!"
One of his men had a remote control in his hand, he pressed a button and the cages opened and the arena was flooded by some of the nastiest criminals Gotham has to offer as they surrounded two of the Batfamily.
Barbara Gordon: What Penguin fails to realize in that moment was that we were not trapped. It was the other way around.
"Shall we?" Batgirl said, glancing at her mentor.
"After you."
Batman threw the first punch and Batgirl threw the second.
XXXX
Penguin was pissed. These were supposed to be some of toughest costumers that Gotham had to offer and yet these two 'heroes' were making them look like second rate amateurs. Oh it doesn't bode well for his stellar reputation.
When Batman and Batgirl took out the last two of Joker's crew, they turned their attentions to the master manipulator.
"Right then. Plan B, it is." He aimed his umbrella at a chain link that held a container above the floor. He shot off the chain causing the container to come down and out burst a Titan enhanced brute. "You're makin' me to bring out the big guns."
Batgirl and Batman shared a subtle look of worry. Titan? How did he acquire it off Arkham Island? The Titan brute let out battle roar before charging at the two who rolled out of the way as the brute smashed his head against the fence, he was seeing stars briefly while Batgirl hopped on his back, Batman was landing a few punches, making him stagger. It allowed Batgirl to ram his head into the wall as Batman continued the assault. Penguin took the opportunity to the Gladiator arena and headed back to the Iceberg Lounge.
Once they had weakened the Titan brute enough for the finishing blow, Batgirl flipped over, bringing his head into the floor with a laudable thud, knocking him out. Batgirl took a moment to regain her breath before contacting Alfred.
"Alfred, the situation has gotten way too complicated. We found Penguin but he has a supply of the Titan Formula in Arkham City." Batgirl informed.
But the voice on the other line was not the former SAS officer but rather Batgirl's informant,
Prophet when he spoke. "What?!" he exclaimed in surprise. "How the hell did he get one from Arkham Island? What's going on here? I'm getting some unusual spikes from your suit's biometric analyzer."
"Perfect time to join in, Prophet. Alfred, give him a synopsis of what's happening in Arkham City." Batman said.
"Of course, sir." Alfred the ever dutiful butler complied to his master's request.
"Hold on." Prophet began to protest but Batman didn't give him a moment to do so.
"We'll be in touch."
XXXX
Torture Chamber
They followed the Penguin into the center of the museum and when they got there, their hands were pinned to the wall by Penguin with Freeze's Ice blaster from the other side.
"Stay where you are, you two. You would not believe the amount of fight the Snowman put up with. But it's totally worth the price." Penguin gloated as a officer tried to escape from the crime lord's grasp on but was unable to do so as Penguin froze his leg and then encased mostly his body in ice, leaving his head as the only part that was not frozen.
Penguin let out a sinister laugh, taking pleasure in other's misery. "Feel free to join me at the Iceberg lounge. That is if you want to get your arses kicked again."
Penguin laughed once again as he retreated back to the Lounge.
Batgirl grunted as she put her effort on breaking her hand free from the ice. She shook it trying to get some circulation back. "That doesn't look good."
"No." Batman replied. "As long as he has that ice gun, we're defenseless."
Batgirl's face turned grim as she activated her detective mode, readjusting it to thermal vision to find Freeze's foot prints. "I got a fix on Freeze. He's on the left side. Can you rescue the Strike Members?"
"Are you sure?" Batman asked, knowing that the last time they split up, it didn't go down too well.
"I'll be fine." Batgirl took out her line launcher and used it to get across the thawing ice. "I'll just be more cautious than usual."
Batman shook his head in slight bemusement. She's as stubborn as her father multiplied by two.
XXXX
War Room.
She was eating those words a few minutes later as she found herself being held up in the air by Sickle with his large hand around her throat inside a section called war room, where Freeze was inside a cabinet, stripped of his powerful exoskeleton suit.
The only thing that kept him alive was a capsule embedded into his chest that contained liquid nitrogen.
When she went to use her explosive gel on the wall to get to the backdoor when Sickle's large hand burst through the wall and clasped her by the throat. Prying his large hand with considerable effort, she freed herself from him gaining enough distance to recover.
"I will cut you into pieces, little girl." Sickle sneered in his Russian accent as he swung his large scythe towards Batgirl who leaped over his head, avoiding the contact. She launched a series of quick punches to the abomden but Mr Sickle just absorbed it and swung the sickle once more. It allowed her to pick up a propellant tank and threw it to him. It exploded on impact, making Sickle stumble a bit. She punched and kicked him multiple times while dodging the scythe before kicking the right knee out, leaving him in a vulnerable kneeling position.
She ran up his large back and brought her both fists down to the back of the head, knocking him out.
"The Bigger They are..."
She rubbed her throat slightly as she walked through the hole where the wall used to be and used her hacking device to hack into the terminal to open the gateway. After she did that, Freeze came out of the cabinet, out of breath after spending how long in that warm environment and fell to his knees, exhausted.
Batgirl rushed to his aid, helping him standing up on his own. "Easy, Viktor. Are you alright?" She asked him.
Freeze didn't care about his health. "Forget about me." Freeze snarled coldly as he was breathing heavily after being stuck in a heated environment for so long. "I want Cobblepot's head. He took away my suit. My weapons. I will end him for what he's done to me."
"Leave him to me." Batgirl replied "Focus on the cure or innocent lives will be lost."
Freeze sighed as he sat down on the floor and rested. "You don't understand, Batgirl. I must complete my work with my suit. All of my research is stored inside it. Everything depends on it. Everything."
From what Victor had said subtly, he can't finish the formula without the suit because the data was in it. Rather than brutally demanding it, she opted for a more refined approach. "Penguin is using your ice gun to protect himself. How do I get past it?" Batgirl inquired.
"Why should I tell you that?" Freeze asked her knowing there was more to it than just regaining his weapons back to him. He noted a small dark vein on her cheek underneath her cowl.
Batgirl coughed slightly into her clenched fist. "Because Joker isn't the only one who's dying." She admitted. "He infected me with his tainted blood to secure my help. If you don't tell me, I won't be able to secure the suit."
Freeze got a somewhat understanding. She did look a little pale when he first laid his eyes on her. "I see. But do not misinterpret this situation. We are not friends."
"I know that. But right now we need to be allies in this. You tell me how to disrupt your ice gun, I'll make sure that your wife is returned safely." She held her hand up to stop his unspoken threat a second later. "I know that the Joker has kidnapped her as leverage so please, spare me the usual threats."
Freeze let out a sigh, seeing that he had no other choice. Besides, if Batman was here, he would've torn the coolant out of his chest to get what he wanted. "There is a security override chip inside my suit. I installed it in case my weapons were used against me some time ago. "
Batgirl nodded in gratitude for that info. "Thank you, Victor. You focus on the cure, I'll get your suit back."
She walked away from the former Gothcorp employee as she immediately contacted The Dark Knight. "Batman. Have you found the missing Strike Team?"
"Yes, they're safe now."
"Good, I just figured how to stop Penguin."
XXXX
Iceberg Lounge.
Barbara Gordon: Hard to phantom my trip to the Museum would include a visit to the Iceberg Lounge. It's a casino/poker place for the criminal underworld to participate in. Naturally I'd feel an obligation to shut it down.
Penguin was humming a nameless song while holding the signature Ice gun at the middle of the lounge when Batgirl entered through the main door getting the attention of the crime lord.
"Well, Batgirl, have you finally grown a pair of balls to face me?"
Batgirl quickly ducked for cover as Penguin fired ice blasts.
"Stay Still, Batgirl!" He sneered.
He was being completely unaware of Batman stealthy walking up behind him. He'd better hope this plan works. He activated the chip disruptor he took from Freeze's suit inside the section where the missing cops were being held up, causing the Ice gun to overheat.
"What?! Oh come on, work, damn you!" Penguin exclaimed in frustration. It allowed the Caped Crusader to upper cut him, sending Penguin off the ramp to the lower levels.
"You're through, Cobblepot." Batman snarled.
The crime lord tried to plead to the Dark Knight for mercy. "Please, don't hurt me."
"Don't count on it."
Cobblepot suddenly pulled out a remote detonator from his coat pocket with an arrogant smirk. "Figured you'd say that." But suddenly the Detonator was knocked off his hand by a batarang from Batgirl. "Argh!" He yelped in surprise.
Batgirl shook her head like a disappointing mother scolding her child as she stood before him, landing a punch to Penguin's face, knocking him out.
XXXX
Freeze now wearing his suit after the missing Strike team had handed it back to him, was studying the League assassin at the main museum while the cops were rested when Batgirl came back with
Penguin in tow. Batman left, responding to an alleged news from Alfred about a potential cure that Lucius Fox had made. He was of course suspicious about it so he went to check it, leaving Batgirl with the Penguin.
"Freeze." Batgirl said to Freeze who was pleased to see the fallen crime lord.
"Well, well. Hello, Mr Free..." He didn't even get to start his taunt as Freeze stomped his foot down on Cobblepot's right hand, making him cry out in agony.
"Freeze! Enough." Batgirl warned a bit sternly sensing that he wasn't gonna let go. Begrudgingly, he took his foot off Cobblepot's broken hand and then picked him up with one hand around his throat pushing his back against the glass, weaking it considerably.
"You'll regret for what you've done, Mr. Cobblepot. I'll personally see to it." Mr Freeze vowed in a bone freezing voice. He then dragged Penguin by the floor and placed him inside a case that was made for Bruce Wayne.
"So, where's the cure?" Batgirl asked.
Freeze sighed solemnly."There isn't one."
Barbara Gordon: Just when I thought I was near the finishing line, a few miles was put between me and it.
Batgirl was floored by the surprising revelation. "What?"
"Allow me to explain." Freeze said as he typed in on his right gauntlet showing a holographic screen of the incomplete formula. "It was not difficult of creating an antidote to the disease that afflicts the clown's immune system. But the cure degenerates almost immediately. The missing ingredient in the formula is a restorative element, a reformative enzyme. Without it breaks down before it can help the host."
"I've heard about this." Batgirl muttered, trying to recall that bit of information in her mind.
"Finding a suitable enzyme is not the only problem. It needs to be adapted, bonded to human DNA.That will take decades: time it appears you do not have."
And then it hit her. There was only one man who can do that impossible task. "I think I know a man who can provide you that particular enzyme. He's been exposed to it for centuries."
"What man?" Freeze asked.
"He is Ra's Al Ghul." Batgirl told him.
The former GothCorp scientist was immediately intrigued by the possibility of completing the cure. "Yes. That should work. Bring me a sample of his blood. It is your only chance."
"There's only one problem. Rā's al Ghūl is dead." Batgirl replied. At least that's what Batman had told him after the last encounter with the Demon's head.
"Then you and the clown are doomed." Freeze said point blank.
Batgirl smirked. "I'm not dead yet. I just need someone to tell me where his body is. Then I can go wake him up."
As they were discussing the Demon's Head unwitting assistance, the assassin who had been listening to the conversation broke out of the case but dislocating her shoulder after ramming it multiple times into the glass in the process.
"Blasphemer. How dare your unworthy tongue speak of the great Ra's Al Ghul?" She spat, placing her shoulder back in place as she fled.
Batgirl tried to follow her but the assassin was too quick to catch up, so she opted to throw a tracking device that landed on her right shoulder with precision as the Assassin exited the Museum.
"Well, Batgirl. It appears that you've let your only hope escape." Freeze said condescendingly.
"Not quite, Viktor." Batgirl replied as she pressed a button on her gauntlet, showing a digital map of Arkham City where a blue dot was running in the direction. The blue dot was the Assassin.
"She indirectly confirmed that Ra's Al Ghul is in Arkham City, so now I have a trail right to him. "
