Alastor finds a small interest in the block party he passes by. Instead of being able to just listen to the music, he watches couple have a spat and break up in front of him. It slips his mind who the pretty blonde demon is when he approaches her for a dance. Little does he know, he's fallen for her thanks to that one night and tries looking for her for another night of dancing.

Then little Niffty shows him the fiasco the Princess of Hell had on TV. Without another word, he makes his way to her hotel…. Not to help her run it…. no, but to be a client so he could weasel his way into her arms for a dance (or a few) so his afterlife isn't so boring.

The only problem is….

She was drunk so she doesn't remember him AND acts as if she's never heard of the Radio Demon.

Looks like he's staying a lot longer than he intended!

Quite a few months ago I had went out on an evening stroll as one does. I hadn't planned to do anything in particular, but I loved it when the hellish sun dropped and almost pure darkness took over! Ah- the sweet thrill of walking through the darkness with my glowing blood red eyes. The scares it produces is just hilarious!

Anyways….

I had stumbled upon a party. I have no idea why there was a party in the middle of the street but I had learned they were called, 'block parties'. Interesting enough I suppose. I had planned to walk on by until I heard some music I never heard but it sound quite nice. I stopped to take a long look. The band was playing on a electric guitar, drums and oddly enough- a piano on the side.

It seemed random people were walking onto the stage and singing with the band playing the tune. Quite interesting after all, so I hid in the shadows and listened. Some of it was fairly new or made after my time of death but I can appericate new things once in a while especially if the beat itself is good.

I had become so absorbed in the sounds I barely heard a lovers' quarrel on the side of me. It didn't bother me one bit until they came into my line of view, blocking my sight from the band and the many singers coming onto the stage.

"Charlie, you aren't going to find any sinners at a party like this that want to redeem themselves!"

Some odd looking gray skinned woman with white hair. Her pink bow looked quite pointy and they seemed to extend more when she talked.

"This isn't a rowdy crowd, Vaggie! Look at all of them! I'm sure someone in here some where in here would love nothing more to try and make it to Heaven!"

I arched an eyebrow.

Make it to Heaven? What ridiculous nonsense! I almost started laughing but the look on the blonde apparently named 'Charlie' was something else….. Hmmmm…. Her sclera became bright red with anger and her pupils blew out making her eyes black as the night. My, my…. someone had a temper.

"The only one we have is Angel Dust and he's wasting our time! I told you that!"

"Leave Angel alone! I told you things take time and he needs some time! Valentino is a big jerk and we need to deal with him to make sure Angel can get some real help-

"You couldn't fight an overlord if you wanted too Charlie! You aren't even the violent type and they would laugh you out of his club! You and I both know that!"

"What does that even mean?!" she snapped back, horns were now emerging from her pretty, sun like hair.

"You can't harm a fly! That's what I mean!"

"Ugh!"

"You get on my nerves Charlie! You don't see the whole picture-

"Oh I don't? All you do is look at the damn surface! You never give anyone a chance and that's why we don't have anyone showing up! You turned away thirty sinners already!"

"Because they would take advantage-

"How do you know that, huh? They didn't even have the chance to walk in and talk! You turned them away not giving a damn! They need chances to open up and get to the root of the problem!"

"You just don't get it-

"You're right I don't!" this Charlie shrieked, her arms at her sides and she was visibly shaking now.

Oh boy! What a show! I almost couldn't hold in my laughter! HA!

"Charlie- you know what…. I'm done. We're done! You can't do anything yourself-

"Excuse me?"

Her voice- that sweet gentle child like voice of hers turned demonic and ragged quite quickly at that statement. I just love despair and this was hilarious. That little blonde demon looked like she couldn't hurt a fly at all. How was she in Hell anyways?

"No I mean-

This 'Vaggie' put her hands up to soothe the other demoness' temper and probably to defend herself.

"If you don't believe in my cause then why do you even hang around? What is it Vaggie? Because it seems like the only person taking advantage of me if you. At least Angel was up front about his feelings but you can't even do that! I'm glad though to know what you think of me! If you still wanna help in my cause that's fine but pick another room in the hotel."

"Fine!"

This Vaggie stomped off and Charlie sighed while rubbing her temples. Her horn recceeded and she disappeared into the crowd.

Well, that was something after all.

I stayed in the shadows, enjoying the show a bit longer- it wasn't like I had much else to do anyways.

Sometime later, I saw this angry Charlie again and she punched a sinner demon for touching her bottom. My! Wasn't she just a wild card?! She was just the most thrilling here at this party, wasn't she? I snickered as the demon was knocked out cold. Someone eventually came by and dragged his pathetic body off to the side.

This Charlie was gone again but now I had to find her. I wasn't sure what I was going to say but I had to say something. The pain, anger and downright annoyance thrilled me to the core! It was all more the shocking it came from someone with such doll face. What a combination!

I searched the crowd for this lovely woman. It didn't take much time since a lot of sinners didn't have that kind of hair. It looked angelic honestly.

There she was, leaning against the table with a spiked drink in her hand but she didn't seem into drinking it. She looked… lonely? I suppose that's what lonely would look like. Upon a closer look at her, she was wearing a black top with very thin straps and a long flowly skirt to match. It made her poreclain skin look more white than it was. She looked more dead than the sinners around her.

I wondered how long it would take before she noticed me staring at her? She looked absolutely bored out of her pretty little head… so much it looked like a crime.

I decided, why not? I walked up to her and her eyes were much more different this time. The sclera was yellow now and her pupils were red. I suppose when she wasn't so angry, she looked more innocent!

How innocent was she exactly?

"Can I help you?" she asked looking at me with a blank face.

My, my! Did she not know who I was? I had barely noticed people had cleared the area around me since I was so busy staring at her. Good for them for being smart enough to back off. I wanted this young lady to myself.

"Yes dear- you can help me! Would you love to dance?" I asked with my hands behind my back, the biggest and friendliest smile I could muster on my face.

Smiling in a friendly manner was not something I did but it was worth a shot. It seemed to work since she gave me a small, shy smile.

"They're not really playing anything worth dancing too."

"Fair point since I agree! Why don't you go request something?" I asked, rocking back on my heels.

Charlie arched an eyebrow at me. The corners of her black lips twitched a little.

"You'll dance to whatever I pick?"

"Yes!" I answered quickly for my own liking but the word already left my mouth.

She looked down at her cup for a few seconds then nodded.

"Alright. Be right back."

My lord- at the time I didn't even notice who this Charlie demon was. I suppose it had slipped my mind at the time. I was more interested in that fiery temper. Perhaps I could rile her up and see what happens! I would love a great show of power!

I had barely paid any attention because I was so deep in thought when the band members had changed and so did the music. Charlie came back with her hand out to me waiting for me to take it.

"Can you tango, demon sir?" she asked with a wicked grin on her face.

"My word! Are you challengeing me?" I asked feeling amused.

I hadn't expected this!

"Maybe."

I grabbed her hand and jerked her into my arms. She slammed into my body but she didn't seem bother by it- in fact, she grinned more, her eyes sparkling with delight! Oh my, I might have more fun with this than I thought! What an interesting lady she was!

Charlie allowed me to take the lead. The look of shock on her face was quite clear. I knew I was smiling smugly at her atonishment. I had realized she didn't think I knew what I was doing and I was half dragging her body but then she started dancing much faster once she caught I knew how to tango after all. She never stepped on my feet, look flustered or even mind the close proxmity of me with our noses touching.

She was simply a seasoned dancer!

One of the best I might add!

I dipped her back and whirled her around as much as I pleased. I slipped her down between my legs, bringing her back up but she kept her balance and every step without stumbling. I was simply blown away by this chance encounter! Not too many people could dance that fast and that much.

I could feel my dead heart pounding from the effort. It seemed I wasn't the only one affected by this quick dance….

Once I slammed her against my chest for the end of the song, I could feel her heart pounding against me. She looked up at me with red eyes sparkling with so much wonder and delight I hadn't seen on anyone's face…. well while they were that close to me and alive anyways!
HA!

Our breathing slowed down some and Charlie looked at me with an elated smile. What a wonderful smile! She bared her fangs and all!

"Would you like to have another dance?" she asked sounding hopeful.

How could I so no to that?!

"Only if it's with you my dear."

She smirked and pulled away, disappearing into the crowd once again. I waited rather impatiently when a song came on I hadn't heard before. Charlie came back much more quickly this time and looking more excited than the last time.

"Can you swing dance Mr. Sinner?" she asked, her voice full of challenge.

Oh I liked her. She wasn't afraid. I may have to stay until this shindig was over!

"I was alive when the swing dance was popular my dear. Come here and I'll show you just how good I am!" I said excitedly pulling her in by her wrist.

I had to admit…. this was almost as thrilling as murdering a mass amount of demons!

Charlie smiled at me like I was the best thing there.

Well, I was!

Swing dancing wasn't as quick as tango unless you wanted it to be. I slowed down the tempo this time. Charlie caught on just as quickly and moved her hips back and forth with expert skill. It was as if God had decided to play a cruel joke and send this woman here to tempt me- making me wait almost a century for someone worthy of my admirantion for dancing!

Again, she allowed me to set the pace and how I wanted to dance with her. She didn't seem the least bit bothered by me or my constant need for control in our movements, she simply went along with it.

Hell was playing a cruel joke on me indeed!

The next one we slow danced.

Then we did another tango then danced to electro swing music.

Hell, this woman got me to do something called twist and shout I think she had called it! Once she showed me how to do it, it was rather easy. She laughed and grinned the whole time, that smile never faltering.

She continued to call Mr. Sinner, never asking for my actual name. She never brought up any small talk of any kind. It was perfect.

Too perfect.

It made me feel… weird.

Hmmmm….

Anyways, it was late- like two in the morning late when the party decided to stop. We finished off our last slow dance of the night before breaking apart. Charlie and I only smiled. We bowed to each other and that was that. We never exchanged names. I watched her walk off into the crowd but it seemed once she left my arms, she was frowning as all the excitement left her face.

It made me feel some kind of way I couldn't explain.

I hoped to see her again.

But I hadn't.

Back to the present!

Little Miss Niffty! Ah- her and that device she called a phone. She was squealing in delight when she came running at me in full force. I already knew what was going to happen…. she was going to crash into my legs. I always laughed when she did it and then I threatened her…. every single time but she would do it again and again.

That was just how she was I suppose but I did tower over by three feet. I'm just glad she never broke my legs.

"Mr. Alastor! Look at this!"

"You know I don't like that thing-

"I know but it's the Princess of Hell! Look! She got into a fight like two months ago and I just saw the video! You'll love it!"

"I highly doubt it-

She thrust the device into my face anyways not caring for my reponse. It took me a second for my eyes to adjust the outrageous amount of light coming from her cellphone. I blinked a few times when I saw her. The lady I had danced with that night a few months before was on the screen. I took the phone from her hands and just watched it. I watched her talk, sing and fight, then catching the place on fire.

"You ok Mr. Alastor?"

I barely heard her.

"It's her."

I pulled the phone away my face a little bit more.

"I told you about the demoness I had danced with that night. This is her!"

I had to say I was rather excited. I had actually tried looking for her at a few more of those block parties but it was if she disappeared right out of Hell.

"Play the the thing again, my dear."

Niffty dragged some red line back and I rewatched the video again, watching it more closely as if I would miss something.

"This…. this is the Princess of Hell you say?"

"That's what it says on the description."

"Hmmmm."

I handed back the phone to Miss Niffty and headed for the front door of my tower.

"Where are you going?!"

I turned around with a victorious smile on my face. No, no I wouldn't tell them I had been actively looking for her…. No, but I would do what it is I needed to get into Miss Charlie's good graces for another dance….

or a few dances. As many as she would allow me.

On my way!

That hotel was a bit…. sad looking honestly but it was fine I suppose. Charlie wanted to run a redemption hotel and to try to get people to Heaven because of the yearly purge. What a sweet and noble thing for her to want to do. It seemed to fit her angelic doll face. That pretty face was a front for the beautiful demon that lay underneath…..

I noticed that the old wooden door was already open and I could hear the noise of a bunch of disgusting sinners on the inside. Well, I wonder how popular she had become? I wonder… that spat she had with that gray woman had anything to do with this because it certainly made a lot of sense.

I stepped inside quietly looking around at all the demons in the lobby and the whole place suddenly got quiet.

Oh my! HA HA HA

I forgot my presence did that sometimes! Every single one of them looked afraid for their tiny, insigncgant lives I almost started my diabolical laughing but I stopped myself when Charlie turned around. She wore a suit that almost looked red (kind of looked pink) she wore some stylish white and black shoes and her hair was in a ponytail.

My heart gave a weird flutter I wasn't sure for what reason. It was similar to the times I was stalking my prey…..

Hmmm…..

I thought maybe for a second Charlie would have some emotion on her face that showed she remembered me but she didn't. She gave me a welcoming smile and made her way to me. I stood there leaning on my mic giving her the biggest grin I could. My, it took me back to our first dance.

"Hi there! Can I help you out?"

Well then! She didn't remember me after all.

"I came to see what all the fuss was about! Look at this! You have so many sinners already!"

She tilted her head for a moment, frowning but her smile never left her face.

"Oh? Well thank you."

"I saw your show on a companion of mine's….. phone. I had to see what it was all about! So you want to redeem sinners for Heaven?"

"If you're here to make fun of me-

"No no sweetheart!"

I watched as that pale face turned pink before she cleared her throat. Apparently she was ready for me to ridcule her.

"Then what can I help you with?" she asked with a smile.

"I would love you to help me work on myself! Let me get to know myself better! Maybe a shot at gaining redemption or bettering myself!"

That wonderful smile of hers came at full force- it was almost like being blinded by the damn sun…. good lord! It suited her so well!

"Really?! I'm so glad to hear that…. um… my apologizes…. What is your name?" she asked tucking some hair behind her ear.

"Alastor darling! It's quite the pleasure to meet you Miss Charlie," I said taking her free hand that wasn't clutching a clipboard.

I ran my thumb over the top of her hand and her blush turned even darker.

"Ni-nice to meet you Alastor. Would you like me to explain everything about what you need to do in the hotel once you're staying here?"

"Oh my, I get to stay here too?"

She nodded quickly, "It helps keep you from the vices you like…. once you meet some standards, then you can have approval to stay out on the outside of the hotel."

"Go on my dear! Explain away!"

"Charlie!"

My eyes landed on that same gray woman from the block party Charlie had fought with. Vaggie…. yes that was her name. Charlie turned around to look at her.

"Yea, what's up Vaggie?"

The demon grabbed Charlie and nearly pulled the girl off her feet when she dragged her away. She started yelling things I couldn't quite hear but I minded my business. I wonder what Vaggie would tell my dear dancing partner. I wonder what kind of shock would overcome that doll like face….. the horror of who she was talking to and blushing at.

Who she had danced with.

I waited patiently- watching but no such expression overcame Charlie's face. Instead, she held up a hand, said something and walked away from her.

Oh…. well- color me surprised! I wonder what she said! Charlie came back over with that same wonderful smile she had graced me with several times before.

"Alright, Al. Let me show you where your room will be."
"Lead the way sweetheart!"

We made our way down the hallway as I cast a glance back to see the way Vaggie was staring at me. Oh my, the hate on her face made me shiver with delight. I loved that look but I know she would never do anything about it unless she was a fool.

"Do you want neighbors or do you want more of a less populated area?"

"I prefer my space if that's fine with you."

"The most space is the fifth floor. Up there is the library, rec room and my room. There's fifteen rooms up there altogether so I can place you at the far end by yourself. Is that ok?" she asked me.

"That is quite dandy! I love how considerate you are!"

Charlie let out a low giggle and pressed the button on the elevator.

"I don't have as many therapy sessions as Vaggie does, so I can add you onto mine. Since it is Wednesday and I don't have anyone else, it'll be perfect! We can spend a few hours or so getting all your info and such on paper. If that's ok? I know some people don't like to talk about themselves."

"Therapy you say?"

"Yes!"

I allowed her to walk in first and I followed her in. She started writing down stuff on clipboard. I managed to be only a foot from her when I smelled something sweet coming from her. I couldn't quite place it after all…. Sweets weren't my thing.

"Do you dance Charlie?" I asked watching her face.

Her ruby colored eyes flickered over to mine. A small smile appeared.

"I used too…. but not anymore."

My smile almost fell off my face….. almost.

"Why is that my dear?"

"Well…. Vaggie was my girlfriend… The one from downstairs and we would dance sometimes but the last time we tried to do anything like that… It didn't end well for us. We had a fight at a party and then again here. I…. After that I just didn't want to anymore."

"My dear, that's no reason to not dance ever again!"

Charlie made a weird face at me- I couldn't quite place the emotion behind it though.

"You… you think? I mean it doesn't matter…. I don't think I'm that good at it anyways…."

"What?"

I was dumbfounded. How could she think she wasn't a good dancer?! My word- I was going to have a heart attack! I don't compliment others often but for her to down play herself like that was downright insulting!

Charlie arched an eyebrow at me, "Are you able to tell if someone is a good dancer by looking at them or something?"

"Well no-

"It's ok Al. Anyways….. we're here."

The elevator doors opened wide and it was very quiet. Oh I loved the quiet.

"This way please. We can talk more in your room if that's ok with you."

"Of course, whatever you need darling."

"O-ok."

The two of us made it down the hall. I had barely paid any attention to where we were going. I had no intentions of being there forever anyways. As long as I could get Charlie to dance with me again and continue doing so when I felt like it, I didn't care for anything else. She showed me the door that would be mine- at the very end of the hall. She pulled out a set of keys and unlocked it. She went in first and I followed. I shut the door just in time to turn around to see a fiery look on her pale doll face.

Charlie slammed her hand by my face against the wood.

Well, I almost jumped- if I had to give her some credit.

Almost.

"Listen here Alastor. Vaggie was trying to tell me you were bads news and I don't believe her until I see it for myself. I saw the way everyone reacted to you being here so something tells me you're a scary guy. Which is fine but this isn't a game to me. Is that clear?"

I wanted to laugh in that innocent pretty face of hers- I did but I didn't. I would've murdered others for something as simple as trying to intimadate me…. but not her. I pried her hand off the door and held it to my lips to see her determination starting to waver slightly.

"I promise to be good for as well as I can. I'm aware of the effect I have on others."

"O-oh well ok then."

Charlie pulled away and grabbed a chair from the corner. She placed it at the end of the bed and turned to me with a smile.

"Please sit."

She took the chair and I sat at the end of the bed.

"Ok…. First question. Is there anything that you consider a vice that you might need to stop doing to be better?"

"I suppose I have several. Would you like me to list them? It's a rather long list if I do say so myself."

She was very professional. I loved it. She stuck out the tip of her tongue in the corner of her lips as she wrote. Well….

"Whatever you want to tell me. I'm not here to judge."

"Well, I love murdering others."

Charlie stopped and stared at me. I still wore my smile but I am sure it was bordering on sadistic at this point. The reaction I got from her was interesting. She looked thoughtful for a few seconds before writing it down.

"What else?"

"I eat other demons."

Her head snapped upward much quicker to stare at me. I blinked rapidly at her before she ended up laughing. I was quite taken back by her reaction to my cannibalism. What was so funny?

"I'm sorry Al! You keep smiling like that and I'm not sure if I should believe you! I'm so sorry!"

She cleared her throat, her cheeks pink and her eyes bright.

"It is the truth my dear Princess and I always smile! I love smiling."

"I see…. Alright. Do you know why you like doing it?"

"You want the short version or the truth?" I asked giving her a smug smile.

I wanted to see her look even slightly terrified of me.

Just a little though.

"Whatever you want to tell but it has to be the truth."

"Do you know who I am?" I asked, "I'm sure your ex lover told you yes?"

"I didn't really let her tell much of anything. You're Alastor."

"Haven't you ever heard of the Radio Demon?"

Charlie shrugged, "Not really."

I simply stared at her. She looked serious enough. Unless this woman had one hell of a poker face I had no idea what to say.

"So you eat other demons and you like murdering them too…. Anything else?"

"You're kidding me, yes?"

She gave me an apologetic smile, "No kidding here Al. Why would anyone call you the 'Radio Demon.' You don't look like radio to me."

"I sound like one. I had my carnage broadcasted on a radio when I came to Hell. I murdered serveral overlords."

I did not like to brag and I'm wasn't bragging. I was merely stating it for her because well…. her reaction was outrageouly hilarious to a certain extent and it also infurirated me at the same time.

"Oh. So you're an overlord?" Charlie asked with a smile.

"I guess?"

She scribbled that down too.

"Anything else about you I should watch out for?"

"I get bored easily. So I kill for the heart racing thrill."

Her eyes met mine, "Oh…. You're one of those then? I guess I will have to keep you entertained! Is there anything you like to do besides kill and devour other sinners?"

"Dancing and cooking. I can sing, play music also make my own music and I love reading."

"Wow! If you want, you can start helping me cook tomorrow morning if you want? I get up at five in the morning serve breakfast about six thirty to seven. I do lunch at twelve thirty and then dinner at six thirty."

"I suppose I can as long as no one else if taking up space."

"Of course! I can stay out of your way-

"No, no dear. You can help."

That bright, enuthisatic smile popped up again.

"Oh, well that would be a lot of fun!"

We sat there for over an hour making small chit chat but she didn't mention much about herself. I went on telling her about my human life. I found parts of it rather boring myself but with Charlie being Hell born, she found every word coming out of my mouth facsanating. It was nice having someone who listened and didn't go running for the hills the moment they saw me.

"I'm sorry for talking your ear off! We only have fourteen other sinners here other me and Vaggie. So there isn't a lot of them…. but I will have to ask you not to eat anyone or kill them…. Please. If you have any issues or anyone who is being plain rude, come find me. I don't think Vaggie will help you. If she does try to target you, let me know."

She tapped her pen against her ebony lips for a moment.

"Oh yea- don't kill Angel Dust. He loves men and he doesn't know how to keep his comments to himself but he is working on it. If it gets to be too much just walk away."

I felt my eyes narrow to slits.

"If he touches me he's dead."

Charlie seemed to pale a little if that was possible.

"You…. have touch aversions?"
"Yes."

"I apologize if I touched you-

"No, don't be. I will let you know if I don't like it. Though, the pinning me against the door was a rather bold move on your part."

I watched her face turn pink again.

"Oh my god! That looked so suggestive- I didn't even think about! You were the first person I saw Vaggie have a panic attack over pretty much so I just…. I am so sorry! Can you forgive me Al?"

"All is forgiven dear. Don't you worry that pretty little head of yours. I can understand your sudden outburst. I found it entertaining."

"Oh…. ok."

"I love people who are entertaining."

I gave her a sly grin as I leaned in closer to her, making her pale face turn as red as my dress shirt.

"Would you like a tour of the whole hotel?" she cried out standing up quickly.

I arched an eyebrow at her sudden outburst but I let it go seeing the look of embarrassment on her face.

"Of course. You are the manager dear. Take me wherever you need too."

Charlie showed me everything- starting with her bedroom door. She insisted if I needed anything at all at night, I could go to her. She showed me every floor and then the lobby of course. It seemed to clear out as soon as I stepped foot in there. The affect I have on people…. I loved it. It was even better Charlie wasn't afraid and running for the hills. She stayed close with me, occasioncally bumping arms with me but I allowed it.

I liked her…. a lot.

I should have talked to her more that night. That was my mistake, allowing her to leave like that.

"This is the kitchen."

She pushed open the door for me to see. It wasn't the biggest kitchen in the world but it would work.

"So where do you feed all the worthless scum of the world at?"

"Alastor! Don't be like that! They're doing their best here!"

I chuckled and patted her shoulder, "Of course."

She was a funny little thing.

"We feed everyone in the lobby usually. I don't really have a dining room area. I wish the kitchen had been connected to a dining room but it isn't."

"Such a shame."

It really was.

"Yea I know. I have to set up the tables every morning. I have eight round tables I use and two long ones for the food I make."

"Charlie!"

The poor princess nearly jumped out of her skin. I wasn't surprised- I had suspected that gray woman would be watching us. I did not like her one bit. Much to my surprised delight, she was carrying a spear. Did she think that pathetic spear would do something against me? HA HA HA!

"What's up Vaggie?"

"The open house is over. We didn't get a single one!"

"That's not true…. Alastor is staying here. So that's one."

That woman glared at me. Oh my….. so much hatred and she didn't even know me. She knew of me but didn't know me.

"You're gonna allow that pompous cheezy shitlord to stay here?!"

"Be nice! He's very respectful-

"He's a deal maker Charlie!"

The princess turned and glanced at me.
"Is that so?"

"I am," I answered honestly.

I summoned my mic stand and leaned on it looking a little bored.

"Al isn't going to do any deals while he's here. What he does out there is all on him but inside here he will be respecting my rules. Just like everyone else."

"How do you know he won't do that?!"
"I respect Charlie after all. I'm here to learn about myself. Any deals I have ongoing will have to be completed but for now I don't plan on taking on anymore."

I did not actually. It would only make things worse if I started adding more work to my plate when I needed to play my part here. I needed Charlie to open up, remember me and I will have one bit of my boring afterlife to look forward too. I had no intentions of leaving until I got what I wanted.

This woman hated me. Her very soul burned with it and I loved it. I wanted to bathe in her hatred and laugh manically…. I could do that when I'm alone tonight.

"He's up to something Charlie! I'm telling you!"

"I am. I'm making breakfast tomorrow," I stated looking at my gloves, flicking off a speck I had found.

"See? Can you please chill out for little bit?

That Vaggie sighed in defeat and continued to glare daggers at me whenever she could. Well, another hurdle I must overcome but a small one.

I just needed to play along after all.
