The next morning, I eagerly waited by Charlie's door. I was elated to be there and to have some time to myself with her without that pesky woman glaring at me the whole time. It was odd how much hate one could produce with one eye honestly. I would've laughed about it some more if it didn't annoy me so much.

I could hear the princess moving around in her room. My heart skipped a beat or a few (I wouldn't say) at the sound. I went across the hall to stare at her door so she could see me once she opened the door. I didn't want to scare her so early in the morning. I summoned my mic stand and twirled it around carelessly waiting for her. Good thing good ol' Husker wasn't here, otherwise he would've given me a horrible commentary about how I looked.

I didn't need to hear it.

I heard her jingle her door knob and her door flew open. My eyes widened upon seeing her. The woman wasn't even dressed for the day. She wore a neon yellow tank top that was a too bright- an assault on the eyes in the morning like this it was almost a crime! Her pajama bottoms were black with the same color yellow hearts and she was wearing bunny slippers. She blinked a few times staring at me.

"Aaaaa-

"Good morning Princess Charlie! You look way too radiant for the morning!" I said cheerfully.

She giggled as she brushed some hair from her forehead.

"Sorry Al… I forgot you were helping me. I usually prepare breakfast in my sleeping clothes. I hope that's ok with you- I don't want to make you uncomfortable. The best I did was tame my hair…. It looks like a disaster in the morning if I don't."

"My, my! What a sight to behold I bet!"

She blushed and fidgeted in place.

"So, what do you usually make the loathsome scum of the Hell in the morning?"

"H-hey! Be nice! They're trying!"

"I suppose so… I have yet to see it so my words still stand."

Charlie crossed her arms and gave me a stern look, puffing out those rosy cheeks making my smile widen.

"I like you Charlie," I stated walking closer to her, "You amuse me and that's good. As long as I'm entertained, I can hang around darling."

She arched an eyebrow at me. She looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Uh huh."

She turned away from me and started walking down the hallway towards the elevator so I followed her quietly. Her rebellious attitude was down right hilarious and she even tried to look menacing but it was just endearing than anything else. She pressed the button for down and I made sure to stand as close as I could without touching her.

"You shouldn't make fun of other people," she said without looking at me.

"Why is that dear?"

"Well, for one, you're stuck in Hell too. That is your fault because of the choices you made so you are no different than them," she said glancing up at me.

I was a bit taken back by her response. I had not expected that.

The doors opened and we stepped inside. I reminded silent. What was I supposed to say?

Well.

One point for the Princess of Hell I guess.

We left the elevator and headed for the kitchen still quiet as can be. It seemed no one other than her woke up early and to me that was little odd. Wasting the day away from just sleeping?

How boring.

"I usually do scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage and I put out cereal."

None of that seemed very original.

Charlie placed her hands on her hips as she stood by the kitchen table.

"That's all? Nothing different?"

"Well…. It's what I can make a lot of…."

"Fret not my dear! Let's make something rather more interesting! Sometimes for breakfast my mother would simply make a fruit salad with a little whipped cream at the top!"

"Oh what's a fruit salad?" Charlie asked.

I just blinked at her. She lived in a palace yes? Wouldn't they have something like that?

"My mother's version of fruit salad was different fruits thrown into a bowl. She loved grapes, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, apples and kiwi. Sometimes she would use banana. Some people place nuts or even chocolate drizzle on it. Didn't they serve a lot of things in the castle you lived in?"

"Oh…. well my parents weren't big on breakfast so I…. just asked for the stuff I knew I liked…."

"Well then…. color me surprised. Show me the fridge darling."

"It's just that one."

She pointed to the large white appliance.

"You only have one? Not a walk in fridge? Isn't this a hotel?"

"Well, no it wasn't originally. This was a vacation home…. so I managed to modify it the best I could. Most of my powers are flame related. Distorting items and twisting them to make something else isn't my strong suit. It took me a whole year to do the hotel in this way."

I was blown away. I had just assumed that this hotel came as it was. I had no idea Charlie was strong enough to manipulate inanimate objects to her will. Well, well, well….. What a surprise after all. The angel faced Princess of Hell was a power house.

Very interesting.

Exciting even.

"Well, then…. I'm very good at that exact thing!" I said to Charlie who stood there with a goofy smile on her face, "Allow me today to fix that very issue! Instead today, we will make eggs in a basket and some of those other food items you mentioned!"

"R-really?"

"Of course! We wasted plenty of time already so let's get started!"

And so, we did.

Charlie explained it usually took her an hour to cook everything but this time with my help, it only took thirty minutes. I even put up her tables and chairs with a snap of my fingers. The way her red eyes sparkled with delight at my power, made me smug. Oh yes, I knew how amazing I was…. but seeing the happiness, the sheer amount of awe on Charlie's face fed my already inflated ego.

I couldn't help but be more proud of myself than usual.

I put everything on the two long tables Charlie had used for placing food, when I noticed Vaggie stalking towards me.

Well, that one hour of delightful fun filled with Charlie's excited squeals was gone. I wonder how angry the princess would be if I simply locked this annoying pest in her hotel room so she couldn't come out? The thought made me smile.

I really wish I could do that.

"What are you up too you big asshole?!" she snarled at me.

"So much anger in the morning Miss Vagatha!"

"Don't call me that!"

My grin only got bigger- creepier.

"Are you ready for breakfast? Miss Charlie and I have been working quite hard!"

"I highly fucking doubt you helped her at all!"

Her one eye landed on the egg in a basket- plates full of them. The way I was smiling made my face hurt a little but I could see the surprise on her face and I couldn't help but smile more. She looked back at me quite slowly as if she couldn't believe it.

"Charlie doesn't know how to make that…."

"I'm aware."

"I still don't fucking trust you! You're a big piece of shit-

"Hi Vaggie!"

Charlie came out of the kitchen door carrying a large stainless steel dispenser that was labeled 'coffee' on the front.

"Allow me," I said and I took the container full of boiling hot liquid from her hands.

As much as it joyed me to see her happy smiles, I will have to go out and murder someone later…. for good measure. I don't want to be too nice, because that would be a shame, really it would be.

"Did you sleep good?" I heard the princess ask her ex lover.

"I guess. I tossed and turned all night. Fucking Angel had his porn up so loud it was hard to sleep."

"Again?" Charlie groaned.

"Anything else?" I asked walking back over to her.

"I think that's it….. I gotta go take care of something though."

She scratched her head and let out a yawn.

"Go ahead and eat. I will deal with Angel."

"Last time he threw one of his boots at me…." Vaggie said, "I don't think it would be a good idea since he's only been asleep since three in the morning."

"I got it."

Charlie marched off in her fuzzy bunny slippers looking stern and serious. Quite hilarious. Those slippers weren't doing her any justice.

"I will accompany you to this heathen's room," I declared walking briskly to catch up to her, "Was he one of your first… clients?"

"Yea, he was."

"Interesting."

We took the elevator to the third floor. The first door of the hallway had Miss Vagatha's name on it. I suppose that made some sense. We only had to walk three doors down from the angry moth's door to see the sign said 'Angel Dust.' Then there was another sign under it. It was written badly and said 'Suck it Bitches.'

I did not like this person already.

I reached out, snatched the vulgar sign off of the door and burned it in my hand to ashes. Charlie just stared at me with wide eyes. I gave her a pleasant smile and returned my hands behind my back. She snickered and it was quite the sweet sound. I had expected for her to reprimand me but she didn't. Apparently she didn't like the sign either.

Charlie reached out and banged on the door much louder than I thought she would. Perhaps this particular sinner was a heavy sleeper?

"FUCK!"

I cringed so slightly but Charlie seemed unfazed as if this was a normal occurrence. The wooden door flew open with the hinges squeaking in protest at the force. This fellow was eight feet tall! Then it dawned on me I had a general idea who this person was…. he was that disgusting porn star I've seen on billboards.

"Angel-

"WHAT THE FUCK YOU WANT NOW?!"

"You kept some people up last night-

"You thought to wake me up and bitch about it?!"

"I did! Now listen here-

"No you listen here princess, I'm tired and annoyed-

That was enough of that! I jammed my mic into his perverted throat making him screech. From the look in those mismatched eyes, he didn't see me standing by Charlie's side. The princess looked a little shocked by my actions but it effectively shut him up so she didn't say anything to me at that moment.

"Go on darling. It was rude of him to speak to you that way."

She gave me a weak smile.

"Oh- well can you put down your mic thingy. T-thanks."

I grinned as I allowed it to disappear.

"Angel, you can watch whatever you want and that's fine but keep it down. I know you're proud of your work but some others don't want to hear it…. when they're trying to sleep at least."

"Who is this red pimp daddy over here?" Angel Dust asked effectively ignoring anything the princess said.

I grimaced as bile started to rise into my throat.

"He's not a pimp and this is Alastor. He's staying with us to better himself."

"It's about time you get some hot man ass in here."

That thing took a step towards me, reaching out with one of his lower arms but Charlie intercepted at the last moment…. unfortunately his disgusting hand end up groping her…. chest. I did not see the look on Charlie's face but the amount of heat that blasted off of her said she was embarrassed or annoyed… probably both. The porn star looked like he touched something repulsive and he screeched like a screaming bird.

"EWWW JESUS I TOUCHED YOUR TINY BOOB! GROSS!"

I sighed. Charlie heeded my warning I would kill him if he touched me. I didn't mean for her to be violated in the process though.

I felt a little guilty.

"Are you ok?" I asked, my smile had faltered a bit but she nodded with her cheeks redder than usual while Angel Dust had a hysterical fit.

I backed up, placing my hands on her tiny shoulders and pulled her back with me.

"Ugh! I wasn't aiming for you!"

His eyes met mine and I felt my skin crawl. I didn't like that lewd, suggestive look he was throwing my way and I accidentally dug my claws into her shoulders. She winced just slightly but she didn't say anything.

"I won't bite unless you want me too," the spider demon asked, his voice all dark and horrible.

"Angel stop it! He doesn't like that!"

"I will kill you if you try anything," I said, static thick in my voice, "I do not want to filthy up my own hands with your disgusting blood."

"Jesus christ Charlie!" Angel cried out looking more terrified now, backing up.

I managed to loosen up a little with my grip on Charlie. I was not terrified of that disgusting fellow, it was just the words coming out of his mouth made me feel wrong. I did not like that and I had actually killed a few people for talking to me that way.

"Keep it down, understand?"

"Yea whatever!"

The sinner slammed the door in Charlie's face and I finally let go of her completely. She let out a sigh and turned to look at me. I left little marks in her skin, making her bleed. I did not intend to do that.

"My apologies Charlie…."

I cleared my throat but she just smiled at me.

"It's alright. At ten, we'll meet in your room for therapy if that's ok and we can talk then?"

"Yes, as you wish."

"Let's go eat breakfast then! I can't wait to try it!"

"Just a moment dear."

I snapped my fingers and held out my hand. A small pile of band-aids appeared in my hands. She looked surprised by this as I placed them on her carefully so I wouldn't scratch her again. I normally didn't touch people but when my hand landed on something, I usually cut it.

"There."

"T-thanks Al."

Did I really expect any of those fools to leave any food?

No.

They did not disappoint me but they disappointed Charlie. She looked so upset there wasn't anything left, I pushed her into the kitchen and made her more food. The princess was bouncing in her seat as I placed the plate in front of her. My, I have never seen someone so giddy over eating food before.

It made me feel weird.

Hmmmm….

Perhaps when I take a stroll later, I will have have to torture the demon unlucky enough to come across my path before killing them for…. for my own safety. I'm here for a dance partner not that ridiculous idea of redemption but I applaud Miss Charlie for her efforts, she was trying.

I sat across from her and sipped my coffee watching her. She certainly looked so happy. Enough to make my heart skip a beat at the thought.

I must be sick. I have to be coming down with something.

"This is the best Al! I wish you would've been here sooner! Everyone had been griping at me because I make a lot of the same shit and I just…. I mean I had to learn how to cook and everyone gets bored with what I do."

"Those ungrateful, loathsome creatures. If it was me, I would've made the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner on purpose."

She giggled, "That's very passive aggressive!"

"I do not play nice with those who disrespect me."

"Like my shoulders?" she teased before shoving another piece of bacon into her mouth.

I coughed a little.

"That was an accident. I didn't mean to harm you."

"It's alright!" Charlie said with a smile, "I know it was a little hard for me to get used to him at first but I'm ok with it now. It's just how Angel is."

I made a very disgusted face and she choked on her coffee.

"Oh my god! That face of yours!" she wheezed out and slapped her hand on the table.

I was a little baffled watching her as she started giggling loudly.

"Angel is Angel. It takes time to change…. He's only been here a few months."

"What has he improved on?"

Charlie's smiling face melted away to… well something close to despair. She drummed her fingers against the table thinking.

"It's quite alright Charlie. I was looking for some shred of respect I could have for him but I suppose not. He's still…. disgusting."

She chuckled and looked at her cup of coffee. (I almost puked with how many sugar cubes she dumped into it. My reaction alone was enough to make her eyes tear up while she was laughing.)

I did not expect to enjoy Charlie's presence at all. Instead, I found myself liking it an ungodly awful amount and that bothered me. I barely been here a day- a day- I felt odd whenever I looked at her.

That was…. not good.

If she was this nice to me- someone like me, then why hadn't that filthy perverse creature changed any?

Anyways, I shall ask her to dance with me in my therapy session. I would like to see why she won't…. the reason she gave me wasn't not good enough and I refuse to accept it.

"I gotta change and do some hotel duties. I'll see you soon Al, ok?"

Charlie rose from her seat and placed the dishes in the sink.

"Alright Miss Charlie. See you soon."

I made sure to watch the princess from a distance. She gathered up bed clothes in these giant dumpster looking things. She changed all the rooms herself. She did paperwork, she cleaned the lobby. Honestly, where was Vaggie? Why wasn't she helping her? None of the sinners lifted a single finger to help her.

That ruffled my fur I had to say.

Hm….

I went to my floor fifteen minutes until ten when I heard Charlie and Vagatha talking. It sounded like they were arguing again. I sighed. I can see why they broke up. Vaggie seemed to be the type to just argue about everything.

"He helped me out with Angel. I have to say it was improvement not having the door slammed in my face before I made my point."

"He left marks on you!"

"Well, yes but I think Alastor doesn't like being touched and especially by people he doesn't know. Especially those who make sexual comments… Angel called him 'red pimp daddy.' He didn't like that."

"Gross! Like that cheesy smiling fuck is anything remotely close to hot or attractive!"

Well, that was a little mean! That wretch!

"Vaggie, you're lesbian."

"I don't care! He's just creepy Charlie!"

"I don't really get that from-

I heard something hit the floor.

"Shit! Thanks Vaggie! Anyways, I don't think he is. He's opened up some and I see good in him. I will not change my mind."

"Won't you just change your room to my floor please? I would feel a hell of a lot better if you were more near me than him."

"No. I like him and that's that! He's nice, he made breakfast, he set up the tables and that's more than what anyone else has done!"

"How do you know he's not planning to use you?!"

I heard Charlie groan.

"Well, tell me!"

"Do you seriously think I can't handle myself?" I heard the princess snap.

"No- I just-

"I already warned him," Charlie said, her voice getting deeper, "Quit pestering me about it. I won't repeat myself anymore. Are you still making grilled cheese for lunch for everyone?"

"I guess…."

"Thanks Vaggie! I have to do my therapy session with Al and then I can go over the expenses and stuff. I can clean the first floor too."

"Alright, I will do the second floor."

"Great!"

I made sure to walk past her room quickly and down to mine before they saw me. Hmmm, she really didn't like Charlie defending me…. That is interesting.

But all thoughts connected to that was cut off when I heard Charlie knocking. I got up from my bed and answered the door to see her smiling up at me. She was wearing a sky blue button up top today with her black suspenders and black slacks. The pop of color was interesting…. I hadn't noticed when she was doing all her duties earlier.

"Hey Al-

I took her hand and bowed, placing a quick kiss on her hand leaving her stunned and stuttering, leaving me smug to get such a reaction out of her.

Once she managed to recover, she sat down in the chair I placed across from my bed. I sat at the end like I did yesterday and gave her a much more gentle smile. Her fair skin was still very red leaving me impressed it had remained that color for so long.

She expressed her emotions so clearly for everyone to see.

I liked that.

"Alright, so we have a whole two hours until lunch to get started. Is there anything you feel like I should know or should I just start asking the usually questions?" she asked me, barely able to look me in the eye.

"I suppose I have no idea what you need to know so ask away dear!"

"Alright," Charlie said as she flipped to a page on her clipboard, "What was the worse thing you experienced when you were human."

"Oh well…. I suppose being hunted."

She blinked rapidly.

"Someone hunted you?"

She looked positively mortified by this much to my amusement.

"Oh course! When they discovered I was murdering all those people, they had a squad of ten men, ten dogs and five men on horses after me! I had so many body parts in my basement and I accidentally failed to finish of some lady who had annoyed me by making a comment about my bottom."

I could not come up with the words that expressed what Charlie's face looked like. Her ebony lips were parted, her red eyes wide and her pen was frozen in her hand.

"That had to be far worse I had been through- the chase was exciting though! I laughed while I ran. They needed that many men to get me? How laughable! I didn't go down without a fight though! I managed to get a hold of one of their shotguns- two actually and I fired away. If I was going to die, I was going out with a bang darling!"

I cackled manically for a minute leaving Charlie stunned. I managed to calm myself down and wipe away the tears from my eyes! What a bittersweet memory!

"Are you ok darling? You look a bit rattled."

The princess stared at me for another minute, not even blinking. Did she die sitting up like that? I waved my hand out in front of her face before she blinked rapidly.

"Oh…. Um sorry. I was thinking really hard."

"Apparently so! Do tell me, about what though?"

"You love cooking, singing and dancing…. but why kill people or other sinners? What was lacking in your life for you to do such things?"

My smile actually fell off my face. That was one question I wasn't expecting! She had me stunned so much that I now stared at her. How the hell would I know what lacked in my life?

"Did you have loving parents?"

"Yes," I answered.

"Did you have friends?" she asked next watching me closely.

"I had fans."

I apparently continued to make Charlie stupefied with my answers. I'm not sure what was more comical- her expressions or her inability to speak.

"You had…. fans?"

"Yes of course! Everyone loved hearing me speak on the radio! My taste in music was great as well. It was very nice and all until people found out what I looked like. Then I started having people follow me."

"Is that when you started killing people?"

"No, I was doing that before hand. The attention made it difficult for me to…. let off some steam. I couldn't go five feet without someone in my face so I was stuck inside my house outside of work most days."

"That…. would be annoying."

I tilted my head curiously at her.

"It was- very much so….. I suppose you would understand, being the princess and all."

Charlie out a big snort and started writing on her paper.

"Is that not the case for the lovely princess of Hell?"

"Hell no. I'm always mocked. The only time anyone seemed interested in me was when I was younger and wanted to marry me for power. I'm sure most of them were very disappointed because none of them actually cared about me so I didn't care for anyone of them. I dated a few to make my parents happy but they let it go after eighty years."

"Eighty years of that? Well, that would be more annoying than me being followed around for a few years."

She smiled and looked down at her clipboard.

"Would you like a turn to vent, Princess?"

She raised her head slowly, "What?"

"You sound frustrated…. more than I would ever be. Would you like to use some of our therapy time to vent? I do not mind."

"Oh, that wouldn't be professional though?"

I rolled my eyes, "Alright then, what do you do to burn off that pent up anger and frustration?"

"I….." she trailed off.

"Why don't we dance then to help you out with that?" I offered standing up before her, holding out my hand.

Charlie eyed my hand then my face. She raised one hand up slowly but let it drop to her side.

"I can't."

Damnit, so close.

"Why is that?"

Charlie looked up at me then looked down at her clipboard shamefully. I grabbed her upper arms and pulled her from her seat.

"H-hey!"

I pushed her down on the edge of my bed and then sat in the chair. I plucked the clipboard and pen from her hands then placed it in my lap.

"Tell me why you can't dance Miss Charlie?"

She blushed and hung her head so her hair hid her face.

"I love dancing!" I went on waving my hand around, "It's in that moment no one else matters. Just the music beating through the floor and filling your ears, making it part of your soul for those few minutes."

The princess raised her head looking a little shell shocked, "That was beautiful."

"Yes, yes but it's the truth. You seem more upset you aren't dancing though. What's eating at you to cause you so many issues?"

She flinched in her spot before speaking.

"I went to a block party a few months back before I opened the hotel. I had hoped to find someone or at least a few sinners to come and stay. I just wanted to offer it…. No one can try and redeem themselves unless they want too, right? Vaggie and I danced for a little bit before looking. The party was really tame so I thought I could find someone there…. We ended up fighting and Vaggie dumped me….."

Charlie let out a shaky breath.

"She said 'we're done' and that was that. So I had a few drinks right? I remember a guy kind of and we danced. It was great! It was the best night of my life in a while! Then…. I guess Vaggie caught me- I mean I wasn't doing anything wrong but when she was yelling at me again, she was hurt and I realized I didn't want to dance anymore. I haven't danced since then. I haven't felt the need or want too after that. She was really hurt by me dancing with some stranger."

"I suppose I don't understand since I never had a relationship with anyone else. I may be a novice at such things but you didn't do anything wrong Charlie."

"I know," she answered softly.

"Then what is it?" I asked.

So close….

"She assumed I was just over it like that and I wasn't. I just needed that time to be gone from the world- ya know, not think. Apparently dancing with some 'uppity douche' was not the way to go."

Charlie sighed.

Uppity douche?

Well, Vaggie isn't going to live much longer if she keeps insulting me.

"The worse part is…. she keeps wanting to fix things but I still feel the sting ya know? She's even went on a few dates with some girl but me dancing with someone was the worst thing I could do. She told me my dancing wasn't just dancing- it was my expression of love and….."

Expression of love? I arched an eyebrow at that.

"And?"

Charlie blushed, "She said I was staring at that stranger like I wanted him. She said it looked like I was in love but I was little drunk- tipsy I think."

I almost jumped when she threw herself back against my bed. She let out a heavy sigh.

"So that's why I don't dance. It makes me feel guilty."

"My goodness, that is a ridiculous thing to think!"

She raised her head and glared at me. I chose to ignore her angry gaze and continued.

"How can she think something like that and go out with someone else? I think she should apologize to you instead. You owe her nothing. Did you fornicate with this person?"

"N-no!" Charlie squealed covering her face with her hands, "I went back here and passed out after- after me and her fought again."

Silence fell between us for a few minutes.

"I can't believe you said fornicate."

I smirked, "Would you prefer other words instead? I do know a few."

"No! No- it would be weird coming from you," she said then giggled loudly.

I watched as she sat back up and gave me a big bright smile.

"Wow, I oddly feel better."

I gave her the friendliest smile I could.

"I don't mind sharing my therapy time with you. It seems you need some time to clear your mind and going to your ex for such a thing may not be a good idea."

"Yea, you're right."

She gripped her knees with her hands.

"You wouldn't mind listening to me?"

"I don't mind Charlie. I highly doubt any of the creatures here would understand or bother to listen. I was rather…. annoyed that none of them help you actually. How do they plan to do better themselves if they don't offer to help you?"

The princess looked astonished.

"Well, I mean…. I…."

She didn't even argue about it. She looked really thoughtful.

"Should… should I ask them to do things?"

"If they aren't working and sitting around doing nothing then I think so, yes."

"Alright…. Since Vaggie helps me, I'll mention it to her."

"You don't have to tell her it's my idea. I'm sure if you did, it would upset her more."

Charlie's smiling face fell, "But that would be lying and you deserve credit Al. You've done more than others have and you have only been here one day."

"It's quite alright darling."

She chewed on her bottom lip for a minute.

"I'll think about it."

"Of course, of course!"

Charlie rose from the spot on my bed. I handed over her clipboard and pen with a smile.

"We have ten minutes until lunch…. so I'll give you some time to think about what we talked about today," she said, "See you downstairs Al. Thanks again."

"You're very welcome Charlie."

She waved to me and left alone to my thoughts.

I did not count on Charlie being drunk when we danced. Perhaps this was going to take longer than I thought.

Grilled cheese was rather interesting. Charlie showed me that dipping it into tomato soup made it better. So I gave it a go and honestly, it would've been better home made but I kept my mouth shut for Charlie's sake. Vagatha sat beside of Charlie glaring at me once again. Did that woman ever smile?

"What do you both plan to do this wonderful afternoon?" I asked but I already knew the answer since I overheard them when I came up the stairs.

"Cleaning!" Charlie said with a pained smile.

"Take a radio with you and play some music. It helps pass the time," I said with a smile, "My mother did it so I did it when I started cleaning. It always helped."

"I usually do that with my headphones on and I can drown out the world around me…. It's nice," the princess said looking faraway in thought.

"I see. That's good dear."

Vaggie rolled her eye and looked at down at her empty dishes.

"I guess we better go," she said standing up.

Charlie just glanced at her with a conflicted expression on her face. She looked like she didn't want to leave me but that was just a guess. The two of them took their dishes to the kitchen and disappeared into the hallway, leaving me alone.

Well, I did promise Charlie I would fix the refrigerator issue. I made my way into the kitchen and looked around. The area was spacious but it was pretty bare- that was good. All I needed to do was warp this appliance to be bigger. I cracked my fingers. I haven't had much experience in warping electrical things but it was worth a shot. I placed my hands on it and started spreading my palms out.

I managed to drag the thing out to a full eight feet of space. I warped the door next, making it open from the middle instead of the side. I suppose I could manipulate things since I did so with people when I was alive. It was such a handy thing I could do. I had a few clients try and hide from me. Nothing was more hilarious than seeing their tear stricken faces when they realized I could open walls with my hands.

The terror!

I smirked at the memories.

I opened the fridge up to see my handy work. The whole top was still the freezer with separate doors. Everything was still working as well.

"Now, for the food."

I turned on my heel and left the hotel.

I had someone I needed to murder someone or a few to get rid of this good feeling plaguing me.

Then I could go shopping.
