All of Adventure City was cheering for their fuzzy saviors. The ones who have stopped Mayor Humdinger's diabolical plans to remake this city into his hideous image. One more he was foiled by his enemies, The Paw Patrol. Once again they were getting praised for their good deeds to the city and saving others. The team was the ultimate team. Consisting of their Leader, a young boy named Ryder, and his second in command Chase, and the other pups Marshall, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma, Skye and their newest recruit Liberty.
The team had just stopped a chaotic event and are getting a well deserved rest. They would soon return to Adventure Bay, a small town where they were originally stationed. Despite this, there was going to be an Adventure City Paw Patrol, Liberty was the first recruit but Ryder needed to find new members. It would be the first he would try to do when he got back with the pups. However they were in for a surprise when they got back.
A castle loomed over the fiery inferno of the Dark Lands. A castle with many horrendous tricks and dangerous foes living within it. This was the Koopa Kingdom. A kingdom that makes you feel like you're in danger at every step. The troops who lived here ranged from short brown mushroom people to turtles and even carnivorous plants.
On the way to the mighty castle was a Koopa wearing a blue robe and hat. He resembled a wizard and had glasses as he flew on his broom. His name was Kamek, and he was worried. He frantically flew around and flew up to the balcony of the castle and landed, before continuing on foot. He ran quickly into the room that had the balcony and began shouting.
"Lord Bowser!" Kamek said in a shrill voice, "They're on their way! They have chewed through our defenses!"
He was talking to the king of the castle. He was a big turtle-like creature with horns and spikes with hair red like flames. His eyes were bright red and his shell was emerald green. His name was King Bowser Koopa, king of the Koopa Race. He sat on the throne looking very unamused.
"Don't you think I already know that Kamek?!" He shouted in a deep voice that almost shook the room.
"You will never win, Bowser! Mario and Luigi will save me like always!" Shouted a yellow haired woman wearing a pink dress and a crown.
"Oh yeah?" Bowser challenged, getting up from his royal throne, "That's where you are wrong my darling Princess Peach!"
He took a few steps closer to the captive cage the women stood in.
He continued with a smug grin, "I have called all of the most wretched, the most evil masterminds around the world! We will work together to finally take down fatso and string bean"
Bowser laughed as his voice bellowed causing the room to vibrate. His laughter was cut short when the double doors to his castle before his giant throne. They opened with a loud clunk and squeak. All their gaze was diverted towards the doorway and in it were two men who looked to be about in their 30's. One was short and stumpy, the other was slightly taller and skinny. The short one wore a red hat, shirt and blue overalls while the tall one wore a red hat, shirt and indigo overalls. They both shared one thing in common, they had large, round noses with black moustaches. The short one looked into the room with a serious face while the other held onto him as peered past them with a worried expression.
"Mario! And Luigi!" Princess Peach shouted to the two men, glad to see them. The same couldn't be said for Bowser who looked at the moustached duo with a scowl as he shouted,
"Mario! Green Stache!" He clenched his fist in anger and frustration. Every time these two men came into his castle he was getting bounced and trounced upon and always ended up getting the Princess taken away from him even after he tried so hard to kidnap her and make her his wife.
"Your run is over Bowser" the short man named Mario said, "Give it up, and release the Princess!"
"Never!" Bowser shot back, "I am too awesome to listen to you! Besides, this time, you'll be one who gets their head trounced upon. For I have a secret weapon!"
Luigi peaked from behind his brother and curiously asked,
"Secret weapon? What does it do"
"If I told you it wouldn't be called a secret weapon, genius!" Bowser explained very loudly causing Luigi to flinch. He likes to help people but compared to his brother Mario, he was the most timid.
"And I was gonna show you anyway." Bowser continued as he was about to lift his claw that had 8 Cubicle Stones in a bracelet before Mario jumped into battle quickly and hammered Bowser in the arm causing to break off and fly across the room.
"Hey! I wasn't ready yet!" Bowser shouted as he blocked another hammer attack from Mario with his fist. Luigi jumped in too but was blocked off by Kamek who began to cast a spell with his golden wand. Luigi started running away in terror as Kamek chased him around trying to land a hit on him. Mario continued to battle Bowser, using all of his combat strength to take him down.
Bowser didn't back off so easily, for he wasn't going to take another loss to his arch enemy. It was a long struggle but Mario landed a punch on Bowser in his stomach causing him to fall to his knees from the pain. Mario then quickly ran behind him and grabbed the Koopa King by his tail. With a Mighty heave and spin, Mario threw the Koopa across the room.
Kamek had Luigi cornered and was about to cast a spell on him before Bowser flew right into him knocking him off his broom. They both crashed into the throne before tumbling to the floor.
"Thanks for the save bro!" Luigi thanked Mario.
"No problem, Weege!" Mario shouted back. He then turned towards the captive Princess. He ran over to her cage.
"Okay, let's get you out of here Princess."
"Please do." Princess Peach requested. However they were interrupted by Bowser groaning as he got up and leaving a flattened Kamek on the throne.
Bowser stomped his foot in frustration.
"NO FAIR!" He shouted pointing at Mario, "You didn't even give me a chance to use my secret weapon!" He went to touch his wrist and when he did, he was surprised to feel nothing but his scaly skin. He looked at his arm and began to frantically look around.
"What?! Alright! Where did it go!" He asked no one in particular.
Luigi then noticed the bracelet and he pointed it out,
"Hey Mario, look!" Mario averted his gaze and saw the bracelet on the floor. It had 8 Colorful Cube Stones that each had a different marking in it.
"What is that?" Mario asked himself which caught the attention of Bowser who proceeded to run over to it. He picked up and then shouted at Mario,
"No fair Mario! I didn't even get to use this secret weapon!" As he put it on his wrist, "You're in real trouble now!"
He then lifted his claw with the bracelet on high above his head, but nothing happened. He looked at his claw then tried again, still nothing happened. Bowser looked confused as he kept trying to lift his claw but every time he did it was the same response.
"What gives?!" He asked out loud, "Why is anything happening?!"
"What even is that?" Mario asked, quite curious on what Bowser was trying to use.
"A guy sold this bracelet to me," Bowser annoyingly answered, "They said it was gonna give me all the power I need to destroy my worst enemy, which is you! And knowing how powerful you are that must be a lot of power in this. But I don't know why it isn't working!"
Suddenly a Yellow Orb floated out of Mario's Pocket. It had brown shoes and a star on its head. It was Mario's trusty ally, Starlow the Star Spirit.
"That looks like a charm bracelet to me." Starlow wondered out loud, "You know, a good luck charm? I don't think it does anything."
Mario thought so too, "I think you were tricked, Bowser."
Bowser looked at his bracelet in disbelief, then back to his enemies dumbfounded.
"But- I- How?! You mean to tell me I got suckered by some kind of hippie?! That no good cheating cloaked guy! I want my money back!" Bowser was so angry that he ripped the bracelet off his arm and slammed on the ground with such force that it broke. The 8 Stones scattered across the floor.
"Now my greatest failure has now changed to this day because of those shady people!" Bowser went on, continuing to shout profanities.
"Mama Mia…" Mario said to himself, "Okay Luigi, let's break the princess free and get back to the Mushroom Kingdom." Mario had finally opened the cage door and helped the Princess out of it.
Bowser, after he was finished venting, saw that his enemies were trying to escape with Peach.
"Oh no you don't! Just because my Secret Weapon was useless, doesn't mean I'm just gonna let you walk outta here without a fair fight!" The doors to his throne room had been previously shut by Kamek who was leaning on his broom. The doors flung open again, knocking Kamek to the side of the room as Koopa Troopas, Goombas, Hammer Bros and many more of Bowser's minions came barreling in. Mario, Luigi and Starlow stood in front of the Princess and prepared for a tough battle. However what happened next was nothing either side was expecting.
The floor had suddenly begun to rumble, catching everyone off guard.
"What now!?" Bowser shouted in annoyance.
"Mama Mia! What is going on!?" Luigi shouted, clinging to Mario's shoulder. Starlow felt something. Something out of the ordinary. Something otherworldly. Something Inter-dimensional.
"I sense a lot of energy rising, it's coming from over-" Her voice trailed off as when she looked over at the direction that energy was coming from, she saw the 8 Stones of what used to be a bracelet. One of the stones lit up, followed by the rest, one by one. They began to rise and in the centre of the circle where the stones circled, was a major gathering of energy that was unknown to everyone. Then there were major distortions in the centre. With a loud boom that knocked everyone off their feet, a wormhole was born. It rose into the air above them all and began to suck everything close by into it. Even Kamek got sucked in who was just trying to get up.
"What is happening?" Peach said with fear in her voice.
Then a large clown car came flying in with the Koopalings, seven siblings plus the royal heir to the Koopa Throne, Bowser Jr.
"Papa!" Bowser Jr. shouted to Bowser, "We're here to help and- WHAT THE SHELL IS THAT!?"
Bowser didn't even know, as he wondered he then saw as his minions tried running away only to get sucked into the wormhole.
"Help!" A Koopa shouted.
"Run for the hills!" A Goomba shouted.
"Take cover!" A Hammer Bro shouted trying to dive away. Then the Clown Car with the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. was starting to give away. Unable to take the strain anymore, the Clown Car was pulled into the wormhole.
"JUNIOR!" Bowser shouted as his son disappeared into the wormhole with his Koopalings. No one was safe, and Bowser realized that he wasn't either.
"No no no no!" He shouted, gripping his throne. He held on for as long as he could but he was losing his grip,
"Of course, that dumb bracelet only works when I screw up! Story of my life!" Bowser reflected in irony as his claws lost grip and was pulled in. He let out a roar as he was pulled in that trailed away as he entered the wormhole.
Mario could only watch as he saw Bowser disappear.
"Mario!" Princess Peach shouted as she was getting pulled in too. Mario tried to grab her hand but missed.
"Peach! No!" Mario shouted, and with that, Peach was gone. Leaving only Mario and Luigi against the wormhole.
"Stay strong Luigi!" He shouted to his brother.
"I can't resist any longer Mario!" He couldn't hold on as he was being pulled up. Mario, being ready this time, grabbed Luigi's hand with one arm and gripped a window bar with the other.
"Mario!" Shouted his Luigi filled to the brim with fear.
"We'll be fine! Hold on Luigi!" Starlow insured.
"I… Can't hold on much longer." Mario said, losing his grip on his brother. He couldn't go on and his hand opened. The world felt like it was in slow motion for Mario as his brother disappeared into the wormhole.
"LUIGI!" Mario shouted, but his mourning didn't last long because he now realized he was in trouble. Mario was trying to fight back the pull, Starlow tried to help Mario but they weren't enough. Mario felt his leg slip out from underneath him and he hit his head hard on the ground. He felt his head spinning, his vision went blurry and he couldn't move. The wormhole took him along with Starlow. Then the wormhole disappeared leaving nothing behind in Bowser's Castle.
Adventure Bay, a small town where there is never a dull moment. It's not exactly like Adventure City but it's a humble home for people who live here. Mayor Goodway, the mayor of this city, was outside admiring City Hall's Garden.
"I know I might have said this many times, but my Garden is magnificent." She looked to her chicken companion, Chickaletta, "Don't you think Chickaletta?"
Chickaletta simply clucked and went back to pecking the ground. Mayor Goodway smiled at her chicken, but her gaze was suddenly averted when a strange sound was heard above their heads. She looked up, as well as Chickaletta. The wormhole opened up and dropped something from it before disappearing. Goodway never saw anything like it but that thought was interrupted as something fell into her garden with a dull thud, causing her to jump out of being startled.
"My garden!" She shouted. It was then that Chickaletta walked over to what fell from the sky.
"Chickaletta! My darling, be careful," She said following her chicken friend, "You could get-" She immediately stopped once she saw what was there. She was confused. It was a man wearing red and blue overalls. This was Mario.
"Who is this? Hey! Are you alright?" She asked, but she didn't get an answer, "He might be hurt, we need help!" She pulled out her phone and made a call.
With the Paw Patrol, Ryder was driving the Paw Patroller back to Adventure Bay with his Pups in the back.
"I hope we can find some new members for the Paw Patrol in Adventure City." The Dalmatian named Marshall said to Ryder.
"I'm sure we will, Liberty won't be the only member there." Ryder assured, "Looking for new recruits will be the first thing to do when we get back to Adventure Bay."
"Getting back to Adventure Bay will be great," The German Shepherd Chase put in, "It's our home, and I wouldn't change it for anything."
"Yeah!" The rest of the pups agreed. Ryder smiled, he agreed with his pups too. A little more time passed and Ryder received a call. He pressed a button on the dashboard and answered the call.
"Ryder here." He greeted the caller. On the screen the pups could see Mayor Goodway.
"Ryder!" She said frantically, " Something happened here in Adventure Bay! A man just fell from the sky and landed in City Hall Garden, and he isn't waking up!"
The pups gasped in surprise. This was something new for them.
"Is he…?" Nervously asked Rubble the Bulldog.
"He's surprisingly breathing, but he might need some help! Are you almost back from Adventure City?" She asked hopefully.
"Don't worry, we are almost back-" Ryder was unable to finish that sentence before hearing a large boom on Mayor Goodways side. Mayor Goodways saw the wormhole appear again, this time by the Lookout, the main base of the Paw Patrol.
"What was that?!" Ryder asked, concerned.
"I don't know, I heard that same sound earlier when this man fell from the sky. This time it was by your Lookout!" Goodway explained.
"That might mean there is another person there!" Rocky, the mix breed, said.
"They'll need help too!" The Cockapoo named Skye said.
"Don't worry, Mayor Goodway!" Ryder assured the frantic Mayor, "We're on our way, we'll be there in about 5 minutes, No job is too big, no pup is too small." He hung up and addressed Chase,
"Chase, I need you to check out the Lookout and see if anyone is there."
"Chase is on the Case!" He acknowledged.
"Marshall." Ryder then addressed the Dalmatian next, "I need you and your EMT Gear to check this man for any injuries."
"I'm ready for a Ruff Ruff Rescue!" He said, knowing the seriousness of this all. He may be the funny one of the team but he knows when people need his help.
"Alright! Paw Patrol is on a Roll!" Ryder exclaimed. Howls were heard from the pups as Chase got into the spare Pup Police Cycle and was launched out of the Paw Patroller and began racing his way to the Lookout. Marshall got his EMT Gear on, ready to help this patient, whoever he was.
