As Ryder neared the Lookout in the Paw Patroller, he was baffled to see that Mario was already there, despite the fact that he was in a vehicle and he was just running there on foot. The Paw Patroller came to a stop and everyone got out. Mario reached the front of the Lookout and heard commotion inside. The doors slid open and Luigi came running out with his hands in front of him.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-" He finished with an oof as he ran into Mario causing them to both fall on their rears. Luigi shook his head, "Mama mia… I can't get a break can I?"

"That's not quite the greeting I was hoping for." Mario replied. Luigi, hearing his brother's voice, immediately darted to look at his brother. They stood there in silence as Luigi got up still staring.

"M-Mario?" He stuttered.

"Luigi?" Mario asked back.

"Mario!" Luigi said feeling like he was about to cry.

"Luigi!" Mario said. Then the brothers embraced each other in a brotherly hug. When Ryder and the Pups came from behind, they couldn't help but give an "aww" for them. Starlow reappeared out of Mario's pocket looking at Luigi,

"Luigi!" Starlow shouted at him, not in a kind way, "You need to learn to not freak out when you are in an uncomfortable situation."

Luigi put his hands in front of him to gesture for her to calm down before the three were all caught in a net. Luigi fell on his brother and they both struggled in the net. Chase came running out of the Lookout.

"Got you!" He shouted. Luigi yelped a bit and tried to get out of the net as did Mario. Starlow was small enough to fit through the net so she slipped out and floated up to Chase.

"What's the big idea!?" Starlow asked fuming.

"What are you!?" Chase demanded. Starlow wasn't having any of this nonsense.

"You answer my question! You're the one who threw that net at us!" Starlow battled back.

"Yeah? Well-"

"Chase! Stop!" Ryder pitched in stopping both of them from arguing. Mario managed to throw the net off of him and Luigi. Luigi got up and grabbed his brother's arm,

"C'mon Bro!" He said, pulling his brother's arm, "Let's get out of here!"

"Wait Luigi!" Mario told his brother, "This is all a big misunderstanding!"

Luigi stopped and looked at Mario,

"Misunderstanding?" He replied.

Mario nodded and looked at everyone else,

"Everyone, this is my brother Luigi. He was just a bit startled." Luigi stuttered a bit, he was confused, and even more hesitant when he saw more of those talking dogs.

"It's alright Weege," Mario reassured Luigi, "They are good. They are the heroes here and they help people. They even patched up my arm." He showed his brother his arm wrapped with a bandage.

Luigi then took a sigh of relief before waving hello,

"Hi," He started, sounding timid, "Sorry about that whole running away while screaming thing. I was startled. And thank you for helping my brother."

"You're welcome." Ryder told them, as Chase walked to his side, "My name is Ryder, you've already met Chase." He saw Luigi get a worried face when Chase looked at him, but was relieved again when his brother put his hand on his shoulder.

"My name is Rubble!" Rubble said posing heroically.

"I'm Zuma." Zuma introduced next.

"My name is Skye, Nice to meet you!" Skye said cheerfully.

"Mine's Rocky. "Rocky said next.

"Marshall is my name-" He said walking towards Luigi but he tripped over nothing once again and fell forward, face planting. Mario and Starlow both cringed at the fallen pup.

"Oh my! Are you alright?" Luigi asked. 'He reminds me of myself in a way…' He thought at the same moment. Marshall immediately got up, shook his head before saying,

"I'm okay!" He then continued forward, "You feeling alright Luigi? Nothing broken?"

Luigi was confused about the question, "No? I'm all good."

"We heard you fell from the sky like your brother did."

Luigi then understood and replied, "I've been through much worse falls than that."

Marshall laughed nervously, cause that's what Mario said too. Starlow then addressed Mario again,

"We need to get that cut of yours healed." She said as Mario lifted up his bandaged arm.

"It will take some time before it's healed," Marshall explained, "He needs to rest it."

"We don't have time to rest!" She shouted.

"I gotcha bro!" Luigi said, retrieving a Mushroom from his pocket and tossing it to his brother. The Mushroom was Red with white spots, almost resembling a toadstool. It even had eyes.

"Wait! Those are poisonous!" Marshall said, alarmed. Mario stopped mid-bite.

"No no…" Luigi said, "Poison Mushrooms are purple with Skull Spots and they would be forcefully trying to get you to eat them." This comet made everyone shutter at the thought of a Mushroom trying to force itself into their mouths. Mario continued to eat the Mushroom given by his brother and he held his arm up for everyone to see. He unwrapped his cut and everyone saw that the cut healed itself in 3 seconds.

"He is a Superhero." Rubble said in awe. Chase just sat there confused,

"I missed a lot did I?" He asked Ryder, who respond with,

"Yep, you did."

Mario knew that he would have to explain everything.

"Well he started," Looking to his brother, "Wanna help me explain the story?"

"Absolutely not! We-" Starlow objected but Luigi beat her,

"Sure thing."

Starlow sighed seeing there was no point of objecting any further.

"Gather around," Mario said, "This story is going to be one tall tale for you guys."

All the pups, plus Ryder all gathered around to tell their story.

In Adventure City Jail, Ex-Mayor Humdinger is serving out his sentence for the terrible attempts of Mayoring and many illegal acts he committed. He was alone. With his kitties being looked after by his bumbling underlings Butch and Rubin, he had no one to complain to aside the jail guard who would silence him.

"What did I ever do to deserve this?" He reflected, "I should be treated like a star! I would've gotten away with everything, but that Meddlesome Paw Patrol ruined it for me again!"

"Keep it down would ya?!" The cell guard said passing by, "I've heard enough of your profanity yesterday!" He walked away, as the Humdinger crossed his arms,

"You wouldn't say that to me if I was mayor…" He muttered under his breath, before looking at the roof of his dull cell, "Please let there be another chance for me! I need a miracle. Anything!"

As if answering his call, the wormhole appeared above the cell silently. Humdinger backed up against the wall startled.

"What is that?!" He asked.

"WAAAAH!" Three strange voices screamed falling out of the wormhole as it closed behind them. Humdinger looked at the two men before him. One was very obese, wearing Purple Overalls and a Yellow Shirt and Hat with the letter W on it. The other was very skinny and slender, he wore black overalls and a purple hat and shirt. On the hat was what looked like an upside-down L. Both men had thin mustaches and had large pearly teeth. The last figure was small and purple, wearing black and had bunny ears. He wore a bandana that depicted a large mouth. A brown sack had landed beside him too. There guys were the Wario Brothers, Wario and Waluigi, and the sneak thief Nabbit.

The three got up and clutched their heads.

"Wah!? Where are we?!" Wario said, looking around. Waluigi stood up and looked around too,

"Ehhhhh…. I don't know Wario." He answered his friend.

"This place looks so dull…" Nabbit pointed out.

"Wah… Something ain't right… Something screwy is happening!" Wario contemplated. He then looked around the room again, and this time noticing Humdinger.

"You!" Wario pointed at him.

Humdinger looked around, hoping he wasn't looking at him.

"Me?" He asked nervously.

"Yes you! Where are we!?" Wario demanded.

"Y-your in Adventure City Jail?" He responded.

"JAIL!?" Wario shouted dumbfounded.

"Will ya keep it down-"

"Why am I in jail!? I knew it! It's one of Mario's traps! He put us up to this! When I find him I'll stomp him and romp him senseless!"

"And I can't go back to jail! Not now! Not ever!" Nabbit said, running around in a panic.

"Relax Nabbit!" Wario said glaring at him, "Open your bag!"

"My bag?" Nabbit inquired.

"I know you keep something useful in that bag of yours so open it up!" Wario said, shaking is fist at him. Nabbit held his sack out as Wario dug through it. He then pulled out a Deactivated Bob-omb with a match.

"Your bag of convenience convenienced us well!" Wario stated, "No, let's break this jail!"

He lit the match and was about to light the fuse which once Humdinger caught on, his blood went cold.

"Wait!" Waluigi shouted, "I wanna light the fuse!" Wario looked at Waluigi dumbfounded.

"No! I light the fuse!" Wario argued.

"No fair! You always light the Bomb!" Waluigi shouted.

"Well you always throw the bomb, besides I'm the big guy so I do it!"

Waluigi reaches over and grabs the Bob-omb from Wario.

"But I am taller!" Waluigi teased.

Wario was fuming at the head. He drops the match curling his fingers into fists.

"Why you!" He tried charging with swinging fists at Waluigi who puts his hand out as Wario tries to tackle Waluigi while running into his hand. Humdinger just watched the ruckus un-amused by the situation. Just then the guard walked back,

"Did I tell you to keep it-" He trailed off to see two men fighting, men that didn't even belong in there. Wario and Waluigi were still bickering.

"What's going on in here!?" The guard asked. This caught the attention of the duo.

"Whoops…" Wario and Waluigi both said. Nabbit lost it!

"ENOUGH!" He shouted, grabbing the Bob-omb and lighting the fuse with a new match, "I'm doing this!" He punted the Bob-omb at the wall and then…

BOOM!

The wall was gone leaving a large hole in its place. The alarms were sounded as guards were dispatched to the cell.

"Let's get outta here!" Wario said, jumping out as Waluigi and Nabbit followed. Nabbit accidentally dropped an item as he left, leaving behind a Golden Warp Pipe. Humdinger looked at the thing.

"What is this? Where does it go?" He asked himself. He then heard the guards fumbling with the cell's lock. Humdinger knew he was going to be blamed for this mess so taking his chances with the pipe. He looked down into it. The cell door opened which made him flinch as he toppled into the pipe. The guards walked in and looked into the pipe. Pitch black. The pipe then sank into the floor without a trace. The guards looked puzzled at this. Where did Ex-Mayor Humdinger go? And who were those men? So many , yet the biggest question was,

"Should we tell someone about this?" The guard asked.

"And then we fell through a portal-like thing that dropped me from the sky and right here into Adventure Bay where I met all of you." Mario finished explaining.

Ryder and the Pups were mesmerised by the story of Mario and Luigi.

"Wow." Ryder said, trying to take it all in, "You sure come from one strange place."

"Oh the Mushroom Kingdom isn't the strangest place. There are so many places with many magical events that happen." Luigi added on. "And so many magical creatures like, Piranha Plants, Yoshi's and even my little buddy Polterpup."

"You have a pup too?" Skye asked Luigi.

"Yes," Luigi answered, "And he is the best one, he's helped me so many times on my journey through haunted houses."

"Then he must be like Zuma who 'isn't afraid of ghosts'." Rocky joked who then received a glare from Zuma.

"I mean, if Zuma can jump through walls then yes." Luigi said which put an end to Rocky's joking mood.

"Jump through walls?" Rocky asked, repeating the response.

"Yeah, cause Polterpup is-" As soon as Luigi said this, Polterpup jumped out of the floor, scaring the living daylights out of Zuma. Now left completely confused by Polterpup's entrance, the pups stared at him who then tilted his head at them.

"Hey, I saw you before." Chase then remembered, "My net didn't even catch him, it went through him."

"Of course it was genius," Starlow pointed out, "Not very effective at catching a ghost."

"Ghost?" Zuma said, still trembling from Polterpup's jumpscare.

"Yeah, Polterpup is a ghost." Luigi explained. This brought chills to the pups.

"How did he become a ghost?" Marshall asked Luigi. Luigi thought about it.

"I dunno…" He started, "Someone told me that Polterpup were spirits of dogs who were abandoned or who were lost in the Ghostly Woods."

Polterpup could see the pups were uneasy so he tried to show them what he could do by levitating in a spot, then did a triple backflip. Everyone 'woahed' at Polterpup's ability to do more flips than Skye could. He then jumped onto Luigi, licking his face.

"Aw, Polterpup! I'm fine." Luigi said, trying to get him off him. Polterpup then jumped and spun his tail to fly.

"Hey, it's a FAN-tom." Marshall said. Everyone laughed at Marshall's pun. Then all of sudden there was a boom and the ground shook. Everyone was now on alert.

"What was that?!" Chase said, looking around for the cause of the rumble. Another ground shaking boom was heard. Everyone followed the sound and they found the cause. Over by the town there was smoke and over the Bay the pups saw… A floating pirate ship?

"A Pirate Ship? Could it-" Rubble asked,

"No way dude," Zuma argued, "Sid isn't that good with pirate ships."

"Then who's ship is this?" Rocky asked. Mario didn't need to look at the black flag with a silhouetted face of a monster to know who it belonged to.

"We waited too long explaining!" Starlow shouted, "That Koopa is already causing trouble!"

"Koopa?" Ryder asked, "You mean-"

Another boom was made again. Which was enough for Starlow,

"Mario let's go, now!" Mario nodded and then began running back to the town.

"Wait up Mario!" He said but he slipped in the process over his feet and barrelled forwards onto his face.

"Ow… I'm good!" He said pulling himself up and continued after Mario.

'He's a little like me.' Marshall thought.

Ryder knew the situation at hand. He looked to his pups,

"Pups we have a mission. We have to help Mario!"

The pups looked at the town seeing the smoke a bit worried about what they were dealing with.

"Don't worry pups. Remember, No job is too big, no pup is too small!" He encouraged them. The pups smiled at this and howled in response.

"Paw Patrol, ready for action Ryder sir!" Chase said.

"That's the spirit! Now everyone gets their vehicles. Paw Patrol is on a roll!"

Everyone got into their vehicles and Ryder got on to his ATV. They then drove off to the chaos.
