Bowser's new castle was working well for him. He had to praise Kamek for using that strong spell. Bowser was now sitting on his new throne. His minions were guarding the doors to the throne room. There was a knocking at the door which got the Koopa King's attention.

"Who is it?" Bowser asked out loud.

"It's me, M'lord." Kamek called from the otherside of the door.

"Ah Kamek, let him in, boys." He ordered his Koopa Guards. They obeyed and opened the doors. Kamek then walks in and bows to Bowser.

"Your majesty." Kamek said, "Preparations are complete. All of those poochy creatures have been relocated. Your plan is in full swing."

"Excellent Kamek!" Bowser said, "By the way…"

Bowser's evil mood changed to a worried and caring face,

"Have you found Junior yet?"

Kamek shuffled, "No we haven't, your troops are looking for him as we speak. They haven't reported anything yet."

Bowser sighed, "Well, make sure they look for him in every nook and cranny of this new world."

"Of course my lord."

"And what about that kid we captured?"

"I have ordered some troops to take him to his captive quarters."

Ryder struggled against the grip of the Hammer Bros that led him through the halls of the castle. He tried to escape but they held onto him pretty good,

"Stop movin' well ya?!" One of the Hammer Bros said to him, "Or I'll knock some sense into ya, yo?!"

Ryder did see they had hammers so he stopped. There was nothing he could do but not show fear. He wouldn't give that to them. The evil koopas lead Ryder to a room which they unlocked with a key. They opened the door and shoved him inside.
Inside Princess Peach was sitting on the bed Bowser provided for her looking out the window when Ryder was pushed in. She noticed the boy and looked over. Ryder stumbled forward and fell. He caught himself before his face hit the floor and the Hammer Bros laughed at him.

"Make yourself at home kid, you'll be stayin' here for a while." The first Hammer Bro said.

"Yeah!" The other Hammer Bro said, "I'm sure your roommate will make you feel warm at home. Kamek will speak to you soon."

The Hammer Bros left the room and locked the door behind them. As they laughed snootily away. Ryder got up and sat up looking at the door. He was now trapped. Princess Peach realized he was just a kid which made her upset that Bowser would do such a thing. She got up and walked up to Ryder holding out her hand.

"My goodness, are you alright?" She said warmly. Ryder looked up at her and she took her hand and was hoisted up.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Ryder answered, "Where am I?"

"You are in that dastardly Koopa, Bowser's Castle." Peach explained, "This is the captive room."

Ryder looked around the room that was designed for the princess.

"You were captured too?" Ryder asked Peach. Princess Peach nodded,

"Yes. I am a target of interest for Bowser. Probably because I am the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom."

"Princess?" Ryder repeated and then remembered what Starlow said, "Wait, are you Princess Peach?"

"Yes, that is me." She answered, "How did you know?"

"Well-" Ryder started but then Kamek entered the room.

"Getting familiar with each other already?" He asked. Ryder looked at him angrily and he ran at him to which Kamek calmly pulled out his wall and hit with a spell that knocked him down,

"Stay down kid! Now are we going to talk like men or not?" He stood there, he readied another spell. Peach knelt down and helped Ryder up again.

"Please be more gentle with him!" Peach yelled at Kamek, "He's just a kid!"

"Sorry Princess, but Lord Bowser has given me permission to use force if I have to, no kid. My King discussed ideas for you and here's my pitch." He adjusted his glasses as he continued, "Or lord and savoir has offered you the deal of a lifetime. He saw that your technology was highly advanced. Those vehicles and tools you made for those little poochies of yours were very useful."

"What is your point?" Ryder looked at him, still angry.

"Lord Bowser wishes to put you to work making those little trinkets and doodads so you know who to make for Lorb Bowser."

"Why would I help him or you! You kidnapped me and my pups!" Ryder shot back.

"Yes yes. But I'm sure you would agree for the sake of your pups." Kamek said back.

"What do you mean?" Ryder said as his tone dropped to being concerned.

"You're little canines have been scattered throughout this island and are being Guarded by Lord Bowser 7 best fighters, the Koopalings. If you want to ensure that they don't do anything damaging or harmful to them, I would agree to that deal I just made." Kamek smiled sinsiterly at Ryder.

Ryder then realized this was a ransom. If he didn't listen to them, who knows what they'll do to his beloved pups. They could be hurt or worse. He wasn't going to take any chances.

"What do I have to do?" Ryder said, admitting defeat. Kamek's sinister grin became larger.

"Just make us your tech to better benefit the Koopa Kingdom."

"And if I do," Ryder added, "You won't hurt my pups?"

Kamek nodded,

"No harm shall come to your beloved ones, just as long as you make Lord Bowser happy."

Ryder had to play along for now until he had an escape plan. Which he did not have,

"It's a deal." Ryder said at last. Peach was mortified at his response, but she couldn't blame him, Bowser was known for doing this to his victims.

"Excellent," Kamek said, putting his fingers together, "Now come along to our Maker Ward. There you will teach us how you make these machines of yours."

Kamek opened the door and looked behind him,

"And don't try to escape. It won't end well… Same goes for you, Princess."

Princess Peach glared at him in response. Ryder followed behind Kamek and looked back at Peach for one last time, before exiting the room. Peach sat there angry at what just happened, She looked at her window with hopefulness.

"Oh Mario…" She said, "Please, if you are here too, please come save me quickly."

Bowser Jr. woke up in an unfamiliar place a while ago. He landed within a town. He was walking around to find out where he was and everyone was either staring at him or running away. Nobody has seen a Koopa before,

"Where the shell am i!?" He asked out loud. It was fortunate of him, he found his Clown Car in a nearby alley way. Slightly scratched up but it still worked. He flew above all the buildings to get a good look of where he was. He found he was in a Kingdom. This Kingdom was Barkingburg. Of course he had no idea what this place was,

"This is a kingdom?" Junior asked himself, "I wonder who runs this place."

He then stood up proudly in his Clown Car,

"Maybe Papa has taken over this place." He then went towards the castle that was separated from the rest of the town. When he got there he looked around the area.

"Ooh. This place is really fortified. More fortified than Peach's Castle." He joked. He took his Clown Car by the gates which began to open before Junior flew under the bridge to hide. He heard talking above him.

"Now Sweetie," an english speaking girl said, "We will be gone for a little bit. Don't do anything naughty while I am gone, understand?"

"Of course your majesty," Said another English voice, "I'll be on my best behavior."

Bowser Jr. peeked from the side of the bridge and saw three figures. One was a little girl resembling a princess, one was an old looking man, and the last one was a dog.

"Your majesty? Are you sure about this?" The old man looked at the princess then looked over at the dog.

"We will only be gone for a little while. We'll be back soon Sweetie." The princess said to her pup. Sweetie waved goodbye with innocence. Once the two humans were gone her innocent face turned sinister.

"Now that they're gone, I am in charge of the castle. I can do whatever I want." Sweetie contemplated many things she could do while her owner was gone.

"Cool" Bowser Jr.'s voices shouted, making Sweetie jump in the air, "You get to watch to be a Queen now!"

"Who are you!?" Sweetie demanded. Bowser Jr. flew his clown car up so Sweetie could fully see him.

"Ooh!" Bowser Jr. said not paying attention, "Look at this place!" He entered the Barkingburg Palace. Sweetie, still freaked out, followed after him.

"Hey you can't be in-" Sweetie began, but Bowser Jr was not listening still.

"You guys have armor?! Maybe I should suggest that to my papa!"

"Listen! Stop-" Sweetie was interrupted again.

"Look at all the rooms in here!" Junior shouted. This alerted the butler into the room, and he saw the Koopa Prince flying around in his Clown Car. He was confused and then immediately looked at Sweetie.

"This isn't what it looks like. He just showed up!" Sweetie defended herself.

"Hmm." The butler looked at her, "I think we better call-" He was then hit in the head with a hammer by Junior and was knocked out.

"Your butler isn't that strong." Bowser Jr. realized. Sweetie was losing her patience. She decided to pretend to be the queen to get his attention.

"Listen to me! I am the Queen of Barkingburg and-" This attempt didn't work as Junior began talking again,

"This castle is huge, but it's smaller than papa's."

"Hey! I'm talking to-" She froze, "What did you say?" Bowser Jr. heard this time and turned around. When he actually got a good look at Sweetie, he stared for a while. She was white as snow. Bowser Jr. felt everything getting hot.

"M-my dad's castle is a lot bigger than this place." Junior explained, stuttering a bit.

"Wait so your-"

"Oh yeah! I didn't introduce myself. I am the Koopa Prince! Prince Bowser Koopa Jr. the Second!" Bowser Jr. pumped his chest in pride. Sweetie, now knowing who he was talking too, decided to ask more questions,

"Are you well respected in your kingdom?"

"Of course!" He answered, "And if I am not, I'll cream them! Or papa will."

"Do you get whatever you want?"

"Yeah! I get everything. All the greatest toys, food, and even deadly machines to fight our enemies the Mario Brothers."

Sweetie took it in, 'How come I don't get treated like that?' She thought to herself.

"Sweetie was it?" Junior inquired, "You say you're the queen?"

"What- I mean," Sweetie stuttered, "Yes, yes I am."

"Wow, you have this whole kingdom bowing to you! I can't wait until I am king of papa's kingdom!"

Sweetie looked around the castle. He liked the sound of this newcomer's kingdom. Perhaps she could have it better over there than here.

"Hey could I-" She then saw Bowser Jr. was looking at the crown.

"Is this your crown?" He said reach for it. Sweetie went cold. Ever since her last endeavor with the crown, the Princess of Barkingburg had put up a sensitive security system to ensure she wouldn't take it.

"Wait!" She shouted but it was already too late. Junior touched the crown and the security alarm blared.

"My ears!" Bowser Jr. shouted holding his head and his Clown Car showed a face of discomfort to the alarm. Sweetie was in a panic trying to stay calm.

"Do something!" Junior shouted.

"Me?!" Sweetie asked, "What do I do?!

"It's your security system! Turn it off!" Bowser Jr. pointed out.

"I can't!"

"Why not?!"

"Well-"

"SWEETIE!" A voice called out from behind them. Sweetie slowly turned around and saw the Princess and the Earl standing behind them looking furious.

"Your majesty…" Sweetie said nervously, " I swear, this isn't what it looks like!"

"I should've known you would've tried this." The Earl said, "Where's the crown?!"

Sweetie turned around to say it was there but it was gone.

"What-" She started and realized that Bowser Jr. had his head stuck into it.

"Turn it off!" His voice came out as his Clown Car made another uncomfortable face.

"Sweetie? Who is that?" The Princess asked, "And he has my crown!"

Bowser Jr. heard this and took his head out and held in his hands and looked at the princess.

"Your crown?!" He started, "Haha, funny! You must be some kind of assistant or something, because Sweetie over here is the Queen!"

"I guess Sweetie has been putting wrong thoughts into your head!" The Earl told Junior. "Our Princess over here is the next Ruler of Barkingburg, not Sweetie."

Bowser Jr. caught on and slowly turn to Sweetie,

"You're not a Queen!?" Bowser Jr. said in shock. Sweetie only gave a nervous smile. Junior felt complete shattered by this and held the crown and looked back at Sweetie,

"Well quite personally, I think you'd look better in this than she would." Bowser Jr. stated. The Princess was taken aback by that comment and the Earl scoffed at him.

"How dare you insult her Royalness!" The Earl angrily shouted,

"Ugh," Bowser Jr. groaned, "You sound like Kamek! Annoying!"

"Return the crown at once!" The Princess ordered, but Junior taunted her by sticking his tongue at her, his Clown Car did the same,

"Make me oh royal one!" Junior laughed. The Princess retaliated by pulling out a remote and pressing a button,

"I'm glad I asked Ryder to make this trap."

"What trap?" Then Junior was then hit in the head by the roof of a hidden cage and fell down with a crash. His Clown Car was now knocked out, and with that Junior was furious.

"No fair!" He whined, "You were supposed to let me go! And I'm not a caged animal! Let me out!"

"Return the crown then!" The Earl objected.

"Fat chance of that happening ya old geezer!" Junior continued to shout profanities. Sweetie was about to say something before there was muffled shouting.

"Koopa Kingdom Squadron, OPEN UP!" There was then a large crash in the window and a group of Fire Bros, Koopas and Parakoopa's jumped in. While a group of Goombas and Chargin' Chucks came barging through the door. The Earl and Princess were startled by this sudden attack from all around. Then a Black Shelled Hammer Bro jumped down last.

"Alright boys!" He called, "Cease em!"

The Goomba's circled the Princess and the Earl. The Princess reacted quickly and kicked one of the Goombas in the face, knocking him out.

"No Charlie!" One of Goombas shouted, "You'll pay for that!"

The Chucks reacted next and one of them grabbed the Princess and held her tight with both hands.

"Hey! Put me down!" The Princess demanded and tried to kick him off. However, Chuck's padded shell protected him and he laughed sinisterly.

"Princess- WHOA!" The Earl tried to help but the Fire Bros held out fireballs to him.

"Back up old man!" One of the Bros said,

"Yeah or we'll roast ya!" The other one said. The Earl stopped as he looked at the fire. He quickly reached for his phone.

"We need help from the Paw Patrol-"

"Put 'em up pops!" Another bros shouted, stopping his progress. The Earl quickly listened and put his hands up and a Chuck took it. He laughed and he crushed the phone in his hands and dropped it. Then Sweetie was also grabbed by a Chargin' Chuck in his fist but she quickly acted fast and bit him on the hand causing him to shout in pain, flinch and drop her. However the sheer number of enemies had her surrounded. The Fire Bros were about to torch her for that before,

"STOP!" Junior shouted. The enemies then look to see their Prince was in a cage.

"Your majesty!" The Black Hammer Bro said surprised, "What are you doing in there?!"

"Oh I just felt like being in a cage…" Bowser Jr. depannily said,

"Really?" One of the Goombas asked.

"NO YOU DUMMIES! I was captured! Get me out!" Bowser Jr. scolded.

"Open the cage, one of you!" A Koopa demanded. The Princess then got the remote taken out of her hand and the other Chuck pressed the release button. Bowser Jr., dragging his Clown Car, got out of the cage. He snapped his fingers by the Clown Car waking it up as it began to fly again. He hopped back in and flew up.

"Prince Bowser Koopa Jr, we found you. Your father will be quite happy to hear about this. Ain't that right boys?" The Black Hammer Bro asked his squad. They all nodded and hummed in agreement.

"Thanks for the save, not that I needed it." Junior said to his subjects, "What are you doing here? How did you dummies find me?"

"We were originally here to capture this Kingdom that caught your father's eye, so we came here to capture it. It was actually super easy since there were no guards here. Your father wanted to find you so we were also on the lookout for you and here we are." The Black Hammer Bro explained.

"Oh." Bowser Jr. acknowledged.

"We better bring you back home to Lord Bowser. As for these three, we'll make them pay for capturing you."

"NO!" Sweetie shouted, causing everyone to stare at her.

"No? Well we better teach you some manners!" The Black Hammer Bro gestured to the Chargin' Chucks who walked up to her pounding their fists. Sweetie backed up scared.

"HOLD ON!" Junior shouted again. The Chucks stopped. Sweetie looked at Junior.

"What is it, your Majesty?" The Black Hammer Bro asked. Bowser Jr. stared at Sweetie before hovering over to her. Sweetie thought she was in deep trouble for lying to him, but Junior surprised her by saying,

"This place hasn't been fair to you, hasn't it?"

"Well…" Sweetie's voice trailed and then Junior jumped out of his Clown Car landing beside her.

"This place doesn't make you feel royal doesn't it? By the way these guys talk to you makes me think they don't care do they?" Junior asked next.

Sweetie stayed silent for a minute. Junior was desperate to try to get her on their side, so he pressed on.

"I can sense you are a sneaky one. How about this? Join the Koopa Kingdom and I'll make you feel like a Princess, no, a Queen! Just like you want."

Sweetie lit up at that. Bowser Jr. put his hand around her shoulder,

"We'll be unstoppable. And once we stop Papa's enemies, the Mario Bros, we will have whatever we want!"

Sweetie thought about it. Whatever we want played in her head over and over again. She contemplated it. Being on a throne, having people kneel to her and respecting her, never having to eat kibble again. She saw this as a perfect way to escape her old ways of living.

"So what do ya say?" Bowser Jr. asked, "You wanna join me- I mean, The Koopa Kingdom and be my- rr, a Queen?"

"Hmm…" Sweetie pondered and she looked over at the Princess, "I will be under one condition…"

"Anything for you- I mean anything of course!" Bowser Jr. said flustered.

"Don't hurt the Princess. She doesn't deserve to get hurt." She said sympathetically.

"What about the old geezer?" A Fire Bro asked.

"Oh do what you want with him." Sweetie dismissed.

"Deal!" Bowser Jr. said, "Alright uh…" He looked over at the Black Hammer Bro,

"It's Elite Bro your majesty." He introduced himself.

"Alright Elite Bro, don't harm the Princess of this castle. Keep her captured but keep her safe from harm."

The squad looked confused at this request.

"You heard the Prince! "Elite Bro shouted, "No harm shall come to that Princess."

They all saluted and understood their mission.

"I should be taking you back to your father now, my prince!" Elite Bro suggested.

"I don't need you to take me back to my papa! I am a big Koopa and I can do it myself…" Junior paused, "But lead the way please!"

"As you wish, my prince." Elite Bro obeyed, "As for the rest of you, set up a perimeter and capture this castle, I'll ask Lord Bowser to send a bigger army to capture this Kingdom."

"You got it Elite Bro sir!" The squad shouted.

"C'mon Sweetie, my papa's castle awaits,'' Junior said, hopping back into his Clown Car. Sweetie looked back at the Princess again. While she did feel guilty, she was safe and that's all that matters. Sweetie hopped up with Junior.

"This floating thing is strange." Sweetie said. The Clown Car huffed at that comment.

"It's all right, she didn't mean it like that." Junior said, patting his vehicle.

Elite Bro jumped back onto the Airship that was hovering outside. The Barkingburg Castle flags were being taken down and being replaced by Bowser Kingdom flags. Bowser Jr. followed behind with Sweetie. After they left, the Princess was devastated. Her Sweetie gave up her life to go live somewhere else, and left her in the hands of some kind of evil Kingdom. She didn't know what to think. She just hoped that somebody would make this right.

After going through that golden pipe, Humdinger found himself outside of a castle's gates. He was shot out of the pipe and landed on his rear. He looked around his surroundings,

"Where did that pipe take me?" He asked himself and he looked at the large castle, "Whoever this castle belongs to has got style." He thought for a minute of what to do next, he heard rattling of bones. He looked around and dove into a shrub. He then realized too late he landed in a sleeping Fuzzy that was prickly.

"Yeow-" He then quickly stifled his pain as he looked over to see some Dry Bones walking towards the gates. They rattled their jaws to signal a gate keeping Koopa open, letting them in. Humdinger could see a way of getting in. When the Gatekeeper wasn't looking he slipped in before he closed the gates. Now surveying his surroundings he saw this castle was far more bigger and good looking than his lair in Foggy Bottom.

"Say this layer is amazing, I didn't even know this place existed. If I find the guy that owns this place I'll-" Humdingers self talk was so distracting to himself that he stepped on something,

"YEOWCH!" A voice screamed from under him. Humdinger looked down to see he had stepped on a Goomba.

"Oops." He said, "Sorry about that, there's also no need to tell anybody I'm here and-"

"Intruder alert!" The squashed Goomba shouted, "It's a guy that looks like a Discount Mario Brother!"

Humdinger stomped on him to silence him but it was too late. Dry Bones have run to the scene. They shouted profanities in rattles at this intruder. Humdinger as a defense, swung his hand knocking the head of one of the Dry Bones off. It clattered as it hit the ground. He thought he hadthem until the head came flying back to its body reattaching itself. He chuckled nervously at this and was then hoisted up by the Dry Bones.

"Hey put me down!" Humdinger demanded but the Dry Bones were only infuriated.

"*Rattle rattle* (What do we do with the Discount Mario?)" A Dry Bones rattled.

"*Rattle! (Take him to the Boss!)" Another suggested. They all agreed and started carrying their capture to the throne room. This was quite ironic for Humdinger. He had escaped jail only to be caught by a bunch of skeletons.

Meanwhile the Mario Brothers, now accompanied by Chase and Marshall, were now making their way to the Lookout in a hurry. After that little fiasco that happened at City Hall, they had no time to lose. However their progress may be halted, because Marshall tripped over something.

"Whoa!" He said as tumbled forward.

"Oh come on!" Starlow fumed, "Can you get you anywhere without getting bashed up by something?!"

"It wasn't my fault I swear!" He swore, "I tripped over this… hole."

Mario looked around and noticed the holes made. They looked like something just jumped out of it. Mario knew of one enemy who could do this.

"Monty Moles." Mario said.

"Huh?" Both Chase and Marshall said together.

"Little moles that'll pop out of nowhere." Mario explained.

"Look over there!" Marshall pointed. Mario looked and saw a Group of Monty Moles and Shy Guys walking out of the Lookout. Not only that they were carrying lots of their tech with them too.

"Hey!" Chase shouted at the thieves. A Black Suited Shy Guy see them and panics and rushes his crew,

"Hurry hurry!" He shouted, "Grab what you can and get to the pipe!"

The other Shy Guys and Monty Mole's moved in double time. He then pointed to 3 other Shy Guys,

"You two stay here and help me pummel these guys!"

They both ran beside him.

"Looks like we'll have to fight these Shy Guys!" Starlow stated the obvious,

"Ready to go pups?" Mario asked Chase and Marshall, to which they both responded,

"Yeah!"

"But they don't know how to fight!" Starlow pointed out.

"Then let's teach them how we do it bro!" Mario said to Luigi,

"Okay… but can't we solve this without having to fight?" Luigi asked.

"Nice try Luigi," Starlow said, "You chickened out on Petey Piranha now help us fight and teach!"

Luigi worryingly groaned, "Alright."

The brothers stepped into battle,

"When dealing with these Shy Guys, beating them is easy. It's as simple as jumping in their heads." Mario demonstrated by jumping on the Shy Guy on the right, flattening him, "Give it a try! Just jump up and give it a shot!"

Chase bravely volunteered and jumped into battle too. He jumped on the Shy Guy on the left. It didn't phase the Guy that much but Marshall joined in and helped finish him off. The Black Shy Guy remained. He began to swiftly move in and karate chopped Luigi in the nose.

"YEOWIE!" Luigi shouted, clutching his poor schnoz. Mario tried to hit him but missed as the Black Shy Guy dodged and jumped off of Mario's face.

"Oof!" Mario managed to muster as he fell on his rear.

"You'll never touch me, Mario Bros!" The Shy Guy taunted, "I'm too fast! You can't catch me!" He continued to taunt but was then enveloped by a net from Chase.

"But I can!" Chase corrected the Guy. He wasn't laughing now as Mario finished the job by jumping on the Black Shy Guy while he was pinned down. The guy was squashed and defeated. The team celebrated their victory,

"You did it, Mario and Chase!" Marshall said,

"We all did it!" Chase corrected him. Mario liked Chase's style in battle. It reminded him of himself.

"Don't celebrate just yet!" Starlow ended the victory party as she gestured over to the last Shy Guy leaving with one last spare Pup Pack that belonged to Rubble. It panicked and ran, "They're getting away!"

"They must know where Bowser is! Let's-a-get after them!" Mario then ran after them being trailed by his team. They chased the guy all the way to a Green Pipe to which he jumped up to the mouth of it and entered.

"He went down that Warp Pipe!" Luigi called out.

"A warp pipe?" Marshall asked,

"It's an efficient way of how we get around back home." Mario explained

Arrow then added, "If they were using warp pipes, meaning Kamek must've implanted this here using magic. If we follow those thieves through the pipe…"

"They'll lead us straight to Bowser!" Mario finished.

"Is it safe to use?" Marshall questioned,

"It must be if they use it." Chase assured his friend.

"We may not know where it leads, but if those thieving Moles and Guys were taking it to escape it must lead to somewhere important." Mario stated.

"What if it's somewhere littered with enemies and traps… or worse… bottomless pits!" Luigi worried.

"It all right Weege!" Mario knifed his brother and took him by the hand, "We got this! Let's-a-go!"

Luigi yelped as he was pulled down the pipe with his brother. Chase and Marshall climbed up to the pipe and looked down.

"It looks pretty dark down there…" Chase observed.

"Then I should get a…" Marshall's paw slipped and he fell backwards into the pipe, "-FLASHLIIIGHT!"

"Marshall! Wait up!" Chase shouted as he jumped in. Starlow was last,

"Why do I get the feeling this is going to be a long journey?" She said to herself as she entered the pipe.
