Katherine was sitting in the back seat of a heavily tinted SUV with her ex-boyfriend beside her. Brody was driving. Buddy was in the passenger seat. He had thrown a few trash bags into the trunk. Katherine didn't know what was in them yet, but wondering about that was better than wondering about what was going to happen to her when they reached where ever Malakai was calling home now. She kept her face towards the window, refusing to look into the direction of any of them. It was also slightly comforting to see the stars. Since she moved into the city the light pollution had blocked everything out. It's one thing she really missed. The farther they drove from a larger population was filling her with dread, but seeing the stars splattered across the dark sky was able to give her some sort of peace. She wasn't interrupted while trying to pick out constellations. The ride was silent. No one spoke. No music was playing. The only signs of life were the noises of Malakai shifting on the leather sears every so often. And the light from his phone whenever he checked it.

What seemed like hours later, and several miles driving on nothing but a gravel path through dense trees, they pulled up to a building. It was far from what she expected due to the location, but more of what she would have expected out of him. It was a large rectangular modern looking building. Very out of place for where it stood. Much more suited to Malakai's taste. She got a better look at it as Buddy came around to open her car door and help her out by holding onto her upper arm. She tried to pull her arm free, but he held on tightly.

"You can let her go," Malakai said surprising them both. "There's at least five miles of trees in every direction. It'll be pitch black for the next eight hours. If she wants to take off, let her. Whatever happens to her out there will be on her."

Katherine gulped. There was no emotion in his voice, and she could tell he wasn't joking. He did go to a lot of trouble to find her, but he also wasn't afraid if she ran off right now. He knew well that she would just end up lost, probably hurt, and definitely scared, and he would just leave her wander around thirsty for a few hours before sending out to retrieve her just to teach her a lesson. She stopped struggling and allowed Buddy to walk her into the house while Brody grabbed the trash bags. Once inside the house, Katherine couldn't help but look around. The entry was a pretty open floor plan. It opened into the living room area that flowed into the kitchen. The steps were across the way, and off of the stairs there was a hallway with some other rooms down there. The walls were white. The counters, cabinets, and tables were all black. The couches were grey. Looking around that seemed to be the color scheme of the house. And she could tell that every piece of art up on the walls or sculptures that she saw were hand picked by Malakai.

"You can put her things in my room," He instructed Brody.

Brody nodded and walked over to the stairs. The high ceilings and balcony hallway upstairs allowed her to see that there were multiple rooms upstairs. She assumed that's where all of their bedrooms would be. But she couldn't help but wonder what was in the rooms downstairs. The lights in that hallway were off, almost as if they were blocked off from the rest of the house. A few loud clicks from behind her snapped her back into the moment. She looked back to the front door and saw Buddy using a series of keys on multiple locks.

"Couldn't be too careful with you now could we?" Malakai smiled softly as he noticed where her attention went. "Just got new cameras set up all around the outside too. Just for you my little lamb."

"Why? Why would you go through all that trouble? Obviously I don't want to be with you anymore and I'm just going to leave again."

"No you won't." He stated very matter-of-factly.

"Why am I even here? Did you just need someone to cook and clean up after you?" Katherine asked getting more hysterical.

"No I have someone for that," He answered, still as calm as ever. "Hm, although I may not need them anymore with you back. Especially if you're offering. I may need to think about that. Buddy, put that on the list later of things to discuss at the next meeting."

Buddy nodded, even though Malakai couldn't see it. He hadn't turned his attention away from Katherine.

"Then what the hell do you want with me? I'm sure it's not a problem getting laid. Charles Manson has people obsessed and lining up to try and sleep with him. I'm sure you have a ton of psycho girls after you too."

Malakai smirked as he took a step towards her. Followed by another. Katherine stepped back and they continued a few more moments until he reached out latching his large hand around her neck. He held her tight enough to pull her close to him, bringing her face near hers. The smile that played across his lips was devilish as the light from the kitchen behind her reflected off of his lip ring. She grabbed onto his wrist as she struggled for breath, but knew that she wasn't getting out of his grip until he was ready to let her go.

"Oh Katie, there have been plenty. I've taken many poor lost sheep and converted them to the House of Black. Giving them a home. And they're ready to serve their savior in any way he needs. They're very faithful to their leader." He brought his lips down close to her ear, so he could speak into her ear without anyone else hearing what he said next. "But you my little lamb, your sweet little pussy can grip around my cock like no one else ever could. It'd be a lie to say I haven't missed it."

"Everything okay boss?" Buddy said from behind them.

Malakai stepped away and slowly loosened the hold he had on her throat before letting go. Katherine inhaled as deeply as she could as he briefly turned to his friend.

"Nah. You go off and do whatever it is you have to do. Katherine and I have a few things that we need to discuss and catch up on."
