For the first time in ages, Yelena was scared. She knew someone was after Kate and the thought of anything bad happening to Kate made her fearful. Sitting on Kate's small couch, Yelena couldn't help but stare at her, making sure nothing bad was happening.
Feeling Kate's hand reach for her own, the warmth made her feel a little more relaxed.
"It's late, let's go to bed," Kate said, yawning as she pulled them both to their feet.
Cuddling into Kate's side, Yelena felt Kate press a kiss to her head, letting her know everything was going to be okay.
