Barnacles:(Wakes up in the middle of the night and walks through the hallways)

???:(sobs)

Barnacles:(Walks into the launch bay and sees Tweak sitting on the edge of the pool)

Tweak:(Sobs while reading a letter)

Barnacles:Tweak?

Tweak:(Looks up startled and sees barnacles) Cap! What are you doing here?

Barnacles:I just heard a noise and...(Looks at Tweak as she wipes her tears) Are you alright Tweak?

Tweak:Yeah, I...I'm fine.

Barnacles:Tweak? You've been acting strange lately, are you sure your alright?

Tweak:(Tears up) No...I'm not!(Breaks down and leans on Barnacles shoulder)

Barnacles:(Surprised, but hugs Tweak) Tweak, what happened?

Tweak:(Wipes her tears and takes a deep breath) This morning, when everyone was getting their mail, I got a letter from my dads ranger station.

Barnacles:Your dad wrote to you? I thought you would be happy to get a letter from him.

Tweak:I usually would be, but it this letter was from my mom, about my dad.

Barnacles:(Confused) Is everything alright?

Tweak:(Bites her lip, clearly fighting back tears, gets off of Barnacles and gives the letter to him)

Barnacles:(Looks at Tweak in confusion as he takes the letter and reads it in his head)

Tweak:(Puts her head in her hands and starts to cry under her breath)

Barnacles:(Shocked by what he read) Tweak...I'm so sorry, Ranger Marsh was a good man.

Tweak:It's alright, I just can't believe he's actually gone.

Barnacles:Tweak... (Puts his hand on Tweak's shoulder) I am so sorry about your dad, but you're not alone in this. You're mother and your family are still with you.

Tweak:And what about when they're all gone?

Barnacles:That is still long from happening, but then you will have all of your friends.

Tweak:And what if I lose all my friends, too?

Barnacles:Well, I'm not going anywhere, you'll never lose me.

Tweak:(Looks at Barnacles with a smile)

Barnacles:(Pulls Tweak in for a hug)

Tweak:(Reaches out and kisses Barnacles on the lips)

Barnacles:(Surprised, but stays still)

Door opens

Tweak:(Breaks the kiss and pushes Barnacles away)

Kwazii:Hello?

Barnacles:Kwazii?

Kwazii:Oh, hey captain, hey Tweak.

Tweak:Hey Kwazii.

Barnacles:(Looks at Tweak and sees she is nervous) What are you doing here Kwazii?

Kwazii:Oh, I was just headed to the kitchen and thought I heard talking.

Barnacles:Yes, that was just us.

Kwazii:Alright. Well, 'night you two.

Barnacles:Goodnight.

Tweak:'Night.

Door closes

Barnacles:(Watches Kwazii leave and then looks at Tweak) Tweak...I-

Tweak:I'm sorry.

Barnacles:What? Why are you sorry?

Tweak:(Looks at Barnacles) I kissed you, on the lips.

Barnacles:Yes, I know.

Tweak:You're...you're not mad?

Barnacles:(Confused) No, why would I be?

Tweak: Because it's not right. You are the captain and I am just the mechanic. I shouldn't have feelings for you.

Barnacles:So you are saying we should not have feelings for each other because of our crew positions?

Tweak:That kiss was uncalled for, I shouldn't have done it, but I do have feelings for you, and I understand if you don't feel the same.

Barnacles:(Smiles and chuckles a bit)

Tweak:(Confused) What?

Barnacles:Nothing, it's just funny.

Tweak:(Puzzled as to what he could have meant)

Barnacles:What I mean is, it's funny because, I actually feel the same way about you, and I have for, a long time actually.

Tweak:R-Really? (She said while pulling her hair back)

Barnacles:Yes (He said as he put his paw on Tweak's)

Tweak:Same (She said as she inched closer to him)

Barnacles:(Pulls Tweak in and kisses her on the lips)

Tweak:(Breaks the kiss) Can we not tell the others just yet?

Barnacles:Why?

Tweak:I'm just not that confident with telling our friends, or anyone really.

Barnacles:(Smiles) Of course, I won't tell anyone until you're ready for anyone else to know.

Tweak:Thanks, hun (Puts her head on his shoulder).
