So, I kinda enjoy writing this a lot, one of the few stories I look forward to posting, and without a beta, I miss a lot of things, so if anyone is interested hit me up. Side note, thanks to Mr Miliardo for sticking around and constantly giving me advice to improve this story. I will say this, nearly every time you message me, I have to look up the definition of at least one thing, you have a very extensive vocabulary

Chapter 5

Playtime.

Yuuta P.O.V

We all stood staring at the god as he grinned sinisterly.

We had just recovered from a euphoric high from fighting that poor plant beast, and he is acting like he's the major antagonist. I know he told me he was on our side, but I couldn't help but shiver under his gaze.

He took in our dusty forms. "I should fix that." He snapped his fingers and I felt the grime from that battle melt off me, and quickly check the girls, learning that they were cleaned as well.

"With that out the way, let's go shall we?" He asked extending a hand towards us, when no one moved he sighed. "I'll explain the next test, if I do that, will you come if it's reasonable?"

We all moved closer together and formed a huddle.

"Master, I'm not sure how much we should trust him," Dekomori said in a stage whisper. "We know nothing of his intentions"

"Yes, it is indeed odd, we know nothing about this fellow or his motives" Rikka replied with a small nod.

"Is it necessary to be in this huddle?" Nibutani asked. "Couldn't we just move away or create some kind of wall between us?"

"But huddles are warm and...nice for...naps. *snore*" Kumin managed to say before passing out, leaning heavily on Nibutani.

"I say we trust him" I spoke up, drawing some odd looks, "I spoke with him for a bit and he doesn't seem like a bad guy, just...strange. Besides he has shown himself to be a highly capable mage, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to try and recruit him"

"I see you make a good point, Dark Flame Master," Rikka replied.

We broke the huddle after a few more moments of discussion(and waking Kumin up) before Rikka stood proudly(eye now covered again) and faced Hisoki. "We agree to your terms, what is it you wish of us?"

"Think of it as...combat training," He said, losing that evil air around him. "Almost like a game of tag in a way, you try to attack me, and if I get hit directly 3 times, you win, but if I hit one of you with a clean hit, you're out for the rest of the fight"

"So dodge ball but with fighting and slightly different rules?" Kumin asked.

"N- wait, yeah you nailed it actually" He seemed startled for a few moments before regaining his composure. "Anyway, do you agree?"

Rikka glanced over at us before nodding. "We will win this little match of ours."

I really wish I could tell them that he's a god. It would be sobering to know that someone right next to us could think about us dying and likely make it happen.

Before I could enter panic mode, he raised a hand and a shroud of smoke enveloped us, and when it cleared, we were in the club room.

"Into the overlap. Reality is rejected-" Rikka said as everyone started to pose, but once again, he twisted a ring on his finger and the Overlap was activated.

Dekomori was once again in her golden armor, Rikka wearing her poofy dress, Kumin was wearing PJs, and Nibutani was wearing a nun's outfit.

Of course, I had been placed within the traditional garb of- *Smack!* I need to avoid talking so weird, I'm going to smack myself every time I speak like that. I was wearing my Dark Flame Master clothes.

This time, Hisoki had donned a new outfit. Unlike his normal school uniform or sweaters, he wore what seemed to be almost greek style armor.

He ditched the plumed helmet and instead of a skirt he had regular pants with plates of metal here and there to guard his lower body. He had a wavey blade strapped to his back.

I think that's a...kris blade?

"Alright, let's do this!" Hisoki exclaimed excitedly. "Now feel free to try anything, I won't be caught off guard"

I quickly turned to everyone to form a strategy, we had to have a solid plan that would let us land hits without losing too many of our numbers.

"Alright guy, we need a plan- where is Dekomori?" I asked as I frantically searched for the small blonde girl. She really couldn't-

"She is right there" Rikka whispered to me nodding her head behind our opponent. "Don't worry, she is the strongest of us physically."

"Lunatic Slammer!" Dekomori yelled as her hammer grew larger and glowed a golden color. She had managed to sneak behind him, without any of us noticing!

Hisoki's hand shot out behind his head and caught the hammer easily with his hand nearly bending whatever it was made of under his grip.

"Impossible!" Dekomori shouted.

"Oblivion's Introduction," and eerie black energy surged from his palm and shattered her hammer easily. "I don't play by normal rules, but that was a good try"

She fell slowly, in shock that her prized hammer had been destroyed so easily, and Hisoki flicked her in the forehead causing her to shoot back and fly into the far distance of the Overlap.

"Well, that's one down," He stated.

"Your power level is 3000!?" Rikka exclaimed. I glanced at her. His power level is what?

"Sorry, I'm on an off day" He chuckled. "I wanted this fight to be a tad fair for you"

"HIGH YAH" Nibutani yelled as she rushed forward and smacked Hisoki with her massive weapons. Needless to say, it wasn't very effective. He didn't seem phased at all.

"Hmm, try again but this time use both and do an overhead smash," He said to her.

She growled and pulled the weapons back, this time not going for his advice and going ham on him with a round of melee attacks, which he blocked every hit like it was child's play.

"Oblivion's introduction"

Same as the previous hammer, both weapons shattered. Hisoki then shot another spell I hadn't seen him use before. "Fallen Revenge!"

This time his palm flashed silver, skeletal hands shot out of the ground, grabbed her, pulled her to the ground, and held her in place. He walked over to her and tried to boop her on the nose, but then Faries flooded out of nowhere and started to swarm him.

"PROTECT MORI SUMMER!" One of the yelled bravely as they swarmed him, creating a small tornado of small bodies around him and sending off a bunch of different spells.

"Ouch! That heaven weapon hurt!" He exclaimed before raising his now glowing blue palm into the air. "Balance Remover!" All the faires hit the ground after that. And He walked over to Nibutani and pinched her nose. "Your faires were quite the nuisance, if this was a real fight I would have killed your little friends. Two down, three to go."

Suddenly a Pink blur shot into my view. There was a tall boy, with bright pink hair, some strange hair clips(blocky and almost looked like there were small green cake pops at the end), and green-tinted glasses just floating there and he had launched Hisoki far away.

"You got this Saiki!" Kumin cheered

"Yare yare" I had heard him say but it seemed different and he never moved his mouth. "I better get some good coffee jelly for this"

"No fair! That man is the only thing between us and the singular being God!" Hisoki shouted as he shot back over.

Hisoki then flew up and the two flying 'gods' engaged in an aerial battle. Normally I'd describe it, but they were moving a tad too fast for my eyes to keep up.

Suddenly Hisoki fell from the sky. "Screw this, Time's Denial!" Once again that same green clock appeared and he twisted it, causing Saiki to vanish into thin air.

"Dimensional Rift Borrow!"

"Not on my watch, Infinity's Passing!" Once again the green fog rolled in and this time, hand restraints shot from the ground and covered Kumin's hand.

"So three of you have fallen, and only one hit was landed on me" He sighed. "Come on, do I need to up the anty?"

Rikka glanced at me and we shared a small nod. She shot forward as I prepared a slightly stronger spell than normal.

"Deathly Ram!" Her umbrella shifted mid-attack into its hooked-like state and she executed a simple forward attack. But Hisoki had other plans than to let that hit him.

He drew his sword, and with a small flash of silver, the two of them locked weapons. "Not bad Wicked Eye"

"Not so bad yourself, but it's a shame for you that the Wicked Eye is the Strongest! Yuuta now!" Rikka shouted as she dove out of the way, giving me a clear shot at our opponent.

"Infernal Shotgun: 50 Rounds!" I shoved my hand out in his direction, and instead of the normal single shot, around my hand 49 other bolts of fire materialized. "Fire!"

Just like some kind of shonen jump anime, all of the projectiles shot at him at random intervals, leaving dark purple streaks behind them when they shot off.

As soon as I fired off the attack, I activated Incante Wings to shoot away while Rikka activated her own spell to get further away.

Hisoki made no motion to dodge, the only thing that changed was a slight look of surprise on his face. When the attack landed a large cloud of smoke shot up.

"You know-" His sword swiped through the cloud dispersing it. "You'll have to try a little harder than that but-" He pointed to his left shoulder pointing at the steaming piece of armor. "That's one more clean hit"

Before I could celebrate, he moved with a similar speed as Touka and blurred into existence right behind Rikka. "Sorry about this-" He landed a swift chop to the back of her neck, effectively knocking her out. "Poor girl gets knocked out too easy."

I took a step back. "Yuuta, do you mind if we finish this with that dramatic flair that this club seems to love so much?"

"Uh-" I glanced around, the only other person remaining able to watch this was Kumin. "DO IT YUUTA!"

"See, the Sleepy one agrees," Hisoki said with a nod.

I swallowed hard. "I- mean sure...what do you have in mind?"

"Infinity's Passing" In his hand, a familiar jagged sword formed.

"Is that...the Termination Breaker Sword?" I asked hesitantly. Last I checked Yumhea was wacking me and demons she came across with it.

"Well yes, but actually no" He replied causing me to stare at him.

"Was...that a meme?"

He looked forward, then turned his gaze to the side.

"Why are you using memes right now?!"

"It's fun. Anyway, yes this is the sword, but only a really good replica" He explained as he threw it to me.

I glanced at it. He even added the small details of the carving I did with the friend that got me into what I knew as my Chuuni phase. We had managed to carve our initials into it with fancy little curvy letters right in the hilt where I would hold it. I ran my thumb over the small SS/YT and glanced back up. "This replica is pretty good"

"Thank you, I try to impress. I even got that little dent in the sword on the tip of the blade from when you dropped it packing it up a few months ago" He said. "Anway, the first one to land a direct hit wins, I'll level my strength and speed for levels you can manage."

He dashed at me, it wasn't as fast as before but it was still pretty fast when I never agreed to the rules!

I quickly blocked his simple downward slash, ignoring the now slightly numb feeling present in my limbs. He instantly shot to the right of me and slashed again, I barely had time to block this one as well.

He backed up giving me some breathing room. Then, Raya and The Last Dragon style, his blade splits and is still connected by some kind of string between the now detached metal.

"You gotta be kidding me," I said as I looked at his new weapon. I can't win this on my nonexistent skill with the sword, what was this sword's abilities besides splitting worlds!

I felt a grumble emerge from my arm. Wait, is this how I-?

"I wouldn't do what you thinking Yuuta!" Hisoki yelled as he changed at me, his sword a slicing blur. "At your current power you wouldn't be able to handle the beast properly and someone here will die!"

I grunted as I lifted my sword to try and block all of the hits, but I can't even stand a chance if he keeps forcing me on the defensive.

'Not like you stood a chance against a god in the first place, not without me at least' Some voice that sounded like my old Dark Flame Persona whispered snidely in my head.

I grunted and twisted my blade while he was mid-attack, so he brought the string between the metal onto my blade which I made quick work to force my blade through, causing his sword to shatter.

I quickly altered my grip and tried to stab forward, but my sword was caught promptly between his fingers. "Not bad, Infinity's Passing"

This time, a metal Bo staff materialized in his free hand.

"I got it!" I exclaimed. "Knights Deadly Promise!" My sword sparked to life, first, it lit itself with black fire before the grey blade turned pitch black, then sparks of purple fire ricocheted off the blade. As I yelled, Hisoki yanked his hand away and readied his staff and he seemed startled.

"So you found one of your swords spells."

"Seems so"

"So that means your magic reading has got to be a bit higher. Then again you did use 50 Rounds earlier" An evil grin stretched on his face. His staff glowed a little, and gold formed around the ends. "I can up the force then"

He once again charged at me and went for another overhead attack, I swung my sword at it, but it phased through the staff and it wacked me hard on the forehead.

Before I could prepare another attack the sword in my hands shattered into particles.

"What's that big- oh wait...you win"

"Yup, that's a little trump card that comes with my staff, magic phases through it, so I can hit through someone's magic defense, naturally that lowers my defense with the staff," He said as the world pieced itself back together. "If you hadn't used that spell you could have blocked, however, the sword wasn't coated in magic, its blade changed into the magic"

"Time's denial" He called as the small magic clock appeared in front of him, and he twisted it counterclockwise.

Suddenly the girls were back, perfectly fine at the table.

Rikka looked shellshocked about what had just happened.

Dekomori was patting her hair and feeling her body everywhere that she likely got hurt. I'm 90% sure she never stopped flying that entire fight.

Nibutani was still trying to process that her pom-poms and the fairies were ok, slightly panicking when the fairies didn't show up the second she called them.

Kumin was trying to fall asleep comfortably with the hand restraints still on.

Suddenly I felt an aura wash over me, I glanced over and realized it was coming from our resident god. Something about it made me feel...forgetful...

Rikka gasped. "You are the forgotten one!" She bowed her head down and Dekomori followed her master's example. Nibutani also lightly dipped her head while Kumin passed out. I stared at him, what kinda name is the forgotten-

Hisoki scratched his head awkwardly. "Please don't do that, I hated it when I was with the others but now it's even worse"

"Forgive me for my rudeness my lord" Rikka apologized.

"It's fine really-"

"I'm sorry for assuming that you wouldn't be able to take such a hit from my hammer"

"Oi! Cut it out, I told you to come at me without knowing who I was, forget about it" He exclaimed making all of us jump.

All of us stood at attention(surprisingly Kumin woke up and joined us).

"Yes, I am the forgotten one, or The Fallen, or Lost Grace, whatever title you may give me," He said slowly.

I cleared out my throat. "What exactly...did you do? I know you're a god but everyone here seems kinda..warry of you."

"He's one of the ten major gods of our world" Rikka explained. "He was part of the supreme council of the gods"

"Oh ok," I said, before doing a double-take, "He's one of the what nows?"

"He's not just any god, he was one of the strongest fighters among them, not to mention his achievements in the academic field," Nibutani said flatly.

I looked at her, "You know this stuff?"

"Yes, unlike you, I studied and learned about the magic I found myself in and did not go out to fight whatever I came across, that's all you did. Clearly, you never did any research on our history or that dragon in your arm" Nibutani snapped at me

"What else do I need to know?"

"Oh, nothing-" Hisoki started to say but got cut off by Dekomori.

"He is the Master of all the first monsters, he was the person who invented the idea of the weapons we use."

"Oh really..." I looked at him. "You never thought to mention this when we were speaking?"

"It's not all that important. Someone would have come up with the idea of binding monsters to weapons sooner or later."

"What of the creation of my Wicked Eye?" Rikka asked. "You had played a pivotal role in the balance of the power to successfully create this eye for my ancestor, the first"

"Uh...I was having a good magic day?" He offered weakly.

So he's the type to shy away from his work...great

"What about-" Nibutani started before a hand placed over her mouth stopped her.

Hisoki sighed. "Listen, I'm sure you guys think 'oh wow, a god, this is going to make things so much easier, then maybe we can find even more gods and bring them together', well that's wrong, I'm the last one remaining that can fight. Even the chuunirzed ones are finished. The ones that are still alive are blocked from their magic permanently, you would need a brush with death from god himself to make them see a trace of magic again. Second, I can't help you that much, the second I leave this domain, I will have to expend extra energy to use more of my power"

"Why is that?" I asked. "If you left here, wouldn't you be closer to your magic's roots? Therefore, you'd be able to use more just as easily?"

"If I had kept my godly form that may have been possible, but I'm kinda like the dragon in your arm. I am in technical terms, a creature from another realm bonded to an item in this world to unlock their magic. I unlocked my host's potent magic but if I leave here, that magic will be sealed off until I force it open again"

"So what can you do about that?" Nibutani asked. "Normally a weapon with some kind of magical creature would make us stronger, especially after leaving this world where we have clear limits"

"I have 3 options-" He lifted one finger. "I claim a weapon like you guys to lessen the strain of my power, of course, I would need something durable enough and a creature that wouldn't combust if I tried to channel through it, the chances of me finding something like that though are low"

"Makes sense, sealed or not, this is still godly magic, you'd need something of a higher weapon class" I idly commented

He lifted a second finger. "I could just find a new host temporarily, a new host for each world could be problematic, and there is no guaranty that all my hosts would agree to have to share a godly soul"

"Also makes sense, they would be weak for so often"

"And lastly, the riskiest option but most profitable." He dropped his hand. "Either turn this body into my new godly form or just leave this to reform it. They have the same effect so I bunched them together. It's risky because I could start sending off flairs to my location every second but with that power back, I might be able to fight them off, the problem is you guys, you can't fight as long as I can, nor be as effective. But the power boost is tempting"

I looked at the ground. "Is it possible for you to just rock with whatever power you have and then just force out more when we have a problem?"

"Yes, but that isn't exactly safe, if I do enough I could basically become a nuke of godly magic that will destroy everything it touches, and that will likely kill you guys"

"What if you sealed some of your power inside of a weapon and let your host do everything with you backing him up?" Kumin asked. "It could be like your dreaming everything but some part of it is still real because of your weapon"

"I-" Hisoki seemed ready to tell her that it was silly then paused. "That's actually a solid plan...did you get that from one of your dreams?"

"Nope! My leg fell asleep so I figured why not reverse it a little and apply it to magic!" Kumin said with a giggle. "My dreams aren't that weird"

We all stared at her for a little before returning to the topic.

"So I just need a god class weapon...I know a smith but I doubt she'd be able to make something that could withstand more than 5 uses at best." Hisoki muttered.

"What about the legendary weapons? I thought they were still around" Nibutani asked.

"The what now?" I asked.

"You really need to study magic history, the Legendary weapons was a set of 7 weapons granted to the top ranking mages. With one, you could easily destroy a minor god at full power, and all 7 allowed to essentially become God." She explained. "That's why the weapons were limited so that only one can be used by a person at a time and then after their wielders died, they had scattered themselves across the magical dimensions."

"They all start as spears but will shift depending on what kind of fighter you are. And each weapon can only be used by a specific type of mage. In fact, we all fit one box for each weapon besides the Jack Of Trades. A seer, a warlock, a white mage, a summoner, dark knight, and I classify still as an elemental before anything, so check." Hisoki said to himself. "Seems almost convenient huh? Next thing we know there is one in this dimension because someone died and it placed itself here."

I glanced around...manga logic please?...no? Alright...I guess we could just hunt one down.

"Anyway we should all get some food, then maybe scout out a new world," Hisoki said. "I want to test the waters a little, see how far the drop is."

I assumed he was going to teleport and wait for us, but he actually walked with us.

"Do you think he's warming up to us?" I whispered to Nibutani. She paused and leaned over to Rikka. After Rikka whispered back Nibutani leaned over to whisper to me and Rikka did the same with Dekomori.

"Not sure, but I would have thought if he had warmed up to us he might have spoken to us a bit more, maybe offer a smile or two"

"You know, I can hear you right?" He called back towards us, causing all of us to jump. "God-level senses remember? Anyway, get used to my presence. I'm actually rasing all of your readings now. Rikka check them"

Rikka quickly flashed her eye out and scanned over us. "He is far from incorrect. Yuuta you have risen to 125 already, Shinka you have reached 100, Kumin is astonishingly at 175 and Dekomori has risen to 200. Even myself wasn't left out of this sudden power surge, I had shot up to 250"

I gasped. "Why did we all get so much stronger all of a sudden?"

"Hanging with the big dogs will do that to you, if someone with a higher reading than you constantly spends time around you, your power will try to match theirs, growing by simply being near each other" Hisoki explained. "I enveloped Rikka in some of my aura to cause hers to spike a bit more drastically, your leader should be the strongest of you"

"Wow...but by that machinic can't a set of two weak people eventually rise up to a high level of power if they wait long enough? Like if one had a reading of 10 and the other had 5."

"Oh yeah. I've seen it happen. I could reel in all my power so you guys don't get any kind of boost but I figured you guys wouldn't mind a nice push in the right direction"

We quickly found a restaurant and walked in, quickly ordering a bunch of food.

When the food had arrived, three people weren't very happy.

"Tomatoes! They lessen your mana levels! They interfere with my Seer abilities!" Rikka exclaimed as she poked at the raw tomato on her lunch.

"MILK MY MORTAL ENEMY!" Dekomori exclaimed as she nearly whipped out her hammer, thankfully Kumin managed to calm her down by drinking the milk and promptly passing out.

Why did you even order milk?

Only to make Rikka eat, I had taken her tomatoes.

"Yuuta! It seems this rice has been contaminated!" She held a small bit of rice in her chopsticks that had some of the tomato juice on them.

"Fine I'll eat it" I leaned forward and Rikka placed the rice in my mouth, as I ate it, I realized there was a distinct lack of sound.

I turned and found everyone staring at us!

I jumped back. "Just- Just trying to make Rikka eat her food!"

Kumin giggled and Nibutani had a strange look on her face.

"Oblivion's Introduction!" A dark tendril of energy shot out from the ground and destroyed the tomatoes on Hisoki's dish.

"Woah, Were they serious about the negative effects of these foods?" I asked glancing nervously at the small slices of fruit/vegetable in front of me.

"Huh? Oh Nah, normal food does not affect your magic whatsoever unless you count if you don't eat it you run out of energy or if someone tampered with them to have negative effects on the eater. I just hate those things" He pointed at the Tomatoes I had. "Rikka feels the same way about eating them raw, and I think Dekomori might be lactose intolerant or something"

Oh, thank god!

"So-" He placed his food down. "What type of world should we check first? We got options but I do know a way into one that's a bit safer"

"Well that sounds good but would the scale/fin be somewhere safe?" I asked pointedly as I picked up some meat. "I'd bet the most dangerous place would be where their base is and the second would be the location of the scale"

Hisoki's face turned ashen as he spoke, "I know exactly where their base is. They built it on top of the old council house...over where the most blood was spilled"

"Oh-" We all let out a small sound in response as he prepared himself to speak again.

"Anyway, as for going somewhere safe, its best to be able to practice your new limits where your life isn't that far on the line, it will also give me a good look at how much I'll be sealed, if I have a huge drop in a safe place then I'll likely have no power if I manage to get over to their base"

"It lacks the need to be said, but you are our most valuable piece now," Rikka said, now placing her finished meal down. "You must always conserve your energy for an emergency"

"Naturally, the best I can do is raise your power and offer you advise, maybe cast a spell to shift the balance slightly in your favor," He said. "Pretty sucky luck for you, get a god on your side and he is extremely limited."

"So what your saying is we have to pick up the slack the god has caused us?" I asked. "Ironic"

"Don't compare me to Aqua now, I'm loads of help compared to help, considering my other powers" He said raising his hands into the air. "I haven't mentioned this to all of you yet, but my race is Demonic Elemental, I'm half demon half earth elemental"

Rikka's eyes widened. "Half demon you say?! That means-"

"I can help you locate the Invisible Boundary Lines? Yeah, I can. If I get lucky my curse will activate while we are out there and I can just screw the rules on my limits and go ham. And regarding my curse, I can learn anything that has been forgotten, for example, Rikka you were supposed to feed Chimera this morning" He said pointing at the floor where said creature was pawing Rikka's feet.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry Chimera! I shall summon you the propper nutrition using the-"

"Chimera prefers cat food" Hisoki cut in, and he created a small can of cat food with a bowl. He quickly set it on the ground and let the cat attack it. "You forgot that as well Rikka, I created all Chimera's with my bare hands, I know their coding"

"I see, I shall set up a reminder using the mystical properties of modern-day electronics!" Rikka pulled out her phone and quickly hit a few buttons before putting it away.

"Anyway, Nibutani, Kumin, are you ready to leave?" Hisoki asked as he gathered our trash/utensils.

"Yes!"

"Yeah, I finished, thanks again"

"No problem, I get money from the government every week cuz of living alone and being a 'school boy' so they don't expect me to have a job yet," Hisoki said. "Can't exactly tell the government that I'm some god that has taken over the body of the said boy, and can create matter from thin air."

"That's fair" Nibutani commented before she stood up to go to the bathroom.

Kumin giggled. "So Mr. God, I can summon you nearly anytime I need something?"

"Yeah, I consider it to be a cruel joke from someone I didn't find all that pleasing" He deadpanned. "No offense Kumin, but your needs could be as simple as needing somewhere to fall asleep. Then again, your sleeping ties in with your magic so I can't really blame you for that"

I perked up. "What do you mean it ties into her magic?"

"All Summoners have a heavy toll to pay for their summons, Kumin is lucky enough to get the power to summon entities from across the multiverse, and the cost of her magic makes her sleepy. I have seen people die from summoning a magic leaf. So the more Kumin sleeps, the more spells she can cast"

"That...is so overpowered" I managed to say.

"Coming from the man with a literal dragon in his arm" Hisoki replied blankly.

"And that's coming from the god" Nibutani deadpanned as she walked back.

"Touché"

We exited the building and walked out. "Would you like to explore this world our friend Hisoki offered us now or later?" Rikka asked

"Well, we are already in the mood," Nibutani said

"And we kinda have refiled our mana" I continued

"Plus the God-man is summoning the portal!" A new young voice said with an excited giggle. I whipped my head around and found none other than my little sister giggling next to us, sitting on the shoulders of the said God-man.

"Yuuta, your sister is a Jack of All Trades, so she might have to come with us," Hisoki said in a voice far too serious for me to take seriously with him having a small child on his shoulders.

"Big Brother! I found a cool staff!" Yumeha exclaimed as she held up a staff. It was a beautiful brown staff, with gold accents around the handle and bottom of it, like a wizard's staff, it curled at the top with more golden accents there, in the large circle created by the curve there was a glowing ball of light.

"She found the Spear of Opportunity," Rikka said with a little gasp. "Yumeha, I have never been more correct to take on a pupil!"

I landed a swift chop on Rikka's head. "I hope you didn't teach her anything too dangerous"

"Ow! Yuuta! I would never!" Rikka whined as she rubbed her head.

"Mr. God taught me how to destroy stuff!" Yumeha shouted excitedly. "I banish thee! Destruction is the beauty of art and life! Thy life has run short at Oblivions Introduction!"

The ball of light in the staff shifted to a black color and then she swung it at a fire extinguisher, which didn't stand much of a chance against the dark tendril of magic.

"Your sister is too freaking good at picking up magic man" Hisoki commented, looking a bit too calm for holding something on his shoulders that could cast spells like that. "This staff is the hardest for a group to pick up because in a group, normally a Jack of all Trades is unneeded because of the coverage most groups have. Not to mention its the most feared because of its versatility"

"You...have got to be kidding me," I said slowly. This was manga logic, but not the type I wanted! Of course, Yumeha is the one that gets the god weapon and not one of us.

Just then I realized something. "Wait, if we get our hands on these spears, would we have to ditch the weapons we currently use?"

"Nope, these things are attachable to your current weapons if you want, you see Yumeha picked up a magic wand not too long ago and she accidentally fused the two, which is why she doesn't know what the full spear form looks like, after she touched it, she dropped the wand on it. Making the spear recognize the wand as her weapon" He explained.

Yumeha created a small magic circle in the air with her finger and touched it with her palm before pulling out my old sword. "Big Brother, take this back, you always loved playing with it at the park"

Ignoring the stifled giggle from the girls behind me, along with the heat rising to my face, I quickly grabbed the slightly dented sword. Hisoki grabbed the end where it was dented and slowly bent it back into place before letting go with a small hum.

"Let's go!" Kumin said with a small jump. She dashes forward into a portal around 6 feet tall. Hisoki quickly placed Yumeha down and motioned for her to go through the portal and followed after her giving us a pointed look.

Nibutani was the next to step forward, before she stepped through she threw me a small smile. That left me and Rikka.

"Well Dark Flame Master, it seems our story is nearly at its climax," Rikka said giving me a small smile as well.

I grinned. "Well, The Wicked Eye of the Lord Shinigan, it looks like we must make the most of this before things get boring"

"Of course." She held out a hand to me. "Let us step into tomorrow"

"Yes, let us do that" I grabbed her hand, subconsciously remembering the feeling of her small hand in mine.

We both step forward at the same time, I closed my eyes at the bright flash of light.

And now more magic shenanigans will ensue sometime next week! Hopefully, this turns out well, as you can see, Hisoki has made a few changes already, thankfully this is when I'll really start tampering with things. *Hold up a small glass*

Here's to hopefully not messing this up! *Clink's cup with the one you hopefully at least held up in your mind*
