"Explain to me, why we have to go there. Just one more time."

"Isn't that already obvious Hookfang?"

Both Sarah and James traveling was through the city in a male's car, with him in place of the driver and her taking the seat just next to him. By that time, she was checking herself in the car's mirror just over her, once time fixing defects. Onto that, Hookfang just chuckled in meantime rolling his eyes. Classically. Despite the fact James knew where they were going, he wasn't delighted by it, knowing it wasn't one of her brightest ideas. "No? Honestly, I would change direction by the time we have a chance to do so. What will you say about some fries?"

"I'm on diet James, that's first. Secondly, don't you think it's time already?" Stormfly a slightly push closed mirror over her, just to glance over Hookfang with rather sweetly eyes. "You know, spend some time with them? Talk with them? Ask how he is?" James frowned. Sarah annoyed. "Anything James! It was a full month damn it!" She impacted her palm into his elbow, causing him momentarily to lose control over the car, reasoning his heart to jump straight into his throat. By the time he regained that control, he looked over her rather offended, yet seeing he wouldn't win the fight against her at being more angered, clearing his throat he turned his vision onto the road.

"I'm just reminding you, he told us to leave them alone, didn't he?" He snickered. "As always anyway."

"Exactly James! As always!" He shot her a questioning look with the side of his eye, and she facepalmed, streaming her palm through her whole face. "What I meant is you never were bothered by his words! You would come to him anyway and probably you would do so just in a mocking way rather than supportive now. What changed?"

Hookfang sighed. "Tobias became a father."

"And?"

"And I don't know exactly how should I behave around now. It's such strange and it's difficult to even imagine how to make things around us."

Sarah's brow raised. "You're scared that he turn into some other person?"

He nodded. "Also, I don't know much about children and now I became one's godfather." Stormfly rolled her eyes as she opened her mouth, but before she could do anything, she was interrupted. "I know what will you say. I could disagree. I could just say no-" She shot him an obvious look. "-but then, how could I? It's a such great honor, but then I don't know what to do with it." By the time he spoke, he sharply stopped his car in the parking lot as he placed his head on the wheel before him, almost honking in meantime.

Stormfly shook her head, with a reassuring smile glanced over him, supporting him with a touch of her palm over his back. "Listen to me very clearly now Hookfang." As she asked, he was done, eventually turning his sight from over wheel, onto her. "It's a good thing you're stressed with your position because it shows me you care about it." Despite the immobility of contact caused by the car's distance between seats, Stormfly was able to encircle her arms around him, in way of a supportive hug. "You don't have to be worried about it much. Your job isn't about taking care of him, but rather about occasional support."

"Support?"

She moved back onto her seat. "You know, once a time when Tobias would have some trouble over it, maybe making him groceries, maybe guarding while Henry's asleep." She chuckled. "I actually can't even imagine myself Toothless which would let anyone take care of him rather than himself." James chuckled as well. Returning to reality, Stormfly shook her head. "Anyway, about his behavior, I wouldn't be bothered by it. I mean, Toothless has always been some cold and straight guy, because of which, I seriously don't know how we love him and he loves us back for that." She smirked. "Besides, I'm pretty sure he's going to be only better now. You saw how happy he was with that kid?!" Rapidly, she pulled the handle of the door as she got out of the car, closing the doors hardly. Hookfang snorted. How many times does he have to keep telling her?! As he followed her, both now walked towards the building in which its place had Tobias's apartment. By the time they walked upstairs, Sarah was almost jumping out of excitement. "I can't wait to see that cute face of his!"

"I mean, I could name him handsome, but I don't think the word 'cute' suits Toothless."

She snickered. "I was referring to Hiccup, you moron!" She smacked the back of his head with her palm, and immediately afterward returned to hers thrilling. "I wonder how much hair would he have now, or what his color eyes are."

"Aren't they black? I mean, we saw them already."

"That's shocking, but the truth is they don't have to be black at all," Sarah smirked as she raised her chin, knowing her knowledge was overtaking his. He rolled his eyes annoyed by that. Typical. "I had a conversation about that with Meatlug, and as we checked, it seems somewhere about a second, or third mouth dye of infants' eyes appears. It means as at first, he had black eyes, now he might have even blue!"

James fastened as they were only closer to a target, in meantime passing her as she slowed down, thoughtfully at last. He smirked underneath his nose. "You would love so, wouldn't you?"

"Obviously!" She crossed her arms. "Blue is most beautiful!"

Eventually, both found themselves before the doors. Hookfang was about to knock, but an invisible force, which could be named these 'common senses' he never actually had, stopped him. In difference of mental support, which he consider from her, she got ahead as she knocked in a difference of him. Immediately he almost freaked out but calmed down after taking a few breaths. Hearing as almost nothing happened afterward, both were surprised as they were sure about his presence at the house. Stormfly repeated her motions and both were well shocked hearing the rapid impact into the floor. Both instantly froze now, but as little time passed there were footsteps followed by the swiftly opening of doors before them.

"For fucking sake, louder, why don't you?" Indoor stood known them to figure now, but not exactly. Tobias wasn't actually in the best state of his. His hair, which casually was rather decent, now would be named a total mess. Same with its owner. Underneath his eyes, there were slightly bags, as he was glancing over them with tiredness they never saw on him. His gait seemed like he just got up from bed nonetheless. Sarah smiled at him reassuringly, while James remained speechless and motionless, not knowing if he should laugh his ass off, or maybe show his backup. He smirked. There was only one good answer. He snorted. Toothless frowned. "Don't you even try? I swear I'm not in the mood." He stroked his forehead. Seeing Hookfang's behavior didn't get through change, his teeth tightened as he muttered in between those. "Any moment now and I'm going to strangle you."

Hearing it as well as finally taking notice of her boyfriend's manner, she painfully impacted her elbow into his stomach, instantly making him bent onto ache. Toothless didn't react much, as the only thing that changed on his face was the slight movement of his brows. Eventually, Tobias likely got tired of his position as he yawned and walked inside his house, probably accidentally leaving the doors wide open. By that time, he found his way toward the couch, onto which he collapsed, exhausted. Both teenagers which were now observing the whole situation shrugged at each other as they followed him, in meantime taking off their coats. As they did, Stormfly's eyes shine brightly with enthusiasm as she saw the little stroller just next to Toothless's place of laying. Immediately she rushed in its direction.

Feeling her upcoming presence, Toothless muttered, the sound muffled as he spoke against the soft material of the sofa. "Wake him up, and I'm killing off your boyfriend."

"Why me?!" James mumbled, way he sounded rather offended. Despite his words, Tobias wasn't sure how to explain his doings as he casually shrugged. Hookfang growled silently, but already over the stroller Stormfly waved her palm onto him, ordering him into sight she saw now, the sight of the stroller's insides. He breathed loudly, but as commanded, he did, walking closer toward now both of them. Already in place, he glanced downwards, onto a tiny figure inside.

Stormfly silently squealed. "My gods, he is so adorable!" Hookfang couldn't disagree. Despite his lack of wiliness towards kids at all, that one had something in it. He wasn't sure what it was, maybe the way of his position of sleep, as he lay with a slightly opened mouth, one little palm tightly holding onto the blanket which encircled his little form, while the other held an ear of a plushie just next to him. Maybe it was way little breaths were now sweetly getting out of him, making soft alike sounds? Even so, James smiled, knowing it was his godson. Sarah grabbed his forearm as she was tugging at it now. "You saw how much hair he has?" Focusing on it, once again he couldn't object. It was astonishing for him as his hairs were probably half of his head's volume, despite the fact being something like three months old. Sarah glanced at Toothless from over the stroller. "What eyes color he has?" In difference of getting the rather normal response, the only thing Tobias did in exchange, was the slightest snoring sounds. She shook her head, afterward turning towards Hookfang, smiley alike. "You can meet your obligations now, godfather."

He returned her sight as he sighed loudly, afterward focusing on the little boy. "Probably, you're right." He smirked, bent too much over the stroller as he stared at the tiny figure with wide-opened eyes. "Am I doing it right?"

She giggled. "Well." Eventually, she grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled him backward. "Not time for jokes, you can accidentally wake him up." Surprisingly, for both of the at last, as she said, actually happened. Little bodies before them now squirmed uncomfortably. Both of them glanced over at Tobias, which still lay motionless. Their eyes widened, knowingly he wasn't going to get up any time soon. Thereafter, Hiccup's little palms were now rubbing his eyes. Sarah almost melted out of fascination, but then understood, he was waking up. Before they knew that, slightly sobbing was coming out of his mouth. She didn't know why she had done so, but out of probably instinct, she took him into her arms, after all, cause of her brother she knew how to behave around kids. She rocked him and in the meantime, as he opened his eyes she was met with a forest alike dark green glow. She smiled at him brightly, as miraculously Toothless's eyes and his were almost likely related. Her happiness was short, as, in the difference of calming him, it seemed her motion made him even more distressed. He screamed.

Instantly, Tobias fell off his bed. Hookfang burst into a silently chuckle just underneath his nose. So that was that impact into the floor they heard earlier. As Toothless raised his head, he almost rapidly stood up at the sight of Stormfly holding Hiccup. "Sarah, what are you doing?!" She opened her mouth, just as a way of explaining herself, but wasn't able to get out of her even with silent noise. Instantly, she pulled her arms in his direction, handing him a little figure into his hold. "You can't just take him like that! He doesn't know you!"

Focused now on his charge, Toothless kept Hiccup against his chest, embracing him alike close to his body, rocking him in meantime as well as sending towards his ear soothing sounds. Eventually, he rushed now around the room, rambling through it. James used that time as he glanced over at Sarah, nervous alike stroking her palms, probably ashamed. In form of comfort, he placed his palm against farther of her shoulders, now encircling her. She momentarily looked over him, but even so, avoided his sight. Hookfang bit his lip as he loudly cleared his throat. Seeing he got Tobias's attention, with his head he pointed at the distressed teenage girl.

Tobias sighed. "Stormfly, I-I'm sorry. That's okay." He stopped by that moment, immediately Hiccup get him to know about his presence as he cried. He continued rocking. "I-I understand you just wanted to help." He forced onto himself a weak smile and afterward walked past them inside his bedroom, probably in way of privacy for sake of his distressed boy.

Smiley alike Hookfang glanced over Sarah, which still seemed rather not much reassured. "Hey..." He encircled her from behind, way his arms embraced her middle and his chin found its way onto her shoulder. "You didn't hear him? It's alright."

"I know..." She exhaled, sadly. "I just feel so blameful for doing so, also selfish, because mostly I just wanted to hold him, rather than thinking about his good."

James snickered. "Okay, I was wrong. You're terrible." He smiled mockingly.

She instantly onto that growled. "I hate you."

"I love you too." Within that, he placed a soft kiss on her cheek, making her same moment blush alike as well as angry and ashamed of herself as she let herself blush afterwards his words. Eventually, both were rather surprised as Toothless came from his room, holding now sleeping Hiccup in his arms, in meantime wide-eyed onto them, showing them to shut the fuck up. Carefully, he started placing the little forms into the stroller. Hookfang rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms. Wasn't he overreacting? Immediately, he regretted his thoughts, because, despite a such slight movement, when Toothless's arms left his body, Hiccup immediately burst into a cry as he pulled his little arms in his direction.

Tobias tightened his teeth. "For fuc-" He immediately stopped, as not to curse with Hiccup's presence nearby. He took him into his arms, making the little boy immediately rather more calmed. "I'm losing my patience, you know?" He glanced over his charge, which now held his shirt tightly.

Sarah felt uncomfortable by the sight. "Tobias, maybe it would be better if you calmed down."

He sharply looked over her, rather frowned. "Great idea!" He murmured. "But say me, do I have reason to?!"

"Yes you do, you see-" She was interrupted by a rapid shriek of cry coming out of Hiccup. Toothless immediately rocked him, rather saddened by his state. "-he senses your anger."

Toothless sighed. He moved Hiccup's body, way it was against his chest, with his head by side of his shoulder, his cheek against it. Immediately, Tobias kissed the little one's forehead, as a way of comforting him. Stormfly squirmed seeing their position. He noticed so. He placed his cheek against Hiccup's head. "He likes when I hold him like that." She nodded understandingly, but even so surprised by the position of the infant nonetheless. He sighed. "You're right. I should calm down, it's just-" He exhaled. "-it was hard, those few weeks."

"Nobody said it's going to be easy, Tob."

After those words of Hookfang, Sarah glanced over him, terribly. "Any moment now and I'm going to kick you out of here."

"No. He's right." Toothless glanced over the ground, leaving both of them wide-eyed afterward his words. "Don't get me wrong, I-I like this new life, it's just-" He sighed, ashamed. "You know, the first week was probably the best in my entire lifetime. Time we spent together, the way I was improving my parenting skills, and the fun we've got together-." Glancing at Hiccup in his arms, now likely calmed, but with a few tears still underneath his eyes, Toothless smiled, carefully wiping those. Eventually, probably out of memory, he was saddened. "-it was great, but then Hiccup made himself some terrible habit, which caused both of us to be in the state you see us now in." Seeing both of their questioning looks, he just glanced over at Hiccup once again, this time rather calmly, showing he wasn't blaming said boy. "He can't sleep on his own now. Every time I'm trying to put him in the stroller, he would scream, yell uncomfortably."

"Is it such a problem Toby?" Hookfang raised his brow upon him. "I mean, just lay with him. Seeing your state I could say some sleep would make you times better."

"I'm scared James." Despite his words as well as straight informing them about his fears, Toothless stood confidently, not objecting to any of these. "I'm scared while doing so, I might hurt him somehow." He rambles in little circles. "What if I move somehow, throwing him out of bed? What if I held him too tight, causing him to be in pain? What if I crushed him?! What if-"

"Too much of 'what if', Tobias." Sarah interrupted him, as worriedly she stared onto, overwhelmed by panic now, Toothless. "You would never hurt him! We both know that. We all know that." She pointed to James who nodded, agreeing alike.

"I might not consciously, but I might-"

"Unconsciously as well!" She exhaled, and walked towards him, placing her palm against his shoulder. "You won't believe this now, but the truth is you're having parent instincts, whichever are going to inform you about your child's distress."

"Stormfly, I do not even consider myself a father! Whole that time I thought about myself, rather than that, as the older brother of his." He tightened his eyes. "Maybe all of that wasn't a good idea."

"What the hell you're talking about Toby?" Hookfang's mouth shot wide open. "Even now I'm seeing how great of a father you are!"

Sarah proudly nodded to Hookfang, before turning towards the boy before herself. "Exactly. Besides, it was only a month, first is always worst." Toothless avoided her sight, not much convinced by those words of hers. "I can't persuade you, what if you ask someone more experienced? I'm pretty sure if you had done so, you would get the answers you need as well as that confidence you're lacking. You can't say me, you're the first person onto that planet that have such problems."

"I can't just ask for help, alright? I just adopted him! In what light is it showing me off!" He glanced over her, frightened alike. "I was supposed to take care of him, I was supposed to be best for him, a-and I'm going to call for help because it seems that I lied now?" His eyes were slightly teared. "What if they discover that I can't handle him? A-Are they going to take him from me?"

"Not! Where even that thought came from?!"

"Stress?! Frighten?! I don't know!" Toothless breathed loudly, in the meantime distressing Hiccup, still against his chest. The little one cried and while doing so, Tobias felt an uncountable amount of guilt now streaming through his body. Even so, he held him slightly tighter as he stoked Hiccup's forehead now with his thumb. He sighed sorrowfully. "Probably all of them."

Both Stormfly and Hookfang shot each other understanding, then also worried sights, before both glanced once again forward onto fresh father. Sarah tilted her head, and was looking at the floor Tobias was able to notice her before himself. "Tobias, it's alright to ask for help, even you can. It doesn't matter if you've adopted him or not. They wouldn't let you take him if they knew you couldn't handle it." She stroked his forearm which held the little boy, still rather sobbing silently feeling his protector startle. "I'm certain even by the time he would have both parents, he could have such problems as well. I can tell you, that they would have asked for help. It doesn't make any difference! I'm positive about that! In your case, it's even recommended! Toothless you're a teenager and got onto yours back such burden, don't be afraid just to ask!"

"Even so, don't think about yourself any less than you're Toby." Hookfang raised his chin upon Toothless and both males' sights met. "You are the father of his. You might try to convince me the role of brother suits you more, but the truth is you made things for him, which ensures me that you love him so much. You love him, with love which only parent would have." He stuck his chest out. "Stop pretending already, and just let him onto that bed of yours! It's selfish to just keep it all just for yourself!" His command rather helped him somehow, as Tobias smiled rather weakly onto him.

Sarah grabbed James's forearm tightly in her hold, leading him toward the entrance of the apartment. "We should go."

"Hey, I just joked! It's-"

"They should go to sleep." Stormfly looked over James, giving him an obvious glance, until he returned it rather understandingly, nodding in meantime. She glanced over at Toothless. "I hope we didn't bother you much."

"That's-" He exhaled. "That's okay. It was nice to see you again." Both smiled afterward, as they started dressing toward their way out. By the time they were ready, Toothless stood before doors now. "Even so I didn't exactly invite you here, I'm happy you came."

"We're as well." Stormfly smiled before she bent over Hiccup's little form. "It was nice to see that adorable boy once again." She made a few funny alike sounds in his direction.

James cleared his throat. "Weren't we supposed to leave now?" Sarah turned rapidly towards him as she giggled, and immediately backed toward his side. "Good luck, and stay strong daddy." Everyone's eyes shot wide open. Hookfang embarrassed. "Forget I said that bye!" Within that, he swiftly closed doors as Tobias likely chuckled silently now.

He glanced down at Hiccup, which seemed to notice it as he looked over at his guardian. Tobias placed a soft kiss upon his forehead until whispering rather sweetly. "Second time's the charm, isn't it?"

"Well, maybe six times is the charm." Toothless yawned with a rather wide open mouth, still keeping himself so as not to make any noise, once again putting Hiccup onto his stroller. It seemed inside his body, his little boy has some kind of alert button, as without even touching the stroller surface, immediately scream was brought upon Toothless's ears. Instantly he once again took him against his chest, sighing in meantime. "Buddy, you're making me impossible." He frowned slightly, but seeing Hiccup's distress as he held now his shirt, as well as glanced over him with those begging alike eyes, he understood there wasn't any other way. He exhaled. "Fine, but I'm not going to sleep, you get it? It's your fault."

Hiccup either didn't understand him or just didn't care, as he likely stayed the way he was, still keeping himself close to him. Toothless walked through rooms, until he found his way onto his bed, with Hiccup still over his chest. He carefully laid down, his back first, way both were now pleasurable situated. Seeing he wasn't forced into keeping stable tiny boy's head now, Toothless let it down onto the bed. The second hand still held onto Hiccup, which likely curled onto him, calmly closing his eyes now. Toothless smiled by sight. James was right, he loved that tiny boy of his, and he wanted to be for him more than a simple brother. Hiccup was his son now, his little buddy, his tiny hope, maybe even his everything. Glancing once time upon him, every time, despite those few days of insomnia, he always felt relieved, happy about having him close.

Tobias couldn't help but raise himself slightly, putting a soft kiss upon Hiccup's top of the head, which in return by the doings his, exhaled sweetly, closing his eyes now comfortably, even so still holding his shirt. Toothless could only now stare at little body being raised and lowered by his breaths which were causing movement of his chest. In meantime, despite being rather a weak feeling, he took notice of a slight heartbeat just over his own body. Hiccup's heartbeat was only slowing down now. Way of situation, the strange feeling of security over his boy as well as his still-lasting exhaustion caused Toothless to momentarily close his eyes.

What was supposed to be temporary rest, happened to be five hours of deep sleep. By the time, hoping it was only instantaneous, Tobias opened his eyes rather rapidly. His palm was stroking his forehead now, trying to stay awake in meantime. Focusing, he was rather surprised to see a change of sunlight being weaker, than it was just a moment ago. When the answer to his question clicked into his mind, he was likely distressed. He fell asleep! Immediately he glanced downward and seeing no Hiccup over him, he panicked. It was the moment before Toothless was about to stand up rapidly, but just then he heard soft snoring just close by. He was confused but noticed he held one of his palms over the cardigan he wore now. He moved it from his chest slightly and his eyes shot wide open, seeing as Hiccup was covered by it, smiley alike as he finally got the sleep he since sometimes begged over. Analyzing the whole situation, Tobias understood. He covered him! He unconsciously gave him the warmness he needed! Toothless smiled now brightly, knowing he had done so without any thought. Maybe those two idiots were right about something. Maybe he had those parental instincts. Maybe he was indeed his father.

Eventually, Hiccup's eyes were opening, just to be closed immediately, like some blinking. Tobias glanced over the clock, which hanging was against one of his room's walls. 6.34 p.m. excellent. Toothless smiled. "Good morning, buddy." Hearing his voice, Hiccup squealed as he moved his head as far as possible, in way of seeing his father. Seeing his trouble with it, as well as the way his head was dangerously placed now, Toothless didn't waste more time as he held him, moved his knees, way those let him sit, with those slightly raised, making for Hiccup place of laying onto. Both now looked over each other as Hiccup once again squealed, pulling his arms towards him. Toothless knew instantly what he meant, as he pushed his head forward, placing it in instant onto Hiccup's tummy. Little arms were encircled around his head, and way right away palms were now tightly holding back his hair. Hiccup screamed happily as he alike laughed sweetly. Toothless chuckled at his son's joy and closed his eyes in comfort.

Eventually, Hiccup squeezed his hold as he pulled his hair now. Tobias didn't even flinch, even so, the pain went through his bones. Gently, he gripped his tiny palms, forcing those to lose their hold. As they did, Toothless moved away, the way he was once again sitting rather straight, but even so, still, little palms were in his hands, or rather onto his thumbs. Glancing upon him, Tobias noticed Hiccup's eyes were watering. He knew it since he looked over the cloak. "You're hungry, buddy?" He carefully took the tiny body in his arms as he stood up, eventually looking down at him smiley. "C'mon. Let's make you something good." Within that, both walked off from Tobias's room towards the kitchen. Even so, Toothless's heart was screaming with joy at the knowledge everything was only going to be better now.
