I slowly opened my eyes, looking around. I didn't know where I was. I got up and walked around. "Hello?" I called out. "Hello? Can someone please help me?" I called out again. I kept walking until I saw someone. I instantly recognized her, it's Charlie!
"Charlie?" I said with tears in my eyes. I couldn't believe it. I never thought I would see her again. I never thought I'd see my best friend again.
"Aurelia?"
I went to hug her.
"What's going on?" I ask.
"I don't know, I just woke up here." Charlie says confused.
"Yeah, me too. Do you think Sam and Dean had anything to do with this?"
"How long has it even been?" Charlie asked me.
"Who are you?" Another voice catches our attention. I pull away from Charlie, and my eyes widen. It was Sam and Dean's mother, I saw from the pictures. My step mom.
"Mary?" I ask.
"Who are you guys? What's going on?" Mary asked.
"We don't know." I say. Mary looks behind us, we turn our heads to see what or who she's looking at. We see a man standing there shocked. I recognized him. It was Dean.
"Aurelia? Charlie?" He looks over to the other blonde woman. Me and Charlie run up to hug him.
"Mom?"
He slowly walks over to her.
"Are you really.. real?" Dean asked going to put his hand on Mary's shoulder but Mary grabs his hand and throws him to the ground with her foot on his head.
"Where am I? Who the hell are you people?" Mary asked a hint of anger in her voice.
"Mary stop!" I yell.
"I-I'm Dean, Winchester. Your son!"
"No.. My Dean, is four years old." Mary says.
"I was when you died." Dean explains.
Mary's eye widen and she takes a step back. Remembering how she died.
"Come on, I'll explain on the way." Dean says standing up.
-After explaining-
"So, God's sister.. Brought us back to life?" I ask.
"Yeah.."
"Wow..." Charlie says.
"How long was I gone?" I ask Dean.
"A year.." Dean replies and my eyes widen.
"What about Cas? How's he?" I ask.
"He was pretty broken up after you died. We didn't see him for a month after that, I don't know where he was, or what he was doing. I wanted to ask him but I decided not to." Dean explained.
"He'll be very happy to see you."
"Lets go home." Dean smiled.
-AT THE BUNKER-
We entered the bunker and found blood on the floor, Dean immediately got his gun out.
"Is that.. blood?" Charlie asked.
"No, Charlie it's ketchup." I say sarcastically.
"Sam? Cas?" Dean called out. He left to go find one of them.
Suddenly I heard footsteps, I turned around and Cas stopped, he stood there. His eyes widened when he saw me. He was shocked and didn't say anything for a moment.
"Lia? Is that really you?" Cas said, tears spilling down his cheeks. (Lia is her nickname Cas gave her)
"It's me." I smile.
He ran over to me hugging me, he wraps his arms around my waist. I hug him back. I was full on crying now.
"I missed you." Cas says.
"I missed you too."
Charlie walks up to us.
"Hey, Cas." Charlie smiles.
"Charlie?"
"Yep, it's me."
"Who brought you guys back?" Cas asked giving Charlie a hug.
"Gods sister," I reply. Mary walks in and pulls her gun out.
"Wait Mary, stop!" I yell, Cas pulled away and just looked at Mary confused.
"He's a friend." Charlie says. Mary lowers her gun.
"Are you a hunter?" Mary asked tilting her head.
"No, he's an angel." Charlie and I say.
"Excuse me?" Mary's eyes widen.
"He's an angel. A real angel, those exist." I explain to her.
"Mary, this is Castiel."
"Cas, this is Mary... Winchester." I explained to him.
"Your step mom?" Cas tilts his head.
"Step mom?" Mary asked clearly confused and I turn to her.
"My dad was John Winchester..." I look down.
Just then Dean walks in.
"Cas? What the hell happened? Where Sam? He isn't answering his phone. There's blood on the floor." Dean asked.
"I don't know. We came back here there was a woman waiting for us, she blasted me away. I don't know who she was or what happened to Sam." Cas explains.
"I don't understand, what happened?" I ask.
"The bunkers empty, so they obviously left here."
"You said she was a woman? Not an angel, not a demon? A human?" Dean asked.
"Yes. She was human."
"When did this go down?" Dean asked as he walks over to the computer.
"2:12AM." Cas replies.
There was a long silence before Dean finally says, "Got something."
"What?" Charlie says.
"An S.U.V ran a red light a few blocks from here at 2:21AM. And there wasn't another car for 40 minutes." Dean explains.
"Do you think it's them?" I ask.
"It's worth a shot."
-IN THE CAR-
We were on our way to get Sam when I noticed Cas staring at me.
"What?" I say looking at him.
"Sorry, it's just.. I... I've really missed you, Lia. And I'm glad you're back." Cas says. Charlie looks over and smiles.
They better get back together. Charlie thought.
"I know, I missed you too, Cas." I smile and he smiles back.
I've missed his smile.
"I missed yours too."
"What?" I tilt my head.
"You're smile, I've missed it. I thought I would never see it again." Cas says sadly.
"Cas are you reading my mind?"
He nods. I laugh laying down in his lap.
"What are you doing?" Cas asked me.
"I'm going to sleep." I reply looking up at him to see him smile.
"Lia... Can I tell you something?" Cas voice is suddenly serious.
"Sure."
"Please, don't get yourself killed again..."
There was a long silence and Cas looks away, with tears in his eyes.
"I love you.. And I don't wanna lose you again."
"...You still love me?" I ask surprised.
"Of course I do. I'll always love you. How can I not?" Cas says.
He probably means it in a friend way..
I sigh, "Okay Cas, I promise. I won't."
"Thank you." says Cas. I feel myself getting tired.
"Goodnight, Cas." I say tiredly.
"Goodnight, Lia."
As I fall asleep I feel Cas stroking my hair, I smile and feel my eyelids get heavy, and soon I fell asleep.
-A few hours later-
"Lia? Lia.. Wake up." Cas says moving hair out of my face.
I wake up blinking a few times.
"What? Are we here already?" I ask.
"Yeah."
We get out of the car and Cas walks up to the guy pouring something into the car.
"Jaime Ross?" Cas asked.
"Who's asking?"
"The blond woman that you drove yesterday, what was her name?" Cas walks up to him.
"Blond? Sorry mate, you got the wrong--" Jaime says before Cas head hits him.
"Cas!" I sigh.
"That's an angel?" Mary asked and Dean nods.
"Blonde. Name. Now!" Cas demands.
"I-I-I don't know her name." Jaime stutters.
"What do you know?"
-Two hours later-
We stopped at a coffee place Cas comes back with a cup holder with four coffees.
"Thanks," I say as he hands me it.
As I take a sip I realize it's Y/f/d (your favorite drink)
"You remembered?"
"Of course," Cas smiles.
"So are you guys back together?" I heard Charlie whisper. I turn my attention towards her.
"What?"
"You heard me." Charlie smiles.
"Um, no.." I look away.
"Oh come on, you guys obviously still have feelings for each other. Get back together," Charlie says.
"What makes you think that?" I ask.
"I saw the way you were looking at each other. And you guys said 'I love you'." Charlie smiles.
"No.. He just meant it in a friend way probably." I try to convince myself, Charlie just rolls her eyes.
"Ask him."
"After we find Sam." I whisper.
I look up to see Dean, "Did you find anything?" I ask.
"Yeah, I ran the uh, tail number that what's his face gave us, the plane that Evil Elsa flew in on, has diplomatic registry." And Cas sighs.
"Which means?" Mary asked.
"Which means it's flight planes are sealed. Unless you wanna hack the State Department." Dean explains.
"Who are these people?" Mary asked.
"Dean." Cas says. Me and Charlie turn our heads to see what he's looking at. We see a man getting stuff out of his trunk.
Dean gets up and follows the man.
"Dr. Marion, how bout' you let us in?" Dean says with a gun to his head.
He lets us in and he sits down.
"So, you dug the bullet out of his leg no questions asked?"
"She offered me one hundred grand." Dr. Marion says.
"And you just took it?" Charlie asked.
"Student loans are a bitch, okay?"
Cas had a look of anger on his face and lunged towards him, but I pulled him back.
"Cas, Cas stop." I say grabbing his arm.
"All right, look, she didn't give me her name." Dr. Marion says.
"When we were done, the driver bailed, I got paid, and then some other chick shows up, and they all drive away." He explains.
"And that's everything you know?" Mary asked.
"Yeah. Totally." He looks down. Obviously not telling the truth.
There was a few moments of silence.
"Hurt him." Mary says and Cas grabs him by the shirt.
"I have her phone number! Okay? Look, look, look. Look I don't know where they are, but she called me a couple hours ago-- A few hours ago, asking about the sedative I gave the guy. So... I've got her phone number." He explains and Cas let go of him.
He picks up the phone and calls her.
"Dr. Marion." A woman on the phone says.
"Yeah, I'm just calling, you know. To uh, check on the patient." He says nervously.
I sigh.
"Is everything alright, doctor?" The woman asked.
"Yeah, yeah, sure. Definitely..." He says.
I put my face in my hands. He's going to give everything away.
"I'm hanging up now." She says.
"Uh--" Dr. Marion says before Dean grabs the phone.
"Listen, bitch."
"I don't care who you are, or what you want. You have my brother." Dean says.
"Dean Winchester."
"I heard you were dead." The woman says.
"Well, you heard wrong. Now, I'm gonna give you one chance. Just one. To hand Sam back."
"Sorry, not possible." She says.
"Oh, you think you can run from me? Try it." Dean threatens her.
"Because when I find you, and I will find you. If he is not in one piece I will take you apart. You understand me?"
The lady hangs up and Dean smashes the phone.
We all get in the car and drive off.
"Now what do we do?" Charlie asked.
"Well, we got her phone number."
"Let's head back to the bunker, we'll put a trace on it." Dean explains.
Suddenly a car came out of nowhere and hit us. Knocking Mary unconscious.
"Mom?" Dean says.
Cas puts his hand on her shoulder.
"She's unconscious, but there's no serious damage."
"Cas, help her." I tell him. Me, Charlie, and Dean get out of the car.
"Dean and Aurelia Winchester. I presume." The british woman says.
"I thought you were dead."
"Yeah, I was. Who the hell are you?" I say in a harsh tone.
"You should be more careful with your location services on your phone."
"Are you one of them?" Dean asked.
"I'm one of them." The british woman says.
"Yeah," Dean walks up to her and grabs her by the shirt.
"You tell me where my brother is, and I might take it easy on you."
"Oh, please don't." She says clearly not scared.
Dean just looks at her, she grabs his shoulder, pushing him to the ground. I look at Charlie and back at the car. I notice the angel blade still in there. I look back towards Charlie and nod towards the car, she nods back. Charlie slowly backs away, making sure the british woman can't see her. Or hear her.
"Looking for this?" She says holding Dean's gun. She puts it on the car.
"So, round two? Anyone?" She looks around.
I run up to her, swiping my foot knocking her down. I pin her arms down with my knees. But she kicks me in the stomach. She gets up and I kneel to the side.
Fuck, that hurt.
She grabs the gun and aims it at us.
"You know, I would've thought that for three strapping lads like yourselves, you would have lasted a tad longer. But you know what they say. Good things must come to those--" She gets cut off by someone stabbing her in the back. She shoots making Dean move away.
Her body drops and we look up to see Charlie with an angel blade.
"Thanks, Charlie." I tell her getting up.
"You're welcome."
"What's going on?" Another voice catches our attention. It was Mary.
"It's handled, Mary. Don't worry."
-Twenty minutes later-
Dean, Cas, and Charlie were pushing the car into the ditch and I was sitting by Mary. She kept looking at her hands.
Dean walks back over and kneels in front of us.
"Found her cellphone in the car. Last phone call was made from Aldrich, Missouri. We're guessing Sam's probably around there."
"That's good." I say.
"Great." Mary says.
"You okay?" Dean asked her.
"No." Mary looks at the ground.
"I'm sorry, I just... I spent my whole life running from this, from hunting. And I got out. I never wanted this for you and Sam."
"Mom, I-I get it. I do. If I had kids, I wouldn't want them in this. But Sam and me.. Lia, Saving people, and hunting things. This is our life. I think we make the world a better place. I know that we do." Dean explains to her and Mary nods.
We all get in the car and drive off.
