TAG - AM AN DA, are you serious?

Lee Stetson rolled over expecting to see his wife laying there next to him, but she wasn't there. He grumbled as he heard her in the bathroom. He hated when he would wake up and she wasn't in the bed with him. " We are going to have to do something about this, Mrs. Stetson." He said to himself. He leaned up against the back of the bed and waited for his wife to come out of the bathroom.

Amanda stood inside the bathroom and heard her husband as he woke up. She reached into her robe pocket to make sure the little box she had gotten was still in there. She took a deep breath and opened the door. Lee looked up and watched as his wife made her way back to the bed. He pulled her close to him and kissed her forehead.

"You know, Amanda, we are going to have to do something about you getting out of our bed before I wake up."

Amanda giggled as she snuggled closer to Lee. " Sorry sweetheart, nature called. I can't help that. You can keep me here for the rest of the day if you would like."

Lee hugged her tighter. " You know, that sounds like a wonderful idea, Mrs. Stetson." He sighed and looked at her. " Amanda, I never got to thank you for something you did yesterday."

Amanda looked up at him. " Something that I did? What do you mean? You planned an incredible scavenger hunt for me and our wedding was so beautiful! People at the Agency are going to gossip about it for months!"

Lee chuckled. "You deserved it, Amanda. I was tired of the mystery marriage. I know you were too. Besides, everyone already knew we were married….well, except the boys. I don't know what we were thinking. We should have known it would come out eventually."

Amanda smiled " I know sweetheart. I am so glad you planned everything yesterday! It was absolutely perfect." She snuggled deeper in his arms and said "Now, what did you want to thank me for?"

Lee looked at Amanda. He brushed her hair off of her face and kissed her. When they broke apart he whispered "Thank you for going to see my parents. I can't tell you what that meant to me."

Amanda smiled "I know. I needed to talk to them anyway." Her brown eyes sparkled. Lee gave her a questioning look. "You had to talk to my parents? About what, Mrs. Stetson?"

Amanda sat up and reached into her robe's pocket. She pulled out a little box and set it in front of Lee. He joined her in sitting up and looked at the box. He started laughing "This was where you went when you ditched Turner isn't it? They couldn't figure out where you went."

Amanda giggled. " I saw him as I was heading back to the car when I was at the cemetery. I thought I saw Duffy a few times." She poked him as she giggled "And I saw you underneath the window at the house. Couldn't stay away huh, sweetheart?"

Lee laughed "Busted. I just had to know if you were having a good time. I was a bit worried when I found out they lost you. Francine all but tied me to a chair so I wouldn't go looking for you." He leaned over and kissed her. "So, what's in the box?"

"Why don't you open it and find out."

Lee grinned and opened the box. Inside were two little charms for Amanda's bracelet that she bought. One was a tiny little scarecrow and the other was a baby rattle. Lee looked at the charms and with tears in his eyes said "AM AN DA…are you serious?" He blinked the tears away as he watched his wife nod her head yes.

"That's one of the reasons I went to see your parents. I needed to tell them that they are going to be grandparents." Lee couldn't speak. He helped her clip the charms onto her bracelet and pulled her into an embrace. He whispered " I love you Mrs. Stetson. Are we really going to do this? A baby? OH MY GOSH!"

Amanda laughed, " Hey, I'm supposed to say that!"

Lee laughed along with his wife as he leaned down and kissed her passionately. He thought the journey they had been on was about to become a whole lot sweeter. And he couldn't wait.
