"He has him, Emily. Ian took Jack."

Liya was quiet, holding her breath. She was speechless. She didn't know what to say. She understood that Ian wanted to punish her for taking his son from him, but why would he take Aaron and Jack. It just didn't make any sense. Sure, Ian had threaten her team, but he also threatened to kill her. He thought he had succeeded too, so how did he find out about that she was alive.

'Did he see her?' She wondered, contemplating if she should have asked her father to put her on another case after Macsen was tracked back to D.C.

Maybe her error in judgement was going back to Tel Aviv instead of going to Paris like she was supposed to. Then she wouldn't be in this mess. Aaron and Jack would be safe and her children wouldn't have been kidnapped. She had convinced herself that being a Mossad operative was safer than witness protection, but maybe she was wrong.

Liya opened her mouth to say something, but unfortunately she didn't get a chance because the next voice she heard was Ian's.

"You've got twenty-four hours before I start cutting into Aaron. Once he's succumbed from the pain and blood loss, it will be Jack's turn." Ian informed, before hanging up the phone.

Liya stared straight ahead at Macsen, "Is this what you wanted? You wanted me? For what though?"

"I see I have your attention, Officer David." Macsen started, "I need some information."

"What kind of information?"

Liya observed Macsen's behavior as she heard his phone buzz this time. He was shifting his weight between his feet. He seemed nervous. But in a second, Macsen cleared his throat, standing up straight again, as he asserted his confidence.

"I need information on something called The Flock.

Liya pursed her lips together as she shook her head, "Never heard of it." Her face displaced no affect. She had a complete poker face.

"It is your father's operation."

"Okay." Liya added, "How does Ian Doyle fit into this?"

Macsen waved it off, "Oh…that. He's just out for revenge, and he wants his son back."

"That's not happening."

"Did I mention that this is time sensitive?" Macsen questioned, rhetorically, "Now tell me, what is Operation Flock?"

Liya blinked, "I really don't know."

She knew. Of course she knew, but she couldn't tell him. She had twenty-four hours to come up with a plan, not just for her escape, but also to rescue Aaron and Jack.

"Well, you better go find out. Otherwise, everyone you love dies. Ending with your sister and your children."

Liya let out a breath, "Let the girl go first, then, and only then, will I get you that information."

Her friends and family mean everything to her, but she could not jepardise the mission.

Macsen laughed, picking up the picture of Shula, "Oh…this, I don't have her, but she was instrumental. Now I know, you're telling the truth. Maybe that partner of yours knows. What's his name? Kiev?"

"Leave him out of this! He doesn't know anything."

Macsen donned a look of clarity as he grinned, "And now...now you're ready to talk. So…Operation Flock, what is it?"

Meanwhile back at NCIS, Ducky had cleared the kids. They were both healthy and hadn't been harmed in anyway by the marine or Macsen. Jethro sent Ziva home with the two kids. Timothy was trying to track down Liya and Macsen, but it was proving very difficult. This guy kept a really low profile.

"Find anything, McGeek?" Tony questioned

"This man is like a ghost. Actually, I think a ghost might be easier to find."

Tony frowned, "Aww…don't give up, McGoo."

Jethro and Leon were up in MTAC. Eli David was up on the screen. A little more light was shed onto Shula, and it all centered around something called Operation Flock. Shula is an Israeli child, that much is for sure, but she is not an ordinary child. She wasn't created in the usual way. There was something special about her DNA.

"Shula is Operation Flock." Eli said, "She is very important to the Israeli government. She is so much more than just one child that's why I sent Liya to find her."

"Why weren't we informed?" Leon asked

"It was a need to know." Eli replied

Jethro let out an exasperated, frustrated sigh. He hated dealing with Eli. This man was never straight forward with them. He always kept something back. He was always hiding something.

"How can we find Macsen?" Jethro asked

"Liya is taking care of that, and she's taking care of Shula too. You don't need to worry about this."

Leon spoke up, "Macsen has Liya, and Ian Doyle is involved. Does that name mean anything to you?"

On the screen, Eli's eyes grew twice their size. That was a name he hadn't heard in a while.

Eli nodded, "Yes. He's Declan's father. How is Ian involved?"

"He kidnapped an FBI agent and his son." Leon informed

Eli let out a breath, "Is it Aaron Hotchner and his son Jack?"

Jethro stared at Eli, "Is there something you're not telling us?"

"Not really. Just that my daughter really cares about Hotch and Jack. She'd do anything to protect them, but not at the expense of the mission. She's smart. She'll outsmart Macsen and get Shula, Hotch and Jack to safety." Eli explained.

In Macsen's safe house with him and Liya, as Liya was talking. She had kept up her end of the bargain. She had told him what Operation Flock was, so now it was time for him to keep up his end of the bargain. Macsen shot a text to Ian telling him to let the Hotchner father and son go.

"Shula was made in a lab." Liya said, "She's not just a child. I wouldn't want anyone to be near her when she triggers."

Macsen raised an eyebrow, "Seriously? Shula's a bomb?"

Liya smirked, giving a nod, "She's a doomsday weapon. A last line of defense."

"Your country wouldn't do that."

She shook her head, "No, your country wouldn't. My country however is at war."

"Okay. You're free to go."

"Where is Shula?"

Macsen just stared at her, keeping her in suspense.

"Where. Is. Shula?" Liya repeated

"She's…there was an accident."

Liya blinked, "What kind of accident?"

Macsen smiled, smugly, "Boom." He made the exploding motion with his hands.
