It was late : the lights in the appartement were off while the city lights shone through the window casting a neon glow into the fancy decorated room of Loba Andrade. The chocolate skinned woman let out a long sigh, her eyes fixated on the white ceiling above her, she just woke from a nightmare reminding her of the tragedy that was her family's death at the hands of that demon. ''Demonio bastardo'' she growled. Right now the thief was restless. ''I need a drink.'' She whispered. Of course she knew of places still open where she could get a drink. She was a thief knowing the night life was a logical outcome of her way of life. She needed a strong one to forget her problems.

Truth be told it was a fancy way of saying she was going to get shit faced, but she had manners, she wasn't an impolite brute. Sighing again Loba rose up from her bed, her silk night dress covering her voluptuous body and leaving a generous view of her cleavage. Loba always made a point to show off her curves. She was no cheap slut but she knew how men were weak dogs drooling at the sight of the exposed part of her breasts, weak dogs that could be manipulated and tricked. Getting herself dressed in her usual white corset and jacket with white tight pants and her six inch heel red and black boots. The thief took her silver cane and did her braids. After all it wasn't a date or anything important but Loba would remain a perfect image of feminine beauty even if she had to go buy pastas at the market.

Making her way through her fancy appartement she took her door keys and picked up a gun in her handbag just for good measure, the thief could pretty much beat up any weirdo that would try anything weird with just her cane and the hidden dispositive inside could help her pick up any weapon around but better be safe than sorry.

Stepping outside Loba inhaled the fresh air outside and listened to the low sounds of cars flying around and people chatting. Steadying herself she started walking making her way to the nearest open bar.

A neon pink storefront indicated the name of the bar and there were few people inside, perfect she would be alone to drink the nightmares away. Loba walked in, giving the usual seductive sway of her hips she made her way to the unoccupied bar stools and asked the bartender for a glass of cognac. While she waited the thief scanned the area : there was a couple sharing a romantic moment far in the back, a group of friends having a fun time drinking and laughing.

She turned back to the bartender as he brought her the drink she requested. Looking into the liquid she saw the face of her nightmares which made her snap to reality and down the drink in one go the burning feeling of alcohol assaulting her throat. ''Another'' she simply said and the bartender nodded. Fucking bastard that haunted her life the red metal of his mechanical body that yellow glow from his death stare and the white skull like mask. One day he'll pay, she swore it.

Someone sat next to her bringing her back to reality. ''Well if it isn't the posh thief'' she knew that voice, the rough edge, the bossy tone of course she would be here. So much for peace and quiet. ''What do you want, chica ?'' Loba said with a disinterested tone as she downed her second drink in one go again and asked for a third. She turned around and was met with chocolate skin, messy black hair with an undercut on the side, shit eating grin and brown eyes of none other than apex games professional military soldier : Bangalore.

The two of them had a complicated relationship. Loba had respect for her military experience and coolness in every situation even the most dire but she was a bitch plain and simple. She knew Bangalore disliked her because of her rich and high class upbringing but didn't say anything because she respected Loba's trauma.

''What is the meaning of all those drinks ? You got dumped by a rich CEO ?'' That didn't stop her from giving away comments about it though. ''As a matter of fact, no. No man is worth my time, they're all dogs wanting to get between my beautiful legs.'' Bangalore laughed out loud. ''That I respect.'' Loba shook her head and downed the third drink asking for one more. ''Didn't know you were a heavy drinker.'' The soldier said with a chuckle. ''I need it to keep that bastard away from my head.'' Loba answered with a dark expression. ''I see…'' As much as Bangalore disliked Loba's smug attitude she couldn't say anything mean in that moment she too lost family and even though she's convinced her brother is somewhere in the galaxy she can truly understand the thief's pain.

It left a silence as Loba had downed her fourth drink and asked for a fifth. At this point Bangalore could either respect the thief's private space and leaves or she could try to lighten up the mood.

''You say no man is worth your time, what about a woman.'' The soldier tried to joke and Loba curled an eyebrow laughing shortly after. ''Why would you ask that captain ? Do you mean that you would be better than those rich snobs as you like to call them ?'' Loba was trailing her long red polished nails on the rim of her glass with a smirk on her lips. ''I didn't say me.'' Bangalore retorted. ''True… but I don't see any woman who would want me so unless you know one that does I assume you were talking about you.'' The smirk grew tenfold.

Bangalore was a soldier not a master of flirting and Loba could see through her easily when she tried it. Come to think of it, they were flirting as much as they were throwing verbal jabs at each other, maybe there was something more behind all this disliking of each other. ''You got me there but I guess I can't play this game with a master of it.'' Loba chuckled ''Indeed as a thief in the high society you need to read people like books.'' The thief shrugged.

''So what if I was suggesting what you thought ?'' Bangalore pressed on and Loba downed her fifth glass of the night. ''I thought you were a woman of action not words. I wouldn't want to get the wrong idea.'' By the end of her sentence her voice was barely above a whisper. ''I am.'' Bangalore answered. ''But can you handle me ?'' Loba said with a seductive tone ''I'm sure I've handled worse.'' Bangalore said with a proud smirk. ''Show me'' was all Loba needed to say.

She lost, the soldier lost the game she began as Loba was devouring her lips, the kiss felt good so good in fact that it got moans from her. At first Bangalore had pinned the thief to a wall but now she was at her mercy and it felt very good.

Bated breath filled the room as both the soldier and the thief were naked in each other's arms, their bodies warm with all the contact and powerful highs they experienced throughout the night. Loba was at peace, no Revenant to haunt her, just the warmth of Bangalore's body. ''Thank you.'' she muttered before falling asleep.

''Let me go, I'll be a dead weight in my condition. We'll see each other after the battle.'' Bangalore said as she was wounded and down on the ground. ''And miss your struggling sexy face ? Not today mi amor.'' Loba said, patching her lover with a syringe. ''Climb on my back we're making a run for it.'' The ring was closing in on them as they were one of the two last squads left standing. Their third squad mate was unfortunately Revenant and Loba could let him die any day but not the soldier, not her lover, not the one that chased the nightmares away.

Loba put her on her back and ran trying to dodge the last squad because of their current predicament. Once it was safe she gave Bangalore a med kit and let her patch herself. ''Way better when you're the one patching me'' Bangalore grunted. ''True I love seeing you groan and struggle. It turns me on but let's save the flirting for after we win.'' Loba took her wingman in hand and aimed ahead.

The sound of shots being fired attracted her attention as Revenant was down and she saw the last squad ''So if I get a bigger number of frags I get to have you do whatever I want for a week ? Thank you for your service then.'' Loba smirked, as she threw her ring in the air Bangalore realized what she meant three shots were fired and the soldier knew what had happened. ''Mother fu…''
