chapter 2: The Beginning of a waiting game
After 1 year of Naruto being under the hands of Nara Shikaku it was shown that Naruto had a great promise of being a shinobi... He was well intelligent as he's iq was shown to be over 200 Nara Shikaku actually requested Lord 3rd to put Naruto on the academy early than what he supposed to... Naruto was currently 7 and he was supposed to go to the academy at the age of 10 and end the academy at the age of 12... But now... Now it was different Naruto would take the academy at the age of 7... He's father actually finished the academy at the age of 7... Then the lord 3rd questioned himself... "Is he gonna become another minato?" Which that meant that Naruto could rather take the flying thunder god to the next level... And if could do that that meant he could also master the rasengan since it was an incomplete jutsu... Then the lord 3rd agreed with himself and he then said to Nara Shikaku "since your request is to put Naruto in the academy early I shall take this request and I must see what the boy learnt in the Nara compound... And for a clan head requesting such thing to a child that is not from their clan is actually quite surprising to me..." Nara Shikaku nodded and grinned... And he then said "I must say I'm really surprised on how smart the little boy is... I must also say that learns pretty quick which I'm happy to say that I'm satisfied with... And I also picked some information about the boy while I was watching him within the shadows... First thing that I noticed is that he meditates way too much than he supposed too... I say it has something to do with the demon fox within him... But I don't want to only jump on conclusions... Second thing is that the boy is more intelligent than he is supposed to... Whatever the villagers had done to him it made him Mature way to quickly but I must say he still has alot of goofiness which I love to see time to time... Third and last thing is... Well he really is much like he's father I believe he will become a genin quickly enough I believe he will surpass everyone on he's academy class... I may also say that I believe in a few years he will surpass every single chunnin that is in konoha right now... He has a way of thinking that no one does and it's quite fitting for him..." The 3rd hokage just stared the Nara on he's thinking pose... Trying to calculate every single thing of a information the he picked up from the Nara... He then preceded and questioned "very well but... I came into conclusion that I need to put him in special training with a certain someone am I right?.." he questioned the Nara... The Nara simply nodded and said "well yes I don't have anything that I could teach anymore... Maybe you could talk with the certain someone and call me whenever you need me.. can I be dismissed now lord 3rd?..." The 3rd hokage nodded...
The next day Lord 3rd was on he's office with someone... Lord 3rd then started saying... "So Kakashi... Will you actually step down from anbu and train Naruto?... I know you have a soft spot for him since he was the son of your sensei..." Kakashi was surprised... But he just dumbly nodded not processing what was happening... After 2 minutes he stared at the hokage and he simply asked... "But if I step down on anbu that means I will be a Jonin and that means I will have a team from the academy in the future..." The 3rd Hokage nodded and then smiled... "Don't worry kakashi I will make sure to put a team that you will like when the time comes... Naruto is gonna start the academy early so I don't know if I can put him in a team... Only because I believe he will take the genin test early like he's father did when he was 7... But you can always watch Naruto from the shadows and prevent any harm that the villagers might do to him..." The 3rd stared at Kakashi and nodded... Kakashi was just dumb founded he didn't know that Naruto could be such a strong personality never breaking when the villagers tried to kill him but yet here he was going to the academy earlier than expected...
Naruto was walking around the Nara compound just thinking about everything he had done in he's life so far... Then someone just broke he's thought Calling he's name... Naruto turned around to see Shikamaru Calling him that means He's father was back at he's house and he made Shikamaru call Naruto to come with him... Naruto just raised a brow but just shrugged it away... He followed Shikamaru to he's house and then he saw Shikaku just waiting for him on the door steps... Shikaku then proceeded to say... "Come Naruto Sit down... We have something to discuss.. If you want Shikamaru you can also sit here and listen" Shikamaru just said "no it's gonna be a drag... I'm going to lay down and watch the clouds" Naruto just sat down and he's mind was just wondering what the hell was happening for the clan head to call him and talk with him... Yes Naruto knew Shikaku was a clan head since he was taken inside the compound... Shikaku broke the silence when he said... "So you are confused about why you are here... No your not in trouble in the first hand well... Second it's because I requested for you to start the academy early... And I must also tell you also that you will have some special training with someone that is special to ninjutsu..." Naruto was just dumbfounded just looking at Shikaku with wondering eyes and Naruto then Said... "Why did you do that for me Shikaku-sama?" Shikaku was just staring at Naruto and said "drop the formalities... But I did that because you are actually smart for your age and it's quite surprising... Not for me but for other people is..." Naruto just nodded and then he questioned... "So what am I supposed to do while I'm waiting to start the academy and my training with my personal teacher?" Shikaku just stared Naruto and he said... "Well you can just train your chakra control while you perform tree walking since you don't seem to be good at it still... And I know why... But that's something that we will talk about in the future not now... Now go train because you will need to learn chakra control... Good luck Naruto..."
