Hello everyone! Sorry for the late update, school is getting intense now and had to be my prior focus for a while.
There are two reasons.
Reason one: so because of this I think I should explain why it takes me so long to update most of the time.
It's mostly due to how my school sets up its classes. We don't have normal semesters and we don't have normal breaks. It's a private art school and we graduate in two years (or sometimes 29 months) instead of the traditional four years.
Basically, we do a little more than four years of college in around two years which, not gonna lie, is a lot of freaking work.
This is a school that specializes in entertainment upon graduation and a lot of my alumni have been known to work on some of the biggest movies, music, animation, and tv projects in the entertainment business.
All throughout our academic stay, we build our portfolio so we can be ready upon graduation. But because of this, we sacrifice long breaks and normal semesters for shorter periods at school to graduate.
I've been in school for 10 months now and have remained in the classes' top 10% in academics and I'm trying to keep it that way all throughout. I'm currently in the creating writing department and that's where my focus has been it's also allowed me to network with some companies I want to work for.
That's also where reason two comes in.
Reason two: I'M WORKING ON A LIGHT NOVEL SERIES.
I'm trying to debut my writing career professionally so I can assemble my reputation before I graduate and that's why I've also been gone for a while.
I was setting up behind the scenes by contracting my wonderful illustrator, copyrighting my original works, and still looking to hire a professional editor who understands web fiction/light novels in anime inspirations.
I can't reveal much yet but I can say the story will involve the concept of grim reapers like you've never seen them before.
Volume 1 will be making its debut towards the end of this year or into the new year. If you would like to follow my progress on it or follow me as I start my debut career as a self-published light-novelist follow me on Instagram and Twitter The Gothic Writer
Once again I am SO sorry for delaying here!
I don't want anyone to think I gave up on my stories. I didn't but priorities always change between my full time at school, my full time at work, and beginning my writing career. I will update these when I have the time but please expect shorter chapters in the future.
I owe a lot to fanfiction for helping me practice my craft and I thank so many of you for enjoying my books and really helping me shape myself into the writer I am.
Thank you for understanding and till next time!
