Erik got back from tribunal and it has been hell. The day after he brought home Jessica the newborn vampire and I hate her. She threatened to drain Draco. I must tell Erik about this, but I am afraid he will believe her.
I finally get Erik in his office with just Draco and I. Draco was sitting at his dad's desk eating his diner. I close the door and Erik walks over to me wrapping his arms around me.
"Erik, Jessica needs to go." I say
"Why? She's just an unstable newborn." He asks.
"She told Draco she wants to drain his blood. I don't want that around our son. I also don't want someone who wants to kill me for you around him and I." I explain.
"She threatened you and Draco!" He rages.
Draco looks up "Love will you tell Daddy what you told me." I tell him.
"The mean girl said she wanted all my blood." He says looking up at his dad with wild eyes. Erik vamps over to Draco and picks him up and holds him.
"She will never ever hurt you my boy." Erik says kissing Draco's forehead. Draco curls into his father. "Okay she has to go"
"I'm glad you agree." I say.
A few days after Jessica finally leaves. Draco Erik and I are at the mall. Erik's got a new short hair cut. Draco wanted his hair cut like that too, so Pam cut his as well. I have Draco in his stroller just pushing him around checking out for clothes for Erik, Draco and myself. Erik and I see Bill in a female clothing store. We walk in to greet him.
"Good evening old sport" Erik says while walking up.
"Hello Bill." I say
"Erik." Bill greets
"It's the new me. You like?" Erik says
"I quiet like it and so does Draco." I say while chuckling.
"I do too" Bill says "Very much"
The sales associate walks off.
"We need to talk." Erik says "The sheriff of Area 9 in Texas has gone missing. Have you heard about this?"
"I hadn't but I know the vampire of whom you speak his name is Godric. Correct?" Bill says. Godric, Erik's maker like a father to us both. I hope he gets the chance to meet Draco. I think he would like Draco very much. We got a call from Isobell a while back telling us Godric has gone missing. Hopefully when we had up there we can find him.
"Indeed" Erik replies "It goes without saying he needs to be found." We start to walk out of the store "Which is here Sookie comes in."
"No" Bill immediately disagrees.
"She's yours I'm asking your permission to take her with me to Dallas." Erik explains
"Erik you can do what ever you want with me, but I am not putting her in this position anymore. I can not and will not allow you to bring her into these matters." Bill says confidently
"We made a deal, your human and I. If I didn't kill anyone, she would work for me as often as I like. You remember this don't you? You were there." Erik says calmly
"Taking her across state lines is a far cry from taking her to fangtasia for the evening." Bill says
"I'm only asking your permission out of respect. If I want her I can simply take her." Erik says
"No Erik, I you should ask her permission she deserves a say." I butt in
"Is no your final answer?" Erik says ignoring me.
"Yes" Bill seethes
"Poorly played bill." Erik says taking the stroller and my hand and we walk off. We finish up our shopping then head home to drop off the shopping.
Later on that evening Draco Erik and I are at Fangtasia after close. Draco and I are sitting in my Husbands Throne while he deals with paperwork. All of a sudden the door slams open and Bill comes in carrying a half dead Sookie.
"Erik!" I yell "Draco go get your daddy then sit at his desk and color for a little while. Okay baby?"
"Okay mommy" He says and runs off to his father's office yelling daddy the whole way.
Erik comes out and immediately gets on the phone with Ludwick he gets her to come. I go run to the office knowing I need to be there for Draco. I place a charm around Draco so he doesn't hear anything beyond the room. That way I can come out when the healing is done. Bill and Erik join us in the office.
"Draco, you coloring?" Erik asks.
"HMMM" Draco says nodding his head.
"What are you coloring?" Erik questions.
"Dwagons" Draco answers.
"Head of a bull" Erik says when Bill walks in. Erik starts pacing the office.
"That what she said" Bill answers. "It was dark. It all happened in seconds."
"No excuse Bill. Everything can be broken down." I say
"So you didn't see this bull man?" Erik asks
"No" Bill says
"And you gave her your blood?" I ask
"It didn't work" Bill says shifting his weight from one foot to the other. "You ever heard of anything like this?"
"Sur[risingly no" Erik says
They both turn to me "I'll check the grimoire , but off the top of my head no." I say
"No" Draco butts in.
"Over course you haven't my boy. Your mother would have made is disappear" Erik says while ruffling his hair Draco then gets back to coloring after smiling up at his dad.
"Pam, Chow" Erik calls "I thought in over a thousand years I thought I had seen everything there was to see." Erik says to Bill "Search the woods around highway 71" Erik orders Pam and Chow.
"He can do it. I'm wearing my favourite pumps." Pam says
"Du hörde vad jag sa." Erik says to Pam which I translate to Draco as you heard what I said. "She is extremely lazy, But loyal. Hows yours, Jessica?"
"Petulant, Dangerous and afraid" Bill replies.
"I'm glad to see you two are bonding. Being a good maker is very rewarding." Erik explains.
