Long time ago far away from the Mushroom Kingdom.
A place called Sunbright Kingdom.
It was usually a peaceful place.
Before disater strucks.
The disater was called The Flames Of Disater.
The one causing the disater was a beast made of blue fire.
Their flames spread far across Sunbright.
The flames took so much from the people mainly their lives
The people were getting desperate.
To desperate...
Some of the people of Sunbright decided to join the side of the beast.
Was it out of them wanting to be spared? Or did they want something else?
Nobody knew.
The beast's newly formed army and their flames just kept taking from Sunbright.
Until...
The people had enough.
They had enough suffering...
They had enough watching...
They had enough just standing there...
They had enough watching the people they love die.
They had enough of just standing there and waiting for something to change.
They rose up towards the beast and their army.
They showed no mercy to the beast's army.
They were saw as nothing but...
Traitors...
But the beast still stood there.
It was hard to even get close to the beast with their blue flames...
They had no choice but run away from the beast and find shelter.
But in this shelter they found something.
Found something that could help them.
Help them stop the beast.
It was a lantern.
But it was no ordinary lantern.
It had the power to capture and seal away anyone.
The lantern was their key to stop this beast.
They exit their shelter to confront the beast once more.
The beast ready to burn them with their flames.
The people of Sunbright opened the lantern and pointed it towards the beast.
The flames it sparyed went into the lantern as well as it trying to absorb the beast.
The beast tried it's hardest to defy the lantern's force.
But it was all in vain as the beast was sealed away into the lantern.
Cheers were heard as they finally stopped the beast.
It was all over.
The beast was gone.
But...
The army wasn't.
There was survivors.
So the people of Sunbright had the lantern protected.
They didn't want the beast to be released again.
Sunlight Town
" So that's the history of The Flames Of Disater."
A Swoop with a yellow bow around his neck closed the book before turning to a Bomb Boo with a purple jester hat. " Pretty dark stuff right Boomy?"
Boomy with a morbid expression asks " Why did you read that to me?"
" Well you are a Boo so I thought you like dark stuff like that."
" Well one! I'm a BOMB Boo. Second! Just because i'm a dead doesn't mean I like dark stuff like that!"
The Swoop gave off a nervous laugh. " O-Oh sorry Boomy..."
Boomy sighed " It's fine I guess just don't ever read that story to me again..."
"Right..."
Boomy expression changed to a much more cheery one. " Well anyway let's go and meet up with Flora and Bugzy."
Boomy went ahead leaving the Swoop behind causing him to quickly put the book back in it's place and chase after his friend. " W-Wait for me Boomy!"
" It's not my fault you're a slow Pokey, Sam."
Sam sighed as he flied next to his friend as Boomy went through the wall causing Sam to bump right into the wall and fell right back down onto the floor with a thump Boomy went back and gave a nervous laugh. " Oh right you're not a ghost. Sorry!"
Sam groaned as he flew off the floor and opened the door to join his friend. " Why do you forget that I can't go through walls?"
"Dunno guess i'm just used to going through walls by myself."
"Wait... But I met you only a few days after you died!"
"Huh I guess it wasn't that long then."
Sam chuckled " You're such a comedian Boomy!"
Boomy grins " Why yes i'm Sam!"
Sam decided to joke along " You're not Sam i'm Sam!"
Boomy giggled at Sam's joke " Pfft of course there's only one!"
Both of them shared a laugh with each other. "Wait what were we doing...?"
They both looked at each other blicking before laughing again. " Pfft! We forgot again!"
" Yeah! We did it's always like this when we joke with each other!"
Boomy slowly stops laughing his face turning a bit serious. " But uh seriously what WERE we doing?"
Sam stops laughing before trying to think. " Umm I think it had to do with flowers and bugs?"
" Was it?" Boomy asked confused.
Sam went back to thinking. " Umm we were going to see someone named uhh Daisy! No wait Rosey! No that's not right Tulip? Ughhh Lily? Nononon! Not any of them I know her name was a flower name ummm..."
" Wasn't her name Flora?"
Sam grinned at his friend. " Yes FLORA! Man how did I forget?"
" Maybe slamming into the wall gave you an concussion?"
"Boomy do you know what an concussion is?"
" Not in the slightest." Sam sighed at his friend.
Sam went back to his thoughts " And we also going to see Bugzy as well!"
Boomy looked over at his friend. " How can you remember Bugzy's name correctly but couldn't recall we were going to see Flora but recalled Bugzy right away?"
" Dunno maybe her name was to long or something."
Boomy looked at his friend unamused. " Riiight to long sure Sammy."
" Yeah! Anyway where are they?"
Boomy thought for a moment then grinned. " Maybe she went for wander out of town she likes to do! Less crowds and Bugzy is most likely with her."
Sam got close to his friend. " Yeah Bugzy can't leave her all alone! She may not like crowds but she also doesn't like being alone."
Boomy went ahead again. " Well let's go find them!"
Sam flapped his wings a bit faster to catch up. " Boomy! Stop going ahead of me! Friends travel side by side not one goes ahead and the other is left behind!"
Boomy gave his friend a side hug. " Hey you know I don't mean that. I just want to see Flora and Bugzy!"
" Well you want to do a side by side race?"
" You're on Sam!"
The both of them raced at each other side through the town both of them laughing with each. While also accidently causing a bit of commotion with the townsfolk.
" They're at it again. Great..."
" Hi Boomy! Hi Sam!"
" Watch it you two!"
" Boomy...Sam..."
" Go! Boomy!"
Some of the townsfolk moved out of their way while they were racing. While some of them they had to make sure to not crash into them but Boomy being a Boo had no problem than doing a ghostly thing and just pass right through them while Sam flies around them. Sam notices they have reached the entrance to the town and motioned for Boomy to slow down. Boomy looked over at him and gave a nod as they both slowed down and looked up at the entrance. A sign off to the left of them said 'Sunlight Town' Boomy and Sam both look at each other with a smile. " Let's go find Flora and Bugzy!"
They both high fived or the best they could do with a wing and a arm. Which resulted to cause Sam to fall to the floor and groans. " I swear this is becoming a gag or something!"
" Pfft! Maybe it is Sam or you really love the floor."
" No! We Swoops pride the air and flight!"
" Cool Sam." Boomy floats down next to Sam and pulls him up by his wing and he flaps his wings and takes flight once again.
Grace Fields
They both look towards the fields outside of the town with flowers blooming across Sam smiles. " Well she's with her own kind now."
" Other Spindrifts?" Boomy asked confused
" N-No flowers Boomy."
" Ohhhh right that makes a lot more sense now."
They both go across fields seeing different flowers spreading across until they hear a familiar voice. " Bugzy careful sweetie you'll get hurt."
" Flora you know I love to jump around it's my thing!"
" FLORA! BUGZY!" Boomy and Sam both yelled together.
The Spindrift who was much taller than a normal Spindrift with a lily for a flower head and two leaves at the front to two bended ones at the back she also kept her eyes closed. A Gnarantula who was a green a yellow one with a piece of cloud going across her neck and over her shoulder if a bug could have shoulders. " Oh Boomy and Sam good to see you. Done reading that story to Boomy?"
" Yeah it was great!"
" No it wasn't."
Bugzy laughed. " Yep that story is really not good for faint of heart or ones that really don't like hearing about people being burned alive."
" But Boomy doesn't even have a heart he's dead!" Sam said pointing at Boomy.
" Sammy...I'm so close to hitting you." Boomy said with an umamused look.
Sam gave a nearvous laugh at Boomy as he just sighed in annoyance while Flora and Bugzy laughed at them. " Oh you two."
" Pfft yeah you two are great friends."
" So why were you two looking for us?" Flora asked.
" What can't we just come and find you guys just to hang out?" Sam asked offened by Flora's question.
Flora smiled " I'm sorry sweetie so what do you want to do?"
Sam opened his mouth to speak but left it open then his face turned to an unsure one. " I have no idea I guess just hang out?"
" Of course you have no idea." Bugzy said.
"BUGZY!" Flora yelled.
"Sorry Flora..."
Flora stared right at Bugzy waiting..." Oh you didn't want an apology. Right..."
" Heh sorry Sam."
" Apology accepted! After all we're all friends here." Sam pulled Boomy closer with his wing.
" Well Boomy and I are a lot closer so him and I are best friends while you two are also my friends you get it right?"
Boomy gave a chuckle and smiled a Sam. " Well of cours-"
Before Boomy could continue they heard screams coming from the direction coming from far behind them. " Wait...Those screams there coming from..."
"Sunlight Town..." Sam finished Boomy sentence.
Flora and Bugzy stood beside them with the same concern look. " Something is going on in Sunlight Town!"
" How did something bad happen in the town when we just left!? We would of saw someone enter that looked suspicious or something!" Sam explained.
"Unless..."
They all turned to Flora confused. " Unless what..?"
"They were already in the town when you two left."
The three of them had scared looks concerned for the town and townsfolk's safety. " But why is there something attacking our town? It's not that special."
" Maybe they're criminals and trying to rob the place?" Bugzy tried to offer an answer.
" Yeah if they were why make a big scene about it?" Sam countered back.
" Well fear helps with getting more stuff to steal."
Boomy holding his head annoyed yelled. " AHHHHHH! I DON'T CARE WHY THEY'RE HURTING OUR TOWN! WE GOT GET BACK THERE TO HELP!"
While suprised by Boomy's sudden outburst all nodded in agreement and went back towards Sunlight Town.
