The distinct tap of a cane is Tifa's only warning before a white suit appears next to her in the checkout lane. Of all the corner stores in Edge, she thinks, blushing, of course this is the one Rufus Shinra frequents.
Tifa rushes to explain the bottle the clerk is bagging up. "For Denzel." She smiles weakly, avoiding Rufus's gaze. "You know...a boy his age never gets enough fiber in his diet…"
"Indeed," Rufus says. There's a huff of amusement before he sets his lone purchase—a box of pills—on the counter. "Apparently a boy Reno's age has the opposite problem."
