Chapter 2:

They were still all joking around when the new Ash Hale and his entourage entered Dean ordered another beer as he asked, "How ya doin' Ashie?"

Hale chuckled; for he really liked the mercurial acerbic hunter with the razor tongue and cunning wit. He said I need to hire you."

Dean shot him a cold glare as he growled, "I ain't for sell Ashie. You damned well know that."

Hale seeing that he had hurt the younger man's ego he said, "Alright then I need a favor."

Dean's lips twisted in an amused smirk as he asked, "What is it, Ashie?"

Hale shook his head as he asked, "I don't suppose I could get you to quit calling me that?"

Dean retorted, "Not a chance Ashie."

Hale gave a hearty laugh as he said, "I really missed you bro."

Dean raised his beer as he said the same thing. Then Hale sobered up and said in a very serious, "I really need your help bro."

Dean instantly came alert; for Hale did not often ask for help he said, "Whatever ya need bub I''ve got you."

Hale shot him a grateful look as he said, "Thanks; I need you to track down a Dark Fae Shapeshifter by the name of Paul Hawthorne. He's been assaulting and/or killing women and framing their husbands then killing them once they were in prison."

Dean utterly despised Shapeshifters: he had ever since one slaughtered his family. He remembered quite vividly how his mother had sent a 4-year-old him to hide and he hadn't come out until days later when his dad had found him. He also remembered the horrific sounds of his mother and her two sisters being slaughtered. He would find out later that his family was targeted and slaughtered because his mother and his two aunts were widely feared and reviled hunters in the supernatural community as was both families and for that an assassin was sent after them. Dean growled, "Yea; I'll gank it."

Hale asked, "You need anything from the Light?"

Dean replied as he finished his beer and ordered another beer, "Yea all the Intel you have on this asshat."

Hale said, "I can do that; I'll send it over tomorrow. Right now, just enjoy being home."

Dean happily agreed; he hadn't had a home since that night 31 years ago. His dad tried to give him a home but it's really hard to make a fleabag motel room a home and he had stayed in them for years and to finally to be t to find a place like this with people like this. Dyson asked, "Is Bobby coming or you solo?"

Dean was about to answer when the unmistakable rumble of his dad's black 1983 GMC Sierra could be heard within the Dal. Dyson chuckled, "I got my answer."

The words had just left his mouth when Dean's father Bobby Campbell stepped inside. looked like an older version of Dean except he was missing his left eye, had salt and pepper hair cut in a crew cut and a thick salt and pepper beard. The grizzled old hunter's face split into a big grin as he saw everyone at the bar. When his eyes landed on his son and Kenzi, he felt his heart swell with pride; for after everything Dean had been through, he had managed to find love and a home among the light Fae. He didn't fully trust the Fae be they light or dark it was just his ingrained belief that nobody in the supernatural community could be fully trusted, with but a few exceptions; Trick of course; he had known the Blood King since 1973 when he returned from Vietnam and resumed hunting. He had known both Hale and Dyson for just as long. He had met both Bo and Kenzi a little over 18 months ago. He locked eyes on Tamsin as he rumbled in rough gravelly voice, "New partner wolf boy?"

Dyson chuckled as Tamsin chuckled as she sized Bobby up and asked in a sultry voice, "Are you Dean's father?"

Bobby drawled, "I sure am darlin' and who might you be?"

Tamsin shot him a seductive look as she replied, "I'm Tamsin; I'm a Valkyrie."

Dean asked as Kenzi hopped up to give Bobby a huge hug, "You on a hunt Dad?"

Bobby replied as He gave his hopefully future daughter-in-law a huge bear hug, "I heard you were here and wanted to see my boy and my future daughter-in-law."

Both Dean and Kenzi laughed, albeit for different reasons; Dean knew his father was trying to tell him he should settle down with Kenzi which he was a little hesitant to do and Kenzi; because she desperately hoped it would happen. Not since Nate left her had she been in a relationship, but unlike Nate She truly loved Dean. Sure, she had tried to have a relationship with Hale, but it had failed before it ever really began. She gave Dean a deep kiss as she plopped back on her lap. Bo quipped, "There are open chairs you know."

Kenzi stuck her tongue out at Bo as she retorted, "I know but my baby's lap is very comfortable."

Dean asked, "Ready for our tradition?"

They all replied yes as Trick set up 8 shots of Código 1530 Origen. They all picked them up and Bobby said, "To everyone we've lost in this war Semper Fi."

And with they all downed the shots. Then he ordered a draft Budweiser and the exact same meal Dean had ordered. When he as done Dean order another beer and a huge piece of chocolate pie with whipped cream on top. When he got the pie, he took a bite and savored the rich sweet flavor and said as he took a drink of his beer, "Trick my man you make one helluva pie."

Bobby piped up, "Makes a damn good burger too."

Dean nodded as he continued to eat his pie. Then once both Dean and Bobby were done eating Dean challenged his dad to a drinking contest involving Jim Beam Devils Cut. By 2:30 both men were very drunk and never established a winner. Bo, Tamsin and Hale helped get Dean back to Bo and Kenzie's apartment while Dyson and Trick got Bobby into Trick's spare room. Once both men were laid down, they were out immediately.

I decided to add Dean's father Bobby. He based on a mix of John Winchester and Bobby Singer
