Brittany smiles lovingly as she crouches down in front of her and gently places her free hand on her thigh holding onto the flowers with her other hand. ''These two flowers symbolize the same meaning.'' She explains softly as her eyes lock on tear filled brown orbs, she gently taps the Lilacs she holds and smiles shyly. ''These Lilacs symbolize the first emotions of love, as much as I tried to deny it around everyone at first there is no denying that you are the one who broke through all of my defenses and managed to make me feel a lot of things that I never felt before.''
She runs her thumb over her thigh as she hears her soft sniffle and licks her lips glancing at their friends, she gulps as Puck just shoots her an encouraging wink and locks her eyes with her girlfriend again. ''Pink Peonies represent love at first sight, I can't really tell you if I loved you the first moment I saw you, or if it was the second, third or fourth glance.'' She continues softly keeping their eyes locked smiling shyly as she sees the recognition slowly forming in her soulful brown orbs.
''But I do remember the first moment I looked at you standing at the desk during your very first period with us and realized that somehow the rest of the world seemed to vanish whenever you were around.''
Santana sniffles a tear dripping down her cheek as she listens to Brittany reciting a slightly changed version of a quote out of her favorite book Clockwork Prince and gulps thickly. ''Britt.'' She murmurs her voice cracking, her head dropping as the emotions overtake her.
Brittany places the flowers in Puck's awaiting hands and scoots closer her hands coming up to cup Santana's cheeks, she brushes her thumbs over her cheekbone catching the tears dripping down and ducks her head to lock eyes with her. ''I love you Santana Lopez.'' She whispers softly voice filled with emotions. ''I think I did ever since I laid my eyes on you but, I am sure you know how slow I can..''
She gasps softly her hand shooting out to grab the edge of the bank Santana is sitting on as she suddenly grabs the collar of her shirt to pull her into a kiss effectively cutting her off and curls her other arm around her waist to pull her closer with a soft hum, she smiles into the kiss as their friends cheer, chuckling as she feels Santana smile too and gently squeezes her waist.
Santana pulls back leaning their foreheads together after flipping their friends off chuckling as they just fake gasp imagining their dramatic behavior and leans her forehead against Brittany's gazing into sparkling blue orbs. ''I don't care about you being slow.'' She whispers with a soft chuckle, she gently cups her cheek running her thumb over her cheek and bites her lip trying to contain her big grin. ''I love you too Britt-Britt.''
Brittany just smiles slowly standing up pulling Santana with her and dips her head to kiss her once again, she cups her cheek covering their mouths for their friends as Santana tilts her head to deepen the kiss and pulls her closer with her other arm wrapped around her waist.
She pulls back as the soft murmur of the other students reach her ears and gulps thickly with a sheepish grin. ''Fuck, totally forgot about the onlookers.''
Santana just laughs softly nuzzling her head under her chin and wraps her arms around her waist just enjoying the strong and warm embrace. ''Fuck them, all I care about is you and those nerds we call our friends.''
''Fuck you S.'' Quinn quips with a soft laugh as she walks up to the couple sharing a loving embrace, she circles her arms around their waist effectively pulling the both of them in a hug and shoots them a smirk as they both look at her. ''Thank god you pulled your head out of your ass B.''
''Shut up Fabray, I might be slow but Noah is pictured as soon as we search for the word slow in a dictionary.'' She laughs as their friends just join the group hug hearing Puck's soft scoff and locks eyes with each of them. ''Thank you all for your help though, I couldn't have pulled this off without your help.''
''Girl we just had to jump on board the second you told us what you have planned.'' Mercedes tells her with a soft shake of her head. ''We never experienced this side of you but seeing you go soft for the only girl who ever broke past your defenses is amazing.''
''It sure is B.'' Tina agrees with a grin, she turns to Santana and winks. ''Happy birthday again San.''
''Best birthday ever.'' Santana breaths out with a huge grin, Brittany just smiles lovingly and kisses her head.
''There is more to come San.'' She murmurs softly. ''We have a free period before school ends seeing Holly had private matters to take care of today, so Figgins allowed all of us to leave after lunch.''
''Which is now.'' Puck tells them with a chuckle as the bell rings, Brittany hums pulling out of their group hug while keeping her arm wrapped around Santana's shoulders and locks eyes with the group.
''Meet you there?'' She turns to Santana as they nod their heads grabbing their trash and winks as she just watches them in confusion. ''We won't spill anything, but I am sure you will love it.'' She drops her arm from around her shoulder to intertwine their hands and tugs on it as she walks towards the exit. ''Come on.''
Half an hour later
After they grabbed the flowers Santana received during the day and met up with the group in the parking lot all of them ignoring the soft murmurs and glances they received on their way out, Brittany drives them back to Santana's house parking her car beside Maribel's in the drive way and kills the engine sliding out before Santana can question her.
''B what else do you have up your sleeve?'' Santana asks as she follows her up the steps to the front door knowing their friends are already inside, Brittany just rings the doorbell even though Santana has a key and glances over her shoulder shooting her a wink.
''Wait and find out gorgeous.''
''Sanny!'' She laughs stepping aside as her little brother opens the door and watches him take a running jump into her arms. ''It's your birthday!'' Mason exclaims grinning brightly. ''Happy birthday!''
She laughs walking inside hearing him excitedly congratulate the Latina over and over again and leans down to kiss Maribel's cheek as she sees her watching the interaction with a loving grin. ''Hey Maribel.''
''Hey B, today was successful?'' Maribel asks as she sees the telltale signs of tears on her daughters face knowing all about the blonde's plan, Brittany nods her head with a soft hum and chuckles.
''It totally was, she didn't suspect a thing.'' She holds up the flowers she holds nodding her head to Santana holding another bouquet while Mason is contently settled on her hip and smiles slightly. ''I hope you have a few vases.''
''Well damn.'' Maribel breaths out as she sees the amount. ''Well I suspected three weren't enough so I asked Holly to bring two more, thank god she did.'' She shakes her head as Brittany just chuckles softly and leans up on her tiptoes to kiss her cheek. ''I never saw that happy spark in her eyes before B, thank you for putting that in her eyes.''
''I will definitely try to keep that spark as bright as it is now Maribel.'' Brittany murmurs softly, Maribel locks eyes with her hearing the underlying honest promise and nods her head.
''I know you will B.'' She whispers softly, she nods her head to the living room and smiles. ''Want to show her the second part of her birthday? This is all your doing so you lead her in.''
Brittany slowly nods her head handing Maribel the flowers and turns on her heels chuckling as she sees Santana listening to Mason tell her all about his meeting with social care and how good it was, she walks over to them and ruffles his hair. ''You can tell her more later on Maze.'' She murmurs lovingly. ''Ready to celebrate Santana's birthday?''
She takes him out of Santana's arms as he nods his head and places him down tapping his back silently telling him to go back to Holly, she turns back to Santana as he runs off and holds out her hand. ''Ready for your birthday party gorgeous?''
Santana slowly nods her head as she grabs her hand and allows Brittany to pull her towards the living room, she gasps softly looking around the second they enter and locks eyes with their friends, Holly, Mason and her mami standing behind a beautiful guitar formed cake with a big eighteen candle on top.

''Damn guys.'' She chokes out wiping away her tears.
''You have to blow the candles Sanny! It won't be a real party if they keep burning!'' Mason exclaims with a pout as she walks over to them not noticing Puck stand back to record everything.
''Don't forget to make a wish mija.'' Maribel reminds her with a loving grin.
Santana just chuckles walking over to the big cake and crouches down in front of it, she eyes the big candle and turns to Mason with a small smile. ''Mason?'' She beckons him over as he looks at her with a big smile and holds out her hand. ''Help me blow it out? I think it's too big for me.''
Brittany leans against the wall near the table beside Puck as she watches her little brother walk over with an excited grin covering his features and bites her lip her heart overflowing with love as she watches her girlfriend include Mason into small important things.
''I can hear your heart thumping B.'' Puck murmurs with a soft loving smile. ''That just made you fall deeper for her didn't it?''
''Sure did.'' Brittany replies not shying away from voicing her feelings this time. ''Every action as small as it may seem for others, makes me fall even deeper in love with her Noah.'' She murmurs nudging him as Maribel cuts the cake, she walks over to Santana wrapping her arms around her from behind and kisses her temple as her head easily leans back to settle against her shoulder. ''Cake or presents first?''
''Cake.'' Santana murmurs with a small smile. ''Didn't have the chance to eat lunch.'' She turns her head to look at her chuckling as she sees her sheepish grin and tilts her head up to kiss the underside of her jaw not noticing that her mami and Mike are snapping pictures. ''Get rid of that sheepish grin Britt-Britt, your surprise was so much better.''
Brittany just smiles skimming her lips over her forehead and taps her hipbone softly with her fingers. ''There is more to come, but cake first.'' She takes a plate Holly holds out for them with two slices of cake and holds it up in front of Santana so she can take the first bite, Santana takes one of the forks Mercedes holds out for her and looks around at the group as she scoops up the first bite.
''Thank you all for making this day so much more special, I don't think I could have imagined a better way to celebrate my birthday.''
''Happy birthday San.'' Mercedes cheers as everyone holds up a fork filled with cake echoing Mercedes.
''Happy birthday, mi corazón.'' Maribel exclaims with a grin from her spot beside Holly while locking eyes with her daughter, she smiles lovingly as she sees the happiness clear in her brown orbs and watches her take a bite everyone slowly following suit.
''Mh happy birthday San.'' Brittany murmurs covering her mouth after taking a bite, she places the plate in Santana's hand as she feels Mason lean against her leg and scoops him up kissing the top of his head chuckling as Santana moans at the delicious chocolate taste while he looks up at her with a big chocolaty grin. ''Chocolate monster agrees San.''
Santana looks behind her laughing as she sees most of Mason's face covered in chocolate and notices Holly creeping up behind Brittany with a wet wipe, she shoots her a winks scooping a bit of the chocolate butter cream left on her plate up on her finger and taps his nose laughing as he crosses his eyes to look at it with a pout.
''Sanny!'' He squeaks out giggling as everyone cover their mouths laughing at his expression.
''Oh shoot, sorry little man didn't realize my finger was that dirty!'' Santana gasps out in fake shock.
Brittany just chuckles boosting Mason forward as she sees the wicked grin forming on his lips and catches the paper plate Santana drops in shock to catch him, she laughs as his little giggles fill the room the second he runs his nose over Santana's cheek and turns to Holly in amusement. ''I hope you have more of those.''
Holly laughs showing her the whole package of wipes and winks. ''I slowly start to recognize your looks, as soon as you smirk and his pout forms into a grin the both of you hatched a silent plan and team up as siblings.''
Brittany nods her head with a soft chuckle and watches Santana and Mason joke around his giggles and her laughs bouncing off of the walls, she turns to look at Holly as she feels her arm wrap around her shoulders knowing she is still careful in touching her without a warning and leans into her side.
''I take it the surprise you planned at school went well?''
''It was amazing.'' She murmurs with a happy smile. ''It was even better as expected.''
After they all watched Santana joke around with Mason for a bit smearing buttercream over each other much to everyone's amusement, Brittany and Holly cut in before they could start scooping the cream off of the cake and forced the duo to clean up.
Brittany chuckles hearing Mason's soft sweet giggles as Holly finishes wiping the cream off of his cheeks and locks eyes with Santana as she runs the wet wipe over the tip of her nose to clear off the last bit of buttercream. ''Are you sure you just turned eighteen?''
''Yep now I am older.'' Santana mutters cheekily, Brittany rolls her eyes and snickers.
''You sure acted like a five year old only seconds ago San.'' She drops the wipe into the plastic bag Maribel holds out for her and locks eyes with her smirking. ''And you will always be Seven months older, so you will be the first one turning gray.'' She burst out laughing jumping back as she watches her jaw drop and hides behind Maribel as their friends and Holly laugh loudly. ''Save me Maribel.''
Maribel laughs covering the taller blonde as she sees her daughter watching her in shock having heard her comment and shakes her head holding out her hand for Holly silently asking her to give her a gift, she smiles as she does and holds it out for her daughter with a loving grin. ''Gift time mi corazón, you can kick your girlfriends butt later.''
''Saved by a gift Britt-Britt.'' She grumbles as she slowly takes the wrapped gift from her mami, she steps closer and leans in to kiss her cheek. ''Gracias mami.''
Brittany smiles slightly taking the moment of distraction to walk over to their friends and stands beside them beside the love seat Maribel pushes Santana in to open her gifts, she watches her open Maribel's gift smiling lovingly as she sees her jaw drop the second the jewelry set she eyed ever since she moved to Tennessee and nods her head as Maribel just shoots her a grateful grin for giving her the tip to give her that.
She smiles as Holly steps up next to give her the gift she picked out together with Mason chuckling as Santana smiles brightly the second she unwraps the picture frame Mason decorated with a picture of the three of them during their first camping trip and her favorite perfume, she smiles lovingly as she stands up to hug them and watches Mercedes and Puck step forward with the gift from their friends group next.
''Damn guys.'' Santana gasps out the second she opens the envelope with three train tickets to Nashville.
''B and your mami gave us this idea after they told us that you aren't quite sure where you want to go after high school.'' Puck explains with a small smile.
''Yeah you can go with your mami and B, you can have your mami beside you to visit colleges and B being the nerd of knowledge about many of the colleges there can show you which ones will be perfect for your future S.'' Mercedes continues with a grin.
''This is amazing.'' Santana breaths out with a big grin as she stands up to hug her friends. ''Thank you so much.''
''Any time S and this is our pleasure too.'' Sam tells her after she hugged her, Quinn chuckles as she frowns in confusion and shrugs.
''If you find the perfect college in Nashville, that will mean that our group will stay together during college too.''
''Yeah so it's a win-win for all of us, our group won't be split up and we can enjoy the challenges college brings as a group.'' Tina agrees as Mike just nods his head in agreement with a grin having heard of their plan and changing his own to stay near his girlfriend.
''We will be leaving next week Friday till Sunday.'' Maribel informs her daughter with a grin. ''B already contacted some colleges and managed to make appointments for visits during our visit, so you will have the whole weekend to scoop them out and during the evenings the both of you can go out or we can search something fun to do for the three of us.''
''We will search for something all of us enjoy Maribel.'' Brittany reassures with a small smile. ''We are going on this trip together so we will spend it together too, San and I can always go back if we want to do something together.''
''Yeah.'' Santana agrees with a smile silently loving the fact that her girlfriend and her mami made this trip possible for her. ''We will find something the three of us can do mami.'' She walks over to her mother and hugs her. ''Gracias mami.''
Brittany smiles as she walks over to her to thank her and leans down to kiss her head. ''Thank me in a bit.'' She murmurs softly as she holds her hand out for Holly to give her, the gift she bought for Santana. She pulls back as she feels her place the gift in her hand and holds it out for Santana to take. ''This is your real birthday gift San.'' She tells her with a loving smile.

Brittany just shuts her up with a finger on her lips and chuckles. ''No I didn't, open it.'' She tells her softly, she turns to Mason as he tugs on her shirt and scoops him up as he raises his arm while rubbing his eyes.
She places him on her hip tilting her head as he nuzzles his face in her neck knowing he is about to fall asleep from all excitement and watches Santana open the envelope she handed her, she watches her take out the two tickets she ordered and bites her lip as she sees her eyes widen in shock.
''B!'' Santana gasps out as she eyes the two tickets for an experience tour in Graceland, Elvis Presley's hometown.
''I knew you always wanted to go there with your mami because the both of you are huge Elvis fans, those tickets are free for any day of choice.'' Brittany tells her with a slight smile. ''The both of you can visit Graceland and go sightseeing, Memphis has a lot of amazing areas to visit.''
''This is way too much.'' Santana breaths out still in shock, Brittany just shakes her head and smiles slightly.
''It isn't Santana, you deserve so much more.'' She tells her softly not noticing their friends, Maribel and Holly exchange worried glances not knowing what is going to happen.
Santana just shakes her head and points at the flowers she received throughout the day. ''You already paid a fortune for those beautiful flowers and breakfast this morning.'' She holds up the tickets and bites her lip. ''And now this.'' She whispers shocked. ''This is way too much Brittany, you should spend your money on important things not on gifts.''
Brittany shuts her mouth noticing their friends, Maribel and Holly's eyes widen and just hums adjusting her hold on her little brother not wanting to wake him, she sighs walking over to Santana as she looks up a frown clear on her face and smiles sadly leaning down to kiss her forehead.
She pushes her hand down as she tries to give her the tickets back and shakes her head. ''I won't take them back.'' She tells her keeping her voice gentle not showing her just how much her comment has hurt her. ''I will bring Maze home so he can sleep, I will text you tonight.'' She continues still keeping her voice even and calm. ''Enjoy the rest of your birthday with your mami, gorgeous.''
She steps back grabbing Mason's jacket off of a chair and turns to the group forcing a smile. ''See you all tomorrow.'' She turns to Holly and locks eyes with her. ''See you in a bit?''
