A month and a half later
''Britty, Sanny?'' Mason yells as he waits at the bottom of the stairs waiting for the girls to call him up, Brittany turns to her girlfriend frowning as she hears the sadness in his voice and clears her throat as she looks just as confused.
''Come on up Maze.'' She yells looking up from her History book as she hears him stomp up the stairs, she tilts her head as his head peaks up the last step and smiles slightly. ''Sup Bud?''
''What are you doing?'' Mason asks cutely as he walks over to both girls cuddled up in the bed with books scattered around them, he lifts his arms silently asking his sister to pick him up and crawls over her to cuddle in between them as soon as she did.
''Learning, we have a few tests to write tomorrow.'' Brittany tells him softly as she places her book aside, she pulls Santana closer sandwiching Mason between them and looks at him with an eyebrow raised. ''What's wrong Mason?''
Mason nuzzles his face in her abs while wrapping one of his little arms around Santana and shrugs. ''You are leaving soon.'' He mumbles sadly.
''What was that?'' Brittany asks softly as both girls look at him in confusion, she sighs as he mumbles again and reaches down to cup his cheek. She tilts his head up to lock eyes with him and smiles slightly. ''We can't understand what you say if you keep mumbling it into my stomach Maze.''
''You are leaving soon.'' Mason repeats with a sad pout.
Santana drops her biology book as soon as she sees the tears in his eyes and turns her focus completely on him as Brittany just sighs softly and pulls him up between them so they can both cuddle with him, she lifts her hand gently raking her fingers through his blonde spikes and smiles sadly as she locks eyes with her girlfriend.
Brittany licks her lips gently running her fingers down her brothers spine and kisses his head. ''We are not leaving forever Maze, we just have to go to school somewhere else so we can continue learning for what we want to do later.''
''Why?'' Mason asks pouting. ''You can go to school here.''
''I know.'' Brittany murmurs with a sad smile. ''But the things we want to do later are a bit bigger, schools around here don't offer the education we need sweetheart.''
''We won't be gone forever Mason.'' Santana reassures with a small loving smile as she continues running her fingers through his hair, she locks eyes with him the second he turns to face her and taps his nose. ''We don't know where we will be going just yet, but we won't be far away and every break we will be here or you, Holly and my mami can visit us.''
''But I'm gonna miss you.'' Mason breaths out pouting as he leans his chin on his sisters chest to look at them.
''Oh Champ.'' Brittany murmurs sadly, she kisses his forehead and sighs. ''We are gonna miss you too but we will be back whenever we have a break, maybe on some weekends too if we don't have too much homework.''
''Can Holly, Maribel and I come over for a weekend too?''
Brittany nods her head and smiles lovingly. ''Of course you can.''
''And you can call whenever you want Maze.'' Santana tells him softly. ''Before bed you can call your sister and talk, maybe she will tell you a good night story over the phone.''
Brittany nods her head as he looks up at her pleadingly and chuckles. ''You know that I will Maze.'' She pulls him and Santana closer scooting down a bit do they all lay comfortably and kisses his head as he nuzzles his face against her shoulder. ''What brought this on?'' She asks softly.
Mason tightens his hold around them and shrugs. ''Holly brought home some letters and Maribel came over with a few too, they told us that it might be good news.'' He tilts his head up and smiles shyly. ''They told me to grab you, but I wanted to cuddle a bit.''
''College acceptance letters?'' Santana asks leaning up to look at her girlfriend, Brittany bites her lip and shrugs her shoulders.
''No idea.'' She whispers softly, she pulls Mason on top of her and slowly sits up. ''Let's go find out.'' She stands up with Mason still in her arms and rubs his back. ''We can cuddle some more tonight okay?''
''Can I sleep in your room?'' Mason asks shyly, Brittany bites her lip as she walks down the stairs and glances over her shoulder at her girlfriend knowing she is staying over so they can study together, she smiles as she just nods her head and adjusts her hold on Mason humming softly.
''Of course you can.'' They both murmur in unison as they walk down the stairs.
Santana walks into the kitchen following her mami's voice and smiles slightly as she sees her sitting at the kitchen table with Holly drinking coffee. ''Hola Mami.''
Maribel looks up and smiles lovingly. ''Hola Mija, how was learning?''
''Cut a bit short.'' Santana murmurs as she walks over to kiss her cheek. ''B and I will continue tonight.''
Maribel glances over at Brittany and smiles sadly as she sees Mason hanging on to her, she locks eyes with her daughter and nods her head silently allowing her that she can stay over even though it is a school night.
''We received some letters?'' Brittany asks as she sits down beside Holly.
Holly turns to look at her gently running her hand down Mason's back knowing exactly what he is thinking and smiles slightly. ''Yeah, principal Figgins gave me your letters and Maribel just picked up Santana's, they came in shortly after school ended.''
Brittany takes the three envelopes she holds out for her and nervously bites her lip as she sees the names of the colleges she applied to. ''Those are from the three I applied to.'' She murmurs.
''Vanderbilt too?'' Holly asks with a proud smile, Brittany hums softly turning her head to look at her girlfriend and smiles nervously.
''Which ones you got babe?''
''Belmont, Lipscomb and Vanderbilt.'' Santana replies nervously, she holds them out for her and bites her lip. ''Can you open them?''
Brittany smiles slightly and holds the three envelopes she received out for her. ''Only if you open mine.''
Santana nods her head swapping the envelopes with Brittany seeing the three same names on it and looks at her not noticing Holly setting up her phone to record it. ''Which one first?''
''Lipscomb?'' Brittany asks softly as she adjusts Mason on her lap, she kisses the top of his head as Santana hums and opens the envelope taking the letter out.
She skims through the letter and glances at her girlfriend smiling slightly as she sees the smile on her face, she hides her mouth behind Mason's head and raises an eyebrow. ''And?''
''They would love to have you join babe.'' Santana tells her with a grin.
''Yeah same goes for you, your scores impressed them San.'' She chuckles as Maribel tackles Santana in a hug with a squeak and smiles lovingly as Holly hugs her from behind while Mason wraps his arms tightly around her shoulders.
''Belmont next?'' Santana asks softly moving to sit in her mami's lap, Brittany hums grabbing the envelope and rips it open.
Santana looks up after reading it and chuckles as she sees the twinkle in her girlfriends eyes. ''Well that twinkle gives away the answer.''
''Your grin does too.'' Brittany tells her laughing. ''Belmont is also impressed with your scores, but there is more.''
''More?'' Santana asks frowning, Brittany nods her head and smiles proudly.
''They are offering you a full ride babe, according to the letter, the professor that watched the tapes you send in was impressed by your voice and acting.'' She continues with a grin.
''No way!''
''Way.'' Brittany tells her proudly knowing she had her sight set on Belmont because they offered the best acting and singing program, she laughs as Maribel squeals and bites her lip.
''You got two good colleges wanting you sweetcheeks.'' Holly murmurs proudly as she keeps her arms wrapped around her from behind, Brittany hums slowly leaning her head back and sighs.
''Yeah.''
Santana locks eyes with her girlfriend knowing she wants to know what the third letter says and grabs it. ''Vanderbilt now babe.'' She tells her as she rips it open, she waits till she pulls the letter out and slowly pulls it out reading the letter trying to keep her face stoic.
''Holy hell.'' Maribel whispers under her breath as she reads it over her daughters shoulder. ''She got a full ride.''
Santana hums looking up at her girlfriend and raises an eyebrow. ''And?!''
''Wait list letter babe.'' Brittany tells her with a sad smile. ''They got a lot of admissions this year since they offered full rides for the first time, they will need a while to go through all and to find the ones that deserve the full ride.'' She explains as she drops the letter. ''No need to read mine, I think I got the same.''
Santana glances at Holly sliding her eyes down to Mason silently telling her to take him and leans forward handing her girlfriend the letter, she taps it as she shakes her head and smiles slightly. ''Read it baby.''
Brittany frowns as Holly takes Mason out of her hold and locks eyes with her girlfriend, she bites her lip as she just raises an eyebrow while tapping the letter again and grabs it.
Dear Brittany,
Congratulations!
You have been admitted to the Freshman class entering Architecture and the build environment.
We are thrilled to invite you to join this remarkable group of students from around the world who were selected from the largest and most qualified group in Vanderbilt's history.
She drops the letter in shock and looks up with her jaw dropped. ''Wha..''
''You got in babe!'' Santana cheers with a big bright smile as she moves around the table to hug her tightly. ''You received a full ride to Vanderbilt, your sketches and the blue print impressed them!''
Brittany just wraps her arm around her waist grunting as Holly and Maribel also hug her tightly and glances at the letter. ''Is this for real?''
Holly leans over her to grab the letter and holds it up to the light. ''Sure is sweetcheeks, the stamp is real.'' She tells her proudly, she leans down and kisses the top of her head. ''I am so proud of you B.''
''We are moving to Nashville.'' Santana murmurs with a big smile.
''We both just got accepted to college.'' Brittany whispers in shock a big smile slowly forming on her lips, she takes Mason in her arms as she feels his arms wrap around her shoulder and nuzzles her nose in his hair as he congratulates her with a squeak.
''You did it Britty! You will be an Architect soon!'' He turns to Santana wrapping an arm around her shoulder and looks at her with a grin. ''And you will be a singer soon Sanny!''
Holly and Maribel watch them with loving grins and lean over to kiss their cheeks.
''So, so proud of you girls.'' Holly murmurs sweetly.
''We definitely are girls.'' Maribel agrees tears clear in her voice, she turns to Holly and sniffles. ''Our girls will graduate soon and will leave for college.''
''We are only an hour away mami.'' Santana reassures quickly as she sees Mason pouting. ''We will be home a lot and the three of you can visit whenever.''
''Not if you are loaded up on homework.'' Holly murmurs with a sad smile.
''We still have breaks.'' Brittany tells them with a small smile. ''And we can sometimes work on our homework here too, besides we all have phones.''
''Yeah we are not moving far away for a reason.'' Santana tells them, she taps Mason's nose and winks. ''The biggest reason is this adorable little boy.'' She locks eyes with her mami and winks. ''And because of you, you really think I would move that far away from your food?''
Brittany chuckles as Maribel scoffs and kisses her girlfriends head. ''Great way to lighten up the mood babe.'' She compliments softly as Mason and Holly both burst out laughing.
''Well I think this calls for celebration.'' Holly tells them with a grin, she kisses their heads leaning down to kiss Mason's forehead and winks. ''Go get ready, I am taking you all out to a restaurant.''
''Yeah our treat.'' Maribel tells them before they can protest. ''After that I want some movie time and relaxing.''
''We still need to learn.'' Santana tells her softly.
''You can after the movie.''
Brittany nods her head in agreement and smiles. ''Yeah we can learn after the movie babe, we will tuck Maze in and relax on the couch.''
''Good that's settled, now move your butts upstairs and get ready.'' Holly tells them while pointing at the stairs, she plucks Mason out of Brittany's arms and kisses his head. ''Maribel and I will pick out some clothes for you sweetheart.'' She tells him as she follows Brittany and Santana out of the kitchen with a chuckle as Maribel pushes them out.
Santana chuckles kissing her mami's cheek as they reach the stairs and smiles. ''We will be down in ten.'' She jogs up the stairs pulling Brittany with her as they both nod their heads and pulls her down the hall to her room. ''God this feels like a dream.'' She whispers softly as she opens the door.
''Ow!'' She yelps pulling her arm back to rub it. ''The fuck Britt-Britt?'' She asks in shock as she turns to her standing on the stairs, Brittany laughs closing the door behind her and locks eyes with her smirking.
''You are not dreaming San.''
''You had to pinch me for that?'' Santana asks with a grumble as she continues her path up the stairs.
''Yeah to show you that you are awake.'' Brittany murmurs with a chuckle as they reach the top of the stairs, she grabs Santana's hand before she can walk to her closet to steal a hoodie and pulls her in her arms. ''We both just got accepted to college.'' She whispers softly.
Santana smiles lovingly as she hears the amazement in her voice and tilts her head up to kiss her chin. ''We both got accepted to the colleges we wanted to go to, both with a full ride.'' She murmurs. ''I don't think anything will ever ruin the happiness I feel now.''
''I don't think anything can ruin the happiness you caused in my life.'' Brittany replies sweetly, she dips her head and kisses her softly. ''I can't wait to see what the future brings, you will rock it San.''
''Just like you will rock your future Britt-Britt, you are insanely talented and I am glad Vanderbilt thinks so too.'' She leans in pecking her lips and smiles lovingly. ''In a few years, you can proudly tell everyone that you designed a beautiful building.''
''In a few years we can run away from paparazzi or fans because they all want a picture of you.'' Brittany murmurs chuckling, she tightens her hold around her shoulders and leans their foreheads together with a small loving grin. ''I am looking forward to our future in Nashville.''
''I am too Britt-Britt.'' Santana responds with a cute smile. ''I am too.'' She repeats softly as she leans up to capture her lips in a soft kiss the both of them just enjoying a moment together after they received the amazing news.
Next chapter will be the last chapter, I still didn't find a good name for the sequel.

Graduation is happening in that chapter, the girls will move away soon after.
I am thinking about one of them asking the other to move in together, who should ask who?
