''Whoa Pierce, never expected to see you here.'' Finn exclaims grinning as he walks behind the stage of the podium waiting for their names to be called, he looks at the group and scoffs. ''As a matter of fact, the only people I expected to see was Mercedes, Quinn and Santana.''
Brittany scoffs wrapping her arms around her girlfriends shoulders while sitting in her lap and glares at him as she feels Santana's arms wrap around her waist her thumbs running soothing circles on her hip beneath the gown they all wear. ''Well I never expected to see any of you here either, but sleeping yourself to the top might have helped a bit didn't it?''
''You are just jealous that we graduated at the top Pierce.'' Kitty tells her scoffing as they all sit down. ''You just barely passed with a C+.''
Santana leans forward with a glare and looks at her. ''Have you seen any of our grades?'' She smirks as they all just frown and shrugs. ''You know nothing so just shut your damn trap bitch.''
Brittany holds up her hand before any of them can say something and glares at them. ''Just shut the fuck up, we are all glad that we won't have to see any of you in the near future.''
''B ignore them.'' Mercedes mutters softly.
''Yeah you too San, they ain't worth it.'' Quinn adds as they both reach out to place a calming hand on their shoulders.
''Like you all are worth our time.'' Finn tells them with a scoff.
''You are still talking to us aren't you?'' Quinn asks glaring at him. ''None of us want to hear your boring voice Hudson, just shut the fuck up before the you have another fucking slushy shower.''
''Need a repeat of yesterday?'' Puck asks smirking as he pulls his girlfriend in his lap.
They all chuckle as they immediately shut up while scowling and smirk, Brittany snickers fist bumping Puck and nuzzles her face against Santana's shoulder knowing the jocks and cheerleaders hate that they are the cause of some last school day detention for slushying a couple of new teachers instead of them because they found out about their plan and used another entrance while telling the new teachers that taking the main entrance is also for them to use.
She glances at the stage as Figgins start talking and rolls her eyes. ''God his voice is so slow, it's like a lullaby.''
Santana giggles and kisses her temple. ''Stay awake babe, you will be up there soon.'' She whispers proudly knowing she is the only one of their group who knows that she is the valedictorian and graduated with honors.
Brittany just hums softly ignoring the jocks and cheerleaders next to them cheering loudly as their coach take the stage knowing she is the one who will announce who will hold the speech and slowly sits up. ''Wish me luck.'' She whispers softly.
''Ladies and gentleman, it's time for our valedictorian to take the stage.'' Sue Sylvester announces as she looks around. ''To some it may be a surprise, to me it certainly was but still with pride I am here to introduce you to.'' She glances backstage and smiles slightly noticing her cheerleaders and some jocks sit forward thinking their name will be called. ''Brittany Pierce with a nearly perfect GPA of 3.8!''
Brittany stands up chuckling as her friends all look at her in shock and stumbles back as they immediately jump up to hug her with proud smiles, she thanks them softly as they tell her how proud they are and turns to the jocks smirking. ''C+ my ass.'' She tells them enjoying their shocked faces as she walks onto the stage smiling as she hears everyone clap and her brother cheer the loudest.
''Yes Britty!''
She blows him a kiss and walks over to Sue shaking her hand, she takes her place behind the microphone and looks around clearing her throat.
''Friends, teachers and parents, welcome. We are graduating.''
She smiles as she hears their friends cheer and looks around at the people who all came to watch their children graduate, she locks eyes with Holly and smiles slightly.
''It has been a long four years but also short four years, long because of the drama every school brings with it, because certain drama in some student's private lives and of course homework.'' She smiles as she hears chuckles and glances backstage at her friends. ''But short because of the lifelong friendships and for some also relationships we build, the lasting memories we made and some truly interesting things we learned.''
She turns back to the people in front of her and sighs locking eyes with Holly once again. ''I will always remember this place, some bad memories will always stay in my mind but they are overshadowed with amazing memories. Memories of the friends I made knowing I will have them my whole life, memories of how my relationship started in this building and will continue growing outside of it. Memories of one class, the only class that made such an impact in my life and not only the class but also the teacher who made it so much more fun to attend.''
''I am thrilled to be this years valedictorian but I wouldn't have made it without the constant support of my friends, my girlfriend and her mother, my little brother but the biggest support I received was from one teacher called Miss Holiday.'' She smiles as she sees her cover her mouth while tears fill her eyes and clears her throat. ''Without her pushing me to the brink of insanity most of my high school years, being present even if I didn't want an adult being near or just the support she showed me while I didn't have any parental figures to rely on brought me right here on this stage.''
''Not everyone in this building had an amazing life and as much as people like to judge a book by it's cover, I hope in these four years we all learned one thing.'' She glances around and smiles slightly. ''Every person has a story, some amazing, some downright messed up. Here in this building we were all the same though, we all thrived to do our best, to graduate and dreamed of our future.''
''Our future starts today and the next step is college, I will be going to one like many of my classmates will, but some will also join various branches of the armed forces to help keep our country safe home and abroad. Others might get right to work or even take a year off to decide what they want to do.''
''The transition will be difficult because we all don't know what the world has in store for any of us, but I do know how to deal with life events by using the skills and info I picked up here. It all comes down to accepting help and I've got plenty of people to thank for being my rock throughout these four years.''
She glances backstage and locks eyes with her friends and girlfriend. ''First I would like my friends for always having my back and I would like to thank my girlfriend for being a huge part of the most life changing events that happened this last year of high school.'' She turns back and locks eyes with Holly and Maribel smiling as she sees Don and Cody sitting behind them. ''I would also like to thank Holly Holiday and Maribel Lopez for being the adults in my life I never knew I needed together with Don and Cody Gomez.''
''But most importantly of all.'' She continues while glancing back backstage locking eyes with Puck. ''I would like to thank Noah Puckerman, because without him I wouldn't be standing this tall. He walked into my life during kindergarten and never left, jumped in to help me the second I needed it the most and still continues to be my biggest rock.''
''And.'' She continues turning back to the people in front of her looking at her little brother. ''My little brother Mason because without him life wouldn't be as fun, he is still a kid but he taught me the important lessons in life. He taught me that everything I did and will do matters, that it's okay to make mistakes but the biggest lesson he taught me was to love unconditionally and to challenge myself.''
''Without him I wouldn't be the person I am now and watching him grow up will always be the best thing in my life.'' She continues. ''That is one piece of advice that I can give all of you, make sure that you are around when other people need someone to lean on!''
''Thank you all for celebrating this important milestone with us.'' She turns back to her friends and winks. ''Congratulations WMHS, we just graduated!''
She nods her head to Figgins walking back to her friends as he takes her place again as all adults start clapping and stumbles back as Santana reaches her first tackling her in a hug, she smiles as their friends all join them and kisses Santana's head.
''Damn amazing speech B.'' Puck murmurs as he kisses her cheek. ''So proud of you.''
''We all are.'' Mercedes murmurs, she looks around at their friends as Figgins start calling out names and smiles. ''I think we all are proud of each other.''
''Sure are C.'' Tina agrees. ''Love y'all.''
''We love you too T.'' Brittany murmurs with a grin, she nudges her softly as she gets called and winks. ''Go.''
An hour and a half later.
Brittany leans into Puck's whistling as her girlfriend walks onto the stage to receive her diploma and smiles. ''Ready to start the future Noah?''
''Knowing I am starting it with all of you in the same city, hell yes.'' Puck murmurs as he kisses her cheek. ''I think you don't even know how proud I am to see how you managed to turn your life around B, I am happy to see you this happy.''
''Couldn't have done it without any of you Noah.'' Brittany murmurs.
''Brittany Pierce!''
''Go B.'' Puck murmurs with a small smile as Figgins calls her name, he kisses her cheek and pushes her softly.
Brittany smiles walking out onto the stage smiling as she hears Holly, Maribel, Don, Cody and Mason cheering loudly, she shakes Figgins hand and walks over to the line of students taking her spot beside Santana as she sees that everyone ignored the original line up.
She intertwines her hand with Santana smiling lovingly as she leans against her side and glances at Mercedes as she feels her hand on her back, she shoots their friends a grin as they all smile happily and turns back to Figgins as he clears his throat.
''Noah Puckerman!''
She laughs as he moonwalks out on the stage and high fives him as he joins them after shaking Figgins hand, she pulls Santana closer as Figgins turns to them with a proud smile and runs her hand down Santana's back.
''Congratulation to this years class of seniors!''
They all throw their hats in the air an unspoken agreement even if it wasn't desired and cheer loudly, Santana turns in her girlfriends hold and cups the back of her neck to kiss her softly. ''We just graduated.'' She whispers softly against her lips.
''We just started a new path in our lives.'' Brittany murmurs as she leans their foreheads together smiling brightly, she glances at their friends grinning as she sees all of them in a loving embrace and whistles. ''Yo nerds, group hug!''
She laughs as Mike and Tina reach them first holding Santana up as Tina crashes into her side and wraps her free arm around Mike as everyone else joins them, she looks at them and smiles. ''In not even two weeks, we will be all moving to Nashville.''
''Can't wait to start this new chapter with all of you.'' Mercedes gushes with a bright grin.
''Love you guys.'' Sam murmurs as they all form a circle.
''We love you all too Sammy.'' Santana tells him smiling brightly.
''Britty!'' Brittany chuckles pulling back as she hears Mason yell her name and steps back, she catches him as he takes a running jump into her arms and throws him up in the air soaking in his happy giggles. ''You did it! You graduated!'' He squeaks out with a bright smile as she easily catches him, he tightly wraps his arms around her shoulder and kisses her cheek. ''So proud of you Britty, I love you.''
Brittany just leans their foreheads together her heart about to burst as she sees the happiness and pride in his eyes and kisses his nose not noticing Don and Cody both recording them from different angles. ''I love you too Champ.'' She hugs him tightly and nuzzles her nose in his blonde locks feeling a lump forming in her throat. ''So, so much.''
She looks up as she feels another pair of arms around her and locks eyes with Holly, she closes her eyes as she kisses her forehead and turns in her hold to hug her properly sandwiching Mason between them. ''Thank you.'' She whispers softly.
Holly just smiles and kisses her head once again while tightening her hold on her. ''You did all of this yourself Britt, I am so proud of you.''
''You don't even know how much those words mean to me coming from the both of you.'' Brittany confesses softly.
''Just as much as we mean it.'' Holly murmurs lovingly, she gently takes Mason from her and smiles slightly. ''Kid swap.'' She announces softly laughing as Maribel tackles Brittany in a hug before she can even look up at her.
Brittany laughs hugging Maribel tightly smiling as she gushes about her speech and kisses her cheek. ''Thank you Maribel.''
''So proud of you honey, the future has a lot of nice things planned for you.''
''I sure hope so.'' She whispers softly as she pulls out of the hug, she looks over at Holly smiling as she sees her hugging Santana and turns back to Maribel. ''As long as I have San right by my side, only good things will continue happening.''
After they all celebrated some more Mercedes's parents invites everyone over for a backyard BBQ and told them to just come over whenever, Brittany turns to Holly and Maribel as the stage slowly empties out and smiles slightly. ''Can I kidnap San for a bit?'' She asks as they surround her after their friends all promised to meet them at Mercedes's house.
She takes Santana's hand in her own as they both just nod their heads smiling knowingly and tugs her closer handing Holly her gown and backpack. ''See you at Cedes her house?''
''Yeah we will drive with Maribel, see you there B.''
Brittany nods her head watching them walk off of the stage and turns to her girlfriend chuckling as she looks at her in confusion, she walks off of the stage tugging on her hand and smiles. ''Come on.'' She murmurs softly as she leads her out of the auditorium.
She walks down the hallway intertwining their hands and leads her towards their lockers, she stops in front of them and turns to her. ''Did you clear your locker out?'' She asks softly as she opens her own.
Santana slowly nods her head and shrugs. ''Yeah I think I did.''
''You think?'' She asks in amusement.
Santana laughs and turns to her. ''You know that I forget easily Britt-Britt.'' She turns to her locker and smiles slightly. ''Let's find out.''
Brittany smirks closing her own locker as Santana turns the lock entering her combination and leans against the closed door thankful that her girlfriend is just her forgetful self and doesn't question her, she tilts her head as she gasps softly the second she opens it and bites her lip as she turns to her in shock the second she finds a teddy bear with a necklace around it.
Santana locks eyes with her girlfriend as soon as she saw the teddy bear with a little linkin park shirt on and turns back to it as she just slightly nods her head telling her to take it, she reaches inside taking it out and frowns in confusion as she feels something hard under the shirt.
''What is this Britt-Britt?'' She asks softly as she trails her fingers over the necklace around the bears neck.
''Take it out.'' Brittany murmurs softly.
She slowly pulls the necklace out of the shirt her jaw dropping as she sees a key hanging on it and turns to Brittany in shock as she reaches out turning the bear in her hold so she can read the back of it's shirt.
Will you move in with me?
''Are you serious?'' She asks in shock looking up at her with a small loving smile, Brittany nods her head gently closing her locker and pulls her close.
''I am.'' She murmurs as she kisses her head. ''When people ask me how I imagine my future, the first thing coming to mind is that you are by my side.'' She whispers as she pulls back to lock eyes with her. ''Our colleges are far apart from each other and as clingy as this may sound, I don't like the idea of not seeing you for weeks on end.'' She continues softly. ''I would love to come home and hear all about your day or just forget everything and cuddle, I would love to come home knowing you will be there soon too, I will love waking up beside you every morning thinking how lucky I am and thanking god for leading you in my lif..''
Santana smiles lovingly reaching out to grab the collar of her shirt and pulls her closer effectively cutting her cute rambles off, she tilts her head up and captures her lips in a soft sweet kiss whispering. ''Yes.''
Brittany pulls back and raises an eyebrow. ''Yes?''
She nods her head and chuckles. ''Yes Britt-Britt, I would love to move in with you.''
