Hi folks! While I will still be writing plenty of Lomille, I wanted to try some new stories so this is the first of three new stories, following that idea. This one will be Katie centric and will follow her first serious relationship. I don't want to give too much away of the other two, but know they will also be slightly different than my BTR fics so far. Just want to give LatetotheRusherParty a thanks for encouraging me to continue this and few other ideas I had.
So without further ado enjoy the story!
Logan opened the door to his apartment. He had a long day of dance rehearsals and harmonies and all he wanted to do was lay down in his bed and take a nice long nap. In a perfect world, Camille would be joining him for that nap, but she was still on set and wouldn't be home until late. Logan walked into his living room and froze at the sight in front of him.
He stared at the pair that just jumped away from each other, his jaw dropped and his fists curled up in anger.
"What the hell is going on!" he shouted at them.
The brunette looked at him with wide eyes and a red face, "Logan I can explain," she offered, and the guy she was with just stared at him confused. "You said no one would be here," he said and Logan glared at the girl furiously.
"Time for you to go, Connor," she said pushing the boy out of the apartment and out the door. She shut the door once he was gone and leaned against the door. Logan soon made his way to her and looked pissed. The vein in his neck was popping out and he was about to scream at her for what happened.
She had gone pale, "Before you say anything, Camille already knows I'm here," Katie told Logan, bracing herself for his reaction. This information only seemed to make him angrier.
"She what? And she's okay with this? Katie Knight, you are NOT allowed to be alone with a boy, let alone in my apartment. When Kendall finds out about this he'll…"
Katie paled at the mention of her brother, "Please don't tell Kendall! He doesn't even know I have a boyfriend," she begged Logan who looked at her surprised.
"Boyfriend?!" he hollered at her. Katie scrunched up her face at his reaction. She hadn't told any of the guys that she had a boyfriend. She told Camille, and she offered her apartment for more privacy, which Katie gladly took advantage of.
"Stop yelling at me, Logan. I'm not a child anymore," she told him annoyed and crossed her arms.
Logan looked at the younger girl, still angry, "You were alone with a boy in an empty apartment without anyone knowing!"
"I already told you Camille knew we were going to hanging out here, so I don't see the problem."
"I didn't know!" he yelled at her, his eye growing bigger and lifting his hands up to make his point.
"Come on Logan! I've walked in on worse with you and Camille, or James and Lucy or Carlos and Lex or even Kendall and Jo," Katie said exasperated, placing her hands on her hips. Logan was being so hypocritical right now. This is exactly why she went to Camille behind his back. She was reasonable.
"I shouldn't be walking in on you doing anything! You're 15!"
"I'm almost 16 and you know it," she argued back, "Camille said you wouldn't be home until 5."
Logan rolled his eyes. His own girlfriend was helping Katie, the girl who was basically his little sister, sneak around some boy in and out of their apartment so he wouldn't find out. Boy sis he have questions for Camille when he got home. "I'm sorry, but I do live here too, you know! And it's almost 6," he informed her, still both processing what happened and trying to erasing the image from his mind.
Katie stared at Logan in disbelief and checked her watch, "Shit! I'm almost late for dinner. Please don't tell the rest of the guys about this," she pleaded with him and Logan actually smiled at her.
"Fine," he agreed without hesitation.
Katie smiled at him, "Great!" That was much easier than she thought.
"Ah ah, only if you tell them yourself," he said and Katie frowned, she knew it would be too good to be true.
Katie groaned in annoyance as she began to make her way back towards her apartment. She barely noticed that Logan was following her.
"What?" she asked him still irritated with him.
Logan gave her a somewhat sinister laugh and smile, "It's fish stick Friday and Camille's filming until 10. The guys invited me over for dinner," he told her and he walked past her and mockingly began skipping down the hall.
Katie smacked her forehead with the palm of her hand. She knew Logan was going to enjoy watching as she had to tell her other brothers what he now knew. She was secretly glad if any of them had to catch her with Connor, it was Logan. He was by far the most easy going and level headed. He even took her by himself to the pharmacy a few times when she needed tampons. Kendall, James and Carlos probably didn't even want to acknowledge that Katie got her period two years ago. Of course, Logan wanting to be a doctor, he took the fact that she wanted his help very seriously.
However, now she remembered that Logan had a tendency to go overboard with certain things, especially when he had the upper hand. Something Camille had told her one time. She now felt sorry for Logan's girlfriend. Who knew what she put up with. This is going to be a long night.
The two entered the Crib and Katie immediately tried to run off to her bedroom, but Logan predicted that and grabbed her arm.
"If don't tell them, I will," he threatened her and she rolled her eyes. Her mom already knew about Connor, not about using Logan and Camille's apartment as a private hangout without the former's knowledge. Logan smiled at Mama Knight and dragged Katie to the TV where James, Carlos and Kendall were seated.
"Hey Baby Sister, have fun at the pool?" Kendall asked nonchalant. She looked at Logan who clearly wanted her to tell them the through, but she chose against it, "Yup!" she said, and felt Logan's hand collide with her arm.
"Katie," he hissed at her. She gave him a challenging look and crossed her arms in front of her. Logan didn't have the guts to tell them.
"Guess what I had the misfortune of walking in on this evening," Logan said looking at his three best friends and then at Katie, who was glaring at him.
"Katie alone in my apartment, making out with a boy!" Logan shouted and immediately got the attention of all three of the guys.
"WHAT?!" they all shouted in unison looking at her for confirmation. 'Dammit Logan' she thought to herself.
"His name is Connor and he's…"
Kendall's face had gone pale, "Wait, it's true? You are too young to be dating!" he insisted.
"You had your first girlfriend at 14!" Katie retorted and that's when Mama Knight stepped in, "Boys, leave Katie alone. Connor seems like a nice boy," she said.
"You knew about this?" Logan and Kendall both asked her and she laughed and nodded, "Unbelievable, first Camille and now you," Logan went on.
James have Logan a puzzled look, "Camille knows Katie had a boy alone in the apartment?" he asked and Logan nodded in horror. Mama Knight looked at Katie displeased, "You said Camille was going to be there," she said, reminding Katie of her lie. "She had to leave," she informed her mother who looking rather unpleased at this reveal.
"Mom! Ground her!" Kendall demanded.
Mama Knight rolled her eyes at the reactions in the boys faces, "I didn't ground you when I walked in and you and Jo-"
"Mom!" Kendall screamed out in embarrassment. "So," he said, changing the subject and turning the action back to Katie. "He's your what, boyfriend?" he asked disgusted at the idea that his baby sister was dating anyone.
"Yes and stop overreacting, this is none of your business," she told them and glared at all four of them.
"Boyfriend since when?" Carlos asked curiously, he seemed the least upset by this. Logan was probably more angry about the fact she was in his apartment alone than the fact that she had a boyfriend. James and Kendall were always overprotective and overbearing when it came to Katie and boys.
"Well…"
So now the guys know…
Poor Katie, next chapter(s) will be a flashback leading back up to the present. Love to hear your thoughts!
