The characters and the plots belong to Listelia and, very important, to their respective and rightful owners. I got authorization from Dolphinheart99 to take some elements of her stories. I therefore own nothing, minus the names of my OCs.
"Thundering typhoons. What happened again?" Captain Haddock muttered as he slowly regained consciousness from the crashed plane.
It had started like any other vacation a few hours ago, with their friends Thompson and Thomson, Nestor and of course, Snowy. All of them had recovered from their many adventures around the world and just wanted some vacation before going back to a normal life at Marlinspike Hall. They had been kidnapped by Bab El Ehr and rescued by several US Marines, whom they barely knew since these Americans were wearing a shemagh to conceal their identity.
Suddenly, Tintin began moving, as did the Thompson twins and Nestor, followed seconds later by Snowy. They all realize they had to be in a mountainous location, since there was nothing but snow-covered rocks near them. Needless to say, everyone else died in the crash, since Tintin, Captain Haddock, Nestor and the Thompson twins only saw lifeless corpses around them. But Tintin thought of something.
"The Bordurians. They might be searching for the wreckage." Tintin said.
"Means we have to move, if I believe what Monsieur Tintin said." Nestor concluded.
"So let's move." the seaman ordered.
With that said, they moved away from the crash site, fully knowing the Bordurian forces would be coming for them, since Albanian forces and their NATO allies would not be coming, unless they had satellite confirmation there were survivors from the crash being in deadly danger. And Tintin's thought proved to be right, since the group left some tracks in the snow as they left the plane while being under constant watch from a British spy satellite.
At the NATO headquarters meanwhile, Reese and her men were sitting in the briefing room alongside Albanian colleagues when a US Army officer came into the room, causing Reese and her colleagues to stand at attention. The officer then nodded for them to have a seat before turning a giant screen on.
"A few hours ago, a civilian plane crashed thirty klicks from the border between Albania, Syldavia and Borduria. Good news, there are survivors. Bad news it is on the Bordurian side of the border. Means we'll have to use brute force to extract any survivor. But the thing is we don't have enough intel on who are the survivors, but we do know the enemy is led by this man." the officer said before showing a picture of Colonel Sponsz. "Colonel Sponsz. Ruthless, cunning and fiercely loyal to the pro-Chinese dictator Kurvi-Tasch. He's in charge of the Bordurian forces en route to the crash site. So for now, we can only wait."
Reese and her companions sighed out of frustration, knowing each hour passing by is an hour given to the enemy to find any survivors and use them either as bargaining chips or worse.
A few hours later
At the NATO headquarters, US Marine Corps Sergeant Reese Grady and her men were waiting for the order to go alongside their Albanian allies to look for survivors from the previous plane crash when they suddenly saw the giant screen displaying Bordurian soldiers led by Colonel Sponsz searching the wreckage for some specific survivors. And Reese understood the ruthless Bordurian colonel was trying to get rid of a particular group of persons in particular. Suddenly, an officer came into the briefing room and gave a piece of paper to the US Army officer already there.
"Well, looks you got the green light for the rescue operation. Get warm clothes for you and pack some more for our friends Tintin, Captain Haddock, Snowy, Nestor, Thompson and Thomson. Looks like they're in trouble once again." the US officer announced.
With that said, Reese and her companions put on winter clothes, knowing they would go into freezing mountains. So even in the heat of summer, they had to prepare layers of clothing for their arduous trek in the mountains to retrieve their friends. Reese and her men knew it would be their only chance to retrieve their friends, or else they would risk being targetted by the wrath of both China and Borduria, since these two countries have maintained excellent diplomatic relationships since the fall of the USSR and the one of Yugoslavia.
Meanwhile, Tintin and his companions found a long-abandoned building, where they hid for the night, since they knew Sponsz and his men had insulated tents and other winter hardware and could afford to patiently track them even in the cold snow of the mountains, unlike Tintin and his group, who had to rest in warm places for the time being if they didn't want to get frostbitten or freeze to death. Tintin and his friends now just wanted one thing: come back home and see their friends and aquaintance again. But first they had to escape Borduria first.
