"It's just a crush on a ghost-" Basically Satin, Brue, and Robert decide to spend a few weeks in a haunted house. And they meet a ghost that calls himself Mao. He doesn't remember his real name or how he died but he does know that he likes Satin. Enjoy. (This was inspired by Ava Max's song 'Freaking me out.'

Robert sighed as he push tree branches out of the way as the three of them ventured through the woods. "God, this is so scary. Why did you make me come? I was sleeping peacefully in my bed until the two of you dragged me out here." Satin complained rapidly looking around and shining his flashlight in various places. Brue took this as an opportunity to scare Satin but before he could he stopped walking when seeing a large abandoned mansion in front of him. "Cool.."

He breathed out. Robert just started wondering why he was here. Satin took one quick look at the house and almost immediately felt his soul leave his body. Brue and Robert turned around to see Satin unconscious on the ground. Brue smiled and kicked him in the shin. Satin sat up holding his shin. "Brue what the fu..."

He trailed off when seeing the house. He was going to pass out again but something grabbed his arm. Not Brue doing it to freak him out or Robert doing it to keep him with the both of them, but something touched his arm. He shrieked. "Brue, did you just touch my arm?" He asked looking around fearfully, as he started to walk up closer to the two of them. Brue rose a brow and snorted.

"No, maybe it was a ghost." He responded. Satin squeaked and sped up his pace to the house. Once they were on the porch. Brue tried opening the door but it wouldn't budge. "Hello?" A muffled female voice called out.

Satin perked up at the voice. He quietly stepped up onto the porch and knocked on the door. "Mom? Dad?" They called out. "No, I'm not your mom or dad." He spoke.

"Me and my friends wanted to see your house so, can we come in?" It was silent for a moment. Then the door opened and lights cut on. "Whoa.." The three breathed out. Before they could step in, a petite girl with light brown skin, short brown hair in a low ponytail, wearing an old-fashioned button-up collared shirt, and an old-fashioned jumpsuit with dress shoes. Satin looked at the girl like she was an alien. "What-"

He was cut off by the girl hugging him. "It's been so long since I've had visitors!" She yelled. Satin chuckled. "Can we come in? It's freezing."

He asked. The girl realized what she was doing and let get and flew backwards. "Oh sorry. I just get excited when I get visitors, last time I had visitors was 400 years ago, and I haven't aged since then." Satin, Brue and Robert just stared. "Do you have any spare bedrooms? I'm tired, not to be rude but my friend dragged me out of bed."

Satin spoke yawning. Brue glared at him. "I would never." He lied. Robert sighed. "I watched you climb through his window, and drag him out of bed and then threw him out the window." Robert spoke.

"I- I.. have no words." The ghost spoke up. "Anyway, names? I'm Mao. Or at least that's what I call myself. Anyway names before you all go to sleep?" She asked clasping her hands together.

"Robert."

"Satin."

"Brue." Mao smiled. "Oh- and can you use male pronouns for me please?" He asked. The three nodded before going upstairs while Mao closed the front door.

Mao was sitting in a corner humming to himself while Satin slept peacefully. Eventually getting bored he floated to the side of the bed and just stared at him. Examining his features. Not even noticing his cheeks starting to heat up. Satin woke up feeling like he was being stared at. He almost screamed when he saw the ghost staring at him. "Good morning.

Did you sleep well? Can you tell me what that rectangle is? Oh, wait. I forgot. you need to eat." Satin chuckled at how Mao went from subject to subject. Satin sat up.

"I'll tell you after I eat okay?" Mao nodded.

After Satin ate, the two sat outside up against a tree in Mao's backyard. "This is called a phone. You mainly use it for communication but it can be used for entertainment too." Mao gasped as he held the phone in his hand. "It feels weird." He bluntly stated. Satin laughed at how blunt he was.

"It feels like that when you first hold a phone." Mao then started to fiddle with his sleeves as he looked down blushing. "Can I.. hug you?" He asked. Satin blushed a bit but nodded. "Yeah, I don't mind." Mao then embraced him as if he'd never done it before.

Satin smiled as he hugged him back. And this is pretty much how it went. Brue, Robert, and Satin explained technology to him and showed him how it worked, and bonded with him. Satin was the closest to him out of the three. They talked to each other all the time, cuddled, and liked each other too. Satin had gotten Mao a gift, so he gave him a hoodie he couldn't fit. He didn't know how or why Mao could touch him but he didn't care.

When Mao put it on it was big. Mao never took it off ever since. The two were currently sitting up against a large tree while Mao used Satin as a chair. "Aren't you hot? I mean it's like 90 degrees out here." Mao smiled a little. "I'm dead so I can't feel the sun's rays like you do."

Satin felt bad for asking that question. "Hey, can you look at me for a second?" He asked. Mao turned around, now sitting facing Satin. He tilted his head to the side in confusion. Satin smiled and blushed. Please don't hate me for doing this..

He thought. Satin then gently placed a kiss on Mao's cheek. Mao blushed and buried his face in Satin's shoulder. Satin laughed.

Maybe it's more than just a crush on a ghost.

Sucky ending no?
