Sun is injured very badly and is in a coma due to a fight he had with Brue. Sun had accidentally hurt Moon causing Brue to hurt him. He was scolded but he didn't care. As long as his 'sister' was okay.
Moon lay on the cold dark ground of his home. The stars disappeared. Since Sun is in a coma, what can he do? Brue's mad at him, Jay stopped contacting her months ago, Knowledge was busy, Hyuki, the Healing God, was still working on something to wake Sun up, and Moon, well he, was just lonely. Moon hadn't noticed the tears sliding down his light brown skin.
Where is Sun? Why isn't he here? When will he wake up? So many unanswered questions ran through his head. Moon shielded his eyes from the bright portal that'd appeared in front of him. "Moon?" Hyuki called out.
Moon sat up looking at his friend. "I'm here." He said. Hyuki turned to his friend and held out a hand to help him up. Moon flinched. I might hurt him if I touch him. He might collapse like Sun did.
I don't want to hurt him. He thought. "..-oon?" What? "...-oon..?" Who is 'Oon?' "Moon!"
Moon snapped out of his trance. "Y-yes?" He stammered. Hyuki looked at his friend with concern. "Are you okay?" Was he? "Yes.
I'm fine." Hyuki's brows furrowed in concern. "Are you sure? You haven't come out of your domain ever since the... 'incident'." Has it really been that long? It felt like he'd been in here for a day at most. Moon hesitated to answer.
"Yes." Hyuki frowned. When was the last time he'd seen Moon so frightened? He couldn't remember. "Do you need something Yuki?" He asked. "Ah, right.
Um, I was wondering if you would come out today?" He paused seeing Moon tense up. "I- I know you don't like to be around too many people but we're worried Moon." Worried? When was the last time someone worried about him? "I know it's been hard since the um, 'incident,' but you're worrying us." They're worried?
Who is they? "It's especially hard on Mala. He's known you the longest and he gets worried when you don't come out of your domain for a while. So please, please consider it." Hyuki pleaded backing up to the portal. "If not today, then tomorrow." Then he left. And Moon was alone.
Again. He didn't want him to leave. Why didn't he say anything? Why is he such a screwup? Moon started to shake as tears streamed down his cheeks. "Why can't I speak up for once?"
"Maybe it's because you never talk to anyone." Moon whipped his head around, his long dark brown hair flying as he did so. It was Knowledge. "Knowledge—"
"Maybe it's because you waste your time here. In this empty domain." It hurts.
"You'd learn to speak up if you would get out more."
But it's the truth, isn't it? Maybe, maybe if I hadn't been revived as a God I.. I would be happy.
"I'm not pitying you. And I won't. Just accept that someone else made a mistake." Mistake? Am I that mistake?
"Once you learn to stop blaming yourself for things that don't involve you, you'd learn to respect yourself." Moon nodded. "Forgive me. I shouldn't be so selfish."
"It's not selfishness, it's not loving yourself."
"But I have no one else to love."
"You still have us."
"Please leave."
"What?"
"I need some time to myself."
"I think you've had enough time to yourself." This time it was Brue. "C'mere. I know you just want some love." Knowledge left, and Moon turned around to his brother and stood up. He buried his face in his chest. "I'm sorry."
Brue apologized. What's there to be sorry for? "For what?" Brue rested his head on Moon's. "For hurting him." Him? "Sun."
Oh, the incident. "I know he loves you but," Brue paused the ends of his robe floated. They looked like party streamers. "I just got so angry when I saw that cut." He said his hug tightening. "I know you spar with him.
I just got so pissed."
"I know. I'm sorry." Brue rose a brow, his anger fading away. "He didn't mean it. I just got distracted. It was my fault." Brue sighed. "Don't blame yourself.
I know I'm in the wrong because I hurt him before you could explain what happened. I also know he's a new God, so his senses aren't as sharp as yours." Moon was silent. "You tired?" He asked. "I haven't slept much lately."
"I can tell. Come on. You can sleep at my place, it's nice and warm there."
"Can I play with your dog?" Brue chuckled. "Sure." Moon followed his brother into the bright portal. Now he's not alone. Yet some part of him feels missing.
I know it's short. I wanted to make an angsty chapter today. I made new Gods. Hyuki, Healing God Moon's friend. Mala, Cupid, Moon's best friend. (Jay is the God of Love, not Cupid.) Sorry for not updating. I had no ideas lately.
