Back in Jubilife Village, the group was plotting out their next legendary targets.

"So, who should we try to capture next?" Hope said.

"Hmm… I don't know about you, but there are two hotspots we can check. Obsidian Fieldlands, and Cobalt Coastlands." Sectonia said.

"Mari, didn't you say you found a suspicious spot where Heatran might be hanging out on Firespit Island?" Scorpia asked.

"Well I heard a roar coming from the volcano there." Mari said. "It was definitely Heatran since Simon's Heatran, Vulcanus emits the same roar."

"Hmm.. I did see a cave opening inside the Molten Arena. Maybe that's where the roar came from." Perfuma said.

"Well yeah, Heatran is known to dwell in volcanic caverns." Simon said.

"Then we know where we're going. Let's depart for Firespit Island." Hope said.

"Hmm… I'm a bit curious as to what could be lurking in the Obsidian Fieldlands, though." Sectonia said. "Would it be alright if I grabbed a few people to check that out?"

"Go right ahead, Sectonia." Hope said.

"I'd be glad to accompany you, Milady." Spade said.

"Let me come to Firespit Island, I think that there might be a Pokémon that might fit like the Hisuian Growlithe I first got here." Gus added.

"I'll go with Sectonia." Perfuma said. "I'm not sure I'm comfortable going back to Firespit island. And the Pokémon that might be there could be interesting."

"Let's go." they said as they split into two teams.

With the Sectonia Team, they scoured the area as they approached the Floaro Flower Fields to find a fresh field of freshly bloomed flowers.

"Strange…this wasn't here last time I came." Perfuma said as one of the flowers was moving. "What in the…" she said as a small hedgehog-like creature ventures out of the field.

"Wait…that's…a Shaymin!" Ayase said.

"Aw, she looks so cute." Sectonia said.

Shaymin just roamed the fields happily before it was soon set upon by an Alpha Vespiquen.

"Look out!" Sectonia said as she sent out her own Vespiquen.

"Let's take it down together!" Perfuma said sending out Decidueye.

The two Pokémon mon worked together as they put the large Alpha into the corner before dropping a strange plate.

"There it is. That must be the Stone Plate that Granite lost." Sectonia said before throwing a Heavy Ball at the Alpha Vespiquen. The ball moved for a bit before it clicked.

"Nice. A new addition to your hive, perhaps?" Spade asked.

"Ha. Good one." Sectonia said as the smaller Vespiquen scooped up Shaymin and pet her to calm her down. "There there. You're safe now."

Shaymin couldn't help but bloom in delight upon seeing its rescuers.

"Aw…its blooming with gratitude." Perfuma said. "Say…wanna come with us?" she asked.

Shaymin squealed with delight as the ball was tapped on it as it was pulled in.

"And that is how you catch a Shaymin…with gratitude." Perfuma said. "Wonder how the others are doing?"

Meanwhile on Firespit Island…

"Yeah…this is what I thought would happen." Hope said as Heatran roared while summoning pillars of lava.

"We're not going to be able to catch it while it has that flame barrier up." Tsubaki said. "I'll just have to do the same thing Ayase did…" she said as she picked up a ball of mud and started tossing it.

Heatran only growled as the mud burned against its barrier as it looked more agitated.

"One ball of mud isn't going to do it, it looks like. I'll need more." Tsubaki said as she threw some more mud.

"Uh…Tsubaki…maybe you better…" Keith said as Heatran prepared to attack before Gus intercepted the Pokémon.

"Whoa…okay…that was way too close. But at least I got its barrier down." Tsubaki said.

"Thanks. Now, leave the rest to me." Gus said.

Heatran roared as it glared right at Gus.

"Good luck, Gus!" Hope said.

"Alright." Gus remarked before he then eyed the Heatran, who was roaring at him with rage. "Looks like it's going to be a bit difficult."

The Heatran began to rapidly charge at Gus, who was forced to dodge-roll side to side to avoid the charge, as it even began to create pillars of flames to try and scorch the young hero. However, Gus kept his cool, as he kept on evading its attack, waiting for the right moment to attack, as Hearan paused for a moment, allowing Gus to pick up his Pokéball, and send out Hisuian Growlithe.

"Growlithe, don't get yourself hit, make sure you get safe and clear shots on that Legendary!" Gus ordered his Pokémon, as the small dog-like Pokémon growled in response, before it then began to leap across the field, as its small figure made it hard for the Legendary to land any significant hits.

The Hisuian Growlithe zipped across the field, hitting Heatran with hit-and-run tactics, landing Crunches and Tackles that managed to wear the Legendary down, as the opposing Pokémon used various moves to try and take out the smaller Pokémon, using its own body and environment to do so.

However, eventually, the Hisuian Growlithe managed to bring Heatran down, even though the dog Pokémon was already exhausted itself, and slightly burned and hurt from the fighting.

"You did a good job." Gus remarked, before recalling his Pokémon, as he tossed a Leaden Ball, given to him for this purpose by his companions, as it landed right onto Heatran, capturing it, as the capture was easily successful.

Gus then picked up the Pokéball, and sighed in relief, before turning to the others. "...Thanks to all of you for the assist." He thanked them.

"No problem, Gus." Tsubaki said with a bow. She then saw a silver plate where Heatran had been standing. "The Iron Plate…all ours."

"Ah, the same one that Mercury found." Mari said.

"So true." Tsubaki said. "Not much longer now."
