Episode 1: Bakugan, The Battle Begins
The scene opens up to show a birds eye view of the city known as Musutafu, it wasn't that grand of a city, but it was still pretty big, filled with plenty of schools, hero agencies and, of course, Pro Heroes.
But right now we aren't focusing on them, instead we are focusing on a certain green haired boy as he is seen running to his home, his home being an apartment, he was currently wearing his training outfit, being a white shirt and green shorts, he quickly runs inside and closes the door, passing his mom who was in fitness clothes and practicing yoga on a yoga mat while watching a fitness channel.
"Izuku, no running in the apartment" Inko Midoriya said as she struggled on one yoga pose.
"Sorry mom" she heard her son say as he went into his room, ever since her son started to eat healthy meals and exercising, she thought she might as well get some fitness in too, she had been looking on the pudgy side for a while.
In Izuku's room, it was filled with many figurines and posters of the Number 1. hero in all of Japan, if not the world, All Might, the hero's large smile plastered on all of the merchandise Izuku had, however instead of focusing on his All Might collection, Izuku went through his draws and pulled out a small box.
"Alright, who should I use today?" Izuku said as he opened the box, revealing to be a ton of red Bakugan he had collected and won, Izuku was considered a very good battle brawler among any Bakugan players, he didn't check his ranking in a while, but he remembered the last time he check he was ranked 176, 8 spaces behind his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugou.
"Ok, I'll take this one...Saurus definitely...this one for sure!" Izuku said as he picked out 3 bakugan, "All set!".
He then quickly changes his clothes into his Brawler outfit.
This outfit consisted of a green shirt with a red short sleeved jacket with the bakugan symbol for fire, Pyrus, on the back of the jacket, he was wearing red cargo pants with black pouches around the knees, he is also wearing his favourite red shoes and a black belt with a silver clip for holding his Bakugan, he also wore blue fingerless gloves.
He then leaves his room as his mother was doing another yoga pose.
"Be sure to be back later sweetie, don't be late" Inko said as she tried keeping her balance on the yoga mat.
"I won't mom, see you later" Izuku said as he quickly ran out and closed the door behind him, he started running to his next location.
He was halfway there when he caught sight of a hero and villain battle, a Bakugan battle to boot!
When Bakugan first appeared, the government were quick to initialise them into hero work, Heroes would be gifted a special bakupod, a watch like device every Bakugan player has, it would have a special device inside called a Field Gate Generator, allowing Bakugan to appear on earth without freezing time or getting transported to the pocket dimension the Bakugan players called the Field Space.
The heroes he saw were common ones lately, Kamui Woods, the Wood Hero whose quirk allowed him to manipulate the wood on his body and Mt. Lady, the Giantess Hero who had the ability to grow up to 62ft, according to Izuku's notes anyway.
Kamui Woods was facing off against some low level criminals, however they weren't so low level when one of them unleashed a Darkus bakugan, which was classified as a Darkus Warrius, a warrior type bakugan.
"Ya got no Chance Kamui! Warrius is gonna make you go down in splinters!" one of the thugs mocked.
"I don't think so," Kamui Woods said as he pulled out a Subterra Bakugan, "Bakugan Brawl!" he threw the bakugan as it landed on the street and opened up, "Subterra Hynoid Stand!".
Suddenly a brown werewolf-like creature appeared from an orange light, this was Subterra Hyniod, a Lupin type bakugan that was fast and agile.
"Hynoid! Subdue the Warrius!" he commanded his bakugan as Hynoid quickly grabbed Warrius' club and quickly made it behind Warrius, Hynoid then grabbed the Darkus bakugans arms and proceed to lift it up and drops it behind them, Warriors was quick to form back into a ball as the thugs cowered but one of them didn't give up and sent another bakugan out
"Go Ventus Limulus!" Suddenly a green giant trilobite like creature appeared, this was Ventus Limulus, the thug then pulled out an ability card, a card that gave Bakugan power and ability to use special attacks.
"Ability activate! Blow Away!" The thug announced as the card glowed green, suddenly the Limulus summoned a massive amount of wind and shot it towards Hynoid and Kamui, who both were struggling against the wind.
"My turn!" suddenly, running through the wind was Mt Lady, she had grown giant and easily ran through the strong wind currents and attacked Limulus, advantage for her since she was big enough to fight bakugan herself, but that didn't mean she didn't like to use bakugan, she was a fan of Aquos bakugan after all.
The thugs cowered once more as Mt Lady easily took down their bakugan, she then easily grabbed them in her hands, capturing them easily as she then passed them down to some awaiting officers on the ground as the thugs were quickly arrested, not even 5 seconds later photographers ran onto the scene, taking photos of Mt Lady at, 'certain' angles.
Izuku loved seeing Hero and Bakugan battles, but quickly remembered where he was supposed to be and started running again.
He then finally made it to his location, it was a park with a large water fountain, Izuku then sees the person he was looking for, a kid with a green shirt with a yellow light bulb on it over a long sleeve black shirt, blue shorts, red baseball cap in reverse, large front teeth and red hair, "Sorry I'm late!" Izuku quickly said to the kid
"And here I thought you might have chickened out." said the little kid with a smug grin.
"Doubt that Akira, I was on my way here when I saw a hero and Bakugan battle" Izuku said as the kid now known as Akira perked up.
"Really? What heroes were there?" he asked.
"It was Kamui Woods and Mt Lady, Kamui had his Subterra Hynoid with him" Izuku said before noticing the larger kid with Akira, "and who did you bring with you? Hope it's backup, cuz you're gonna need it." said Izuku with a confident smile as he noticed the larger kid with him, normally Izuku wouldn't be this confident, but ever since Bakugan appeared, he was more confident in Bakugan than any fights involving quirks.
"Your battle isn't with me Izuku." said Akira with a sly smirk over his face as his friend, who actually turns out to be his brother stood up.
"Whoa. Yeah I don't think this is very fair." said Izuku when he saw how big he was. Not in size, but in weight.
"My little bro here says you think you're pretty good. Well I guess it's time to find out how good you really are." said the brawler as he cracked his knuckles this guy wore a stretched out white shirt, orange sleeveless jacket, green shorts with orange circles on the side, dark orange shoes and black fingerless gloves, his hair was brown and so were his eyes.
Izuku just smirked. "Yeah I'm pretty good, what about you? What's your deal?" he asked the brawler.
"Names Shuji, and I'm the Master of... Subterra Space." he said with a smug grin on his face.
Present Mic: Shuji, Quirkless, Attribute alignment, Subterra...for now, This brawler has been known to never give up in the Bakugan game, even when he fails at most battles.
"Huh, Subterra, that's a new one" he said, just before his eyes widened as he realized something. "Wait, aren't you THAT Shuji who changes his attribute after every battle?" he asked while crossing his arms.
"Maybe I am you twerp- HEY QUIT YOUR STALLING!" yelled Shuji. Izuku turned to him, bringing back his confident smile.
"Okay, fine let's do this. But I gotta warn ya, I never lost a battle before." said Izuku while pumping up his fist.
Meanwhile in an abandoned construction site, multiple explosions go off as then a blonde spiky haired kid with red eyes appears with a black tank top and grey shorts pants in exhaustion before suddenly letting off explosions from his hands, this is Katsuki Bakugo, "Gotta keep training! Damn Deku will see he made a mistake in joining the entrance exam for U.A!" Katsuki said as as lets off an explosion onto a pillar, when it crumbles down, cracks start forming on the ceiling above Bakugo, not realising it just yet.
Back in the park, Izuku and Shuji were in the middle of a standoff. "Are you ready or what?" asked Shuji, feeling determined to beat Izuku.
"Lets go!" Akira yelled out cheering on his brother. Izuku simply smirked knowing he could beat him. A moment of silence filled the area, but then the fountain turned on as pigeons flew away. Izuku and Shuji quickly drew out their cards.
"BAKUGAN... FIELD OPEN!"
The six attributes soon appear beneath them circling them as they begin to enter what the brawlers called a "Pocket Dimension". Time around them was starting to slow down.
Meanwhile at back at the abandoned construction site, the ceiling finally crumbled, letting large amounts of debris fall down, the whole thing is in slow mo as Katsuki looks up to see the debris about to fall onto him, however he smirks as he raises his hands in the air, small sparks letting off from them.
Back at the park, Izuku and Shuji entered the pocket Dimension. And all the attribute worlds circled around them. They both pulled out their gate cards. "GATE CARD SET!" they both yelled as they threw them onto the battlefield. Both cards glowed brightly, one being red, the other orange. They grew bigger to fill the battlefield. Izuku and Shuji landed on opposite sides of each other.
Shuji held up a Bakugan that was brown with orange textures. "Ready or not, here I come!" he yelled as he threw the Bakugan onto the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called as the ball formed into what looked like a Mantis. The Bakugan glowed brightly as it appeared in its real form.
Present Mic: Say Hello to Shuji's Mantris, Attribute, Subterra! a Bakugan that resembles Earth's ordinary praying mantis, it's said that their scythe like appendages can cut through steel! Don't want these guys cutting your hedges.
It hissed ferociously as it rose up, surprising Izuku.
"Whoa. Freaky!" Izuku said with a surprised expression, Mantris looked at him and hissed nearly crushing Izuku with its clawed feet. But Izuku managed to leap back avoiding it, he opened his Bakupod to look at Mantris's information.
"Welcome Izuku. Opponent Subterra Mantris. Power Level 270 G's. No other data available." said the Bakupod.
"Oh great. Okay, Terra means Earth, and his power levels at 270. So at least I know what kind of beast I'm dealing with here. Question is, what should I counter with?" He reached to his side pulling out a Bakugan as he formed a confident smirk over his face. "Your little bug is going down!" sad Izuku as he flipped the Bakugan like a coin and caught. He threw it onto the Battlefield. "Bakugan Stand!" he yelled as the Bakugan formed into a snake-like creature. It glowed as it turned into its true form.
Present Mic: Check out this kids Serpenoid, Attribute: Pyrus, a slithering monster that can wrap itself around a foe squeezing the life out of its opponents.
Serpenoid turned to Mantris and hissed ferociously.
"Power Level 320 G's." said Izuku's Bakupod revealing both Serpenoid's and Mantris's power levels.
"Bakugan BRAWL!" yelled both Izuku and Shuji as both their Bakugan started to battle. Mantris was the first to attack, swinging its giant blade at Serpenoid. But Serpenoid managed to dodge it and coil around Mantris.
"All right!" Izuku cheered. But he soon heard Shuji letting out a chuckle. "Huh?"
Shuji pointed to his Gate Card. "Gate Card, open up now!" he yelled as the card began to glow. The land around them soon turned into a dry desert, and Izuku couldn't help but notice the Egyptian Pyramids appearing in the background. He then looked to Mantris and Serpenoid as Mantis dove into the ground escaping Serpenoid's grasp. Serpenoid searched the battlefield for him.
Izuku looked to his Bakupod. "Power level increase, to 420 G's." Izuku began to panic. "That's not good!"
Right on cue, Mantris leaped out of the sand surprising Serpenoid as it slashed at it. Forcing Serpenoid to revert to ball form landing right next to Izuku. Shuji pumped up his first with a smirk. "You're toast!" he yelled as Mantris reverted back to ball form and returned to him.
"Battle 1 terminated, Subterra Mantris victorious." said Izuku's Bakupod as Shuji laughed at him.
"Oh man, that was so easy. You fell faster than a deck of cards in a tornado!" said Shuji, being all smug. He soon pulled out another Bakugan. "Time to finish what I started." he said as he threw out the Bakugan onto Izuku's Gate Card. It opened up in the form of a crab. "Bakugan Stand!" The Bakugan glowed and turned into its true form.
Present Mic: Get a load at this big guy, its Terrorclaw, Attribute, Subterra, it has two large, strong and sharp pincers used to squeeze its enemies. With six legs, it is one of the fastest monsters.
"You think you're pretty good huh? Well you better buckle up Shuji because... you're going down! Bakugan Brawl!" Izuku yelled as he threw out his next Bakugan. It landed on the same Gate Card as Terrorclaw and opened up revealing the form of a humanoid bird. "Bakugan Stand!" The Bakugan glowed and turned into its true form.
Present Mic: Introducing Falconeer, Attribute: Pyrus, it can fly amazingly fast with great maneuverability, targeting its prey from high above. It is a Bakugan with extreme vision, seeing things at a great distance. Most importantly, this special Bakugan can resurrect itself and right any wrong it may have experienced. Defeating it once is simply not enough, talk about a tough birdy.
"Gate Card Open!" Izuku's Gate Card shined brightly as flames shot out from it. Shuji shielded himself as well as Terrorclaw. But was caught off guard as Falconeer charged at it and struck it down. Terrorclaw was defeated as he reverted to ball form landing next to Shuji, he couldn't believe what he saw. Falconeer also reverted to ball form and returned to Izuku who smirked confidently. "It's all tied up!" said Izuku.
Shuji glared at him. "Not for long! Gate Card Set!" he yelled tossing out his Gate Card.
"Round 3 begins." said the Bakupod as two Bakugan appeared on the Battlefield. they were both Saurus Bakugan, but were of different attributes, they resembled humanoid rhynos with armor in respective attribute colors.
Present Mic: Check it out, it's Saurus, these guys are tough Bakugan that attack their enemy's head and have a straightforward fighting style. Saurus has a quick temper and can break the ground in two with mighty punches, also, if his horns break off, they will instantly grow back. It is almost impossible to knock Saurus down as he is extremely heavy.
The two Saurus Bakugan were wrestling one another, trying to knock one off their feet.
"Ability Activate! Saurus Glow!" yelled Izuku throwing down an Ability Card as flames shot out to Pyrus Saurus. Shuji began to panic as the Pyrus Saurus charged at his Subterra opposite and tackled him down. Shuji saw his Subterra Saurus falling towards him and panicked. He shielded himself but was unaware that Subterra Saurus reverted to ball form and landed next to him.
"Huh?" he looked and saw his Saurus next to his feet. "No... no this can't be happening!" he said feeling quite shocked.
Izuku smirked as he held his hands to his hips. "Hate to break it to you bud, but it looks like you're down to your Subterra Mantris. And if I figured right, one more little battle should put you away for good." said Izuku knowing he was right.
Shuji shot another glare at him. "We'll just see that you green haired punk! Gate Card Set!" he yelled tossing out his third Gate Card. "Bakugan Brawl!" he yelled, tossing out his Subterra Mantris as it appeared on the Battlefield hissing at Izuku. He then threw out his Pyrus Falconeer onto the Battlefield.
"Bakugan Brawl!" yelled Izuku as Falconeer emerged through flames.
"Gate Card Open!" Shuji yelled as the Gate Card formed into a dry desert to boost Mantris's power level. "Now to play my ability card. Slice Cutter!" He said while throwing the Ability Card to Mantris. It absorbed the Ability Card as its claws began to glow shooting an energy blast in the form of an 'X' at Falconeer.
Izuku smirked as he pulled out an Ability Card. "Wow, I'm impressed, but if you think you're the only one holding an ace. You're wrong."
Shuji glared at him. "Smart Mouth!"
"Counter Ability Activate! Frame Fire!" said Izuku as he shot out the Ability Card as it burst into flames shielding Falconeer from Mantris's Slice Cutter.
"What the?!" Shuji panicked.
The flames around Falconeer disappeared as it shot a fire ball at Mantris, landing a direct hit. Mantris returned to ball form landing right next to Shuji. Falconeer returned to ball form and went back to Izuku. "Mmm-hmm."
"Game, set, and match. Izuku." said Izuku's Bakupod.
"It looks like I win." said Izuku as the Pocket Dimension disappeared, resuming where time stopped.
Back at the abandoned building, time resumed as Bakugo suddenly let out a massive upward explosion, destroying the debris instantly, "Tch, nothing gets the drop on me!" he said as he continued his quirk training.
Akira watched Izuku and Shuji stood but noticed Shuji's Bakugan lying on the ground. "Huh?! I don't believe it! You promised me you would clean his clock! What happened?!" asked Akira filled with shock and anger.
Shuji fell to his knees in defeat. "I'm sorry..."
Izuku smirked as he winked. "That was easy." he said before smiling kindly as he held a hand out to Shuji, who looked up with confusion, "No hard feelings Shuji" the greenette said before Shuji accepted the help up before scowling.
"This doesn't make us buddy buddy Midoriya, I'll defeat you next time!" he said before picking up his bakugan and walking off, Akira following his brother, Izuku still smiled in kindness as he walked back home.
Night fell over Izuku's home town, and he recently arrived home to chat with his friends online. "Then I let him have it with my secret weapon, Frame Fire. Man you should have seen me, it was totally awesome! I wouldn't be surprised if I made it past 130 by now" he boasted to his friends. Then a yellow haired boy on his computer screen had to acknowledge the elephant in the room.
"Well Izuku, I just checked the world rankings, and you're sitting at 121." This was Denki Kaminari, a Haos Brawler. He wore a white shirt with a yellow pocket on his left and the Haos symbol on the chest of the shirt as well as black and yellow wrist gloves that are fingerless. He also has black tracksuit pants and white socks with black shoes. His hair is messy and had a black lightning bolt shape in it and his eyes were yellow, his video tab had the Haos symbol on the top left corner.
Izuku looked surprised. "That's impossible Denki... I've got to check this out for myself. Scrolling up..." He scrolled through the rankings to find his rank. "Ah 117!" said Izuku as he corrected Denki but also surprised at his ranking, he didn't realize how close he was to top 100.
"Oh please, give me a break! You should save your breath until you break into the top ten, damn nerd." said Bakugo, being completely smug, he changed out of his training outfit into a black and red shirt with a skull on the front and he had blue baggy sweatpants on with grey socks, the blondes symbol on his video tab having the Pyrus symbol.
"Yeah you're probably right Kacchan, it would take me awhile to get near there though" Izuku said, agreeing with his childhood friend and fellow brawler.
"Damn right I am!" said Katsuki with a smirk. A girl on another screen soon appeared with a bright smile, her tabs symbol having the Subterra symbol.
"Thats amazing Izuku! 117? That's four whole spots in one day! Man you are on fire!" This was Ochako Uraraka, a Subterra Brawler. She is a pretty girl with light skin, short, brown hair, and has round brown eyes, she was wearing a grey shirt with pink stripes on it and a brown pocket on the left side with the subterra symbol on it, she was wearing black shorts and white socks.
Laughing was heard as they see another video tab with the blue bakugan symbol for Aquos, the water attribute, showing a girl with pink skin, pink hair and horns coming out of her head, she has yellow eyes with black sclera, she has on a grey shirt with the Aquos symbol on the front, she was wearing blue and purple shorts with black knee high socks.
"Was that a pun from our fellow brawler? Ochako I never knew you had comedy material" said the pink girl, Mina Ashido, she was a Aquos Brawler and quick to make puns and enjoy some fun, she was rather goofy and tries to make every situation fun whenever she can, even if its something random, including puns, those were her favorite thing to use for fun.
"Uh...maybe?" Ochako said unsure of herself, but Mina didn't mind, intentional or not, a pun is a pun.
"Well your ranking is impressive either way Izuku, I'm proud of you coming so far" in another video tab was a red headed girl with long hair, she wore a yellow dress that had straps over her shoulders and a green blouse underneath with it being held by a ring around her neck with white shorts and small boots colored white and green, she has brown eyes, this was Alice Gehabich, she didn't have a set attribute as she didn't participate in brawls, but she is very familiar with Bakugan battles and how the game works.
"Thanks Alice" Izuku said with a small blush, no matter how long he played Bakugan, he could never get used to praise like this.
"Izuku, might I suggest you set your sights on Shun?" The girl with black hair in a large pony tail was Momo Yaoyorozu, an Aquos Brawler. She is a wealthy, generous girl who specializes in Aquos. She is the one of the Brains of the Brawlers, a real walking encyclopedia, next to Alice who was also very knowledgeable. She loves to play Bakugan and to work on strategies. "He's ranked Number 1, and in a few years you could surpass him." This caught Izuku off guard as he looked down. This didn't go unnoticed from a girl on another screen.
"In a few years?" This was Kyoka Jiro, she's a Ventus Brawler, the attribute of wind, as her video tab showed the green symbol in the corner. Her outfit was a black tank top with the ventus symbol printed on it, she has green wrist bands on and black knee length shorts with green trim, small boots colored black. Her hair is short and purple and she has triangular onyx eyes, she also had earphone jacks attached to wire like appendages on her ears. "There has to be a way for you to challenge him or something. Isn't there?" she asked curiously.
"Huh... I bet I can take that jerk." Bakugo said while leaning back in his chair. "I don't mean to brag you know but... no ones come even close to challenging me." he said as he stared at the sealing of his bedroom on his video. "Better look out Shun... because I'm gonna take you down."
Izuku however looked worried, no one in the group had heard from their other battle brawler, Shun, for a while, ever since...the incident happened, Shun hadn't talked with any of them for months, he was avoiding them, Izuku was worried for his friends well being.
"So Midori, any luck on your theory yet?" Mina asked the greenette who sighed.
"No, nothing yet, but I swear I feel like there is something more to the Bakugan'' Izuku said as he picked up one of his Bakugan from his box and looked at it with focus, "The government say they are programmed like beasts yet they look and act so real and have so many characteristics to real creatures, I feel like they must be real beings ya know? I just feel like...it's more than just a game" Izuku said as his fellow brawlers, except for Bakugo, took in his words carefully.
Meanwhile at a Japanese looking training dojo, a brawler sat outside looking at the moon. This was Shun Kazami, a Ventus Brawler. His outfit was a black shirt, covered with a thin purple triangular-backed ending. He had black pants with a brown zipper like designs on around them. His black hair consists of two layers. The first layer of hair is the front all one his forehead, and his second layer is the straight hair tied up with a ponytail. His light brown eyes are in an upset mood. "Ha... defending my ranking has been a joke when battling these amateurs. What I need is a serious challenger, one that understands the power that lies in the Vestroia dimension."
"If only more humans could be like the one they called Izuku and understand that Bakugan is not just a game. An even larger battle was taking place in my universe, Vestroia! A universe fueled by six worlds, each with its own Element. The Earth Element called, Subterra!" A Subterra Juggernoid emerged from the ground as a giant stone golem rose up from the mountains and a gladiator looking bakugan ran past them and towards an ongoing fight with a T-rex looking beast.
"The Element of Light, Haos!" A Haos Siege twirled his staff as a tiger looking creature roared out while a horse looking creature with wings and a horn flew by, shining a powerful light from its horn.
"The Dark Element, Darkus!" Darkness surrounded the area, then a hydra type beast flew by with a dragon looking beast with 2 heads flying by while breathing purple fire, while a bakugan that looked like a humanoid ram watched with interest with its red eyes.
"Aquos, or what humans would call... the Water Element." An Aquos Robotallion emerged from the water, as a humanoid reptile sat on an iceberg while a 5 headed hydra looking creature watched everything with focus and a knight looking bakugan with tentacles coming out of it kept guard on a lone iceberg.
"The Wind Element, Ventus!" A Ventus Falconeer flew towards the tornado's as a phoenix-like creature flew past it while a griffon-like creature flew by and released a sonic blast from its beak.
"And the Fire Element, Pyrus!" Out of the flames, a white looking Bakugan flew out trying to reach his destination. But its path was blocked by another Bakugan. "Naga! Wait!" the Pyrus Bakugan yelled as he got in Naga's way.
"Out of my way Drago!" yelled Naga, for he looked like a skeletal, split-nosed (with a seeming cleft lip and plate), wyvern and dragon-like Bakugan who was an outcast. The other Dragon was Pyrus Dragonoid. He has clawed wings and feet, a long neck, slender body and a long, sharp, horn on the end of the snout. He has small spikes along his back.
"Why are you so obsessed with gaining all this power Naga? You know that it will only lead to your ultimate destruction!" he advised Naga.
"SILENCE!" yelled Naga. "You have no idea of what we feel inside! You know nothing of our world!" he said angrily.
"I suspect that you were one behind the human that they call Michael. What I'd like to know is, where did you find him?" asked Drago as he glared at Naga.
Naga chuckled at him as he held up a card. "Do you know what this is?" he asked. Drago saw it as he squinted his eyes with a growl. Naga threw the card out as it opened a portal.
"A portal!?" asked Drago.
"Yes!" yelled Naga as he flew into the portal. "It leads to the source of the power!"
Drago was about to go after him but he saw the portal close. "But to where...?" he asked.
"THE DIMENSION OF VESTROIA!" yelled Naga for he was nowhere to be seen. Drago knew something was wrong, he had to find a way to stop Naga before it was too late.
Back on earth, it was the next day and it was the sunset, Izuku had just made it to Dagobah Beach, where his training for U.A and becoming All Mights successor had taken place months ago, he was already 9 months in and had made tremendous progress, his muscles were more developed over time and he had gotten stronger.
While he was impressive with Bakugan, training for a quirk was literal Hell for Izuku, he nearly made himself sick multiple times while training, even over doing it once, but he learned his lesson.
Just before he left his house today for more training, he got a call from All Might, saying he should come over in his Brawler outfit, not wanting to deny his idol, Izuku agreed and went out in his brawler outfit.
As he walked onto the beach, he saw his mentor, but not in his muscle form, but he weak and skeletal form, the 2 strands of blond hair that was normally straight up, were now dangling down in front of his face, he wore a white shirt that was too big for him and green cargo pants that were held up by the belt around his waist and black shoes.
"Good to see you in your Bakugan attire young Midoriya" All Might said.
"Th-thanks All Might, y-you c-can guess I-I'm a Pyrus user, j-j-just l-like y-you" Izuku was nervous, since his mentor, not only the Number 1. Hero, but was also a Pyrus user like him.
"Yes I can tell, a good choice if I'm being honest, shows you got a fiery passion" All Might said before suddenly he spewed out blood as he panicked and saw something he didn't expect, Izuku panicked at this but turned around to see what his mentor was looking at and was surprised, it was Shuji and Akira.
"They must've followed me here and I didn't notice," Izuku said before walking over to the 2 kids while All Might hid by some trash that was still on the beach.
Shuji marched towards Izuku with a smug look, "I want a rematch" he declared while his arms were crossed, Izuku noticed Akira mimicking his movements from behind him.
"Come on Shuji, I thought there were no hard feelings" Izuku tried to pacify the situation, but it was for nothing.
"Just zip it! Either we brawl or I let my fist do the talking!" Shuji threatened, Izuku looked from the corner of his eye to see All Might, who surprisingly was giving him a thumbs up to do it, he sighed before pulling out a card from his pocket, boy was he glad he brought bakugan with him today.
"BAKUGAN! FIELD OPEN!" they both yelled as they entered the pocket dimension.
"GATE CARD SET!" They both yelled as they threw down their cards, this time however Shuji's card glowed purple as it grew.
"Let's do this! Bakugan Brawl!" he yelled as he threw out his Bakugan, which was black and purple, landing it on his card. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as the Bakugan he threw opened up into the form of a turtle. It glowed and turned into its true form.
Present Mic: Check it! Shuji has changed his attribute once again, anyways, here's Juggernoid, Attribute: Darkus! a massive turtle-like Bakugan that bears a hard shell. It can enter into its shell to execute an attack.
It came out of its shell and showed its red eyes and snarled at Izuku.
"Oh no" Izuku said worriedly, "how in the world did you ever get a hold of a Darkus beast?!" Izuku asked.
"Here's a thought kid, why don't you call me... Master of Darkus." Shuji boasted.
Izuku gave him a deadpanned look. "Seriously Shuji, this is honestly predictable with how many times you have changed attributes." said Izuku as Shuji got frustrated.
"I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU YA LITTLE CREEP! ARE WE GONNA DO THIS OR WHAT?!" he asked angrily.
"S-sure, just give me a minute" Izuku said as he calculated his situation, "What should I counter with? Something big or small?" he asked himself as he thought before coming to a conclusion, "I got it".
"Bakugan Brawl!" Izuku yelled as he threw his bakugan over Juggernoid and onto the other card, "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as his Pyrus Saurus appeared, growling at Shuji.
"Ah come on, you gotta be kidding! That's it? That's all you got?!" Shuji asked him.
"Hey! Didn't anyone ever tell you size doesn't always matter?!" Izuku replied
"Its your funeral, now to blow this little twerp away for good. Bakugan Brawl!" he yelled throwing out a brand new Bakugan. It landed and opened up into a scorpion looking creature. It glowed as it began to revert to its true form. "Darkus Stinglash Stand!" yelled Shuji as Stinglash emerged.
Present Mic: Get a load of Stinglash! Attribute: Darkus, a scorpion with two massive pincers that can cut through almost anything. A titanium exoskeleton gives Stinglash extremely good protection. Its tail is slow moving, but contains poisonous venom for which there is no cure.
Izuku checked his bakupod and gasped in shock. "Darkus Stinglash power level 330 G's. Saurus power level 280 G's." said the Bakupod. Stinglash struck at Saurus with its stinger, but Saurus managed to dodge the slow moving stinger. Stinglash went to strike again but Saurus caught his stinger.
"Looks like I need a little power boost. Bakugan Gate Card Open!" Izuku yelled as flames emerged from his Gate Card. "Saurus power boost to 310 G's." Izuku's Bakupod said, but Izuku knew it wasn't enough, 'Man this is not looking good, if I don't find a way to boost Saurus's power by at least 20 or more, my beast is fried!' Izuku said in his head.
Stinglash shielded itself from the flames but looked to Saurus knowing it was still stronger than it. It shrieked at Saurus as it grabbed hold of its leg, Saurus struggled to get free. But it was too late, Stinglash punched Saurus away with its free pincer, forcing him to revert to ball form. Izuku saw it land right next to him. Stinglash reverted back to ball form and returned to Shuji as he began to laugh. "So how does it feel to get your butt kicked good and proper?".
"Hey, this battle is far from over." Izuku said with a confident smirk.
Meanwhile in Vestroia, Naga had just exited the power he went through to escape the Pyrus Space. He approached two glowing orbs that shined brightly. "Yes... I have reached the center of the universe... amazing...!" he said as he stood before the two cores of Vestroia.
"There they are, the two conflicting forces. Infinity, and Silence. They keep the Dimension in balance." he said as he flew towards the Silent Core. "If I can absorb these two energies... HAHAHAHA! I can unite with Hal-G! And together, we can conquer Earth, and Vestroia!" he yelled out as he began to absorb the negative energies of the Silent Core.
"The Power! Feel the glorious power!" he consumed more energy from the core. "Excellent... the power, the infinite power building inside of me.. I-" before he could finish, something went terribly wrong. He was being pulled towards the Silent Core.
"No... what's happened...?! An overload of negative energy?! I can't control the Balance! Too much! Too much!" he struggled to pull away from the Silent Core. "No! Not enough, positive energy! Out of control! NOOOOO!" he was completely pulled into the Silent Core, as its energy pushed the Infinity Core away, sending it away to where he did not know as it created a portal, the Infinity core traveling through it.
A wave of Negative Energy shot all over Vestroia, all the Bakugan felt its effects. In the Darkus Space, a warrior looking Bakugan appeared. Fear Ripper, it uses its sharp and big claws, which are triple the size of its head for cutting and slashing enemies. It felt the Negative Energy and was completely consumed by it.
Meanwhile in Pyrus Space, Drago felt the Negative Energy as well, but was unaffected by it. "What's... happening...?!" he asked as he looked around but realized what happened.
"Naga... this must be Naga's doing!" The Pyrus Space was beginning to collapse upon itself, Drago soon noticed something approaching, it was Darkus Fear Ripper. It charged at Drago and went to strike him with its large claws, but Drago dodged the attack. "What's a Darkus Bakugan doing in Pyrus Space?!" he asked as he dodged the Fear Rippers charge again but got grabbed.
Izuku watched the battle but soon felt the wave of Negative Energy.
Izuku looked around as he somehow entered a strange vision. "Huh?" he looked around finding himself in Pyrus Space. "What the? Where am I? What is this place?!." Suddenly Drago and Fear Ripper appeared before him.
Izuku was surprised as Drago looked him right in the eye, both emerald and green eyes making visual contact, Izuku watched as Drago and Fear Ripper fought each other.
"It's like a new dimension is filling our Bakugan with more power. Right in the middle of the battlefield" he watched as Drago rammed his horn against Fear Ripper. "Why does my Bakugan have bigger flames? I've never seen anything like this before." Drago snarled and smacked Fear Ripper with his tail. "My Bakugan is getting so much stronger." before he could watch the rest of the battle, a bright light shone in front of him, as he shielded his eyes.
"Huh?" Izuku opened his eyes seeing his Pyrus Serpenoid and Shuji's Darkus Stinglash.
"That was just... totally weird..." said Izuku as he felt confused from what he saw.
"I'm not fooling around! It's time to end this battle!" yelled Shuji. "Darkus Stinglash attack!" he ordered his beast to attack. Stinglash went to sting Serpenoid, but it coiled around Stinglash holding him tightly within his coils. Shuji began to panic.
"Hey Shuji! What happened to all your trash talk?! Scared your Stinglash can't handle the pressure?!" asked Izuku. "Command Card! Quartet Battle Activate! Now!" yelled Izuku as the card glowed brightly. "Get Read Shuji! Cuz a few more Bakugan have been invited to the party!" he informed Shuji.
Suddenly Izuku's ability card started to glow.
"My... Ability Card is transforming..." he said with a surprised expression, then a glowing orb came out of it, along with Shuji's card, both the orbs turned into the ball forms of two different Bakugan, Izuku's card soon turned into a Dragonoid's Card. He was surprised by it. "Whoa... isn't this a Dragonoid's Card?" he asked curiously.
The two Bakugan that appeared landed on the Battlefield and reverted to their true forms. They both flew into the air revealing they were the same Bakugan Izuku saw. "Whoa! Those are the same beasts I saw in my vision!" he said in surprise.
"You must come to your senses!" yelled a voice that caught them off guard.
"Huh?" he looked around for the origin of the voice, "Who said that?" he asked before he looked to the Dragonoid. "Huh? Was it you...?" he asked the Dragonoid. Fear Ripper still had him in his clutches.
"Fear Ripper! Snap out of it! The Negative Energies of the Silent Core have taken over your power of reason!" yelled Drago trying to convince Fear Ripper to snap out of it.
Present Mic: Here comes Fear Ripper, Attribute: Darkus, it uses its sharp and big claws, which are triple the size of its head for cutting and slashing enemies.
"My ears aren't... playing tricks on me are they...?" asked Izuku before suddenly he thinks about his theory on the bakugan, 'Does this mean...I was right about the bakugan?!' he thought to himself, Fear Ripper's power started to build up as he tightened his grip over Drago. He was surprised by this development.
"His power is building...!" said Drago as he kicked Fear Ripper to break free. "BOOSTED DRAGON!" Drago snarled as he shot a giant fireball at Fear Ripper, ending the battle.
Izuku and Shuji exited the Pocket Dimension, letting time resume. Akira walked up to Shuji. "Are you okay man?" he asked him as Shuji sat on the ground.
"I lost again!" he yelled out as he began to cry in defeat.
Izuku was once again victorious, but for some reason, he was still surprised by what happened. "I can't believe it, I was right, Bakugan is more than a game." he said to himself before he looked to the Bakugan he held in his hand, and saw it was the Dragonoid. "There's more to it, and...I've got to find out what." he then looked to Shuji who was still crying in defeat, he walked to him and helped him up.
"Look Shuji, I'm sorry, so again, no hard feelings?" he said to which Shuji grunted as he picked up his bakugan and left with Akira following right after.
Izuku then walked over to where All Might was.
"So I take it you won that battle?" he asked his successor.
"Well yeah but…" Izuku began but tried to think on what to say next.
"But?" All Might asked.
"...All Might, have you ever thought that Bakugan was more than just a game?" Izuku asked his idol, to which All Might's eyes widened in shock, but All Might tried to hide his shocked expression.
"Uh what makes you say that Young Midoriya?!" he asked quite quickly before the next words hit him like a truck.
"Because I heard my bakugan talk" Izuku said as he showed the Dragonoid in his hand, All Might was shocked even more as he suddenly spewed blood out of his mouth before entering a coughing fit, Izuku freaked out before All Might stopped coughing blood.
"W-well Young Midoriya, perhaps that battle was that intense you started hearing things, perhaps some training will do you good and then you should head home" All Might said.
Izuki found this suspicious but felt he shouldn't question his Idol right now, so he did what All Might asked and began his training, by getting rid of all the heavy trash on the beach.
As All Might watched from the side lines, suddenly a pyrus bakugan appeared on his shoulder before talking, "Why didn't you tell him? He is your successor after all" the Bakugan said.
"I know, but I didn't expect it to be this soon...this means the villains in Vestroia have made their move" All Might said to which the bakugan opened up, revealing to be some type of knight type bakugan.
"Yes...and if this bakugan young Midoriya is what I think it is, perhaps its not too late for me to find a successor as well" the bakugan said as they watched Izuku, now in his training clothes, continue to train.
After training, Izuku had headed back home as night fell, he was in his room as he set the Pyrus Dragonoid on his desk, "Okay, if you're in there, talk to me, because I want to get to the bottom of this." Izuku see's he's not talking. "Please talk to me...your my only proof that Bakugan are living creatures and not some game pieces...please talk to me" he begged the bakugan but still nothing.
Izuku sighed as he tried over 10 minutes to get the bakugan to talk "I swear I heard you talk." he said as he looked at Drago. "Oh well, at least I know your a living creature... but seeing as your alive, you need a name...seeing as your a Dragonoid, I'm gonna call you Drago. Sweet, that's your new name buddy, hope you like it" said Izuku as he then went to his computer.
"Well, time to see what everyone else has done today." he said as he turned it on. When he logged on, his friends were all waiting for him.
"Izuku, you're there!" said Momo.
"Hey guys, sorry I took so long, the weirdest thing happened today, you see, I was brawling with this dude named Shuji, then all of a sudden I thought I heard my Bakugan talk." Izuku explained to his friends.
"No way! You too Midoriya?!" said Denki with a surprised expression.
Izuku was surprised at how she reacted. "What do you mean Denki? You saying someone else heard them too" he asked him
"You should log onto the Bakugan Site, it's what everyone's talking about Izuku" Kyoka informed him as Izuku logged onto the Bakugan Site, only to find kids were saying that their Bakugan began talking. Izuku gasped in surprise, he looked over to Drago.
"It did talk! I was right! The Bakugan World has a lot more than we thought!" Izuku thought in his head. He then looked at his friends in the video call, "Well, this helps my theory a lot huh?" he said with a nervous chuckle.
Izuku: Coming up next time on Bakugan Hero Brawlers, I try to get Drago to talk more, and surprisingly he does, but I think I need to earn his trust, because he doesn't seem to trust me, and to make matters worse, this new brawler named Masquerade shows up, he's been blasting everyone's bakugan in a place called the Doom Dimension, wait until you see what happens when the brawlers battle Masquerade and his partner Reaper! BAKUGAN BRAWL!
(Hope you like this chapter guys, only took me all day to do it, also to those who wanted Izuku to have Bakugan from further seasons...sorry not happening, he gets Drago, didn't you hear that he shares Dans Spot with Bakugo from the last chapter? Also there will be no Bakugan from the further seasons until they happen, so no Rubanoid or Helios or any other bakugan until the respected seasons happen
Also another thing, I am including Battle Planet Bakugan in this *weapons aimed at me* LET ME EXPLAIN!
I am changing their designs and some of them will be changed attributes for obvious reasons, in other words, I'm making them better and look less robotic
