Episode 3: Partners and Power
The scene opens to a Bakugan Battle, a Pyrus Stinglash roared out fighting against a Aquos Juggernoid. The Juggernoid roared at the Stinglash, its master was a boy named Rikimaru. He has red spiky hair, brown eyes. Has a blue vest over a light teal blue long sleeve shirt. Wears dark grey pants and a pair of turquoise color gloves. He also wears a chain around his neck. He pulled out his ability card preparing to end the battle. "Hey Juggernoid! Depth Tornado!" he yelled as he threw his card to Juggernoid.
A flash of blue light formed around Juggernoid, water appeared around him as he tucked into his shell. He began to spin around as the waters began to spread forming a whirlpool. Stinglash was caught in the currents and was being dragged to the center of the whirlpool, it struggled to get out, but Stinglash never was a very great swimmer.
Before it could react, Juggernoid slammed its entire body on top of Stinglash, finishing the battle. They both returned to the real world as time began to resume where they left off. Rikimaru caught his Juggernoid as he returned to him. "Ha! Better luck next time kid." he said with a grin on his face.
"Next time?! I don't think so, you got my Bakugan man!" his opponent said as he scowled at Rikimaru.
"Yeah, tough break... you win some you lose some right?" he asked him.
Present Mic: Rikimaru, quirk: Water Clone! He is able to manipulate water into a physical copy of himself, however it does not copy the density as it's just water.
Rikimaru looked at his Bakupod. "As for me, I always win." he boasted as he looked to the points he earned.
"Your Halo Sector power level increased to 150 G's" said Rikimaru's Bakupod only for him to feel disappointed.
"What?! Only 150?! No way! That's such a ripoff!" he yelled in disbelief. The students were watching him being dramatic about it.
"Man, what a sore winner." said the boy Riki defeated.
"And such a drama queen." Another boy Riki also defeated said.
"What more do you want Riki, you beat all three of us." said the third and final boy. Rikimaru only scoffed and walked away from them. Unaware he was being watched by a certain masked brawler.
'This town is a waste of my time, there's nobody around here that can beat me.' he thought to himself as he walked through the park. "You think if you were gonna play against someone as good as me, then at least bring a decent Bakugan to the battle." he said as he stopped in the middle of a clearing in the park.
"It's so lame. What does a guy have to do to find some real competition?" he asked as he looked out. "Hey! Anybody out there wanna do battle with me?!" and just like that... his question was answered.
The wind slightly blew around him. "Are you looking for a real challenge?" asked a familiar voice.
Rikimaru's eyes widened. "Huh...? What...?" he heard something flying towards him. He quickly turned to it and caught it. He looked at it and saw it was a Bakugan. "I've seen this one on the web." he looked at who threw it and saw it was Masquerade.
"You want it? It's got all the power you ever need." said Masquerade as he stood in a tree.
Rikimaru looked at the Bakugan he received. "Hmmm... really...?" he looked at it curiously.
"I wouldn't lie to you, try it out and see for yourself. I know you're going to like it..." said Masquerade as wind began to blow. Rikimaru looked to where he was only to find he disappeared.
"Hey! Where'd you go?! Come back! Who are you?!" he asked but got no answer. He looked at the Bakugan he was given, wondering if it was even right to accept it. But it didn't matter to him either way as a faint blue glow of an outline similar to Masquerade's mask appeared over his face.
Meanwhile at Dagobah beach, Drago watched his partner move more trash from the beach onto the massive pile he made during his long training.
Drago had gotten the basics of the situation from Izuku the other night, the greenette needed to train his body into better shape so that One For All could work, otherwise if he used it while he was weaker, he would die instantly with limbs shooting off like rockets.
Drago did not want to see that image in his head, but he understood with the training part, Izuku needed to be ready to accept such a powerful gift.
Izuku wiped his brow as he went to sit next to Drago as the boy pulled out a water bottle and drank it.
"Your training is impressive," Drago commented.
"Thanks Drago, I need to be in top shape to get into U.A and inherit All Might's Quirk" Izuku said as they then see All Might walking to them in his skinny form wearing his trench coat.
"I see you started training early" All Might said.
"O-Oh! Yeah, S-sure am, I need to be in tip top shape" Izuku said.
Unitarian appeared on All Might's shoulder, "Anyways, according to the net, you faced off against the new number 1 brawler, Masquerade" after saying that, Izuku stiffened up.
"Oh yes, I heard that too, heard it was a draw, it was the same thing that happened with Unitian wasn't it?" All Might asked but saw that Izuku wasn't replying, he looked...scared.
"Young Midoriya?" All Might asked as he put a hand on the greenettes shoulder, "Are you alright?"
Izuku replied, "No, I'm not All Might...Masquerade is a monster" All Might didn't like what he just heard, Drago then spoke up.
"Masquerade is evil, he is sending Bakugan to the Doom Dimension" Unitian looked shocked and terrified at this news.
"HE'S WHAT?!" he yelled louder than anyone thought he could, he looked at Drago with absolute terror.
"You mean to tell me that this human is sending many innocent Bakugan to that hell of a dimension?!"
"Yes, It's absolutely terrible" Drago responded as Izuku looked to the ground in sadness.
"He sent my Serpenoid and Saurus there, I was a fool to challenge him" Izuku said, All Might turned to Unitian who nodded to him.
"Then we don't have much time" All Might said as he turned to Drago.
"Young Drago, we will show you all the abilities Unitian can use with that power he has, then we need you to inherit it as soon as possible" All Might said.
"Huh? Why so soon?" Izuku asked as he looked to his mentor.
"The faster Drago learns the powers, the better, if Masquerade plans on attacking you again, Drago needs the power to beat him and his bakugan so that no more Bakugan get sent to the Doom Dimension" Unitian said with urgency.
Izuku looked to Drago who nodded in agreement, "Alright then, let's do it." Izuku said as he and All Might both pulled out the cards and opened the field.
As they appeared in the field, All Might changed into his muscle form as he and Izuku set down their gate cards, "Gate Card Set!".
"Now Young Midoriya, this won't be a battle, this is only training for Unitian and Drago, we will be assisting them when needed." All Might said to Izuku.
"Right," Izuku said as he and All Might threw their bakugan into the field, "Bakugan Brawl!".
Drago and Unitian rose into their true forms on a gate card, "Alright Drago, watch and learn, these abilities are standard and will possibly change when the power is passed down to you" Unitian said.
"Understood Unitian," Drago said as Unitian took a stance.
"First we shall use the Pyrus ability, All Might, if you please" Unitian said as All Might pulled out an ability card.
"Ability Activate! Pyrus Fire Blast!".
Unitian that summoned a ball of fire between his hands as it glowed with Pyrus energy.
"PYRUS STRIKE!" Unitian then blasted the fire ball towards Drago, the dragonoid acted quickly and dodged it, it flew past him as it suddenly exploded in midair.
"Woah" Izuku said as he saw the amount of power from that attack.
"Now Drago, hit me with a strong attack, trust me I can handle it" Unitian said, Dragon looked to Izuku who understood.
"Ability card activate!" Izuku said as he activated the card.
"Boosted Dragon!" Drago yelled as he shot a fire ball from his mouth at Unitian.
"Ability activate! Ventus Power Twister!" All Might yelled as Unitians armor changed from Pyrus to Ventus.
Suddenly, Unitian produced a powerful twister from his mouth as it caught Drago's attack in midair, the air smothered the fire out as nothing remained, Unitarian stopped blowing air as the twister disappeared.
"That Drago, was my defensive Ventus ability, you've seen Ventus Air Bullet, my offense attack, so it's only fair you see my defensive abilities too." Unitian said as Drago and Izuku were surprised, but they put on determined faces.
"Then let's see what else you got Unitian!" Drago said as Izuku prepared another ability card.
"Ha! I like your spirit Drago! Let us continue!" Unitian yelled as All Might prepared his cards.
About half an hour later, the training session was complete and Drago and Unitian had reverted back to balls.
"You...are one powerful...Dragonoid Drago" Unitian said as he panted.
"Your impressive Bakugan...as well Unitian" Drago said, panting as well.
"Man Drago, your way stronger than I realized" Izuku said as he held Drago.
"Now that your training here is complete, are you ready to accept the power Young Drago?" All Might asked as he held his partner in his hand.
"After all that...I believe I'm more than ready" Drago said as he caught his breath.
Unitian had stopped panting and stared at Drago, "Good, then let us begin with the transference" Unitian said as he and Drago floated up, suddenly appearing in their true form as they floated in the air.
"Take in mind Drago, this power will be incredible and hard to control at first, but in time, you will make it your own" Unitian said.
"I understand, I'm ready" Drago said as Unitian began doing many movements, attribute energy was building up around the draconic knight as colorful energy flowed around his being, suddenly he yelled, "I PASS THIS POWER DOWN TO THIS SUCCESSOR, LET THIS POWER BE REMEMBERED FOREVER IN HISTORY!" Suddenly, he shot the energy as a beam as it collided with Drago's chest.
Drago grunted at this as the power coursed through his being, Unitian stopped firing as he and Drago collapsed, turning back to ball form as their partners caught them.
The field suddenly disappeared as they are back on Dagobah beach.
"Drago, are you ok?" Izuku asked.
"Unitian old friend, will you be alright?" All Might asked.
Unitian and Drago grunted before the former answered, "Yes, we'll be fine, the transfer was a success" Unitian said before grunting, "I can still feel the power within me, but only by a small fraction, I can only guess that these remnants will stay with me for some time before finally disappearing" Unitian said before turning to Drago.
"So Drago, how do you feel?" he asked, Drago was silent before speaking, "I feel stronger, but not by so much".
Unitian chuckled, "That's because you haven't used the power in battle, trust me, it will feel incredible".
All Might then turned to his successor, "Well, now that Drago's inheritance is finished, lets get back to your training Young Midoriya!"
"R-right!" Izuku said as he put Drago down as he went back to the trash and started training again.
Later on, Izuku is back at his apartment having dinner with his mom, Drago was on the dinner table in ball form.
"So Izuku, how was your training today?" Inko asked.
"Oh, it's going great mom, I think I'll be ready as soon as the entrance exam starts" Izuku said as he ate his dinner.
Inko then looked to where Drago was on the table and asked, "And what about your Bakugan brawling? Has that been coming along?" she asked, she knew that her son was a good Bakugan brawler, so she wanted to support him on everything bakugan.
"Well, things are fine, I've gotten better at the rankings I guess," Izuku said, Drago and Inko noticed his tone wasn't that excited or cheerful but sombre and sad.
"Sweetie? Are you alright?" she asked Izuku, Drago rolled out and uncurled from his ball form and looked to Inko.
"His most recent battle wasn't on good terms" he said to her.
Izuku had already introduced Drago to his mom not long after Izuku's match with All Might, she was very surprised to say the least but after getting to know Drago, Inko was glad to hear that Izuku had a new friend by his side, literally.
"It was with the new number 1" Izuku said softly but sadly, Inko wasn't that familiar with the ranking system in the game but she knew who the number 1 was, so hearing 'new number 1' was concerning.
"New Number 1? What about Shun?" she asked softly, not wanting to upset her son, Shun was a bit of a touchy subject.
"I'm not sure, it's like he just...stopped," Izuku said before deciding to change the subject, "Uh anyways, what about you mom? How's your fitness training coming along?" he asked, Inko knew he was changing the subject but she didn't want to indulge in why.
"Well it's going great sweetie, I feel slimmer already if I say so myself" Inko said.
"That's good to hear" Izuku said, he was happy for his mom getting back in shape, it was kind of his fault she gained weight over the years as she had started stress eating after they learned he was quirkless.
After dinner, Izuku had taken Drago to his room as they began talking with his friends, however Jiro and Bakugo weren't online.
"So how goes your training Izuku?" Denki asked.
"It's going great, I also got back into Bakugan training, it will help me out in the future" he said, training with Drago did count at Bakugan training, especially with that new power.
"Thats great to hear Izuku" Alice said, although if one were to focus enough, you would see that there was some packing boxes in Alice's background, some on her bed and some stacking on the floor.
"Yeah thanks Alice, so how is training with you guys?" Izuku asked.
"I'm doing great, nobodies gonna touch this acid queen!" Mina said with a smile, her acid quirk was always difficult, but Mina always seemed to handle it.
"My electrical training is getting better, thanks for those notes by the way Midoriya" Denki said as he thanked Izuku.
"No problem Denki, I want everyone to be able to be their best when becoming heroes" Izuku said with a smile, he then heard Mina suqeel in glee.
"Oh Midori you are just so pure! When we get to U.A I am going to hug you so hard you'll never escape!" Mina said, Izuku always saw Mina as a wild card in the group and would sometimes do what she said.
One instance was that if Denki short circuited himself on video chat she would do a Meme dance, of course it happened and she did, it was at that time they learned that Mina was a dancing goddess, she could literally dance like nobody else.
Back to the present, Izuku imagined a situation of Mina hugging him so hard he exploded, he chuckled at this before his friends brought him out of his thoughts.
"My creation training has gone very well, I've also been learning more ways of creating the objects I need" Momo said as she showed her arm sleeveless, a glow coming from it as suddenly she pulled out a working pen from the glow.
"My gravity training has paid off a little, I'm not getting that nauseous after using it" Uraraka said as she touched a nearby cup, suddenly it started floating upwards like it was weightless.
"You guys are so going to get into U.A, your quirks are so amazing" Izuku said, earning another squeal from Mina as she talked about him being an innocent cinnamon roll.
Suddenly another video screen came on as Jiro appeared, though she had a face of excitement on her, which wasn't a common thing.
"Guys! Guys! You are not going to believe this!" she said in an excited tone.
"Woah Jiro being excited, this is serious! What is it girl?" Mina asked when suddenly, Jiro brought a Ventus Bakugan in front of her camera, it opened up to reveal a Griffin-like Bakugan.
"I got myself a talking bakugan! Say hi Komanor!" she said, to which they heard Komanor speak.
"Hello Humans, nice meeting you" it said in a calm and friendly voice, everyone was shocked at this.
"Woah! Now Midori isn't the only one!" Mina said excitedly
"Where did ya find him Jiro?" Uraraka asked.
"Well, I was just practicing on my guitar when he appeared outta nowhere" Jiro said as she remembered meeting her new partner

Kyoka was sitting by her window as she strummed on her electric guitar, she was practicing a few chords before playing instrumental to one of her favourite songs when she heard a voice.
"What kind of music is that?" she looked around for the voice before setting sights on a bakugan near her window.
"Uh...i-its rock music" she said as the bakugan ball opened up to reveal a griffin like bakugan.
"Well it sounds amazing! My name is Komanor, I have heard some good tunes in my time but that sounds awesome" he said as he folded up and rolled towards her, he fell off the window and onto the carpeted floor Kyoka had as he rolled to her, she picked him up as he unfolded again.
"W-well thanks dude, I'm Kyoka Jiro" She said, blushing a little at the praise Komanor gave her.
"After that me and Komanor decided we will be partners," Kyoka said as she finished explaining.
"Well its nice to meet you Komanor, I'm Izuku Midoriya, and this is my partner, Drago" Izuku said as he introduced himself and Drago.
"Greetings Komanor, I've heard a lot about you back in Vestroia" Drago said.
"Really? Didn't know news from Ventus space traveled to Pyrus space" Komanor said with a surprised tone.
"Oh come on! First Midoriya and now Jiro! I wish I had a talking Bakugan" Denki said as he was frustrated, "Then I could go take down that chump Masquerade!".
"Well I'm sure you'll find a partner soon Denki" Izuku said before changing the subject, "But about Masquerade, any news about him?" Izuku asked.
"Nothing Midori, ever since his battle with you he hasn't shown up since" Mina said as Izuku was worried, Masquerade had to be planning something.
"Still though, it's surprising that Izuku lost to that creep, you're the best brawler of us here" Denki said before Mina spoke, "Hey Midori didn't lose! It was a tie, a draw, he told us the battle field disappeared and nobody won, remember?!" Ashido said, feeling insulted that her friend would call Izuku's battle a loss.
"Actually you are correct, it was a draw" Yayorozou said before she began to explain, "from what I observed, the cards used during the battle had no effect on the final total of the Halo Sector points of either player".
"If I may speculate, perhaps Drago was going to use an attack that was more powerful than the cards you had Izuku. Then the overwhelming power emanating from Drago made the battlefield unstable, and caused it to vanish. So with the Battlefield gone, the battle could most definitely be called a draw." Yayorozou explained to Izuku and everyone else.
Alice then gasped a little from all the information. "It self-destructed?" she asked her.
"Uh, did I miss something here?" Mina asked, confused.
"But it's impossible to use an attack that's stronger than your ability card!" Denki protested.
"Actually human, some Bakugan can have power like that, however it is most peculiar as its a powerful skill that shouldn't be used so often as it can cause damage to the user, which results in Bakugan not using this ability" Komanor said as he looked at Drago.
"Man, this just keeps getting stranger and stranger" Izuku said before he noticed the time, "Sorry guys, got to log off, I got to train early tomorrow"
"Understood, see you later Midorya" Yayorozou said as everyone else bid him goodnight, Izuku turned off his computer and was getting ready for bed.
"I'm glad Kyoka has a talking Bakugan, now she can have a friend to talk to at home when me and the others are offline." Izuku said.
"So am I, I have heard that Komanor is an enthusiast on music, from what you told me she has a big interest in music, so he should fit in with her" Drago said as he folded into a ball on Izuku's desk.
"Yep" Izuku said as he got in bed, "Well, goodnight Drago, lets get strong together" Izuku said as he went to sleep, Drago also drifted off to sleep.
However as the night went on, Drago awoke to Izuku mumbling in his sleep as he folded out from his ball form.
"Y-You won't beat me Masquerade... no...! You won't take my Bakugan...! I won't let you...!" he said while in his sleep. Drago looked on and was worried about the greenette, "Get him Drago... Bakugan Brawl...!" he yelled out.
"The battle with Masquerade must have put a toll on him" Drago said as he looked out the window, showing the stars in the night.
"He has only just learned about the Doom Dimension and what happens to Bakugan if sent there" Drago said to himself before looking at Izuku who looked scared in his sleep.
"Not only will he help me in stopping Naga, I will help him be a hero and save all lives, humans and Bakugan" Drago said before trying to go back to sleep himself.
It's the next day and Izuku and Drago are back on Dagobah beach as Izuku trains more and more, Drago notices that the beach looks almost done, but Izuku was still going, even on parts All Might didn't ask to do.
After that Izuku and Drago won a battle against Shuji who was in possession of Haos Bakugan, Izuku still tried to offer friendship to Shuji, but again he just ran off.
Izuku then headed back to his home as he had a small meal before talking with his friends online.
"Sounds like your training seems about done Izuku" Uraraka said from the screen as Izuku told his friends of his day, Bakugo was still not on but Denki was the one missing today.
"Not entirely, I still got some of it needed to be done, I still need to train more on my brawling skills if I want to face Masquerade again" Izuku said
Alice smiled proudly for him. "Good for you Izuku."
"Yeah Midori, its going to be awesome to hang out with ya at U.A instead of online" Mina said.
"Yeah, plus I can't wait to battle you with Komanor, him and I are pretty good in the brawling game together" Jiro said as Komanor showed himself on her camera.
"Yep, we just battled some humans in a brawl and it was fantastic!" Komanor said excitedly.
Suddenly Denki appeared as he looked excited about something "Hey! Listen everybody! I got big news! Big news!" he yelled anxiously.
"What's so important Denki?" Momo asked him.
"Tell us! What is it Denki?!" Mina asked excitedly.
Denki held out something that surprised everyone, it was a new Haos Bakugan he found. "TA-DA! Look! I found myself a talking Bakugan! My wish came true!" he smiled happily about it.
Izuku and his friends were surprised by this "Ah yes, that appears to be a-" before Momo could finish again...
"Tigrerra!" Denki cheered out
"Its attribute is light, its a Haos Tigrerra." Alice explained.
"Oh man, I'm so excited! This is the best thing that's ever happened to me since getting my quirk!" stated Denki feeling very excited.
Jiro observed the bakugan from her screen "It looks very similar to a White Tiger." she said as she looked at her.
"Lets calm down for a sec, let's hear what it sounds like." Izuku said as leaned close to the camera a bit. "Hey there, I'm Izuku Midoriya..." he introduced himself.
Tigrerra looked at them for a moment but decided to reply. "Greetings everyone. It is a pleasure to meet you all." she greeted them.
Denki nuzzled Tigrerra against his cheek with a warm smile on his face. "She's all mine!" he cheered out to everyone.
Izuku couldn't help but smile proudly for him. "Now you know how Jiro and I feel, it looks like our little team of Bakugan Battle Brawlers is getting stronger every day." he said as he smiled at his friends.
"You know it dude!" Denki yelled happily.
"Yeah, and we all know what the first order of business is gonna be, don't we? It's time someone took Masquerade and his tacky costume to the cleaners! And that someone is me when I get my talking Bakugan!" Mina said as she got pumped up.
"Or me, depending on who gets to him first." said Denki as he held Tigrerra.
Drago watched them sensing a lot of confidence within them. "These humans do not seem to lack confidence, I only hope they can be trusted when the time comes. The fate of Vestroia, could be in their hands." he thought to himself.
Later on Izuku is seen jogging towards a bridge in his brawler outfit.
Drago was riding in Izuku's jacket pocket as Izuku jogged, "Your training seems almost complete Izuku, soon enough you will be gaining the power All Might promised you".
"Yeah, and soon, I'll be joining U.A High with my friends, I can't wait!" Izuku said as he stepped onto the bridge, suddenly a gust of wind blew in as Drago sensed something.
"Somethings not right" Drago said which caused Izuku to stop in his tracks, then they saw Rikimaru standing in the middle of the bridge with a glare towards Izuku.
"You there! Are you Izuku Midoriya?" he asked with a dark tone in his voice.
"U-um, yeah?" Izuku answered, quite nervously, "Who are you?"
"My name is Rikimaru! And I've come to do battle with you, Izuku!" he said as he declared to battle him.
Izuku knew he couldn't just walk away, in case this might be like with Shuji, "No problem, well... I'm ready, you say the word and we'll start." Izuku said to him.
Drago observed the boy feeling something strange about him. "Please Izuku, be careful... there's something I don't like about this." he advised him.
Rikimaru chuckled a bit. "You won't talk so tough once you see the cards I have." he held out his cards but also revealed something they did not expect.
"The Doom Card!" Drago exclaimed in shock and surprise.
Izuku felt the same way. "Oh no..." he soon shot a glare at him. "Hey! Where does a guy like you get a Doom Card from?!" he demanded to know.
Rikimaru only smirked with a dark chuckle. "I have my connections..." he then put on a shooter that was similar to Masquerades.
Izuku saw the shooter and was surprised, "Aw ya gotta be kidding' me! You're working for Masquerade?!" he asked him
"That's none of your business... believe me, you got bigger things to worry about." he stated as he held out his Bakugan Card, a blue light mask appeared over his face. "Get ready, I'm opening the field!" he declared as his card began to glow. Izuku glared at him and held out his card as it started to glow. The attribute circled beneath them as they entered a new pocket dimension. Izuku and Rikimaru were placed in their spots on the battlefield.
Rikimaru held out the Doom Card. "Doom Card set!" he yelled out as he threw it to the battlefield like it disappeared into the ground. A wave of Negative Energy shot out from it, Izuku felt the same shiver down his back from that energy
"I'm never gonna get used to that..." he said to himself as Drago floated next to him.
Rikimaru held out a Gate Card. "Gate Card, open now!" he yelled out as he threw it to the Battlefield. Letting it expand across the field.
Izuku held out a Gate Card of his own. "Lets go with this... this Character Card will double your power level!" he tossed it out to the battlefield letting it expand to the same size as Rikimaru's card.
"Hey, I like your style!" he said as he threw out another Gate Card. This surprised Izuku, 'What are you planning?' he thought.
"Bakugan BRAWL!" Rikimaru threw out an Aquos Bakugan. It landed on his first card and opened up into a robotic warrior type Bakugan. "Bakugan Stand!" The Bakugan glowed brightly and took the form of Robotallion.
"Robotallion BATTLE!" Robotallion knocked its fists together standing ready for battle.
Drago knew its attribute all too well. "Izuku, his attribute is Water!" he informed him.
"Your right, I have to be careful about this" Izuku said to him
"Lets see what his first move is." he advised him, "Right," Izuku said.
Meanwhile, Rikumaru let out a small chuckle as he tossed out another Gate Card onto the field. This got Izuku worried. "Bakugan Brawl!" he yelled as he tossed out his Aquos Juggernoid onto his last card, as it landed, it emerged in its true form.
This got Izuku confused as to why he set two of his Bakugan on different cards. "What's he up to? Why did he put his Bakugan on the field so early in the battle?" he asked curiously.
"He has two Aquos Bakugan lined up, now choose your next card carefully." Drago advised him to be careful with his next choice.
Izuku pulled out his next Gate Card. "Here, try this on for size!" He tossed the Gate Card to the field and grabbed his first Bakugan. "Bakugan Brawl!" he threw out a Pyrus Falconeer as it landed on the same card as Juggernoid.
Izuku then started to analyze the situation, "I need to get this right, he is an Aquos brawler, he has already sent out two Bakugan, he is planning something" Izuku said to himself as he tried to come up with an answer, then he gasped, "Wait, I've seen this strategy before!" he said which caught Drago's attention.
"You have?" Drago said as he saw that this might be a trap.
"Yeah, I seen it before in one of Kacchan's battle replays...and if he has a Aquos Siege with him, then I'll be in trouble for sure" Izuku said before checking his Bakupod to see Rikimaru's Juggernoid was the weakest on the field, he then pulled out an ability card, "I need to take out his weakest Bakugan first before he can send another out!"
Rikimaru saw Izuku pull out the card and got worried, 'No way, this guy can't have figured out the strategy already' he thought to himself as he then saw Izuku throw the ability card to Falconeer, "Ability Activate! Frame Fire!" the card got absorbed into Falconeer as it was surrounded in a fiery aura.
"Falconeer power level increased to 400 G's, Juggernoid remains at 320 G's" Izuku's bakupod said.
"No no no! Not yet!" Rikimaru said as he saw Falconeer take down Juggernoid with a divebomb attack, causing Juggernoid to turn back to ball form, "No!" Rikimaru said, upset that his opponent destroyed his strategy so soon.
Falconeer turned back to ball form and Izuku caught it, the greenette glared at Rikimaru, "Sorry but your not sending my bakugan to the Doom Dimension" Izuku yelled.
"Good work Izuku, but I must wonder, what was his plan with an Aquos Siege?" Drago asked, wondering if Izuku had had the same thought as him.
"It's simple" Izuku said, making sure Rikimaru heard him, "Aquos brawlers don't send out 2 Aquos Bakugan on the field so soon in the brawl unless they have an Aquos Siege, once that final Bakugan is played, they can activate the Aquos Triple Chain reaction attack, creating a Tsunami that takes all the bakugan off the field, including their allies, leaving Siege the only one left in the field" Izuku said as Rikimaru looked terrified, Izuku figured out his entire plan before he could finish it.
"You wanted to take out your own Bakugan and send them to the Doom Dimension just so you can beat me? Have you gone crazy?!" Izuku yelled at his opponent who just scoffed.
"The only thing that matters is the win! It doesn't matter HOW you win!" Rikimaru said, "but since you destroyed my plan, I'll just have to beat you without the Tsunami attack" Rikimaru said confidently.
Izuku however scowled and looked his opponent in the eye, "You can try" Izuku said before throwing his next Bakugan into the field, "Bakugan Brawl!" he threw it onto his own card which was next to Rikimaru's first card.
"Bakugan stand!" emerging on the field was a Bakugan that resembled a Chimera, it has a lion's fore-body and a snake as a tail. Its hind legs are like a goat's and are scaled. It has a pair of huge bat-like wings
Present Mic: Say hello to Griffon, Attribute: Pyrus! it possesses a deafening roar to stun its opponents. Its hands have sharp claws that are never dull. It has powerful wings that give it the ability to fly high in the air. It has a serpent tail that possesses a venomous bite.
Griffon roared as it rose into the field, its opponent was Robotallion as it prepared for battle
"Aquos Robotallion at 320 G's, Pyrus Griffon at 320 G's"
.Rikimaru growled in annoyance, "Even without the Tsunami, I'll still win you green haired brat!" he pulled out an ability card, "Ability activate! Aqua Armor!" Robotallion's metal plates glowed blue as water circled around it.
"Robotallion power increase to 370 G's"
"Be careful Izuku" Drago said to his partner, "Don't worry Drago, I'm on it" Izuku said as he pulled out an ability card
"Ability activate! Wing Burst!" Suddenly Griffons wings had fire surround them as it charged at Robatallion.
Izuku then pulled out another ability card, "Now to win this fight, Ability card activate! Fire Tornado!" suddenly Griffon gets surrounded in a fire tornado as it collides with Robotallion, defeating it as it goes into ball form and lands next to Rikimaru, Griffon then returns to Izuku.
"No way!" Rikimaru said, shocked at what happened but growls in annoyance, "That's it, you're going down!" he said as he loaded his shooter with his final bakugan.
"Go! Aquos Siege!" Aquos Siege appears on his card as he appeared from a giant pillar of water.
Izuku looked to his Bakupod to check its information. "Aquos Siege identified, power level 350 G's, a powerful opponent." siad Izuku's Bakupod.
"His Siege is strong, but I know we can take him, right Drago?" Izuku said to his partner.
"Right" Drago said as he folded into ball form, Izuku grabbed him as he threw him onto Siege's card, "Bakugan Brawl!"
"Drago Stand!" Drago appeared onto the field as he glared at Siege.
"You have much negative energy around you, most likely the work of Masquerade! I'll put an end to you now!" Drago said as he roared at Siege who readied his lance.
"Alright Drago, lets see if you can use that new power now" Izuku said as he pulled out an ability card, however its design was different, it was white and had red lightning shaped stripes on it with the symbol for Subterra on it.
"Ability Activate! Subterra Stone Barrage!" Drago roars as he suddenly changes colors from Pyrus to Subterra colors, his red being changed to brown, his gold horn also changing to silver instead.
Rikimaru just looked in shock, "What?! No way!"
"Detecting Attribute change, Subterra Drago power increase to 440 G's, Aquos Siege power level decrease by 50 G's" Izuku's bakupod announced.
Drago then roars as suddenly, large rocks and stones burst from the ground and they are shaped like stalagmites, they are then aimed at Siege as they then fly at the Aquos bakugan with great speed.
Siege started to spin his lance to act as a shield against the barrage of sharp rocks, but it wasn't enough as some rocks kept getting through it's makeshift shield, damaging it.
Rikimaru growled in annoyance, 'This kid is stronger than I thought, that mask guy said he was weak, pathetic, he never mentioned his Dragonoid being able to change attributes like this!'.
Drago suddenly grunted, "What's...happening?!" Drago said as suddenly, his brown Subterra colors shifted, it changed instead to white and his silver horn turned back to golden, even more golden than his Pyrus form.
"Attribute change detected, Haos Dragonoid now in battle"
"What?!" Izuku said, shocked at what happened, he didn't use an ability card for Haos, 'Is the power changing spontaneously?' he thought to himself as Drago looked at his new Haos form.
Rikimaru however had enough, "I'm not about to lose to you!" Suddenly a blue aura appeared around Rikimaru as the aura traveled and got larger to Siege.
Izuku and Drago started in shock at this, no idea on what was happening.
"Quirk Infusion!" Rikimaru announced as suddenly Siege started creating water from its armor as the water formed next to it, suddenly creating an exact duplicate of itself.
"What?!" Izuku and Drago said in unison, shocked at what just happened.
"Say hello to the Quirk Infusion ability, Siege Clone! By fusing my quirk Water Clone into my Siege, my Bakugan can now use the same abilities as my quirk!" Rikimaru explained as the 2 Sieges suddenly charged at Drago, Izuku however was quick on the draw to bring out another special ability card.
"Ability Activate! Haos Light Shield!" Drago had his wings positioned in front of him as then a barrier of light appeared around him, stopping the attack from the Sieges.
'I never heard of Quirk Infusion before, is this a new thing with Bakugan like Drago's new power?' Izuku thought to himself as he tried on thinking of a plan.
Drago however was dealing with the two Sieges as he flew up to avoid their strikes, "My new power is incredible, but unpredictable, I hope this random attribute change won't be a constant thing in the future" he said to himself as he dodged a lance thrust from one of the Sieges.
Rikimaru smirked at his new advantage, "You won't be able to dodge them forever, my Water Clone Quirk is super useful on taking down opponents".
That's when Izuku figured out a plan, just from hearing the name of the quirk, he got a plan, "Drago, your going to have to do another change, its for my plan, do you think you can take it?" Izuku asked his partner.
"I'll try my best" Drago said as he dodged again, Izuku then pulled out a card.
"Ability activate! Aquos Hydro Burst!" Drago then went under a change again, turning into Aquos colours as his scales turned blue, suddenly he started to attract nearby water droplets from the field, left over water from the previous battles.
Suddenly, one of the Siege's started to lose its form as it became water, showing the clone as the water went towards Drago.
The water swirled around Drago before it started to fly towards Siege.
"Aquos Drago power increase to 490 G's"
The water collided into Siege who couldn't stop the water in time, it was flown back before turning back into ball form and falling to Rikimaru's feet.
Drago changed back to Pyrus and returned to Izuku, the field then disappeared as the 2 boys were back on the bridge.
Izuku looked at Rikimaru who was now on his knees, "I can't believe you would work for Masquerade, you shouldn't even consider it with what he's been doing to Bakugan" Izuku said
Rikimaru winced from hearing his tone. "I... I just wanted to be the best Bakugan Player... that masked guy said all I had to do was beat you, and I could keep Aquos Siege. But... its all over now... gone..." he said as he looked down in shame of what he did.
Izuku looked at him starting to feel pity for him. He walked to him and gently touched his shoulder. "You can still be a great Bakugan Player..." He said to him only to get a surprised expression from him.
"Really...? But... after everything I did-" before he could finish...
"You may be hard headed...But despite all you've done, you can redeem yourself in becoming a great Bakugan Player, and a good friend,.just leave the Doom Card stuff out of it in the future" Izuku said giving a kind smile
Rikimaru looked at him before he smiled, the blue outline of Masquerades mask shatters as he is free from that control. "Thanks a lot Midorya... I better get going, I have a lot of stuff to do." he said as he walked away. Izuku smiled at the results he found.
However he quickly scowled as he took in the new information he got, he was furious about what Masquerade did. "So Masquerade did it again, he took advantage of him, and made Riki fight his battle for him. I don't know what he's trying to prove..."
Drago appeared on his shoulder, "Whatever it is, we will stop him together Izuku" Drago said, getting Izuku to cheer up.
"Yeah, your right Drago, come on, let's head home" Izuku said as he and Drago started to head home, but below the bridge, in the river, a light shone in it.
Fish swam near the sparkling light, which then revealed to be a blue Bakugan ball, it opened up to reveal a Knight type Bakugan, only it had some different features, such as its arms looking like twisted tentacles.
"Excuse me, can you guide me to the shore?" it asked before the fish swam away without a care, the Bakugan sighed, "Figures" it said before trying to make its way to the shore, when suddenly a hand reaches into the river and picks up the Bakugan, the Bakugan then looked to its savior, who was wearing a blue mask over his face.
"Hey there"
It was a couple days later, in the early morning, All Might had just parked his truck, in his skinny form, in the empty parking lot before he suddenly heard screaming, he looked and was surprised to see Izuku, standing on a large pile of trash, shirtless and screaming his lungs out, All Might quickly ran to the beach to see it completely, Drago was sitting on one of the barrels near the trash pile.
"Hey hey, holy crap kid" All Might said as he looked at the beach, not a spec of trash in sight, he could see the rising sun past the ocean.
"You even cleaned up outside the area I told you to...seriously, there's not one speck of trash left on this beach!" All Might said in disbelief as Unitian appeared on his shoulder.
"Damn, you're right, it's completely cleared" Unitarian said in awe.
"You even have a week to spare, you exceeded my expectations!" All Might said, still in disbelief before he finally accepted it, his Successor pushed himself further than he expected, it was incredible.
"Holy...Stinking...SUPER CRAP!" All Might yelled out the last part as he went into his muscle form.
Drago then noticed Izuku was wobbling and was going to fall off the pile, "Izuku!" Drago called out.
All Might quickly ran and caught Izuku who fell, he looked to Izuku and smiled, "Excellent work!" All Might congratulated him.
Izuku weakly smiled at All Might, "I finished everything...All Might...I did it" Izuku said, "Do you think...I'm ready now?" he asked.
"Yeah you did good kid, I gotta say I'm impressed" All Might said as he put down Izuku and let the boy stand up, "I knew you had it in you, but this is beyond" All Might said, he was so proud of his successor, he then pulled out his phone and showed a picture of Izuku before he started training, the picture had Izuku crying on the ground, looking very weak and small.
"Look at this" All Might said as Izuku looked at the picture confused, "It's you, crying, ten months ago" All Might pointed out as Drago had made his way to the beach from the trash pile, moving was much easier thanks to Unitians advice and Izuku helping him at home, Drago managed to jump up onto Izuku's shoulder and saw the picture.
"That was you?" Drago asked, amazed at his partner and his journey from a weak little boy to the stronger and more fit human he was partnered with.
All Might kept his massive smile as he looked to Izuku's body, it was very improved, "Look how far you've come, such improvement!" he said.
"There's still a long road ahead of you before you can inherit my full powerset" All Might explained, "But it's starting to look like you can do it!" All Might said excitedly.
Izuku looked to his right hand, still exhausted, "All Might...Do I deserve this?" he asked, "Are you sure?"
All Might still kept his smile but was puzzled by Izuku's question.
"You put so much time and energy into helping me...how did I end up so lucky?" Izuku asked as tears fell from his eyes.
All Might laughed, 'Are you really worried about that after all these months?' he thought to himself.
All Might put a hand on Izuku's back, "It was your hard work that did this, not mine" he said to the greenette.
"Now, for your reward, Izuku Midoriya!" All Might said, Izuku wiped the tears from his eyes, "Yes Sir!" Izuku said.
All Might plucked a strand of hair from his head, "Someone told me this once, there's a difference between being lucky and deserving, ones a accident, the other, a reward, never get the two confused" All Might said as Izuku and Drago looked to All Might, taking this information in.
"Take that to heart, young man" All Might said, "This gift, you earned it with your own valiant efforts".
Izuku put on a determined face, now ready to accept All Might's power, he was ready.
All Might presented the hair in front of Izuku before saying, "Eat this".
…
"...Huh?" Izuku let out, purely confused.
"What?" Drago asked, also confused.
"Seriously Toshi?" Unitian asked his partner, clearly disturbed by what All Might just said.
"To inherit my power you got to swallow some of my DNA, that's how it works" All Might explained.
Drago then understood why Unitian was disturbed and shared it as he couldn't believe it.
"This isn't exactly how I imagined it," Izuku said, clearly disturbed and freaked out.
"It's the only way for you to obtain it!" All Might said, "Come one, eat it, I've got to take you to a suitable area to train with it and I don't want to be late, Eat! Eat!"
Izuku screamed as he quickly took the hair and, with much disgust, he swallowed it.
Little did they know, on a nearby rooftop, Masquerade had watched the entire scene and smirked.
"So...little Deku now has a quirk" he said as he started walking away, "I think I'll keep this little information to myself, it just might make things more fun and interesting, especially with that little surprise Drago showed a few days ago" Masquerade said as he walks past a electrical pole, suddenly disappearing like he was never there.
"And so, finally with a quirk, I began my short training with One For All, not knowing the danger that was rising, faster than we anticipated." Izuku narrated.
Izuku: Coming up next time on Bakugan Hero Brawlers, Me and Drago try to get a hang on our new powers and try to find a way to deal with the drawbacks, then we find out that our online friends have been closer to us than we thought, Denki and Mina show up and we end up getting caught in a battle against another Masquerade lackey named Tatsuya, so now I finally get to see my friend brawl in action, hopefully they win
Denki and Mina: BAKUGAN BRAWL!
