Episode 4: Denki Rules
It was just after Izuku had swallowed All Might's hair, he still felt disgusted after eating it, All Might said he was going to take him somewhere to train with One For All, he didn't know where, there weren't many places you could train with such a powerful quirk.
Izuku was currently riding in All Mights small truck, it was then when he looked up ahead he couldn't believe where he was heading.
"I...I'm going to train with One For All at...at...U.A?!" Izuku asked in shock, he didn't expect coming to U.A so early.
"Of course Young Midoriya, U.A is the only place you can train with it, if we tried someplace like a construction area, it would be very noticeable, that and U.A has dealt with the most destructive quirks in training, so training you here is the best choice" All Might explained as he parked his truck outside the entrance.
They then got out of the truck and went to the entrance, All Might pulled out a sort of VIP card and pressed it to a scanner near the entrance wall, Izuku stared in confusion before All Might answered, "The school has a very tight security system, need to show ID to not set it off" he explained.
They then walked through and thankfully the security system didn't go off, They walk through some of the school halls before seeing two people walking to them
The first person was a small elderly woman wearing a doctor's lab coat, with a white dress and red and yellow vest with a belt with a pink R in the middle. She had pink boots and had her grey hair in a bun with a syringe holding it together and a pink helmet with a visor. She also had a cane that looked like a giant syringe.
Next to the small elderly woman was what could be best described as a dog-bear-mouse-like creature wearing a suit, it had a scar over its right eye.
"It's good to see you here early Toshinori" the white creature said in a small friendly voice as it looked to Izuku, "This must be the one you had been talking about, correct?" it asked.
"Yes sir, this is Young Midoriya" All Might said as Izuku practically had stars for eyes as he looked at the 2 individuals before him.
"No way! Your Recovery Girl, the Youthful Hero, you can heal nearly every kind of injury, and your Nezu, the principle of U.A the first animal with a quirk that makes you smarter than any human!" Izuku said as he nerded out, causing Recovery girl and All Might to sweatdrop while Nezu wasn't even fazed, he just smiled like it was the usual thing.
"Sorry for that, he's a bit...excitable" All Might said apologising to them.
"Ah, a fanboy got it" Recovery Girl said as Izuku fell down comically before getting up, Drago then making his way onto his partners shoulder, Nezu noticed Drago right away.
"So Midoriya, are you going to introduce us to your friend?" Nezu asked as Izuku noticed Drago on his shoulder, "Oh yeah, this is my Bakugan partner, Drago".
"Greetings," Drago said, introducing himself.
"It is very nice to meet you Dragonoid, I hope to see you and your partner in my school if you pass the exam" Nezu said, "Now then, let us make our way to the appropriate area for Young Midoriya to use his quirk, shall we?" Nezu said as he and Recovery Girl started walking away, which prompted All Might and Izuku to follow them.
Later on, they are seen in a giant city-like area, many of the buildings are empty.
"Woah, what is this place?" Izuku asked.
"Oh it's just one of our battle facilities" Nezu casually said, which surprised Izuku and Drago.
"ONE of your battle facilities?! How many do you have?" Drago asked, surprised that this place had more than one giant city.
"Oh that's not important right now" Nezu said.
'I'M PRETTY SURE IT IS' Izuku and Drago thought in unison, not knowing they thought the same thing.
Nezu then gestured to one of the buildings, "Now then Midoriya, let us test your quirks power, with it being so powerful we should test it on something that should put your quirk to the test"
Izuku was nervous but willing to go through it, "So, what am I supposed to do?" He asked.
Nezu just smiles, "I want you to destroy this building".
"...what?" Izuku and Drago asked
It was a few hours later and Izuku was wearing an arm cast around his right arm, after testing his newly acquired quirk, Izuku's whole arm was broken and bruised, his arm seemed like it would never heal in time for the exam, however thanks to Recovery Girl, she used her healing quirk to heal his arm, however he still needed the cast so it can still go through the healing process.
It was quite a shock for Inko Midoriya when she heard her son had broken his entire arm, but she cried tears of joy when she heard he finally developed a quirk, she cried so much she nearly flooded the apartment.
After calming down his mother, Izuku was now resting in his room, he noticed the time and it was only 1 in the afternoon, so he decided to call his online friends.
Drago rolled on Izuku's desk and opened up, "Izuku, are you sure you should talk to your friends with your broken arm?" he asked.
"Don't worry Drago, I'll just explain it to them, the cover story works right?" Izuku asked.
"I still don't understand why you must hide your new quirks identity," Drago said.
"It's for the better, Drago, trust me" Izuku said before he entered the video call, showing everyone except Katsuki in it.
"Hey guys" Izuku said, everyone had their attention on him and immediately panicked when seeing his broken arm.
"Oh my god Midori what happened?!" Mina asked, very worried.
"Did you get attacked by a villain during your training?!" Uraraka asked, scared for her friend.
"Are you ok Izuku?!" Alice asked.
"Dude?! Did Masquerade come back?!" Denki asked, scared if the masked brawler had come back for another round.
"That seems to be a serious injury, Midoriya" Tigrerra said, observing her master's friend's arm from her end.
"Are you going to be ok man?!" Kyoka asked.
"I do have to say it looks bad Midoriya, did you get proper treatment?" Komanor asked.
Izuku was definitely shocked by their reactions but tried to calm them down.
"G-Guys, calm down! I'm fine, i-it's just from my training today, which I have some good news by the way" Izuku said, everyone calmed down before they asked about his good news.
"So what's the good news Izuku?" Momo asked.
"Well, you know how I was going to apply for the entrance exam with no quirk?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah, what about it man? Just shows your gonna break people's expectations" Denki said.
"Well...I'm no longer quirkless" Izuku said, it was a few seconds before everyone in the call shouted, "WHAT?!".
"H-How?!" Momo asked.
"W-well, turns out my training had finally showed that I actually had a quirk, it just never showed itself when I was weaker, now that I have a more stronger body, my quirk just, activated" Izuku explained, he didn't like lying to his friends, but he needed to keep All Might's Quirk a secret for now, until he feels the need to share the secret with his friends.
"So, your quirk was powerful enough to break your arm?!" Kyoka asked.
"Y-yeah, turns out it's a Strength Amplification quirk, which I'm calling Superpower, but it gives a huge backlash for now, I use too much power in a body part and, boom, instantly broken and damaged" Izuku explained.
"It's true, I was there when it happened, his trainer had to take him to the nearest hospital with great healing abilities to make sure he could be healed," Drago said.
"Oh man oh man oh man!" Mina said excitedly, "This is amazing Midori! Now you finally have a quirk! We should celebrate!".
"C-Celebrate?" Izuku asked nervously.
"Yeah! Duh! Nobody on the planet gets a quirk this late in their lives! Especially not one that sounds as awesome as yours Midori!" Mina said before gasping, "Idea, you should come to my family's restaurant!" Mina said excitedly.
"Your Family's restaurant? Are you sure?" Izuku asked.
"Of course! Denki can join too, he doesn't live that far from me, here, I'll send ya the address" Mina said before everyone could hear her typing away on her keyboard.
"I'm so glad you got your Quirk Izuku, I bet you will be a great hero with it" Alice said, causing Izuku to blush.
"Th-thanks Alice" Izuku said before he heard a ding from his computer.
"Sent!~" Mina said, "Now come on down! I'll get you some special stuff, our restaurant is the bomb, see you there Midori" Mina said before disappearing from the call.
"Can't wait to officially meet ya Midoriya, see ya later" Denki said before logging off too.
"Well, looks like I'm going out today," Izuku said with a chuckle.
"Don't worry Izuku, we'll be here when you get back, then you can tell us all about your celebration" Momo said.
"O-ok Momo, See you guys later" Izuku said before logging off his computer, he then quickly washed up and changed into his Brawler outfit before heading out, telling his mom he was going to meet his friends.
As Izuku looked at the address, he looked surprised, "Huh, that's surprising".
"What's wrong?" Drago asked from Izuku's jacket pocket.
"I know this address, I've been there before, yet I never saw Mina there" Izuku said before he headed to the address.
Meanwhile at a park, a group of kids were showing off their Bakugan. Then out of nowhere, a kid came out and knocked the bucket that held all the Bakugan out of one of the kids hands. "What the...?! Hey! What'd you do that for?!" he asked furiously
The kid who knocked the Bakugan out of his hand was Tatsuya, he has grayish blue hair, brown eyes, green vest over a black sleeveless shirt, yellow and green pants, blue and black boots and brown leather fingerless gloves, he's a Pyrus Brawler and is a bully to the local kids, but most of the time, instead of brawling them, he just harasses them. Also he talks a lot more than he fights. "Well maybe I felt like it ya little freaks! Besides, you're too young to be messing with Bakugan." he said to them with a smug grin on his face.
The three kids glared at him for being such a jerk to them. "Who do you think you are?!" asked one of them in a serious tone.
"Yeah, why don't you just beat it?!" yelled another only to get a different response from Tatsuya.
He shot an intense glare towards them, sending chills down their spines. "No, you twerps should beat it!" he yelled at them, seeing them run away. "Ha... yeah that's right, run to mommy."
"Hey kid..." called out a familiar voice.
"Huh? Wha...?" he looked to a tree and saw Masquerade sitting on a branch. "What's up with the costume you freak?" he asked him with much arrogance.
"My name is... Masquerade." he introduced himself only to get a different response.
"That's nice, who cares...?" asked Tatsuya, holding his neutral expression.
Masquerade smirked at him, sensing how arrogant he was. "It appears you think you're quite the Bakugan Brawler... so are you willing to test your metal Tatsuya...?" he asked him as he held a confident smirk across his face.
Tatsuya also formed a smirk believing he could beat him. "Oh yeah, bring it!" he accepted his challenge. Masquerade leaped out of the tree and landed on the ground. Both players pulled out their Bakugan Cards.
"Bakugan Field Open!" they called out as the Attribute Circle appeared beneath them, bringing them into a Pocket Dimension Battlefield.
Masquerade smirked as he pulled out the Doom Card. "I'll start... Doom Card set." he dropped the card to the field, letting it absorb the card sending a wave of Negative energy through the battlefield.
They soon pulled out a Gate Card. "Gate Card set!" the yelled out as they tossed them to the field, letting them grow on the field.
Tatsuya pulled out a Bakugan, getting ready for battle. "Guess it's my turn! Bakugan Brawl!" he threw the Bakugan onto the field, it opened up revealing itself as a Pyrus Mantris. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Mantris appeared in its true form, hissing at Masquerade. "You don't stand a chance against my Mantris!" He boasted about it.
(smug little punk, I really wanna show that kid a thing or two.)
Masquerade smirked as his mask scanned Mantris's data. "Nicely played... his Mantris has Fire Attributes, but he's not nearly strong enough." he thought to himself. He then loaded a Bakugan into his shooter. "I think it's time to Exterminate your Mantris. Bakugan Brawl!" he shot his Bakugan to the field, revealing it was a Darkus Siege. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Darkus Siege emerged in his true form, unlike the Aquos Siege, its Lance was different, more demonic in a way.
Tatsuya only smirked at it knowing he was hardly intimidated, "Ohhh so scared! Like your overgrown tin can has a chance! How shall I counter?" he wondered, but it didn't take him long to decide.
He grabbed a new Gate Card and threw it onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl!" he tossed a new Bakugan onto the field, revealing it as a Pyrus Stinglash, "Bakugan Stand!" Stinglash emerged in its true form, hissing at Masquerades Bakugan.
"Okay... my Gate Card gives me another 200 G's, so that brings my Stinglash up to 560 G's. That should do it." he thought to himself. "Your move!" he said to Masquerade.
Masquerade held onto a confident smirk, knowing Tatsuya's strategy was going to fail. "Gate Card set!" he tossed a new Gate Card onto the field.
"Bakugan Brawl!" he shot a brand new Bakugan onto the field. "Bakugan Stand!" it opened up revealing a Centipede type Bakugan, its name was Darkus Centipoid.
Present Mic: Check it out! Centipoid! Attribute: Darkus! It is based on the insect the Centipede. It has two pincers that are larger than its head, which can penetrate hard armor. It has two tails that are razor sharp and antennas that sense predators miles away. It travels underground for sneak attacks and has an unbreakable, exoskeleton shell and has fifteen pairs of legs.
It emerged in its true form, hissing at its opponents with malice intent.
Tatsuya was not impressed. "Ha! That's what you call a counter move?! You're going down in the first round you creep!" he yelled at Masquerade, who is still smirking at him for his arrogance.
"Not after I throw down this card." said Masquerade as he held it up. "Ability Card Activate!" he tossed the card into the sky, allowing it to form storm clouds.
Tatsuya saw it and was surprised. "I'm in trouble!" he panicked a bit.
"You talk big... but can you... back it up punk?" asked Masquerade. Lightning soon struck Centipoid and streams of electricity flowed from its body. Snaring both Mantris, and Stinglash, it began pulling them onto the same Gate Card it was standing on.
Tatsuya noticed it and his confidence began to rise again. "Ha! My Mantris and Stinglash are gonna eat your Bakugan for Breakfast!" he said to him with a smirk, unaware it was really a trap.
"You don't know who you're dealing with, do you? Gate Card Open!" he called out as the Gate Card began to glow.
Darkness was beginning to fill the Battlefield, Tatsuya began to panic seeing it. In the dark void of despair, Centipoids eyes glowed brightly, and it charged at Mantris, biting down on it, throwing it towards a portal to the Doom Dimension, it soon went after Stinglash, who went on the defensive, but that wasn't going to stop Centipoid.
Energy shot out from between its two large pincers, shooting the ground allowing it to burrow beneath the surface, Stinglash soon found itself trapped in the sand, trying desperately to escape, but Centipoid emerged beneath it, grabbing Stinglash with its pincers and throwing it through the portal to the Doom Dimension.
Tatsuya was shocked beyond belief. "Whoa... he took both of mine out..." he said with a shocked expression.
Masquerade watched as the portal closed, he then looked towards Tatsuya. "Unfortunate for your Mantris and Stinglash, but there is no escape from the darkest power of this card. And now they're heading for the Doom Dimension." he explained to Tatsuya, seeing him fall to his knees.
"I'm... so wasted..." he admitted defeat.
Masquerade smirked and started walking towards him. "Hate to break it to you, but your Bakugan are never ever coming back." he said to him as he stepped up to him.
"You're kidding right...?" Tatsuya asked him.
"When it comes to Bakugan, I'm deadly serious!" he said to him as the Battle quickly ended in a two win battle.
Meanwhile back on Earth, Izuku had made it to the address given to him, he stared at what was in front of him.
It was a restaurant, the building was colored pink and white he saw a sign in front of the restaurant that said "Ruby Ribbon Sweets".
"I remember this place, my mom would take me here sometimes after school when I was little," Izuku said, smiling at the memory.
Drago looked at the sign and read it, ""Ruby Ribbon Sweets", sounds interesting," Drago said.
"Well, let's go inside" Izuku said as he entered the restaurant.
When he entered, he saw tables connected to the walls and near the windows to outside the building, the interior look very nice, it reminded him of American diners, tiled floors, a jukebox near the end of the dining hall and a countertop with seets to have your meals right near the kitchen.
Izuku looked around before being grabbed from behind and turned around, only to see Mina Ashido herself with an excited smile, "Midori!" she squeals as she hugs him, "I can't believe you're actually here!" she said.
"M-M-Mina?!" Izuku said as she shook him around in her hug before she put him down, Izuku then got a look at Mina's outfit, her Brawler outfit.
Her outfit consisted of blue short shorts and a light grey shirt with the aquos symbol on the chest, she was also wearing a blue open sleeveless vest with 4 pockets on it, blue and black knee high socks and blue and white low heel ankle boots.
"Sorry Midori, it's just, we've been chatting online for so long and I didn't think you would get here so fast, is that part of your quirk now, you have super speed?! Tell me Midori!" Mina said very fast and in one breath, then they hear someone clear their throat.
They turned around to see Denki had walked in with a grin on his face, "Sup Midoriya, we finally meet" Denki said.
"Hey Kaminari, it's great to see you guys, not on a computer that is" Izuku said which got them to chuckle.
"Izuku Midoriya, it's been a while since you visited~".
Izuku turned to the new voice and his eyes were now stars, standing next to the counter was a woman with pink skin, long white hair with pink highlights, black sclera eyes with pink iris, a long reptilian like tail and wore gold bangles on her arms, she wore a black top that showed her midriff and white baggy pants with a black belt and a gold buckle on it with a symbol for candy on it.
Izuku saw this woman and started to nerd out, "Oh my gosh! Y-your the Candy Power Hero! Sweet Pink!" he said excitedly
The woman giggled, "Indeed I am Midoriya".
Present Mic: Niuichi Ashido, Hero Name: Sweet Pink! Quirk: Sugar Crazy, when she ingests high amounts of sugar she secrets a chemical that enhances her and her allies attacking power. However there is a nasty side effect, she goes a bit nutty when she does this too much and will start craving more sweets and want to fight stronger and stronger opponents.
"Oh wow, I can't believe I'm meeting a pro hero that was part of the top 10 pro's!" Izuku said.
"Oh those were the days, I used to be the Number 7 Hero, but I'm kinda glad I stepped down from the top 10, gives me time to work on my restaurant and spend time with my family" Niuichi said.
"Wait" Izuku said before looking at both Niuichi and Mina a couple times before he looked at Mina, "Your mom is a former top 10 pro hero?!" he exclaimed.
Mina stuck her tongue out with a smirk jokingly, "Oops, did I forget to mention that?" she said.
"I'm surprised you forgot about me Midoriya, you used to come here a lot as a child" Niuichi, "And you're still cute~" she muttered to herself.
"W-well, I was dealing with some difficult times back then" Izuku said.
"Hey let's not spoil the mood with bad memories, we're here to celebrate you getting your quirk Midoriya'' Denki said.
"Oh yeah!" Mina said before turning to her mom, "Hey Mom, do we still have those ice-cream sandwich cakes?"
"We sure do, let me get some for you kids" Niuichi said as she went to where Izuku suspected was the kitchen.
"So Mina" Izuku asked as the trio of brawlers sat down by the counter on stools, "How come you didn't tell me your mom is a pro hero?".
"Well, I just didn't wanna make a big deal out of it, plus sometimes back at school some boys would just go gaga over my mom, I mean yeah she's hot but come on, I'm cute, right Midori?" Mina asked, which Izuku just blushed from the sudden question.
"I-I-Imean, y-yes, b-but I just, I mean" he stammered, sure he was used to talking to girls by now, ever since Bakugan came to his world, but that doesn't mean he could be brave enough to call a girl cute.
"Wow Mina, you broke him," Denki said.
"Nah, he's fine, he's just stumped by my awesome cuteness~" Mina teased, making Izuku blush more.
Desperate to change the subject, he looked around the counter and saw pictures of Mina and her mom, some of them dancing, some were baby photos and one was even a 5 or 6 year old Mina playing with a green haired kid that Izuku recognised all too well.
"I-Is that me?" Izuku asked, pointing to the picture.
"Hmm?" Mina looked at the picture and smiled, "Oh yeah I remember that, that was on my birthday, your mom brought you over to join in and we had tons of fun!" Mina said.
Izuku then remembered that day too, it was actually pretty fun, even when he was a quirkless nobody as kids used to say.
(Flashback)
Inko walked into the Ruby Ribbon Sweets Restaurant when it was still new, with little Izuku following her, holding her hand as they went in, there were birthday party decorations everywhere.
Walking up to the Midoriya's' was Niuichi who was wearing a blue and red dress and jeans with brown heeled boots.
"Inko, glad you could come," Niuichi said as the mothers hugged a bit.
"No problem, we couldn't miss Mina's party, thank goodness no school today huh?" Inko said as Izuku looked around for his friend, Inko then looked to him, "Izuku, why don't you go find Mina and say happy birthday to her?" Inko said.
"Ok, "Izuku said as he let go of his mom's hand and walked around the dining hall.
He passed a few kids before seeing his friend, little Mina was wearing a blue shirt and light blue shorts with white sandals.
Mina saw her friend and smiled, "Hey Izu!" she said as she hugged him, little Izuku blushed at this before Mina pulled away, "Come on, let's dance bestie!" Mina said as she pulled Izuku around, they were soon dancing to the music that played.
(Flashback end)
"Yeah, that day was fun" Izuku said as then Niuichi came back with three ice-cream sandwich cakes.
"Here ya go kids, 3 Ice-cream Sandwich cakes, on the house" she said.
"Thanks mom," Mina said.
"Yeah, thanks Mrs. Ashido," Denki said as he took a bite from the ice-cream sandwich cake.
"Anyways, how did it feel when you unlocked your quirk Midoriya?" Denki asked.
"Well, it was strange, yet amazing at the same time" Izuku said, soon Drago hopped out of his pocket and landed on the counter.
"Greetings humans, it's good to see you in person" Drago said.
"Oh yeah, good to see you too Drago" Mina said as Denki brought Tigrerra from his own pocket and placed her on the counter.
"Nice to meet you Drago, it is pleasant to see you outside of Denki's computer screen" Tigrerra said.
"Same to you Tigrerra" Drago said.
As they all talked, suddenly, Izuku's bakupod beeped, Izuku looked at it, "Hey, I got a message," he said, gaining Mina Denki's attention.
When he opened the message, they were all surprised and shocked at what they saw, it was a message from Masquerade.
"Masquerade?!" They all exclaimed.
"Hey there Midoriya, I have a little invitation for you, meet me by the river this afternoon, 3 o clock, see you there" Masquerade's message said before ending.
Izuku looked determined, "It's 2:45 right now, I have 15 minutes to get there" Izuku said before Denki put his hand on Izuku's shoulder, "You can't go Midoriya, your still healing" Denki said as the greenette realized he was right, he wasn't fit to do a bakugan brawl at the moment.
"Let me and Mina take your place" Denki said.
"W-What?! But don't you remember what he did last time, Kaminari?!" Izuku asked his blonde friend.
"Of course I do, and I want some payback!" Denki said.
"Yeah, nobody picks on our friends and gets away with it!" Mina said, pumping her fist in the air.
Izuku thought for a moment, he was in no condition to brawl right now and his friends were willing to help him out, he then smiled, "Ok, you guys can take my place, just try to be careful" he said.
"You got it Midori!" Mina said as she ran around the counter and opened a door to some stairs, where Izuku thought was where her family's home was actually set.
Later on, the brawler trio had made it to the river the message addressed, they were expecting to fight Masquerade, instead, they saw Tatsuya standing there with a smug look on his face.
"So your Izuku Midoriya, gotta say, you're not much to look at," Tatsuya said before looking at Denki and Mina, "and who are these two losers?" he asked rudely.
"We aren't losers, name's Denki Kaminari" Denki said with a determined look.
"And I'm Mina Ashido, you got some nerve trying to work for Masquerade, the guy is a total jerk, which is why we're gonna take you down, to stop him from hurting others" Mina said.
"Hey, my battle is with Midoriya, not some blondie and lame girl," Tatsuya said, ticking off the Haos brawler and Aquos brawler equally.
"Grrr, well you're the one that's lame! You gonna battle or what not-so-big shot?!" Mina said
"Yeah! I'm getting pretty bored here" Denki said.
"Fine, I'll take you both down, then Midoriya is next!" Tatsuya said with a red mask outline appearing around his face, as he pulled out his card, Denki, Izuku and Mina followed with their own.
"FIELD OPEN"
They all then appeared in the field.
"Gate Card Set!" Tatsuya, Denki and Mina said, throwing their gate cards on the ground with Denki's and Mina next to each other.
Tatsuya soon pulled out the Doom Card forming a confident smirk. "Doom Card Set now!" he threw it onto the field as the battlefield absorbed it.
Izuku saw it feeling the force of Negative Energy like before as he felt a shiver go up his spine, he honestly felt disgusted Masquerade was giving kids access to what is essentially Bakugan hell.
"Alright guys, be careful out there" Izuku said to his friends, Drago was floating next to him.
"Don't worry Midoriya, we got this!" Denki said, giving a thumbs up.
"Yeah Midori, we can do this!" Mina said
"Okay Denki, this is your one chance, it's all or nothing! Time to show I ain't losing to Masquerade any longer, even if it is his lackey" he thought to himself as he pulled out a Bakugan.
"Everything rides on you Juggernoid... Bakugan Brawl!" he tossed it to the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Haos Juggernoid emerged in its true form, roaring out at Tatsuya. "So what did you think of my opening move you guys?" he asked both Izuku and Mina.
"Not bad Kaminari" Mina complimented him.
"Yeah, good move" Izuku said as he observed.
"Great, now to put the plan into action!" Denki declared as he stood ready.
Tatsuya meanwhile... was not amused. "Ha... tell me you're joking! Your Bakugan's a turtle? The only thing he can do is crawl!" he blurted out as he started laughing trying to get on their nerves, and surprisingly, it was working.
Mina growled in annoyance, "It ain't over yet brat, Bakugan Brawl!" Mina threw her bakugan onto the field and landed on a card, "Bakugan Stand!" she called out as a Aquos Falconeer emerged in the field, a different card from Juggernoid, roaring at the Masquerade lackey, "Try that on for size!".
However Tatsuya just laughed more, "Ya kidding me, you got a stupid giant turkey as a bakugan, I'm so scared!" He mocked.
Mina however smirked confidently. "I'm just a girl... what do I know about battling anyway?!" she asked, only trying to mock him.
Tatsuya loaded a Bakugan into his shooter with a smirk. "Now it's my turn to play! Bakugan Brawl!" he shot it out into the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as his Pyrus Gargonoid emerged in its true form, shrieking with much malevolence.
Present Mic: Garganoid! Attribute: Pyrus, Garganoids resemble the mythical gargoyles of our world, and lemme tell ya, this things are really creepy looking.
"Gate Card Open!" he called out as the Gate Card began to glow. "Lets do some damage!" he said to Gargonoid as flames surrounded its body.
Izuku checked his Bakupod to see its power level. "Gargonoid Power Level 430 G's" said the Bakupod. Gargonoid shrieked and shot a stream of fire at Juggernoid.
Denki prepared himself for this. "Okay, my turn! Ability Card, Lightning Shield Activate!" he threw the card over Juggernoid, as a shield of light formed above it. "Gargonoid Power Level decrease by 100 G's." said his Bakupod.
Izuku panicked from hearing it. "Juggernoid doesn't have enough power!" he cried out seeing Gargonoid charge at Juggernoid, tackling it into a portal to the Doom Dimension.
Denki was shocked by what happened. "How did he do that?!" he asked them.
"His Bakugan was 10 G's stronger than yours, even the smallest amount of power can make a difference." Izuku explained to Denki.
Denki glared at Tatsuya for what happened. "This is not looking good for me... I've got to stop this losing streak before I lose all my Bakugan." he thought to himself.
Izuku noticed his expression and started to worry. "Hey Denki, are you... okay...?" he asked him
Denki looked at him with a smile. "Yeah, I got this dude."
"Alright, it's my turn to deal with him!" Mina said as she pulled out an ability card, "Ability activate! Dive Mirage!" she announced as suddenly her Falconeer dived into the card it was on like it was water, soon it then emerged onto the card Garganoid was on.
"Battle begins, Garganoid power level 330 G's, Falconeer power level 320 G's" Mina's Bakupod said.
"Time to bring the power, Ability activate! Depth Tornado!" she announced as Falconeer spun around as water appeared around it, making a large whirlpool.
Before Garganoid could be pulled into the whirlpool's grip, Tatsuya grinned as a red aura appeared around him with a red Masquerade mask outline appeared on his face, "Not so fast girl! I still got some tricks up my sleeves!" he said before his red aura traveled to his Garganoid.
Izuku's eyes widened as he and Drago saw this happen before, "He's doing the same thing Rikimaru did!" Izuku said.
"Quirk Infusion…" Drago said, remembering what Rikimaru said before.
"Quirk Infusion?" Denki asked.
"It was something that happened with my last battle, a kid named Rikimaru fused his quirk with his Aquos siege, then the siege was able to make a water clone of itself" Izuku explained
"So, this kid is gonna combine his quirk with his Garganoid?!" Denki exclaimed.
"Quirk Infusion!" Tatsuya said as his garganoid roared before suddenly, the Gargonoid split into two Garganoids.
"It cloned itself" Drago said.
"So another cloning quirk" Izuku said as he analysed the situation.
"Ha! What do you think of my quirk losers?" Tatsuya said before he splits into two of himself, the clones laugh mockingly.
Present Mic: Tatsuya, Quirk: Duplicate! He is able to make a complete clone of himself, however there is a major drawback, if one clone gets injured, all the other clones will feel the same pain at the same time.
"Oh man, this isn't good" Mina said as she check hed her Bakupod
"Duplicate ability activated, Garganoid power level doubled to 660 G's"
The dual Garganoids then charge at Falconeer, one slashes at it, stopping its attack while the other tackles it to the ground.
"No! Falconeer!" Mina said, very worried about her bakugan.
One Garganoid grabs Falconeer and flies into the air, before the Aquos Bakugan could counter attack, the second Garganoid charges at it, the first one letting go and flying away as the second headbutts it, making the Falconeer fly in the air and into an awaiting Doom Dimension portal.
"No! Come back!" Mina shouted as her bakugan got sent to the Doom Dimension.
Tatsuya and his duplicate laughed mockingly as they high fived each other before the garganoids roared, then the second Garganoid went back into the first one, then the Garganoid returned to ball form and Tatsuya caught it, "What's wrong girly? I thought you were going to deal with me! Hahahahaha!"
Mina ground her teeth together in anger, "It's not over yet brat!"
Denki then pulled out his next bakugan, "Yeah, we're taking you down! Bakugan Brawl!" Denki said as he threw it to the field, as it stood on the field, it revealed itself as a Haos Saurus. "Bakugan Stand!" she called out as Saurus emerged in its true form, snarling at Tatsuya and the dual garganoids, "Me and Mina only two bakugan left each... gotta make this work." he thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Tatsuya was only laughing at them with a smug look on his face. "You kill me! You really think you stand a chance?! Or do you wanna pack it in?!" he asked them, getting on their nerves even further.
Denki and Mina were trying to keep themselves under pressure, then Tigrerra floated up to Denki's. "Let me finish this." she said to Denki and Mina.
"Maybe you should listen to Tigrerra Denki, she could be your only chance to defeat this guy" said Izuku, while he wasn't one to hate someone, he really wanted to teach Tatsuya a lesson for that one insult.
Kaminari however shook his head in response. "No... this is our battle you two, I have a great strategy worked out. Just wait." he said to her with much determination.
"Yeah, no offense to you guys, but I trust Kaminari here and wanna see through, we can handle this jerk" Mina said
"As you wish." Tigrerra willingly backed down.
"Are you sure about this you guys?" Izuku asked, feeling worried about the battle.
"Mmhmm... trust me Midoriya, I got this totally under control." Denki assured him.
"But-" before Izuku could intervene.
"It's true I haven't been the best brawler in the past, but I know I can read this guy, you gave me this chance, now let me prove myself." Denki begged him to give him this chance.
Izuku noticed how determined he was to defeat Tatsuya, he knew the electric quirk user was stubborn, but he knew this was his one chance to end his losing streak.
Meanwhile, Tatsuya let out a dark chuckle as he loaded Gargonoid into his shooter once more, "Your little feels fest is making me sick! Bakugan Brawl!" he shot it to the field, letting it stand on the field, "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Gargonoid emerged on the battlefield.
"Ability Card Activate! Fire Judge!" he called out as he tossed the card to Gargonoid, flames swirled around it as its power began to increase. "Gargonoid Power Level increase to 430 G's, Saurus remains stable." said his Bakupod.
Denki pulled out a counter ability card, "I'm down to my last chance to win, Ability Counter Activate!" he called out as sparkling lights shined around Gargonoid, extinguishing the flames around it. "Counter Attack neutralizes Gargonoid power increase." said his Bakupod.
Tatsuya only let out a dark chuckle from seeing it. "Nice try!" He continued to tease them.
"He's right Kaminari, that wasn't much of a move, his Gargonoids got power, and loads of it." Mina said to him as she looked at her Bakupod.
Tigrerra knew he might lose Saurus, so she turned toward him. "Utilize me!" she pleaded to him.
"Come on Kaminari, send in Tigrerra before it's too late." Izuku begged him to send her in.
"No! I can do this!" he said to them with a confident smile, Izuku noticed it and started to figure out what he had planned.
"Okay, let's get this over with! Gargonoid attack!" Tatsuya yelled as Gargonoid charged at Saurus preparing to send him into the Doom Dimension.
Kaminari smirked at him knowing he fell right into his trap, "Just like I thought... Saurus! Gate Card open!" he called out as the card began to glow beneath Saurus.
"Okay, watch and learn guys! With this card, Saurus' power level will increase to the same level as my strongest Bakugan,, Tigrerra!" he explained to Izuku and Mina, surprising them.
"No way!" Tatsuya cried out.
"Saurus Power Level Increase to 340 G's." said his Bakupod.
"Yeah! Come and get it sucka!" Kaminari called out as Gargonoid charged right at Saurus, however Saurus pulled its large fist back, and quickly punched Gargonoid with much force sending it flying back, Gargonoid writhed in agony as it reverted to Ball Form, returning to Tatsuya
Kaminari watched him groan in frustration as she caught Saurus. "I win!" he called out with a smirk.
"Settle down Kaminari..." Izuku advised him. "You just won one round, you didn't win the whole battle." he explained to him as he watched Tatsuya carefully.
"He's right dude, you may have won this round, but you still got two more, and given that Tatsuya lost this round, I have a feeling he's done playing around with us." said Mina as she advised him.
Kaminari pulled out a new Gate Card. "I'm just getting started!" he tossed it onto the field letting it expand onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl!" he threw Saurus back onto the field.
"You only get one chance at being lucky blondie! Bakugan Brawl!" he yelled out as he shot out a Pyrus Griffon onto the field.
Both Bakugan stood on the field, and emerged in their true forms, preparing for battle. "Ability Card Activate! Fire Wall!" Tatsuya called out as a pillar of flames circled around Griffon.
"Too bad you don't know how to fight Fire with Fire! Because my Fire Wall is gonna drop your power level over by 50 G's!" the brat-I mean, Tatsuya warned Kaminari as Griffon snarled at Saurus with much ferocity.
"He's good, that much you can tell!" Izuku panicked as Griffon charged at Saurus.
Kaminari however smirked before pulling his trap, "Pyrus Activate!" he called out as the Gate Card opened, Griffons power level was suddenly switched with Saurus.
"Sensing Power Level change." said Kaminari's Bakupod. Saurus charged at Griffon and clobbered it forcing it back into Ball Form.
"Woah dude! You clobbered his Bakugan! That was awesome!" Mina complimented him.
Tatsuya was shocked at how he was outsmarted. "NO!" he cried out.
"How does it feel to lose twice in a row punk?" Kaminari asked with a smirk across her face. "Huh Tough-Guy? I just pulled the old power switcheroo on you and it worked to perfection." he explained to him.
"That was awesome, how did you figure out that counter move?" Izuku asked him curiously.
"Well it toom some research, but he kinda battles just like Bakugo" Kaminari said, to which Mina laughs a bit while Izuku silently chuckled, if Bakugo heard that he would kill them then and there.
"Now, lets get this going! Gate Card Set!" Kaminari tossed out another card, and grabbed Saurus. "Okay Saurus, it's up to you! Bakugan Brawl!" he tossed him to the field for a third battle. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Saurus emerged in its true form.
"That's it! You're going down!" Tatsuya yelled furiously. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shot out a Pyrus Fear Ripper onto the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Pyrus Fear Ripper emerged in its true form. "Do your worst Fear Ripper! Show no mercy and rip his Saurus apart!" he ordered Fear Ripper, who willingly obeyed and charged at Saurus.
"Not on my watch buddy!" Mina said before throwing her Bakugan into the field and on the same card, "Bakugan Brawl!" her Bakugan emerged on the card, showing to be a Aqous Serpanoid, " Bakugan Stand!".
As Fear Ripper tried to attack, Serpanoid charged and tackled it away, defending Saurus, however Fear Ripper got back up and roared in rage.
"No way! Your not winning this Girl!" Tatsuya said before activating his quirk again, "Quirk Infusion!"
Fear Ripper glowed red before splitting into two Fear Rippers, "Fear Ripper power doubled" Mina's Bakupod said.
"Uh oh, Kaminari?" Mina asked her friend, he smirked before activating the Gate Card.
"Gate Card Open!" Kaminari called out as the Gate Card began to glow brightly, forming a barrier between the Fear Ripper twins, Serpanoid and Saurus, the Fear Rippers tried to slash their way through the barrier with their gigantic claws, but failed to do so.
"What are you doing?! You're not Battling!" yelled Tatsuya.
Kaminari scowled at him. "That's right, we don't have to..." he said as he thought back to seeing his Bakugan who were sent to the Doom Dimension. "I'm tired of losing my Bakugan, this is supposed to be a game!" he turned to Tigrerra and held her in his hands. "Right Tigrerra...?" he asked her.
"You humans are full of surprises." she said to him.
Kaminari smiled at her. "I've been saving the best for last... I figured with your power, we could finish off his Fear Ripper, and walk away with a win." he explained the rest of his plan.
"Your wish is my command." Tigrerra said to her.
"We can't afford to lose this one, it's all or nothing, Saurus and Serpanoid are waiting for you..." Kaminari pointed out as Tigrerra looked at Saurus and Serpanoid, they turned to her, giving her a nod.
Tigrerra saw it surprised and she turned to Kaminari, seeing how well he planned his strategy. "I'm impressed by your patience human, by my calculations... your strategy may yet be successful." she complimented Kaminari.
"Hey, I appreciate the Vote of Confidence." Kaminari said to her with a smile.
"You can rely on my to defeat Fear Ripper." Tigrerra said proudly as she prepared for battle. "Lets get this over with shall we?!" she asked as she curled up into Ball Form.
Kaminari nodded and smirked at her and looked to the Battlefield. "You got it Tigrerra! Bakugan Brawl!" he tossed Tigrerra onto the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Tigrerra stood on the field.
Light shined around her, and she emerged in her true form. She took on the form of a White Tiger, with blades running down her back, and armor around her body. She raised her head and roared out with much ferocity.
Present Mic: Introducing, Tigrerra! Attribute: Haos! Tigrerra's ferocious nature makes her a dangerous foe on the field. She's also fiercely loyal to her battle partner, and she has a strong sense of what's right and wrong. Besides using her razor-sharp claws and teeth, Tigrerra can attack with a large blade inside her body that can slice any substance in the human world.
Izuku was amazed at how she looked, he had never seen a Bakugan like her before. "Whoa... so this is what you really look like, so majestic..." he complimented Tigrerra.
"As much as I love the compliment, but we are still in the battle Midoriya" Tigrerra said to him as she focused on the battle with the twin Fear Rippers.
"Let's Brawl!" Kaminari, Mina and Tatsuya called out as the Barrier between the five Bakugan disappeared.
The first Fear Ripper charged at them, tackling Saurus to the ground, but was unaware Tigrerra was behind him. "YOU'RE MINE!" she snarled and went to strike at Fear Ripper, but it deflected her attack and struck at her. Tigrerra dodged it and slid on the ground landing next to Saurus. "Are you ready you two?!" she asked Saurus and Serpanoid.
"Never more!" Saurus replied to her and got back up with Serpanoid giving a nod.
The second Fear Ripper went to knock Saurus back down, however Serpanoid quickly intervened and wrapped their body around it, rendering any more movement while tightening its hold, the first Fear Ripper then tried what its twin was going to do but Saurus blocked his attacks, and grabbed him by his arms, the first Fear Ripper was surprised by this action as Saurus turned to Tigrerra. "Spring Board! NOW!" he called out to her.
Tigrerra took her chance to strike, she charged towards Saurus and leaped onto his back, and leaped above him and Fear Ripper. Fear Ripper struggled to get away, but Tigrerra roared at him with much ferocity. "Ability Card Activate! Crystal Fang!" Kaminari called out as Tigrerra's claws extended. She snarled at Fear Ripper and struck him down, forcing him to revert to Ball Form.
As the first Fear Riper disappeared, the second one let out a roar of pain before disappearing in a red light, Serpanoid let out a hiss of victory before returning to Mina in ball form.
Tatsuya was shocked by this development. "How did they...?!" he asked as Fear Ripper landed next to his foot. "Fear Ripper Eliminated." said his Bakupod.
Izuku was amazed at what happened, even Drago was impressed by what happened. "That was amazing! I've never seen teamwork like that before." he admitted as Tigrerra and Saurus roared out in victory. They soon returned to the real world.
Izuku, Mina and Kaminari had decided to lie down on the grass and relax after that battle when Tatsuya left, no longer being controlled by Masquerade, they had gotten a chance to relax after everything that happened.
Izuku smiled as he thought about the battle. "Not bad Kaminari... you sure showed him..." he complimented him.
"I appreciate it Midoriya... I tried my best." Kaminari replied to him with a smile.
"Uh, excuse me human, but I too must say how impressed I was, congratulations." Tigrerra said to him.
Kaminari sat up and held Tigrerra in his hands. "You're sweet Tigrerra." She complimented her.
"Your patience and skills surpassed anything I've ever witnessed before." Tigrerra said to him.
"Wow... coming from you, I am totally honored." Kaminari replied with a warm smile. "But you do realize it was both you and Saurus who did the dirty work." he informed her and realized something. "Oh, and I hope you don't mind me saying this... you were kind of cute back there." he said to her only to make Tigrerra blush from the compliment.
"No.." she replied with a light chuckle and a faint blush on her face. "I don't mind..."
Mina noticed it clear as day. "Hey look, she's blushing..." she pointed out as she, Izuku and Izuku started laughing together.
Later on they went back to the restaurant and enjoy some more sweets, provided by Mina's mom.
"Mmm~ I can never stop loving your special American Chocolate Cake Special mom!" Mina said as she ate a cake that had M&M's on top with some chocolate biscuits on the side lodged in the side.
"I know my little cupcake~ I see your friends are enjoying their choices aswell" Niuichi said as she pointed to the boys, who were enjoying some ice cream sundaes.
However their was one sundae left, and this got the two boys into an argument, something rare for Izuku to be involved in.
"Hey quit hogging Midoriya!" Kaminari said.
"I'm hogging?! You had 7 already!" Izuku said.
"Have not!"
"Have too!"
Mina sweatdropped at this, "I forgot Midori can get pretty heated when it comes to food he likes" she said.
Tigrerra and Drago sat on the counter watching the argument unfold. "Just when you think you got them all figured out," Tigrerra said.
"Tigrerra my friend... I don't think we'll ever understand these humans." Drago pointed out as he watched them argue more about who gets the last sundae.
Izuku: Next time on Bakugan Hero Brawlers, its time I take on the entrance Exam, but I still don't have enough control on my quirk yet, I don't know if I can do this, Drago and the others are cheering me on for this, I go to do this, wait, this guy with the engine legs is pretty serious, wait is that...Uraraka?! I've gotta help her!

I'm sorry for this taking so long, but things will be done faster in the future, I hope, just hope when I get my job I can still get my stories done.
For now I wanna make a sort of system, before I work on this stories next chapter, I wanna update My Ninja Academia, then I'll work on this stories next chapter, so please don't spam the reviews with "Please update now" or whatever, its annoying honestly.
Now to explain, if you guys coouldn't tell, I made Mina's mom a certain Dragon Ball character, one so popular on the internet, no one can take their eyes off of her, I'll let you guess in the reviews
