Episode 5: Entrance Exam
It had been a week since Izuku got his new quirk, he was getting to know his friends more as he hung out with Mina and Denki, he got to learn more about their lives and even training together with their bakugan skills as well as seeing their quirks in action.
He liked watching Mina practice with her Acid quirk, it was useful and getting rid of debris and she could even make her acid non harmful to the point it was a simple liquid, she had talked with Izuku about wanting to skate with her acid, to which he suggested if she can make acid from her feet, she could make acid proof shoes and holes on the soles so she can make acid and skate at the same time, to which she found to be an amazing idea and rewarded him with a hug, which made the greenette blush indefinitely.
He watched Kaminari with his Electricity quirk and admired how he was practicing his quirk by fixing an old car he would be allowed to use once he gets a drivers license, after accidentally witnessing an overload and seeing Denki act super dumb and spout nonsense, Izuku did his best to keep an eye on his friend and make sure he didn't hurt himself while shortcircuited.
But now, now Izuku, Mina and Kaminari stood in their respective school uniforms, standing before the very high school they were trying to get into, U.A High School. This is the day of the entrance exam and they were pretty nervous to say the least.
"Man, I am super nervous about this" Kaminari said
"Yeah, me too, what about you Midori?" Mina asked the greenette who was shaking in nervousness
"How can I NOT be nervous? This is one of the most successful hero schools in Japan, its also the same school All Might attended, I'm basically following in his footsteps!" Izuku said in nervous excitement.
His friends laughed as his excitement before suddenly.
"Deku!"
Izuku stopped his excited mumbling as turned around and saw Bakugo, to which Mina and Kaminari turned and saw him too.
"Whoa Bakugo, in the flesh, haven't see you in a while man, how come you weren't in the chat room no more?" Kaminari asked the Explosive blonde.
"Kacchan?" Izuku asked
"Outta my way before I set you on fire" Bakugo said with a scowl.
Drago jumped up onto Izuku's shoulder and saw Bakugo, he still didn't like how he treated his partner, but he could deal with it for now to help Izuku pass this exam, but as the explosive teen walked past them, he felt some type of positive and negative Vestoira energy coming from him.
As Izuku wished his childhood friend good luck on the exam, Mina and Kaminari looked at each other worried.
"Did Bakugo seem angrier than usual?" Kaminari asked
"I'm not sure, it's hard to tell with that guy" Mina said
"Maybe you should all head inside, we don't want to be late" Drago suggested.
"Drago's right, you won't pass the exam just by standing here" Tigrerra said
"R-right, come on guys!" Izuku said
"Right!" Mina and Kaminari went past Izuku as he mentallly prepared himself while Drago went into his pocket but peaked out just in case.
"This is it, all my training pays off here, time to finally make my dream a reality" Izuku thought as he took a step, only to trip on his own feet and start falling to the ground.
"Or I'll just die"
"Izuku!" Drago yelled, getting Mina and Kaminari's attention as they saw their friend about to fall, only for him to suddenly stop in midair, his face inches from the ground.
"Are you ok?"
Izuku, Mina and Kaminari looked at the voice and were surprised at who they saw, it was Uraraka, in her own school uniform.
"Uraraka?!" All three of them exclaimed.
"Hey guys, great to see you here!" Ururaka said as she smiled and helped Izuku up and turned off her quirk.
"Same to you Uraraka, I didn't think we would meet here so soon," Kaminari said.
"I know right? So, are you guys excited to do this thing?" Uraraka asked.
"Sure am girl! We are gonna rock in there!" Mina said as she fist pumped in the air.
"What about you Midoriya? Are you ready?" Uraraka asked the greenette.
"Y-Yep, sure am!" Izuku said, still nervous but ready.
"Alright then guys, let's go!" Kaminari said as they all walked into the building.
Later they were now in a large auditorium where many more kids from other schools sat in the audience. Izuku and his friends tried their best and sat near each other while he somehow ended up sitting right next to Bakugou.
Everyone had their focus on the main stage below, standing on the stage was the Voice Hero, Present Mic.
He's a tall, slender man with long, spiky blonde hair and a small mustache. He wears a pair of headphones with the word "HAGE" written on the headband and a pair of sunglasses. He wears a black jacket with an upturned collar complete with studs. He sports a tan, studded shoulder pads, black pants with a red studded belt, black boots, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is completely covered by a directional speaker.
"What's up, UA candidates? Thanks for tunin' in to me, your school DJ." Present Mic said.
"Wow! It's THE Voice Hero: Present Mic. I listen to his radio show every day of the week!" Izuku said in joy, finding it cool that all the teachers are Pro Heroes in U.A, his friends smile at his excitement, except for Bakugo, who just scowls, trying to focus on the exam.
"C'mom. And lemme hear ya!" The loud man shouted excitedly.
"YEAH!" someone shouted excitedly as everyone else in the room was silent, Izuku and his friends tried to see who it was that just shouted.
"Wow, we got ourselves a high-spirit kid! Now onto the main show, like the practical exam. Are you ready? Yeah!" The man asked.
"YEEAAH!" the mystery person shouted again, and no else did.
This time Izuku saw who it was, it was a boy who seemed foreign, he didn't look japanese, maybe from America?
He couldn't tell much due to how dark it was besides the stage, but he could make out some type of animal-like ears on top of the boy's head, sitting next to the boy was a girl who was struggling not to laugh at the boys enthusiasm, she also seemed foreign, maybe they were friends, Izuku thought.
"WOW! You should all be like that kid, he's got spirit! Anyway, you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting ten-minute mock battles in super-hip urban settings." Present Mic said as the giant screen behind him shows them how this battle will work.
"Gird your loins, my friends. After I drop the mic here, you'll head to your specified battle center, sounds good?" Present Mic said
"I get it, they're splitting us up so we can't work with our friends." Bakugo said quietly.
Izuku looks back at Bakugo and his friends and his card, seeing their one number after another, but they're putting them in random order with the groups that'll be at the battle center.
Then Present Mic started explaining about fighting against robots with different points each with 1,2, or 3 which describes their level of difficulty and earning the most points enough to get in.
"Wait a minute..." Izuku thought, looking at the sheet, he saw that there are four robot-villains on the sheet and yet Present Mic only mentioned three.
"Excuse me, but I have a question." Izuku and another boy raised their hands up at the same time, they looked at each other surprised.
The boy is a tall and muscular young man. He has black hair and wears half-rim glasses over his blue eyes. His eyes are also somewhat rectangular, as is his jaw.
"Oh two students thinking alike." Present Mic commented.
"Oh, I-I'm sorry, you go on ahead and ask." Izuku said to the glasses boy.
"No, no, I think you should ask first." The glasses-boy insisted.
"How about I save you both the trouble and guess that you both noticed something on your sheets?" Present Mic asked.
"Huh, y-yes, it's about the robots you mentioned; that we needed to fight three robots and I-I see four." Izuku said.
"Yes, I too would like to know about this as well. If this is an error that was made by even the most promising school then I simply won't allow it." The glasses-boy said in a serious tone.
"Okay, looks like we got ourselves some sharp eyes in the audience, the Fourth villain type is worth 0 points. That guy's just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way to try and stop you. There's one in every battle center, think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid. It's not that it can't be beaten, but there's… kinda no point in fighting it." Present Mic explained.
"Oh, I see, meaning it's like a super-dangerous villain that would take a Pro or two or maybe even a team to fight it." Izuku said.
"You could say that, I recommend my listeners to ignore it and focus on the ones with the points!" Present Mic advised.
"Thank you very much. Please continue." Izuku and the Glasses-boy bowed saying the exact same thing again.
"Nerds." Katsuki muttered.
Kaminari chuckled at that, earning a nudge from Mina to stay quiet.
"That's all I gotta say, I sign this one off with our school motto. As General Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, "A true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes." You ready to go beyond? Let's hear a Plus Ultra!" Present Mic said.
"PLUS ULTRA!" The mystery boy from before shouted once more while everyone stayed silent, except for the girl beside him who just started giggling.
"I like this kid!" Present Mic said.
"Alright, now for the moment of truth." Izuku thought.
Battle Center B
After the written test, the group of brawlers made it to their respective battle Centers, Izuku and Ochako were in Battle Center B, they were dressed in their respective training outfits.
"Well, this is it. I can't let myself be scared not after coming this far." Izuku said to himself as he pat himself hard and did some stretches, then he spotted Ochaco doing some stretches too.
Thinking maybe he could wish her good luck, but before he could take a step the boy with glasses placed a hand on Izuku's shoulder.
"Excuse, do you have a moment?" He asked.
"Oh, um hi, I just wanted to wish my friend over there good luck." Izuku said nervously.
"I see, even though you should focus on yourself for now and despite the muttering earlier I do see you have good intelligence. Also I believe luck isn't something one should believe in, for it's hard work that gets you anywhere in life." The Glasses-boy stated as he moved his hands around a bit.
"Uh, okay…?" Izuku was weirded out by this guy. "Oh yeah, I'm Izuku Midoriyah by the way."
"Greetings, I'm Tenya Iida."
Drago peaked out of Izuku's jacket pocket and felt some Vestroian energy from Iida. He couldn't exactly tell what it was, but he didn't feel any negative energy from him, which was a good thing.
After they finished their talk, Iida walked off to prepare himself for the exam.
Izuku then realized he still had Drago on him, he thought it might not be a good idea to have Drago on him while he takes the exam, he looked around and saw a table near the Battle Centers door with refreshment drinks, thinking that was the best place for Drago to stay during the exam, Izuku went over to it.
"Sorry Drago, but I think it would be safer for you if you were to wait by here, I don't want you to fall out of my pocket during the exam" Izuku said to his partner.
"I understand Izuku, and remember the training and techniques we worked on together," Drago said.
"Right!" Izuku said before he heard the doors on the Battle Center start to open.
"Okay, let's get this started!" Present Mic shouted standing on top of a tower, getting the students' attention.
"There are no countdowns for starting, villains won't give you the time, so let's get moving!" Present Mic announced and everyone ran inside with Izuku slightly behind.
"(Just remember to stay calm, I have to remember all that training I been through and use what I learned from All Might and Drago.)" Izuku thought as he ran in, remembering something special he and Drago did during the week before the exam.
(Flashback)
Izuku was fully recovered and was training on Dagobah Beach, he was practicing some punches while also being careful as to not use OFA, Drago sat on the wall of the beach nearby and watched his partner train.
"How do you think you will control this new power Izuku? So far it can leave you damaged and crippled if you use too much energy" Drago asked.
"I'm not sure Drago" Izuku said as he stopped his training, "All I know is that if I don't find a way to control it soon, I might not get into U.A with my friends" Izuku then looked to Drago and remember he also had a new power, "Drago, how do you feel when using that power Unitian passed onto you? How do You use it?" he asked his partner.
"Hmm, good question" Drago said, "I suppose it's very powerful, but also feels as if it is natural, at first when we used it against Rikimaru, I couldn't control the sudden shift, but during that first time of using it, I let it flow through my body, I didn't resist, I felt as though I knew it would help me and be no threat to myself" Drago explained.
"Let it flow…" Izuku pondered as he thought on how their powers were similar, if Drago let his power flow through him freely, maybe it could work for OFA, "Drago, I think I have an idea" Izuku said as he started to concentrate.
Suddenly his entire body was covered in red energy veigns, just like the first time he used the power, only this time his entire body glowed brightly with energy before the veins disappeared, his body glowed and there was green lightning bouncing off of his body.
"Izuku?!" Drago was surprised, he didn't know what happened, but he had to guess Izuku made a breakthrough.
"I think I was resisting the power last time, like you said Drago, if I let it flow through me, I can use enough energy and power so that I won't damage myself" Izuku said with a bit of a strained voice, "One For All: Full Cowling!" Izuku announced.
Izuku couldn't see it, but Drago was smiling. He was proud and glad that his partner was able to find a way to solve his issue of power and make something entirely new.
'Izuku Midoriya, you will become the greatest hero this world has ever seen, maybe even my world too' Drago inwardly thought.
(Flashback end)
Izuku looked around for a villain robot as he was also focusing on activating his quirk at the right time.
Then suddenly one pops out from a corner scaring Izuku from the bambush.
"Whoa! They're scarier in person!" Izuku admitted, seeing the robot ready to throw a punch.
"But… this is what I have to do!" Izuku said, aiming his hand at the robot as he charges two fingers with the power of One for All, this was his own move he came up with when thinking of new attacks.
"Delaware Smash" Izuku unleashed an air pressure shockwave that smashes through the robot like a super-fast drill destroying the whole middle body part.
"Haha, yes, I did it! I got my first robot and it's…" Izuku checked the number on the robot, seeing its a 1 pointer.
"1 point, well at least it's a start." Izuku said before running off to and more robot-villains.
Izuku runs through some streets seeing as the other candidates are already gaining more points than him which makes him worry as he hurries on through before he spotted a robot that's worth 3 points.
He fires another Delaware Smash to destroy it, he was glad that no one was near that robot otherwise that attack could've hurt them, and his points go up to 4 before continuing to find more robots.
Meanwhile back at the gate, Drago was on the refreshments table as he heard constant explosions from the Battle Center.
"This test must be very difficult if so much is going on at once, I just hope Izuku will be ok" Drago said to himself.
Suddenly, Drago felt something inside him wrench, as if something grabbed a hold of his insides.
"GAH! W-what the?! W-what's, happening?!" Drago said before suddenly, the red veins that he usually saw on Izuku, appeared on his small ball form, "What in the name of? What's happening?!" Drago questioned as the veins pulsed in power before he felt the entire ground shake.
"What now?!" Drago questioned as he tried to see what was happening at the Battle, he rolled off the table and opened up to see what was happening, only to look on in horror as he saw what could be disastrous to many lifeforms.
[Back with Izuku, a few minutes earlier]
"Ok, thats 7 points now" Izuku said as he just took down a 1 and 2 pointer robots, just then he heard rumbling behind him and saw the 3 pointer robot, it was much bigger than the 1 and 2 versions.
"O-oh boy, thats bigger, but then again, the bigger they are the harder they fall, as Kacchan would say" Izuku said as he started to concentrate his power, however, this time he felt something different.
"H-huh? What the?!" however before he could question the strange feeling, he saw the 3 pointer about to crush him, he dodged and decided to bring out his next phase.
'OFA, Full Cowling!' he thought to himself as he glowed and lighting appeared around him, he then used the speed boost OFA gave him and sped past the robot before preparing a Deleware Smash behind it, however instead of announcing Deleware Smash, he heard something in his head that quickly had him say, and do, something else.
His hand changed from a flicking motion to a fist as his fist somehow got enveloped in red and green flames before he announced his move.
"Pyrus Smash!" Izuku yelled as he launched his punch, making a powerful explosion of red and green fire erupt from his fist and into the robot, destroying it completely, leaving only the bottom half of it remaining with charred metal and flames residing on it.
Izuku was in shock, he never done that before, he just created a new smash on the spot, and used a new power at once, he then remembered what he had just said, 'Pyrus Smash', did that smash he just used, have the power of the Pyrus Attribute infused in it?!
[Meanwhile in an observation room]
In this room were a couple of Pro Heroes that were observing the exam on multiple monitors, showing the different battle centers, including All Might and Nezu, All Might was currently deflated in his skeletal form, it was fine for him to do with these pros, as they knew of his true form, but not his power.
"Looks like this year's candidates have some interesting powers," one of the pros said.
"Many versatile quirks in these kids, I hope we get to see their full potential" another said.
"Sir? Shall we bring them out?" another pro asked Nezu.
"Of course, we are near the end of the exams, lets see if these potential students can handle a ginormous threat" Nezu said as the pro who asked pushed a few buttons, activating a big threat for all 4 Battle Centers.
[Back with Izuku]
Before Izuku could think anymore about his sudden new power, he felt the whole ground shake as he looked for the source of the rumbling, only to freeze in fear at what he saw.
"Isn't this a little extreme!?" Izuku gasped in fear seeing the giant robot as the 0 point robot Present Mic explained earlier. His current points are nine.
Everyone started to run away from the giant robot as Present Mic announced that everyone had less than two minutes remaining which made Izuku panicked more, fearing that All Might's training would all be in vain and that Drago would be disappointed in him.
Then he heard someone cry out in pain, he turned around and gasped at what he saw.
He saw his friend and fellow brawler Ochaco on the ground, with her foot under a large piece of debris, most likely from the building's, fearing that she'd get crushed by the giant 0-point robot.
Soon, Izuku's fear suddenly turns to anger, he wasn't about to let his friend be crushed by a giant robot, he then charges at the robot while everyone else runs in the opposite direction.
"There are no combat rewards for taking on a humongous villain. But there is… Opportunity." All Might narrated as he watched what was happening in the observation room.
As Izuku ran towards the giant 0 point robot, he felt something strange happening to his body, he started to feel something happening to his legs, arms and back, even the top of his head felt strange, like something inside was about to pop out.
And it did, in the form of red dragon wings on his back, dragon like claws for hands, his eyes change to the shape of daggers and 2 small golden horns materialised on top of his head, his legs charged up with power, the red veins appearing once again as he then jumped toward the head of the giant robot at blinding speed, creating large winds behind his path.
"A chance to shine. To show what you're really made of."
Ochaco became surprised that Izuku suddenly grew wings and went straight at the robot with incredible speed.
Izuku growls as he clenches his right fist, powering it up with One for All's powers it ripped the sleeve off and showing that his arm is covered in red dragon scales, the scales similar to Drago's, though he didn't care or notice as he was more focused on the robot. He stopped himself when he reached the head and, without realizing he summoned 6 auraus of energy around his fist, which were red, green, white, black, blue and orange, he then threw his punch with all his might as the energies combined into an emerald green aura.
"SMASH!" Izuku yelled out as he punched the giant robot's head, sending it back several feet away with a large dent in the face of it, almost ripping the head clean off, the body then started exploding on the inside.
Everyone was shocked by Izuku doing such an impossible feat that they thought only All Might could do.
"That's right, show who you are. Embody what it means to be a hero." All Might said in his weak-true form watching from the room with the other teachers. "Nothing is nobler… than self-sacrifice."
The scene changes back to Izuku, still in the air with his wings flapping and his arm is mostly bruised though it still looks okay thanks to the scales on his arm, which must've helped endure the backlash of the power.
"The conditions are the same as when I tried to save Kacchan back then" Izuku thought as he recalled back when he tried to save Bakugo from a sludge villain months ago.
"but now its different, now I have a quirk, but I attacked it with a 100% smash, just like I did when I first tested OFA, I didn't have time to think on how much I was using, was it instinct? Or something else?" Izuku thought to himself until he saw he was flying in the air, "W-WHAT THE?!" just as he realised it, suddenly his new features disappeared in a red and green glow, turning him back to normal and leaving him suspended in the air until he started to fall down to the ground.
Drago, who saw that his partner was falling, panicked, "IZUKU!" Drago yelled as he tried to move forward and help his partner, his friend.
Suddenly his form glowed red before he erupted into a large pillar of flames, the pillar splits as it shows Drago flying out of it in his true form and into the battle center.
"I'M COMING IZUKU!" Drago roared.
"WHOA?! What in the name of?!" Present Mic yelled as he wasn't expecting a bakugan to suddenly appear out of nowhere, let alone with an entrance like that.
In the observation room, the teachers, Nezu and All Might, were very much shocked and surprised by the surprise entrance of Drago.
Drago flew over the Battle Center as many of the examinees saw him and didn't know what to think, Drago saw Izuku ahead of him as before Izuku could even get near the ground, Drago caught him with his head just in time.
"Izuku! Are you alright?!" Drago asked.
"D-Drago? D-DRAGO?! HOW ARE HERE?!" Izuku yelled in complete shock and confusion.
"I-I don't know, all I know is that I saw you fall from such a great height and I wanted to save you, then I flew into the battle center" Drago explained, still confused himself on how this was possible.
"W-well, could you maybe take me down Drago? I still need to finish the test" Izuku asked.
"Right, sorry" Drago said as he flew to the ground, landing on the ground and Izuku climbing off his friends head and onto the ground.
"Thanks Drago" Izuku said to him.
"Your welcome partner" Drago said.
"Midoriya!"
Izuku turned to see Uraraka who had herself stood against a broken robot.
"U-Uraraka, are you ok?!" Izuku asked her as he went over to her, his legs feeling really sore and tired out.
"I-I'm fine, what about you?" she asked him.
"I-I'm fine, thanks to Drago" Izuku said to which Uraraka admires Drago's form.
"Whoa! He looks awesome!" Uraraka said
"Yeah, w-wait, we should get back to the test, I only have 9 points-" before Izuku could finish his sentence, he was cut off by Present Mic.
"TIMES UP"
Izuku froze at this, he didn't realize how fast time went by, with only 9 points, he just knew this would be the end and he would never be getting into U.A.
Drago saw his partner's sad expression and could guess what was wrong.
"You didn't get enough points, didn't you?" Drago asked to which Izuku slowly nodded, Uraraka heard this and couldn't believe it, her friend and fellow brawler didn't get enough points? Even after what had transpired? She couldn't believe it.
"He should get a chance to be in U.A too, hmm...I wonder if I can give some of my points to him?" Uraraka thought to herself.
Every other examinee however was too focused on Izuku and Drago, talking about how the kid they thought would be weak was actually a monster powerhouse and that he had somehow summoned his bakugan into the exam.
One examinee however was focused on something else, Tenya Iida was focused on what Izuku had done, "They're missing the point! Didn't they see? He sacrificed everything, just to save that girl!" Iida thought to himself, "He must have been aware of his remaining time, his own safety, his lack of points...despite all that, he didn't even hesitate at all to save her" Iida thought as he clenched his fists, he saw how even though Midoriya was frightened by the 0 pointer, he didn't run away, he ran straight at it to save the girl.
"If this hadn't been an exam...of course I would have done the same thing" Iida thought before he realised something, "Wait, the exam...the judges, they saw that…!"
"Ok, good work all of you" everyone turned to see Recovery Girl walked in the field, "You are all heroes in my eyes, here everyone, reward yourselves" she said as she handed out gummies to everyone as she made her way to Izuku, observing his injuries.
"Oh dear...you were hurt this badly by your own quirk?" she said, making sure it looked like this was their first time meeting, even though it wasn't.
After Recovery Girl healed most of Izuku's injuries, Drago had managed to turn back to his ball form and Izuku held him, many of the students were still amazed and confused on how the Dragonoid Bakugan even appeared and how Izuku obtained such a Bakugan while some discussed about Recovery Girls appearance, meanwhile Iida was still thinking about the exam and how it would effect Midoriya's score.
"I wonder...what if the exam has other parameters I didn't take into account?" Iida thought as he stared at the green haired boy holding his bakugan, "Its possible"
1 Week Later
"So, still no answer to how Drago appeared like that?" Uraraka asked through video chat as the brawlers, minus Bakugo, were video chatting.
"Yeah, it's so confusing, even with what Drago had explained to me, it doesn't help that I somehow obtained features of his, the wings, the scales, claws, even the horns during the exam, it's just so confusing" Izuku said.
"It does seem like a very strange phenomenon, this is something very new to us," Tigrerra said from Kaminari's screen.
"Indeed, I had never heard of such a thing happening before, perhaps it has to do with us being on Earth," Komanor said from Jirou's screen.
"Perhaps Komanor, but we still need more evidence as to why I appeared in my true form during the exam and why Izuku gained my features," Drago said.
Izuku then checked the time, "Sorry guys, gotta go, I'll talk to you guys again later" Izuku said.
They all said their goodbyes and Izuku logged off, turning his computer off.
"Logging off early today?" Drago asked.
"Well, yeah, I just wanna figure things out ya know Drago?" Izuku said before he left the room, Drago sitting on his desk.
Drago stared at the door Izuku left from and pondered to himself, "All Might hasn't contacted Izuku ever since the entrance exam, I would have expected the number 1 hero to at least congratulate him on using the power he passed on to him" Drago thought to himself.
Half an hour later, Drago was resting in his ball form on the desk while Izuku was busy thinking and lifting his weights, when suddenly they heard Inko yelling something to Izuku.
"Izu-Izu-Izu,I-I-I-Izuku!" Izuku quickly ran out of his room to see his mom scrambling on the floor before showing a white envelope with a very specific mark on it, which Izuku recognized instantly.
"I-Its here! It came" Inko said.
After taking the letter to his room and telling Drago what it was, Izuku stared at the envelope with many thoughts.
"Well? Aren't you going to open it?" Drago asked.
"W-well, I'm kind of afraid of what I'll get, I only had 9 points remember?" Izuku said.
"Even so, you should still open it, facing fears head on is what a hero would do, and I can feel tht for certain, you will be a hero, so open the letter and face that fear Izuku" Drago said.
Izuku stared before nodding and fiercely ripped the envelope apart, only for a small metal disk like object to fall out, he quickly grabbed it and set it on his desk before it activated, showing a hologram, and on that hologram was-
"I AM HERE AS A PROJECTION!" said All Might on the video.
"A-All Might?!" Izuku said, he was shocked at the very least, "B-But, this is from U.A?"
"I know its been a while since I talked with you, but I had been busy with a lot of paperwork, I am sorry" All Might said as he bowed.
He then stood back up, "Actually, the reason I came to this town in the first place was to work as a teacher at U.A" he said, making Izuku very shocked.
"All Might is going to be working at U.A?!" Izuku said, very much surprised at this new information.
Then someone off screen of the video says something to All Might, "Huh? What is it?" he asked, "Sure I'll wrap it up, I just have to show him something first-" he tries to say before being told something else that catches him off guard, "Wait I have to do how many of these things?" he asked, forgetting he was being recorded.
Izuku and Drago sweatdropped at this.
All Might then clears his throat before speaking to the camera again, "Anyways, moving on...even though you passed the written test, you only managed to get 9 points in the practical exam, sorry" he said.
Izuku sighed as if he knew his fate, "I failed…" Izuku said, tears starting to form as his dream was crumbling before him once more.
"Fortunately, there are other factors," Izuku snapped out of his sadness as he heard what All Might said and listened to what else he had to say.
"I'm also an Entertainer as well! Behold, a video for your viewing pleasure!" All Might said as he showed a video, to which it showed Uraraka entering the staff room with Present Mic in it.
"Uraraka?" Izuku thought out loud, wondering why his friend was shown on the screen.
"She came to negotiate directly in person after the exam!" All Might said
"Excuse me, umm...you know that boy with the curly green hair and freckles? He's my friend and I heard he didn't have a lot of points, I was wondering if I can give him some of mine, he deserves it for saving me and stopping that big robot" Urarake said.
Izuku was certainly surprised by this, he soon started to hear some of the insults he got when growing up, telling him he was useless, how Deku couldn't do anything.
"In addition to having a quirk, it was your actions that inspired others, the entrance exam the other day was not only graded in villain points!" All Might said.
"Even if you asked, you can't give him your points little listener" Present Mic said to Uraraka, "but don't worry, there's no need to give any points".
"How can the Hero course reject someone who saves others and does the right thing? Perish the thought! Call that lip service? Fine by me! That is the job that requires ones life to put that lip service into practice! So we have Rescue Points!" All Might said as then he shows a scoreboard with many students scores, including his own, to which he saw his score.
"And they're given by a panel of judges, it's the basic ability we look into U.A. Izuku Midoriya! 69 Points!" All Might said as his score showed 9 villain points and 60 rescue points.
"Ochako Uraraka! 45 points!" All Might yelled.
"You both pass" All Might said as Izuku trembled slightly, as he couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"I-Is this really happening?" Izuku asked, mainly himself.
"I would say it is" Drago said.
"Come Young Midoriya…" All Might said, with his arms outstretched, "This, is your Hero Academia!" All Might said before the hologram disappears.
Izuku starts to let tears of happiness fall as he smiles, "I did it, I did it!".
"Congratulations Izuku, this is only your first step in becoming the greatest hero" Drago said to which Izuku smiled as his partner bakugan.
"Thanks Drago, thanks alot" Izuku said.
"No problem, partner" Drago said.
Now that Izuku has passed, now he must face what happens next in the future, will he handle it? Only time will tell.
Izuku: Next time on Bakugan Hero Brawlers, after we all passed the exam, Momo suggests having a celebration party at her house, to which we go there, but then we find out Uraraka has a new partner bakugan named Gorem and 2 new aquos bakugan appeared, they seem to have taken a liking to Mina and Momo, wait huh? The singing duo Jenny and Jewels? Oh no they under Masquerades control too! Come on guys! Lets stop them and free them from his control! Next time, A Combo Battle! Lets do this Drago! BAKUGAN BRAWL!
