Episode 7: Girls just Wanna have Fun!
Momo: Previously on Bakugan Hero Brawlers, me and my family had just moved in to Musutafu city, more specifically in Midoriya's neighbourhood, into our new home, I invited my friends over and we made some new friends, both Human and Bakugan, the Bakugan part being Preyas and Hydragan, they showed up out of nowhere at my party, they looked kinda cool honestly, then, Super Sing Extravaganza showed up, what we didn't know was that they were sent by Masquerade to battle us and steal our Bakugan, Mina chose Preyas as her partner and she chose right, they fit together already, and with Preyas' ability of changing attribute, it was certainly a surprise, but the battle isn't over yet.
Jenny then prepared a Bakugan in her Bakushooter, "Alright, time to get busy! Bakugan Brawl!" She shot out her Bakugan into the field. "Ready to battle Greenie?" she asked with a wink, making Izuku blush in surprise from her flirting. "Aquos Fear Ripper, Stand!" she called out, as her Aquos Fear Ripper emerged in its true form.
Present Mic: Jenny Cantata, Quirk: Siren! Attribute Alignment, Aquos! Her quirk allows her to sing in perfect melody or let out a super sonic scream that can shatter glass from a mile away, overuse of that ability can leave her with a sore throat, or even losing her voice temporarily, so she doesn't use it during her and Jewls' shows, she can also breathe underwater and is a excellent swimmer thanks to her webbed hands and feet and gills hidden under her clothes, she is one part of the Popular duo of Jenny and Jewls, Super Sing Sound.
Izuku looked to his Bakupod seeing that its power level was at 300. "Okay, her Fear Ripper is sitting at 300 G's, but I have a feeling she's hiding a card and is gonna increase that power." he thought out loud.
Meanwhile Jenny was getting impatient. "Are you gonna battle or what?!" she asked in frustration.
"Y-Yeah, yeah, just give me a second! Bakugan Brawl!" Izuku said as he used his Bakushooter to shoot his Pyrus Falconeer onto the field. "Bakugan Stand!" he called out as Falconeer appeared behind Fear Ripper.
Jenny laughed at it. "Don't tell me that's your best move!" she said to him.
Izuku smirked a bit. "You haven't seen anything yet."
"Hey, its your funeral boy." Jenny said to him.
"I think he's playing you Jen..." Jewls said to her with a smirk across her face.
"Oh please! Like you can do better?!" Jenny shot a glare at her.
"Hey girlfriend, you ready to party?" Jewls asked with an innocent smile, which Izuku saw and blushed.
Jewls then loaded another Bakugan into her shooter. "Bakugan Brawl!" she shot a Subterra Saurus onto the field and winked to Izuku to distract him. "Get out of the way boy! Saurus Stand!" she called out as Saurus emerged on the field roaring out.
Izuku was blushing even more at this, he had never been flirted with before until this moment and he couldn't help but blush, he knew in the back of his mind this must have been some trick they were playing to get him off guard, but he couldn't help himself.
Izuku looked to his Bakupod and studied the new stats, "Battle Status, Saurus a 320 G's, Falconeer at 300 G's." the Bakupod explained to him.
"I hope this works! Gate Card Open!" he called out as a ring of fire circled around Falconeer and Saurus. "Falconeer power increase." said the Bakupod.
"Now you're mine!" Izuku called out, unaware he made a fatal error.
"Ability Card Activate! Time to combined Subterra and Aquos!" Jewls called out as Aquos Fear Ripper's Power was transferred to Subterra Saurus. Saurus roared out as his power increased with the help of Fear Ripper.
"Saurus Power level increase to 420 G's." Izuku panicked from hearing it. "Oh no! I'm in trouble!" he looked and saw Saurus charging right at Falconeer, before he could react... Saurus rammed Falconeer straight into the Doom Dimension. Izuku was devastated... "Its gone!" he cried out.
"Aww, too bad. It must be harder to take when you're beaten by a girl." Jewls antagonised him, receiving an intense glare from him.
"We win! You lose! We win! You lose!" the JJ Dolls cheered out laughing.
"Sorry you lost Midoriya!" Jenny said to him with a wink.
Izuku was upset that it happened. "I can't believe they sent my Bakugan to the Doom Dimension!"
"That is true, but you let your guard down." Drago said to him.
"So that was... the Doom Dimension?" Momo asked in fear.
"I-I can't believe it!" Xander said before he clenched his fists in anger and growled as he glared at the two pop stars.
Momo had quickly shook off her fear as she was figuring out how they pulled off such a move, she soon figured it out. "Now I get it..."
"Hmm? Get what Yaomomo?" Mina looked to her curiously.
"By diagonally combining the Attributes of their Aquos and Subterra Ability Cards, they simply overpowered Izuku." she explained to them as Izuku realised something.
"Then that means they blocked me from combining the powers of my Bakugan, leaving me a sitting duck." he said as he figured out the situation, "I can't believe I didn't think of that, its genius but also terrifying" Izuku said.
"Yeah, but it won't be enough when I'm done with them!" Xander yelled in anger.
"Hey! Simmer down mister!" Preyas said as he was floating in front of Xander, "Or I'm gonna have to show you who's boss around here!" Preyas said.
"There is a solution." Drago mentioned to them. "Preyas and I have the ability to change attributes, me with special ability cards and Preyas on his own."
"Drago's right Midoriya, if Preyas changes into Subterra mode, then he'll be in a diagonal relationship with Aquos. Which is me and Mina!" Momo explained.
"And if he changes to Darkus mode, then he aligns with Pyrus. Which is me and Xander." Izuku added to it.
"Now you got it." Preyas said to them.
"This isn't over, we can still do this." Momo said confidently as she loaded an Aquos Juggernoid into his Bakushooter.
"Bakugan Brawl!" she shot him to the field onto a different card away from Fear Ripper. "Juggernoid Stand!" she called out as Juggernoid emerged on the field. "Ability Card Activate! Water Refrain!" she called out as it activated, sending blue energy waves onto the field. "According to my calculations, no one else will be able to use an ability card, thus blocking them from activating their Attributes diagonally." Momo theorised as she looked at the others.
"Nice work Yaomomo!" Mina cheered.
"Oh yeah?! Watch! Gate Card Set!" Jenny tossed in a new Gate Card. "Bakugan Brawl!" she shot an Aquos Gargonoid onto the field. "Gargonoid Stand!" she called out as Aquos Gargonoid appeared on the field.
"WE ROCK!" the two pop stars cheered out.
Drago observed the field and he began to realize something. "Izuku! There are two Aquos Bakugan on the field put against each other." he explained to them.
"Then that means..." Izuku's eyes widened as he realized what it meant. "A tsunami!"
"Their combined powers could create a Tsunami Wave." Izuku said as he looked to the battlefield.
"And it could be much worse if they engage an Aquos Siege!" Drago said.
Izuku looked at the battlefield. "Here's the deal guys, our only hope is to defeat them, and the quicker the better."
"No Midoriya..." Momo objected. "We must secure our position and make a stand against them."
"Momo, are you sure? A Tsunami is unstoppable unless we take them out quickly, are you sure we should stay put?" Izuku asked her.
"Trust me, I believe my calculations are correct." Momo said to him with a reassuring smile.
Izuku looked at her feeling uncertain, but he had to trust in his friend's instincts. "Yeah, okay... I think I know what you're getting at. So we better get started before we lose another Bakugan." he pulled out another Gate Card. "Gate Card Set!" he tossed it to the field. "Bakugan Brawl!" he shot Serpenoid onto the field. "Serpenoid Stand!" he called out as Serpenoid emerged on the field, hissing at its opponents, thankfully Izuku had more than one Serpanoid ever since his first battle with Masquerade..
"Gate Card Set!" Jewls tossed it onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl!" she shot Saurus back onto the field. "Saurus Stand!" she called out as Saurus emerged onto the field.
"So... seeing that it's your plan, what's your next move." Xander asked Momo.
"I believe it's very simple. As you can see, we have your Pyrus, my Aquos, and if we add the light Attribute Haos onto the battlefield, it will complete our line of defense." Momo explained to him and the others.
Izuku rubbed his chin trying to think it through. "Fire, Water, Light..." then it finally hit him, "The Triangle of Hexagonal Magic Circle, Momo you're a genius!" he complimented her, which caused Momo to blush at this.
Xander also thought about it, "Wow, that is actually a pretty good plan! it'll boost our power up for sure."
"Something like that, we just need Preyas, he's our Haos source." Momo pointed out, only to get a different reaction from Preyas and even Hydragan.
"ME?! You're kidding! Are you saying you want me to go in there and risk being sent into the Doom Dimension?! No not me! No way!" he declined to go into that battle.
"YES!" Izuku, Momo, Mina and Xander objected to his answer. Preyas meanwhile... was slack jawed and was mentally screaming.
"So, you ready to go?" Momo asked him.
Preyas frantically panicked, and simply answered... "No!"
"But we're counting on you!" Mina said to him.
"Oh alright, fine."
"Preyas Don't!" Hydragan said, which caught Drago's attention, "Whats wrong Hydragan?" he asked.
Before she could answer however, Mina had already launched Preyas into battle, "Bakugan Brawl! Preyas stand!" Mina said as Preyas landed on the same card as Saurus.
But in the way he appeared, Japanese dojo doors slid open, and he was holding an umbrella. He turned to them with his signature grin. "Mind if I play?" he made his voice sound like a girl, getting a few laughs from Mina, but irritating Momo a bit and Xander.
"Be serious!" Momo yelled at him.
"Do you mind?! This is my party!" he focused his power, readying to change his attribute. He leaped into the air as his body started to glow. "Change of Attribute!" his skin changed to match the Darkus Attribute. "What do you think? Too much?"
Xander snapped. "CUT IT OUT!" he yelled seeing him land. "You idiot! You morphed into Darkus, we needed Haos!"
"PREYAS YOU FOOL! YOU CAN ONLY TURN TO SUBTERRA AND DARKUS YOU IDIOT WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS!" Hydragans left head shouted as she knew the truth, Hydragan knew that Preyas could only turn to Subterra and Darkus as that was the Aquos Bakugans limit on changes.
Preyas panicked knowing he made a mistake. "I can't do anything right can I?" he admitted to them in the form of a question.
Jenny and Jewls watched as he panicked. "Not the brightest Bakugan..." Jewls said out loud.
Preyas turned sharply towards her with an intense glare. "Hey! I heard that!"
"Gate Card Open now!" Jewls called out as the Gate Card glowed, empowering Saurus as it roared out. Preyas saw it look to him with a fierce glare and he started sweating bullets. "Saurus Power level increase." said the Bakupod.
Preyas screamed as loud as he could and ran away from Saurus. "I'm in a little trouble here! Someone call 9-1-1 if it's not too much trouble! HUUURRRRYYYYY!" he cried out for help.
Mina looked at her Bakupod. "Oh no..." she saw that Water Refrain had been negated, "Momo, Water Refrain is gone!".
"Someone do something!" Xander said.
Izuku quickly thought before getting an idea, "I got it! Ability Card Activate! Time to combine Darkus and Pyrus!" he yelled.
Preyas was being powered up by Pyrus Serpenoid. "Whoa I'm freaking out man!" Preyas exclaimed, feeling his power grow.
"Preyas Power Level 400 G's." the Bakupod informed them. Preyas' muscles flex and he formed a grin across his face. "Alright buddy... time for you to get hurt!" he launched a barrage of punches against Saurus and gave it a right uppercut launching it into the air, Saurus was then forced it back into Ball Form.
The JJ Dolls were shocked at what happened. "No way! He took him down!" Jenny exclaimed.
Preyas laughed at them as he reverted to Ball Form returning to his partner. "Boy, that was too close for comfort! I almost lost my Preyas!" Mina said as she turned to Izuku, "Thanks for the help Midori".
"No problem, luckily I remembered I had a Pyrus and Darkus correlation card and managed to link up the Pyrus and Darkus forces at the last minute to pull it off." Izuku said.
"Oh please... I was in control the whole time." Preyas boasted to them.
Meanwhile, the Brawlers all shot a glare at him. "WHY YOU UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BAKUGAN!" they all yelled at him in unison.
"A careless display Preyas!" Drago yelled at him.
"You knew you can only turn to Darkus and Subterra and yet you went in anyway!" Hydragans left head said, "Please don't scare us again" said Hydragans right head, "Draca, Trayfa, settle down" Hydragan said to the two heads, the left head now known as Trayfa.
"Hey lighten up would ya? After all I did win!" Preyas exclaimed to him.
"Alrighty girlfriend, it was nice seeing playing against a sister who backs what they're saying!" Jewls called out to the group.
"You the bomb girlfriend!" Jenny said.
"And this battle is about to end!" Jewls added to it.
Xander deadpanned at this, "I am literally gonna get a headache from those two" he said
Jenny pulled out a Gate Card and tossed it to the field. "Gate Card set! Bakugan Brawl! Aquos Siege!" she called out as she shot it to the field.
"Aquos Siege?!" Momo panicked.
"Not good!" Izuku panicked aswell, they hadn't taken out the Aquos bakugan yet and his Serpanoid and Momo's Juggernoid were still in the battle.
"I had a funny feeling they weren't finished with us yet." Xander said as he watched Siege emerge on the field.
Jenny giggled a bit. "I love this game!"
"Hey girl, time to get your surf on!" Jewls said to her.
"Ability Card Activate! Tsunami Wave!" Jenny called out as Siege focused his power, summoning a giant Tsunami.
"Oh no!" Izuku said as he panicked, but then…
"Hydragan! You gotta get in there!" Preyas yelled, surprising everyone.
"WHAT?!" everyone but Hydragain yelled.
"Trust me kiddies, she can stop that mean old wave!" he said.
"A-Are you sure?" Momo asked.
"He's right" everyone looked to Hydragan, "I can stop it, send me in" she said.
Momo was hesitant, but she nodded before loading her up in her shooter, "Bakugan Brawl!" she said as she launched Hydragan into the field.
"Aquos Hydragan, Stand!" a pillar of water rises up as inside the pillar, 3 sets of eyes glowed, the water disappears as Hydragans true form emerges, she stood on four legs and had sharp claws, she has 3 long necks with each head on them, golden armor on her body and tail which hard a golden trident head as the tip of her tail, her heads each had golden horns, the left head had small 6 horns, the right head had 3 bigger horns, one on each side of the head and one on the top of the head, and the middle head had 2 large horns that looked like large bull horns, she was very big as she towered over Siege.
"Now, lets stop this wave!" she said before each head opened their mouths as blue energy formed in them before firing at the tsunami wave, "FROZEN TRIPLE BLAST!" She announced as the beams hit the Tsunami, the wave was turned to ice instantly, stopping the attack.
"WHAT?!" Jenny and Jewls said in total shock and surprise, they had never seen this type of attack before, none the less stop an attack that was considered unstoppable.
"Whoa" The brawlers said as they too were surprised and in awe.
"Its not over yet~" Preyas said teasingly, then the frozen wave cracks, before crumbling down, the ice chunks collide with Fear Ripper and Garganoid, defeating them instantly as they revert to ball form.
"No way!" Jenny said in shock as her two Aquos bakugan fell to her feet.
"Aquos Triple Chain attack negated, Aquos Hydragan power level at 360 G's, Frozen Triple Blast ability added 100G's total power level 460 G's,a strong opponent" The Bakugpod said
"You gotta be kidding me!" Jewls said.
"Incredible!" Momo said as Hydragan then set her gaze at Aquos Siege.
"Now you shall face judgement!" She announced before she charged at Siege, who tried to dodge, only to get grabbed by Draca and Trayfa's mouths before Hydragans middle head had headbutted Siege hard, turning back into its ball form and rolled to Jenny's feet.
"No!" Jenny exclaimed.
"Hey chill out Jen,we still have the secret weapon" Jewls said, which perked up Jenny.
"Yeah, your right" she said as she smirked.
After Hydragan beat Siege, she returned to ball form and returned to Momo.
"That was amazing Hydragan" she said to her partner.
"It was no problem at all dealing with them, but the battle isn't over yet" Hydragan said.
Present Mic: Talk about three heads are better than one, its Hydragan, Attribute: Aquos, this three headed gal has 3 main personalities, Draca, the head who has more of the innocent side, Trayfa, the aggressive side and Hydara, the logical but also caring personality, all three heads have full control of the body, but sometimes one head will dominate control for certain reasons, they are known as the Aqua Terror Triangle back in Vestroia due to the 3 heads and how powerful they are in battle
"Hey girl!" Jenny called out, the brawlers took noticed and saw she held an ability card, "Ready to see true power?" she asked before activating it.
"Ability Activate! Atlantic Resurface!" she said, suddenly her fallen Aquos bakugan appeared once more on the field before returning to ball forms and into her hands.
"What?!" the brawlers exclaimed.
"Ok thats gotta be against the rules!" Xander yelled.
"No, that was Atlantic Resurface, it allows only Aquos bakugan of the player who activates it to return to the fight as if they were never rolled out" Izuku explained.
"Oh great, please tell me we aren't gonna have to stop another Tsunami" Mina asked.
"No, it can only happen once, But we need to deal with them again" Izuku explained.
"Well we're gonna have to do it fast" Xander said
"Now, lets try this again! Gate Card set!"" Jenny said as she threw a gate card onto the field, then she shot Fear Ripper back into the field, "Bakugan Brawl!".
Aquos Fear Ripper appeared once more as it let out a shriek, ready for battle again.
It had landed on the card Momo's Juggernoid was on.
"Oh no!" Momo said, scared that she might lose her bakugan.
"Time to finish what we started!" Jenny said as she pulled out an ability card, "Ability card activate! Water slasher!"
Aquos Fear Rippers claws then glowed in blue energy before it attacked Juggernoid, opening a portal to the Doom Dimension as Juggernoid was sent through.
"No! Juggernoid!" Momo yelled as she lost her Bakugan.
Fear Ripper then returned to Jenny as she smirked, "Another one bites the dust!" she said smugly.
"Time to finish you guys! Bakugan Brawl!" Jewels sent out her next Bakugan, "Centipoid stand!" She said as a subterra Centipoid enter the field
"Centipoid powerlevel at 310 G's"
"And to add things up! Ability activate! Terra barricade!" Jewls announced as stones appeared around her Bakugan, "Centipoid powerlevel at 410 G's"
Xander growled as he clenched his fists at this, "Guys, I got an idea, but it requires one of our bakugan being taken out" he said.
"Wait, you don't mean-" Mina was going to ask but Xander stopped her.
"No, they won't get sent to the doom dimension, Its only meant for a power transfer" Xander said before looking to Izuku, "Midoriya, do you mind if Serpanoid is taken from the battle?" he asked.
Izuku contemplated a bit before he gave a nod, "Do it" he said.
"Thanks" Xander said before bringing out a single Pyrus Bakugan, "Ready to battle buddy?" he asked his Bakugan which replied.
"I'm ready" it said before Xander loaded him into his shooter.
"Time to take you girls down! Bakugan Brawl!" Xander yelled as he fired his Bakugan onto the same card Fear Ripper was, "Pyrus Kitronai Stand!".
The Bakugan opened to reveal some type of fox creature before a giant pillar of fire appeared.
"What the heck?!" Mina exclaimed as the fire pillar was making some harsh wind blow in all directions.
"What on earth is going on?!" Jenny yelled through the wind.
Izuku and Drago looked at the pillar and within, they could see something forming before the pillar's flames got absorbed into the centre, revealing what was inside.
Standing on the field now was a large fox creature, it had 2 tails, red and orange fur with crimson spinal spikes, it had gold armour on its ankles and shoulders, it had red glowing eyes and white fur for muzzle and underbelly
The fox bakugan, Kitronai, let out a loud and powerful roar, sending a massive shockwave due to his volume.
Present Mic: Woah-ho-ho! Get a load of this monster of a Bakugan, This is Kitronai, Attribute: Pyrus, known for absolute loyalty, it won't abandon any of its team or pack without a good reason, they are also known as the Fire Protectors in Vestroia
As Kitronai stopped roaring, Jenny and Jewls both checked the bakupods and were shocked.
"Pyrus Kitronai power level at 390 G's, no other data available" said the Bakupods.
"No way! This Bakugan is way jacked up!" Jenny said.
Xander smirks as he pulls out an ability card, "You haven't seen anything yet! Get ready Kitronai!" he shouted towards his Bakugan.
"I'm ready Xander, Hit it!" Kitronai said to him.
"Ability Activate! Blazing Spirit!" Xander called out, soon a red aura appeared around Pyrus Serpanoid before it went towards Kitronai, the aura being absorbed into the sharp spikes on Kitronai's back as he lets out a roar before serpanoid returned to ball form and fell to Izuku's feet.
Kitronai now had a blazing aura around itself as the Bakupod announced, "Pyrus Kitronai power increase detected, Serpanoid has left battle, Kitronai power level now at 670 G's, no new data available"
"Thats impossible!" Jewls yelled in terror.
Kitronai stares down at Centipoid, the subterra Bakugan shaking in fear, knowing it was done for, "Now you shall face judgement!" Kitronai yelled as he charged at the centipede Bakugan, instantly taking it down as it reverted to ball form and landed by Jewls' feet.
"No way!" She said in shock.
Kitronai then returned to Xander who caught the Kitsune Bakugan, "How's that for a performance girls?" He said with a smirk
"Jenny still has all three Bakugan, it's not over yet" Izuku said
"Which is why I have another idea, Hey Yaomomo, lets send our Bakugan in together when I place my gate card alright?" Xander said to her, she nodded as Xander pulled out a gate card, "Gate Card set!" He threw the card onto the field as it grew in size.
Both Xander and Momo loaded up their shooters as they shot their Bakugan into the field, "Bakugan Brawl!"
The Bakugan to appear in the field were Hydragan and a Pyrus Hynoid
"Hydragan and Hynoid enter battle, no new data available"
"As if I'm gonna fight you guys all alone" Jenny said as she looked to Jewls, who smirked as she pulled out an ability card.
Izuku noticed this and quickly knew what was gonna happen next, although he dreaded it, "Don't tell me…"
"Ability Activate! Return Quake!" Jewels announced, suddenly the players noticed the bakupod life points for Jewls went up by two, she was back in the game again, although only two points, meaning she only could use two bakugan unlike Jenny.
"OH COME ON!" Mina yelled in frustration.
"Don't worry, my plan can still work, we just need to get Jenny and Jewls to send all of their bakugan at us and we're golden" Xander said
"Bakugan Brawl!" the singing duo shouted as they shot their bakugan into the field, as Subterra Centipoid and Aquos Siege appeared once more.
"Even with that tricked out Hydra you have, you're still gonna lose to us!" Jenny said mockingly.
"Time to show ya what we got!" Jewls said as blue and orange aura appeared around the girls.
"Uh oh, I recognise that" Mina said
"What? What is it?" Xander and Momo asked.
"Quirk infusion" Izuku said
Suddenly Jewls' Centipoid roared as it then grew large feathered wings on its back as well as a crest of feathers on its head, then Jenny's Siege gained fish fins on its arms, legs and head.
"Oh yeah! Take a look at our new and improved bakugan!" Jenny said.
"They are totally off the chain! Better say goodbye to your bakugan now!" Jewels said as they both pulled out ability cards.
"This doesn't look good" Xander said.
"Ability Active!" both the singing duo said, "Super Sonic Duo Song!" Suddenly both Centipoid and Siege let out what could be best described as air piercing screech.
The screech was definitely a pain to Hydragan and Hynoid, especially Hynoid since its hearing was more sensitive.
"Hang in there Hynoid!" Xander said as he was trying to find a good ability card.
"Pyrus Hynoid power level decrease by 50 G's, Hydragan power level decrease by 50 G's, Opponent power level increase by 100 G's each" announced the Bakupod as it showed Hynoid was now at a lower power level than the other bakugan on the field.
"I think its that mutts bathtime don't ya think?" Jenny said as she pulled out an ability card, "Ability Activate! Aqua Lance!" she announced before Siege thrusted its lance at Hynoid, which then a torrent of water shot out.
Xander quickly activated his ability card, "Ability activate! Griffon Spirit!" He announced, suddenly before the water could connect, a Pyrus Griffon appeared in the field, blocking the water and sending it back at Siege, which managed to take it down, returning it to ball form and towards Jenny's feet.
"HUH?! How did you do that?!" Jenny said totally confused.
"Simple, my special ability, Griffon Spirit, allows me to summon my Pyrus Griffon into battle to counter any attack, but since I used that card, I can't use Griffon in the battle without any cards to bring him back" Xander explained as Griffon disappeared back to ball form and landed by Xanders feet.
"You sacrifice your bakugan Xander, your down to two left" Izuku said.
"I know, but what matters now is making sure we beat them, Jenny is down to two Bakugan, they are equal now" Xander said.
"He's right, they both now have only two Bakugan, we can win this for sure" Mina said.
"You still need to take down the Quirk infused Centipoid" Drago said.
"I got this one" Momo said as she pulled out an ability card, "Ability activate!" She said as Hydragan announced the attack.
"Aqua Trident!" she said as all three heads fired torrents of water at Centipoid, the bug Bakugan took the hits as it tried to resist, but it wasn't enough as it was taken down, returning to ball form and landing by Jewl's feet with Hydragan returning to Momo.
"Dang it!" Jewl's said.
"Don't worry Jewl's, we still have one thing to take them down, just let me bring in reinforcements just incase" Jenny said as they both smirk, the glowing Masks around them shined with evil.
The brawlers notice this as Izuku asked, "What are they planning now?".
"Not sure, stay on your toes guys" Xander said.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Jenny said as she shot her last two Bakugan on Xanders gate card, "Bakugan stand!" Soon her Garganoid and Fear Ripper appeared once more on the field.
"She threw in her last Bakugan? For what?" Xander asked.
"She's gone crazy for coo coo puffs" Preyas said.
Izuku was analysing the situation as he tried to figure out the duo's plan, 'Jewls only brought back two Bakugan and Centipoid is out, Jenny brough back all of hers but now she is sending the last of them out together, either Jewl's brings out her Saurus or her Stinglash, or she might have another trick up their sleeve, maybe…!' Izuku paused in his thoughts, wondering if what he thought was true.
"Show them how we roll!" Jenny said as Jewl's brought out a Bakugan ball, only it was brown and black.
"Bakugan Brawl!" she said as she threw it on the same card as jenny's Bakugan, "Subterra Nomunoid stand!".
"A Nomunoid? What's a Nomunoid?" Mina asked.
As the bakugan landed, a large sandstorm appeared as the bakugan rose from the ground, the sandstorm dispersed and what the brawlers saw, greatly shook them to their core.
Standing on the field was a mismatched monster, it had black skin and reptilian claws for hands and feet, it had rocks coming out of its back, but what really shook them was the exposed brain of the creature, with dark green gemstone-like eyes popping out of the brain, it disgusted them as the head of the beast looked bird like with the beak and sharp fangs from said beak.
"What is that?!" Mina asked.
"It looks horrifying!" Momo said.
"HOLY GUACAMOLE THAT'S HIDEOUS!" Preyas yelled as he somehow had a brown paper back and proceeded to somehow puke it in.
"That monster…its filled to the brim with Silent core energy!" Drago said as he could feel immense pressure from the monster, "Where did you get such a creature?!" Drago demanded.
"Oh just from our buddy Masquerade, he has some wicked secrets and awesome things for us to use when we're done with you" Jenny said.
"Now then, hows about we finish this, send your bakugan so they can be sent to the Doom Dimension where they belong" Jewl's said as their aura's grew dark.
Izuku was terrified by this monster they called Nomunoid, but he clenched his fists in anger, he would rather die than let anymore Bakugan be sent to the Doom Dimension.
"Not a chance, we won't give up!" Izuku said as Drago floated by him, "Drago, you ready to help out?" he asked.
"I'm ready!" Drago said as he curled up, Izuku loaded him into his shooter, "Alright, Bakugan Brawl!" he shot Drago onto the card the Nomunoid and Jenny's Bakugan were on.
Drago appeared on the field as he glared towards the Nomunoid, "I don't know where you came from creature, but you must be stopped" Drago said, the Nomunoid did not reply as it just gave a blank stare, as if waiting for something.
"Hows about you try this!" Jewl's said as she pulled out a strange looking Ability card, "Nomu Ability activate! Stone Vortex!" she announced.
The Nomunoid's eyes flashed as it then acted as its back shot out tons upon tons of stones, which started to make a sandstorm of sorts appear around Drago.
"Drago!" Izuku shouted, Dragon tried to withstand the attack but many of the stones kept stabbing into him, every hit from the stones were decreasing his power level.
"No point in trying Midoriya, you better say goodbye to Drago now, no other chance then now" Jenny said with an evil smirk.
Izuku however was not gonna let this happen, he scowled, not noticing Full Cowling was being activated, or that a red aura was starting to surround him, however the others noticed this.
"I-Izuku?" Momo asked.
"I won't let you…" Izuku said as the aura around him grew bigger as OFA surged all around him, "I won't let you take my friend away from me!" Izuku said before the red aura blasted off of him and right at Drago, soon Drago felt a surge of energy as red energy veins appeared all around his body, he also felt the power Unitian passed onto him grow in power before he let out a roar.
The energy soon appeared around Drago as the sandstorm dispersed, Drago roared as the energy grew around him.
"Drago power increase detected" the bakupod announced as Drago's power level was increasing, and wasn't stopping.
The singer duo noticed this and panicked, "No way, how is he getting stronger?!" Jewl's said.
"He won't stop this!" Jenny said as she pulled out ability cards for her bakugan, Xander noticed this and acted quickly, "Oh no you don't! Bakugan Brawl!" He said as he shot his hynoid into the battle, "Hynoid! Distract her bakugan!" he said, Mina caught on quick to and joined in.
"I'm not letting you have all the fun! Bakugan Brawl!" she said as she shot Preyas into battle, who was not prepared at that moment.
"MOMMY!" Preyas said as he was thrown into battle.
"Preyas, help Hynoid to keep those bozo's away from Drago!" Mina said.
"Well alrighty then, lets do this!" Preyas said as he and hynoid dealt with Fear Ripper and Garganoid.
Drago's power kept increasing as he charged at the Nomunoid, "Your days are over!" Drago yelled as both Bakugan grappled against each other, the Nomunoid tried pushing against Drago but the Dragonoid wouldn't budge.
Jewl's growled in rage at this, "Stop messing around! Take it down already!".
"You know" Izuku said, getting the singer duo's attention, "Your not the only ones with special abilities" Izuku said as everyone soon noticed, he was now in the same dragon form he had in the entrance exam, scales, claws and horns too.
"We're strong because we don't give up, right buddy?" Izuku asked Drago.
"Right!" Drago said as he pushed the Nomunoid back before pulled back a fist, which started to gain a rainbow aura of energy around it as he reeled it back.
"Time to end this!" Izuku said as he pulled out a shining ability card, not even bothering to ask what it was about, for he was too focused on beating this Nomunoid, "Quirk Infusion Ability activate!" he announced, shocking everyone, even the singer duo.
"Quirk Infusion Ability?!" The girls said.
"Together, we are strong!" Izuku said.
"Together, we are incredible!" Drago said as the energy around his reeled fist glowed brighter.
"Whoa, what's with the light show?!" Preyas asked as he was pushing Garganoids face away from him.
"Together…we shall defeat you!" Izuku and Drago said together as Drago charged at the Nomunoid as they both announced the attack together.
"DRAGON SMASH!" The hit landed in the Nomunoids face, making a massive shockwave that managed to even effect the Fear Ripper and Garganoid, the energy rippled as the Nomunoid cried out in pain before it was blown back, it was about to land on the singer duo before it glowed in orange energy and fell to the ground in ball form, even Fear Ripper and Garganoid were blown back and reverted to ball form..
"Subterra Nomunoid defeated, Jewl's eliminated, Aquos Fear Ripper and Garganoid defeated, Jenny Eliminated, Winners, Izuku, Mina, Momo and Xander" the Bakupod said, but everyone was silent as the field disappeared and they returned to the real world.
Kyoka, Denki and Anna looked at them curiously and noticed their friends were silent with stunned faces, "So, did you win?" Denki asked.
Jenny and Jewl's both fell to their knees as they sighed in sadness, "Atleast we're still popular" They said in unison as Kyoka, Denki and Anna rushed over to their friends.
"Come on, so tell me guys, did you win?" Anna asked them only to receive a nod from Izuku.
Mina looked to the JJ Dolls and walked to them. "Girls... I know you love this game, but if you ask me, battling for that creep Masquerade is not the smartest thing in the world to do." she explained to them.
Jewls smiled and walked up to the group, "Who cares about that guy when there's these hunky homeboys like Midoriya and Xander to battle." she said to her with a warm smile but flinched when she saw Anna cling to Xanders arm with a glare.
"He's taken" She said.
"Sorry about all the things we said and how we acted..." Jenny said as she and Jewls looked down with regret.
Izuku looked at them before sighing and walked to them with a smile. "It's alright girls, but the next time you want to battle, please leave the Doom Cards out of it."
The girls were quiet before giving a smile back, "You got it Midoriya." Jewls said with a smile.
Jenny touched Jewl's shoulder. "Yo, yo girlfriend, we gotta roll." she said to her.
Jewls quickly realised they're almost late. "That's right! I can't believe we forgot all about it!"
"What's wrong girls?" Momo asked them.
"We've got a show tonight!" the JJ Dolls exclaimed as they took off their Bakushooters and ran off. "Super Sing Sound Extravaganza Rocks! See ya guys!"
Drago watched them leave and had a moment of silence. "I fully realized my understanding of your language is limited... however! I believe the word for those two would be... flakes?"
"They were mildly amusing creatures to say the least Drago." Tigrerra said to him.
"They were being misled, we can't blame them for that." Anna said.
"What concerns me is the one you call Masquerade, especially with that new creature we just fought." Drago mentioned him and the Nomunoid which concerned Izuku greatly, he had catgorised almost every Bakugan that had appeared, and he never saw that thing before..
"Well if you ask me, I say we challenge that varmint to a showdown." Preyas said in a southern accent.
Izuku looked to Drago. "Well Drago, what do you think?"
Drago then spoke, "I believe it is time I tell you about where we came from".
When they got back into Momo's room, they had Alice on the screen in a video call. "Come on you guys, spill! What is it you want to tell us?" Mina asked anxiously.
"I believe now is the right time to explain about the universe I come from." Drago said to them.
"You mean Vestroia right?" Izuku asked him.
"The place where all Bakugan live?" Denki added to the question.
"That... is correct... Vestroia is a vast dimension comprising six Attribute worlds. You humans would know them better as Fire, Earth, Light, Dark, Water, and Wind. In the very centre of our universe there are two opposing cores, Infinity, the source of all Positive Energy, and the Silent Core, the source of all Negative Energy." he explained to them.
"These two opposing forces maintain the equilibrium of our dimension." Kitronai explained aswell
"Yes, but there was one Rogue Bakugan who in his lust for control, schemed to seize all the power for himself. This had never happened in our universe before, his name was Naga, and his mission was to penetrate the core and seize the power. But this had never been done before." Drago continued his explanation, "Somehow however, he didn't succeed and he released all the Negative Energy. It affected the Bakugan, and now it has spilled into the human world.".
"Aaaand everybody didn't live happily ever after. And that's it, bye-bye." Preyas said to them.
Izuku and the brawlers soon gasped in realisation. "Aw man, this is all starting to make sense now, all those cards must have fallen through some kind of wormhole or something into our world." Dan suggested. "And the crazy thing is... everyone who found them just thought they were some kind of game... boy were we ever wrong."
"No kidding, you think I came here for my health?" Preyas broke into the conversation as they entered bit of a flashback.
"Before Naga screwed everything up, I was just a cute peace loving Bakugan." Preyas was battling a Pyrus Gargonoid in the flashback. The Gargonoid went to strike him, but Preyas dodged it and flipped backwards landing on his feet. He then charged at the Gargonoid and punched its face rapidly and clobbered it with a strong punch. "KNUCKLE SANDWICH!" he said as Gargonoid was knocked down. He chuckled unaware a Ventus Juggernoid was falling down and it landed right on his head. He groaned and fell down to the ground. "Can't we all just get along...?" He sat back up rubbing his head. "Did anyone... get the number of that bus...?" he asked, breaking the fourth wall again.
"Then the next thing I know, I wake up in your world with Hydragan, we were freaked! My past was a foggy memory... I only knew I had to find myself." he said as the flashback ended.
"Find the cute and cuddly Preyas I remember deep down inside of me. A Bakugan... who loved long walks on the beach, a warm fire and a good book-" before Preyas could finish.
"Gee Preyas, that's almost interesting, but would you mind not interrupting again?" Komanor said
"Sorry Drago, now go ahead and finish your story." Izuku said to him.
"After Naga had disrupted our world, and before the Bakugan began entering yours... there was one human who crossed over, into Vestroia." Drago mentioned to them.
"A human crossed over?! You're serious?!" Izuku asked him, surprised.
"Yes... and he was the one who showed Naga how to enter the centre of the world. He opened the portal... that was the last I saw of Naga. Vestroia fell into a world of sheer madness, the Negative power overwhelming the minds and wills of the Bakugan who lived there. The violence escalated, and seemed to be no end to it. That is when I decided to enter your realm and put a stop to this insanity, when I crossed over you were in the middle of one of your games, that was the first you ever saw of me Izuku." Drago explained as they took a trip back down memory lane.
"Yeah I remember... the vision I had a while ago..." Izuku mentioned it.
"And it seemed real..." Izuku said as he looked to Denki.
"Wow, so how long have you been here Tigrerra?" he asked his partner how long she was on Earth.
"Just after Drago left Vestroia, I followed... I realised my world was about to collapse on itself. And our only hope to save it was to come to your world. Just before I left, I saw the Infinity Core leaving Vestroia to enter your realm forever." she explained to them, receiving surprised looks from everyone.
"Naga must have summoned it here, now our mission is to return to two cores, otherwise Vestroia is doomed." Drago exclaimed as he looked down.
"For real...?" Mina asked worriedly.
"We must find the human that corrupted Naga's mind." Drago said to them.
"But who is he?" Xander asked him curiously.
"If I remember correctly... its Michael..." Drago mentioned it to them.
"Michael who?" Izuku asked, only to hear a gasp from Mina.
"Whoa! Hang on a sec you guys!" she pulled out her phone and was frantically searching through it, "Where did I put it?! I just saw it here!" she said in frustration.
Mina stopped before she showed what was on her phone screen, "Okay, you guys are not gonna believe this. Check this out!" on the screen, it was a downloaded digital version of a 7th grade science book.
"Yeah, uh... I hate to break it to you, but that's just your 7th grade science book." Kyoka said bluntly.
"it's what's inside the book that matters Jiro! I think I know who Michael is!" Mina said as she scrolled through the screen and showed a picture. "Is this the dude?" she asked Drago.
Drago immediately recognized him. "Yes! That's him! That's him!" he said as he hopped into the air. Meanwhile, Alice gasped in shock and disbelief.
"Who is he?" Anna asked.
"That's Dr. Michael Gehabich, the multi gazillionaire scientist, last I heard he went missing a couple years ago." Momo explained.
"He needs a total makeover and fast before I-" before Preyas could finish, Mina grabbed him just to shut him up.
Momo looked at the group. "I know this is gonna sound kind of weird, but do you guys think its possible that when this Dr. Michael went missing, he really crossed over to Vestroia?" he asked them curiously.
"Seems to far fetched to me" Denki said.
"But it might be possible Kaminari, he is a scientist after all" Xander mentioned to him.
"Wait a sec you guys, you think there's a connection between Masquerade and this Doctor guy?" Mina asked them curiously.
The group pondered, Izuku was deep in thought as he possibly knew that was the case.
Elsewhere, in Masquerade's hideout, he was looking at the scores, but was soon contacted by someone. "This is Hal-G..." a face formed from the wall Masquerade sat in front of. "Hows my little plan coming along... Masquerade?" he asked him.
"Well... lets just say that you have nothing to worry about, Hal-G." Masquerade said with a dark chuckle as he looked back at the screen. "The more we battle, the more our Bakugan evolve, and soon the Infinity core will be ours." he continued to chuckle darkly.
"And what of the Nomunoid our new friend had helped with making?" Hal-G said to him.
"It was defeated, but thankfully the data we got was perfect for our plans." Masquerade said with a devious smirk.
At Alice's house, she gasped in shock as she woke up from her nap before hew flight to Japan. She didn't know what to think of the situation as she looked to the picture of her and Michael Gehabich. "After all these years... no grandfather Michael, you in Vestroia? It... it can't be!" she cried out lowering her head.
"Yes, yes, the Infinity Core will be ours." Masquerades voice called out from where he was hiding.
Mina: Hey, this is Mina! Coming up on the next Bakugan Hero Brawlers, we head to the airport to pick up Alice, that's where we meet two brothers, Takashi and Kosuke who challenge us to a brawl. Kyoka is totally pumped about the battle, and everything starts out okay, I just hope we have what it takes to convince these boys to reconsider their decisions. How does it end? Well... you'll just have to figure it out for yourself. On the next episode of Bakugan Hero Brawlers. Trust me, this ones gonna be wicked. Bakugan Brawl! Lets do this!
