Int. High School Hallway - Morning
Zach is walking to class, he notices that the teacher isn't here yet again and notices Olivia at the front once again, rummaging through her bag
Zach:
What ya lookin for?
Olivia:
I didn't do the homework last night and now i can't find the paper
Zach:
hang on
Zach opens his bag and hands her a copy of the homework
Olivia:
How did you--
Zach:
Mr. Norris gave me an extra by accident so i decided to hold on to it
Olivia:
you really are something else
Zach:
if you want, i can let you copy off mine
Olivia:
That would be great
Zach hands her his paper and she sits on the floor and begins copying
Zach:
you know something just hit me
Olivia:
What?
Zach:
how are you the first one here when the bell just rung
Olivia:
I always come in early, I don't really have any friends to hang out with other than my brother
Zach:
Well, do you consider me as a friend?
Before Olivia could answer that question, Mr. Norris walks up and opens the door, Olivia hands Zach the paper and gets off the floor
Cut to:
Int. Cafeteria - Afternoon
Zach, Ryan, Jacob, and Aaron are all sitting at a table
Zach:
So, this is the new kid?
Aaron:
yep, you must be Zachary
Zach:
My friends call me Zach
Aaron:
ok
Jacob:
so who is this Olivia chick?
Zach:
she is just a girl in my class
Ryan:
A girl that talks to him
Jacob:
since when did you start talking to girls?
Zach ignores the question, he keeps staring outside to see Olivia, sitting all alone
Jacob:
Hellooo? earth to zachary
Zach:
I'm gonna go, nice meeting you Aaron
Zach walks out of the cafeteria and towards Olivia, she lifts her head up and sees him coming and puts on a smile
Olivia:
didn't expect to see you
Zach:
Mind if i sit
Olivia:
Sure
they continue talking as the camera pans back to Jacob, Ryan, and Aaron
Jacob:
That's the girl?
Ryan:
I guess so
Jacob:
Uh-oh
