Fade in:
Int. Court house - Morning
It is Saturday, the day of the big trial, everyone is there; Zach, Olivia, Jacob, Ryan and Matt are sitting together, waiting for the trial to start
Jacob:
I wonder why they waited this long to have a trial
Zach:
I'm just glad he'll be behind bars, (turns to Olivia) No offense
Olivia:
none taken, but I'm just worried what my dad will think of you
Zach:
I'll talk to him after the Trial
The Judge walks in and sits at the front
Guard: Court is now in session
Judge:
Bring him in
Brad walks out in handcuffs and sits down
The judge reads through the file
Judge: Mr. Moore, do you know why your here?
Brad: yes your honor
Judge:
Considering that you commited 2nd degree assault and battery and have no lawyer, I'm hearby sentencing you to 2 years in prison
The audience gasps and a collection of murmurs start as the guards take Brad away
Cut to:
Ext. Court House - Afternoon
Zach, Olivia, Jacob, and Ryan are standing outside, Olivia's parents approach them
Eli:
Zach was it?
Zach:
Yes sir?
Eli:
We haven't properly met, I'm Eli, Olivia's dad
Zach:
Nice to meet you, sir
Eli:
Mind if i talk to you privately?
Zach:
Sure
They walk away from the group
Eli:
I'm sorry about what my son did to you
Zach:
it's ok, none of us expected any of this to happen

I want to invite you over for dinner, we can finally bury the hatchet, you and your father

Eli leaves and Zach goes back to the group

So your dad invited me and my dad over for dinner

He wants to "bury the hatchet" but at least our parents get to properly meet each other
Matt pulls up, signaling for Zach

Zach kisses Olivia and gets in the car

Olivia watches them drive off

Int. Matt's Car - Afternoon
Zach is looking out the window, he turns to his dad

So, Olivia's dad invited us over for dinner tonight

He wanted to put this whole thing behind us and start fresh

Int. Jacob's Room - Afternoon
Jacob, Ryan and Aaron are discussing what their next podcast episode should be

What if we get Zach to come on and talk about Brad's trial
Jacob:
Eh, he probably won't do it considering that it just happened and he is still healing
Aaron:
It won't hurt to try
Ext. Olivia's House - Night
Zach and Matt pull up in the driveway and Matt gets out to try and help Zach out of the car
Matt:

Zach:
Almost, nope I'm falling
Matt catches Zach and helps him up

yeah, yeah I'm fine, don't forget the wine

Matt grabs the wine and helps Zach up the stairs
Zach knocks on the door and Olivia answers

Olivia goes to hug Zach

Zach and Matt walk in and Olivia closes the door

Int. Olivia's House - Same
Matt goes into the kitchen to find Eli cooking while Zach and Olivia sit on the couch, he turns around

Eli shakes Matt's hand

Nice to properly meet you, Matt
Matt:

do you mind helping me set plates

Matt sets the wine down and grabs a plate

Int. Olivia's Living Room - Night
Zach and Olivia are sitting, talking

Zach:

They hold hands and Zach leans in and just when they were about to kiss, Matt walks in
Matt:
Oh, sorry i Just came to tell y'all that dinner is ready
Zach(laughs):
Great, let's eat
Zach and Olivia get up from the couch and walk into the kitchen but they realize that there are only 2 plates on the table
Int. Olivia's Kitchen - Same
Zach(Cont'd):
What's all this?
Eli:
Olivia told me that you guys couldn't make the first date because of the whole fiasco so she came up with an idea to have the first date here
Zach turns to Olivia, who has a big smile on her face
Zach:
You put this all together?
Olivia:
yeah, but i had a little help
She looks at Matt and Eli
Zach:
You were in on this, Dad?
Matt:
yes, please sit the both of you
Eli and Matt both pull out chairs for Zach and Olivia and they sit
Matt(to Zach):
Your mother would be so proud of you
Zach smiles as Matt and Eli leave the room
Olivia:
So, what do you think?
Zach:
This... all of this is great
They both smile and eat, sometime goes by and it is now 10:00pm, Matt is sleeping on the couch while Zach and Olivia are upstairs in her room
Int. Olivia's Room - Night
Zach has his jacket off, tie loosen, and is sitting on Olivia's bed, Olivia is getting changed in her closet
Zach:
I had a really great time tonight
Olivia:
Me too
Zach looks at various pictures of her and her mom
Zach:
What happened to your mom?
Olivia:
She uh... Left my dad when i was only 3, leaving me and my brother
Zach:
I'm sorry, i didn't mean...
Olivia:
No, No it's fine, i never really knew her
Olivia comes out in pink pajamas brushing her hair(it's a little wet, meaning she just got out of the shower) and stands in front of Zach
Olivia (Cont'd):
If you don't mind me asking, what about you?
Olivia sits next to Zach
Zach:
She um ... died when i was little
Olivia:
Oh, I'm sorry
Zach:
No, don't be, i asked you first so it's only fair
Olivia:
Did that mess things up with your dad?
Zach:
for a good while, he always blamed me for her death, but that was only because he was shitfaced
Olivia:

No, he was an asshole, but he wouldn't hit me
Olivia:
How are you on good terms with him now?
Zach:
He got sober, we talked it out and we went to therapy for a year and after a while, we just got along
Olivia:

Zach turns to Olivia, smiling

Olivia laughs

Olivia pulls Zach in and they kiss passionately, Olivia climbs on top of Zach and She begins to take her shirt off but Zach stops her
Olivia:
What's wrong?
Zach:
are you sure you want this?
Olivia:
Yes, I'm sure
Zach:
ok, fair enough
Olivia kisses Zach again and she unbuttons her shirt and throws it on to the floor, revealing her bra
They kiss again and the camera cuts to the outside of the house and it fades to black
