Zach gets out of Matt's car and walks up to Jacob and Ryan
Jacob:
hey, the man i wanted to see
Zach:
what's up?
Jacob:
Could you possibly come on our podcast?
Zach:
to talk about?
Jacob:
the shit that went down between you and Brad
Zach:
as much as i would love to, can't, i gotta meet Olivia after school
Jacob:
How about tomorrow?
Zach:

Zach walks off to meet Olivia

Int. School Hallway - Morning
Olivia is standing there waiting to meet Zach, she sees him come up the stairs and helps him
Zach:
You know, I'm starting to get a hang of it
Olivia laughs and they walk to class together
Olivia:
How many more months are you in this brace again?
Zach:
Only 2 more months
Olivia:
Isnt your birthday next month?
Zach:
Yeah, i don't know how I'm gonna celebrate it
They enter the classroom and sit down in their seats

Int. School Cafeteria - Afternoon
Jacob, Ryan and Aaron sit in their normal spots and they see Zach and Olivia walking towards them
Zach:
Hey, mind if we sit?
Jacob:
Yeah
Zach and Olivia take a seat
Zach:
So Jacob i have your answer about that podcast thing
Jacob:

Zach:

Jacob:
Sounds great
Olivia:
What podcast thing?
Zach:
These guys made a podcast a while back and they wanted me to get on there to talk about the stuff with Brad
Olivia:
Oh, sounds fun
Jacob:
So i guess we're doing it tomorrow after school?
Zach:
Sounds like a plan
Cut to:
Zach gets home to find nobody there
Zach:
Coast is clear
Zach and Olivia go inside, they set their backpacks down and go into the kitchen
Int. Zach's Kitchen - Afternoon
Olivia:
are you sure your dad doesn't mind me coming
Zach:
nah, he is pulling double shifts tonight and he wants somebody to stay here with me
Olivia:
What time does he get off?
Zach:
Around 10 or 11
Olivia:
So, what do you want to do?

Int. Prison - Afternoon
Brad is seen bouncing a ball against the wall when a guard approaches him
Guard:
Inmate, you have a visitor
Brad stops and turns around
Brad:
Who is it
Cut to:
Int. Prison Visiting Room - Same
Brad is cuffed to the table and Eli walks in
Brad:
What are you doing here?
Eli:
Hello son
Brad:
That doesn't answer my question
Eli:
Answer mine then I'll answer yours
Brad:
Ok, what's the question?
Eli:
Why did you attack Zach?
Brad:
I was trying to--
Eli:
You weren't trying to protect Olivia, that ship has sailed
Brad:
Well, I don't know, maybe i just didn't like him
Eli:
So you break his arm and leg?
Brad:
i was trying to make a point
Eli:
well, look where that got ya, your sitting here
Brad:
What is this really about?
Eli:
(Sighs) when you eventually get out of here, don't come back to the house, don't contact Zach, Olivia, or me ever again and if you do go anywhere near Olivia or Zach, I'll make sure you end up back here for good
Brad is shocked, Eli stands up and walks away and he is taken back to his cell

Int. Zach's Room - Night
Zach and Olivia are on the bed, staring at the ceiling
Olivia:
Do you ever wonder what our lives would've been like if we never met?
Zach:
Sometimes
Olivia:
My brother wouldn't be in jail, your arm and leg wouldn't be broken
Zach:
But we wouldn't be right here right now having this conversation
Olivia:
Exactly
Zach:
if you told me, that at the beginning of the school year i would meet a beautiful, smart girl and would end up dating her, i would tell you that your crazy
Olivia turns her head towards Zach
Olivia:
Do you regret any of it?
Zach turns his head
Zach:
not a single moment
Olivia smiles and rubs her hand on his face, They both fall asleep
Hours later, Matt walks in the house and opens Zach's door to see him and Olivia sleeping and he quietly closes the door and goes to his room
