Int. Louis's Office - Afternoon
Zach is sitting in the chair, Louis is pacong around his desk, clearly upset
Louis:
Let me get this straight, you and your friend were tracking Brad Moore without telling anyone
Zach:
Sir, I--
Louis:
Nah, Nah, I'm not done, you illegally tracked down a wanted criminal and instead of telling me, you wanted to play hero and finish this by yourself
Zach:
I'm sorry
Louis sits down, he takes a deep breath
Louis:
Look, I get that you want justice, but doing this is going to get you killed, and what happens then?
Zach:
If dying means putting Brad behind bars for many more years than i would say it's worth it
Louis sighs
Louis:
What would Olivia think?
Zach doesn't answer, he looks down
Louis:
Yeah, that's what I thought
Zach sighs
Zach:
So what do you want me to do?
Louis:
I want you to go back to Olivia and stay there, I will have two of my guys watching you and if you think about even leaving the room, I will have you and your friend arrested for interfering with police work, you got that?
Zach nods his head
Louis:

Zach gets up and exits the station, his dad is waiting for him
he gets into Matt's car and rubs his head
Int. Matt's Car
Matt:
What happened?
Zach looks at his dad
Zach:
I think I just made things worse

Int. Jacob's Room
Jacob is sitting at his computer, watching the tracker when he notices it moving again
Jacob:
Where are you off to now, Brad
Cut To:
Brad is getting in the car, putting the gun, knife and money in the back
He sits in the car, thinking about what to do next
Brad (talking to himself):

He taps his finger on the wheel, he wants to get out of town but something is stopping him
it finally hits him, he starts the car and heads back into town

Jacob sees that he's coming back to town, he looks confused
Jacob:
Brad, what are you doing? just leave town

Int. Hospital Room
Zach is once again sitting with Olivia, a deputy is standing in the corner, Zach turns to him
Zach:
Excuse me, do you mind stepping out for a minute?
The deputy nods his head and steps out, Zach turns to Olivia
Olivia:
You did the right thing
Zach:
It doesn't feel like that
Olivia:
So, what are they going to do now?
Zach:
I wish I knew
Zach sighs and Olivia's phone rings on the table, she tries to reach for it but fails
Olivia:
Do you mind getting it?
Zach:
Of course
He walks over and picks up the phone, it says unknown but Zach recognizes the number
Zach:
It's my dad's number
Zach hands the phone to Olivia and she puts it on speaker
Olivia:
Hello?
Brad (V.O)(Sad Tone):
Hey, sis
Olivia's eyes widen, Zach looks out the window to see if anyone is out there
Olivia:

Brad:
How are you?
Olivia mouths "call Louis" to Zach
Olivia:
Well, considering the circumstances, I've been better
Brad:
I just wanted to say that I'm sorry, for everything
Olivia stops Zach, she wants to hear this
Brad:
I'm sorry for always yelling at you, chasing away every guy that wanted to date you, and Zach, I know your there, I'm sorry for what happened that day, I know that might not mean anything but i just wanted to get that off my chest
Olivia starts to tear up, she can tell that her brother really means it
Olivia:
Brad, you have to turn yourself in
Brad:
I-- I wish i could
Zach:
it's not too late, Brad
Brad:
Yes, I'm afraid it is
Olivia:
Brad...What are you planning?
Brad sighs
Brad:

Brad hangs up, Olivia starts to cry and Zach is standing, speechless by what he just heard

Olivia wipes her eyes

Zach walks to Olivia and hugs her, the deputy walks in and notices the tension in the room
Deputy:

Cut to:
Brad parks the car and approaches a house, HIS HOUSE and he puts the knife in his pants
he walks to the side of the house and climbs to his room and opens the window
he opens it and enters, his room is the same way as he left it, he walks in the hallway and goes downstairs, his breathe is trembling, hands shaking, he rounds the corner to see his dad on the couch, drinking
Int. Living Room - Afternoon
Brad:
Since when did you drink?
Eli lifts his head, clearly out of it
Eli:
Ever since your mother left, I didn't know how to deal with you and Olivia, so i drank but when you got older, i quit because you both needed a stable father
Brad:
Well, that turned out great didn't it?
Eli nods and sighs
Eli:
What are you doing here?
Brad:
I just wanted to see you
Eli laughs and stands up
Eli:
You know, you were always a pain in my ass when you were a kid
Brad:
you don't know what you're saying
Eli:
Oh, but i do, you see, your sister was better than you because she listened but you? You were just another thorn in my side that no matter how long it took to take out, you'll always stick right back on
Brad:

Eli:
the day you went to jail was one of the happiest days of my life, there was finally some sort of peace in this house, Olivia was happy, I was happy
Brad, almost baffled by what his father is saying
Eli:
But, when you broke out, I felt a sudden dread come upon me, I wasn't afraid you were gonna hurt someone until i got the call about Olivia
Brad is clenching the knife behind his back, ready to strike
Eli:
Then when i saw on the news that a deputy was killed, i was baffled, what happened to the annoying little shit that was a jackass to everyone he knew?
Brad grabs the knife from his pants amd STABS HIS FATHER IN THE STOMACH
Brad (yelling):
He Grew Up
Brad pushes the knife deeper, his father is shocked, Eli drops the glass cup and his knees buckle as Brad pulls the knife out amd stabs him again
Eli, looking his deranged son in his eyes, coughing up blood
Eli:
That's...my...boy
Eli puts his head down, he's dead, Brad pulls the knife out and kicks his father to the ground, his eye twitches
Brad walks out of the house, covered in his father's blood and he gets in the car and drives off
Cut To:
Int. Hospital Room - Night
Olivia is channel surfing on the TV, Zach is texting Jacob and he gets up in shock
Zach:
Oh my god
Olivia looks at Zach
Olivia:
What?
Zach:
Turn to channel 3
Olivia turns to Channel 3, a news reporter is in front of her house, she widens her eyes
Olivia:
No, No, No
She turns it up
News Reporter:
Earlier Today, Eli Moore, Father of Brad and Olivia Moore, was found dead in his home
Olivia gasps and begins to cry, Zach paces around the room, she turns the TV off, Zach walks to her and hugs her, she cries so hard as Zach holds her
