Fade In:
Int. Abandoned House - Night
Brad is standing in the bathroom, observing himself in the mirror, he turns on the sink to wash the blood off his hands, when he bends down to wash his face, he looks back in the mirror to see GUS, covered in blood, pale as a ghost
Gus:
What are you still doing here?
Brad:
just leave me alone
Gus:
They're going to find you, Brad, and they're probably going to kill you
Brad:
Shut up
Brad punches the mirror and it shatters, he looks in the shards and Gus is gone, blood is dripping from his hand, and he sits down, rocking back and forth
Cut To:
Int. Hospital Room - Night
It's Midnight, both Zach and Olivia are still awake, Zach looks tired while Olivia is wode awake, she notices that Zach is drowsy
Olivia:
You can go to bed, Zach
Zach:
No, No, I'm fine
Olivia:
Zach...
Zach:
I'm fine, Olivia, how are you holding up?
Olivia:
I'm still here
Zach:
It's going to be ok, Olivia
Olivia starts to tear up
Olivia:
I just don't know how I'm going to live without him, Zach
Zach:
I don't know if this will help, but when my mom died, my dad would tell me stories about her after he got drunk
Olivia:
How does that help?
Zach:
What I'm trying to say is-- the best way to cope with death is to think about the happy moments, how that person impacted your life or how they influenced you to become the person you are today, that's what my dad told me after he got out of rehab, never really knew what he meant until now
Olivia:

The day you got shot, when I saw you drop to the floor, I was terrified, I felt like my whole world just vanished in front of me
Zach starts to cry
Zach:
And when they wouldn't let me see you, I assumed the worst
Olivia rubs away her tears
Zach:
and since then, I promised myself to never leave your side until you got out of here, sitting here, waiting for you to wake up, that was my way of coping
Olivia:
So, what happens when I get out of here? I don't have anywhere to live
Zach grabs Olivia's hand
Zach:
We'll figure that out together
Olivia smiles as it fades to the sheriff's station
Int. Sheriff's Office - Night
Louis is working through files, the department is empty, he hears noises coming from the front entrance, he gets up and pulls out his gun, he goes to the front entrance and sees that the glass door is smashed, he turns around and sees a figure running into his office, he cautiously walks to the door, he opens it and finds nobody in there
he puts his gun back and right when he goes to sit back down, the figure lunges out of the closet and charges at Louis, wearing a white mask
Louis throws him into the wall and to the other side of the room, the figure tries to stab him but Louis catches it's arm and breaks it, the figure screams and Louis throws him into the window and it falls to the ground
when the figure tries to grab the knife, Louis kicks it away and turns the figure around on his back
Louis:
You have two seconds to tell me who the hell you are
The figure pulls off his mask, IT'S BRAD
Louis:
What the hell?
Brad:
I couldn't control it, he just comes out
Louis is confused, he doesn't know if he should trust Brad or just kick his teeth in
Louis:
What are you talking about?
Brad:
The voice in my head, he told me that I was weak and that he was the superior one
Louis:
You're speaking nonsense
Brad:
Please, I'll turn myself in and I'll tell you everything you want to know
Louis is baffled, he picks Brad up and takes him to the interrogation room

Int. Hospital Room - Morning
The Doctor walks in and sees Zach and Olivia sleeping, she nudges Zach and he wakes up
Doctor:
Sorry to wake you
Zach:
No, No, it's fine, I'm just glad she's asleep
Doctor:
Do you mind if i speak to you outside?
Zach nods and follows the doctor outside, she closes the door behind her
Zach:
what did you want to talk about, doc?
Doctor:
I just wanted to let you know that Olivia will be able to leave the hospital today
Zach:
That's great
Doctor:
I know it's none of my business, but does she have a place to stay?
Zach:
Yeah, she does
Doctor:
That's great, you two can leave whenever she wakes up
Zach:

Doctor:

Zach enters Olivia's Room and sits down

Int. Interrogation Room - Morning
Brad is sitting at the table, Louis is sitting across from him, sipping a coffee
Louis:
so, what do you mean by the voice in your head?
Brad:
It's hard to explain, everytime I try to control it, I just hear yelling and it's like I get possessed by something
Louis:
So, the voice in your head, killed your father
Brad:
I know it sounds crazy, but you gotta believe me, I went to therapy for years and it did nothing but made it worse
Louis:
I can't put that in a report, Brad, I need something else
Brad:
I don't know what you want me to do, I can't just prove it
Louis:
What usually triggers it?
Brad:
I wish I knew, when I get angry, I black out and wake up the next day not remembering a damn thing
Louis realizes and scoffs
Louis:

Brad feels a tingle, his hand is shaking

Brad faints and Louis waits, Brad lifts his head and has a smile on his face, he starts laughing hysterically

Louis:

Kevin:
Yes, Brad was too much of a pussy to do it himself so I took matters into my own hands

A big EXPLOSION happens, Louis falls out of the chair as Kevin drops the button, he breaks through the handcuffs and walks up to Louis, who is dazed
Kevin:
Don't worry, Sheriff, I'll make sure you get a hero's death
Kevin kicks Louis in the face, knocking him out
