KINGDOM HEARTS: PAINFUL EXIT
Ep.1: Remobilize
We are in the office of Hiruzen Sarutobi 3 hours before the Chunin Exams Final match, 3 ninja messengers enter the office through the doorway.
" I gave no permission for anyone to enter my office."
" We came to inform you of your incompetence Lord Hokage." - Said the ninja in the center.
" You dare speak to your Hokage in this manner?"
" Cut that threatening language even your authority has limits especially when you fuck up. You failed to stop Orochimaru you could have postponed the tournament for 3 more weeks, but in your attempt to display the worth of our Slave Soldier Program Orochimaru got his hands on Sasuke's body. We're lucky it was just the Uchiha that he wanted he could have taken that Hyuga boy too. We have almost no defense against that bloodline trait. We hope you have a contingency plan cause the council is considering this as 2 strikes on your record." - Said the ninja on the right.
Another ninja appears outside the Hokage's office.
" Permission to enter Lord Hokage?"
" You 3 can go about your business."
" We're staying to hear this message the council is very concerned about your administration's competence." -Said the ninja on the left.
" Report your message." - Hiruzen commanded.
" We've located and disarmed Orochimaru's bombs only 2 of them were real."
" Seems your teachings are going to doom our reputation." - The ninja in the center mocked.
The 3rd Hokage surrounded his hand with an orange claw-shaped energy field and slashed his mocker's throat.
" Send his family a basket of oranges and give them a plaque thanking him for having the "courage" to speak truth to power." - The 3rd Hokage said to the more respectful ninja messenger.
" Yes Lord Hokage."
" As for you 2 it would be healthy for you to silently go back to your homes and find religion especially one that magnifies your statesmen as justified before all creation." - The 3rd Hokage suggested.
The ninja left the room as Hiruzen contemplated his next move. The next day we see Shikamaru, and his sensei Asuma head to the Hokage's office where they meet not only Hiruzen but Kakashi, Gai, and Kurenai.
" Shikamaru Nara for outstanding cleverness and strategic dominance against your opponent I Hiruzen Sarutobi The 3rd Hokage award you the title of Chunin."
The Jonin clapped their hands with true respect and admiration.
" Thank you Lord Hokage." -Shikamaru said in a nervous tone.
" The ceremony will be held tomorrow as with every year an outstanding surviving slave soldier will present your medal and combat vest."
The 3rd Hokage looks at Kakashi.
" Remember to instruct Sora in these procedures Kakashi."
" Yes Lord Hokage." - He said with an upbeat tone.
" You seem happy Kakashi did you get a personalized copy of Make-Out Violence equipped with a VHS depicting reenactments of the "romantic" moments?"
" No sir."
" Good cause all visitation and contact with that embarrassment is forbidden till December 28th."
" Yes Lord Hokage."
The next day we are at an auditorium where Sora in a red tuxedo is holding a pillow with Shikamaru's medal. He maintains a smile filled with false respect.
" ( These bastards expect me to reward some smug quitter how much more of my dignity will they take? I'll live for you Kairi as well as my freedom.)"
" The Leaf Village is proud to reward our most outstanding rookie with a promotion from Genin to Chunin. With this promotion comes the responsibility of leadership do not take it lightly for the consequence of authority is great expectations, and accountability. So please be an effective ninja Shikamaru for untrustworthiness or incompetence in small matters translates to failure in more severe matters. I present you the medal and the vest bring them honor not just through strategy but also loyalty to The Leaf Village."
Shikamaru vertically nods his head vowing to uphold the ideals of his village. The 3rd Hokage signals Sora with his hand to present Shikamaru with his medal. As Sora placed the medal around the true Chunin's neck he gave Shikamaru some quiet words.
" You don't deserve this promotion I won through actual effort you merely mocked your second opponent and quit out of boredom." - Sora whispered.
" Your dismissal just reveals you to be an idiotic barbarian, and besides the ninja village wasn't grading slaves on their intellect they were just removing excess fat." - Shikamaru retorted.
" If you were pitted against me you'd be split from your waist."
" You wouldn't even reach me. You should just be thankful that you were spared from a humiliating demise."
Sora composed himself and returned to his fake smile handing Shikamaru his combat vest as people take photographs.
" Who does that bastard think he is talking to Shikamaru like that?" - Ino cursed.
" Well he did win his matches against Sasuke, Neji, and Kankuro through direct combat." - Choji responded.
" Don't support Sasuke's killer infront of me Choji." - Ino threatened.
" I'm not...I'm just learning from Shikamaru's example on being objective."
" I swear can you guys be quiet I'm trying to enjoy this new cigarette." - Asuma complained.
" Sorry sensei." - The 2 genin said in unison.
" Considering you idiots failed to beat your opponents you shouldn't even be at this party you should be training to make up for your failures the ninja life isn't this forgiving or did you forget how your brothers in arms died in that class room?"
" No sensei." - They said in unison.
" ( Mark my words Sora I'll send you to hell for killing Sasuke.)" - Ino mentally vowed.
One hour and 58 minutes later Sora is in his cell sitting on his bed.
" ( Riku I wish we had planned an escape but these bastards are too crafty they would have killed me on the spot with their device maybe I can break it off I doubt these guys are that advanced in terms of developing durable restraints if I could just use my Ragnarok technique on the neck brace when no one is looking I could escape and cut these bastards in to meat ribbons.)"
Suddenly through the intercom.
" All Chunin and ninja with atleast 4 years of experience are to report to the assembly station! Repeat: All Chunin and ninja with at least 4 years of experience are to report to the assembly station."
" Hey Sora you might be a Vice Chunin but you're going to this assembly." - A female security ninja alerted.
" Okay."
" I didn't give you permission to speak you little punk."
Sora just equipped his prison shoes apathetic to the ninja's offended emotional state. The ninja escorted Sora to the assembly station where he sees Hiruzen on a stage while Kakashi, Gai, Hiashi, a black-haired woman in a blue and green striped bodysuit with dark blue pauldrons, and a blonde male in an orange and black clown suit stand in front with their hands behind their backs.
" My fellow Ninja of the Leaf during the Chunin Exams the treasonist and the current illegitimate leader of the Sound Village Orochimaru interfered with the Forest of Death challenge to control one of our brothers in arms Sasuke Uchiha just so he could obtain his clan's bloodline trait. Though his 1st strategy was repulsed he and his forces managed to kill several bystanders in order to observe and distract the Leaf Village during the finals all so he could steal Sasuke's corpse. This deluded serpent has harmed us for the last time it's time we impaled this serpent with the sword of justice."
" ( You monsters brought this on yourself. If you teach someone that deception is the ultimate path you lose the right to be angry when they betray you.)" - Sora mentally commented.
" I've already selected the teams for deployment please look at the bulletin boards to locate your assigned squad leader and line up in front of them."
Sora went to the bulletin board and sees he's once again assigned to Kakashi.
" Great." - Sora said in a sarcastic tone.
Sora lined up infront of Kakashi behind him were the academy teacher Iruka, and the man who imprisoned him in this ninja-centric world Rei.
" ( This squad has 2 weak links but I imagine one will shatter like weak glass crashing into stone.)" - Kakashi speculated.
Sora noticed that the other squads had much longer lines.
" ( We must be an infiltration unit.)" - Sora speculated.
" Now that we have assembled it is time to follow your squad leaders You are dismissed."
" Sora go get your equipment and meet me in classroom 13."
" Yes ."
Sora equipped his usual battle attire along with the battle equipment he used during his match with Kankuro and went to Classroom 13.
" Try to move at a quicker pace Sora we have a deadline to meet."
Sora vertically shakes his head.
" Okay gentlemen were going to the Sound Village's neighboring city Hirame by train once there we'll wait 2 days and regroup with Hiashi's squad in the forest surrounding the enemy village."
" Are there any noteworthy ninja that we should be on the lookout for?" - Iruka asked.
" Last year 13 ninja from the Sand Village were slain by an Archer rumored to be a defector from the Mist Village."
" Wait are you talking about the Cone Snail of the Tundra?" - Rei speculated.
" No Asuma killed him 2 weeks ago before the finals and he was a retarded patriot to the Mist village this might be a student or a distant relative regardless this guy is known for keeping enemy ninja out. The Sound Village is known for their aggression but don't dismiss them as all bark and no bite, their barks can send you to the grave."
Sora raised his hand.
" You had a question Sora?"
" What are the standard jutsu and weapons of the Sound Village?"
" The Sound Village use the same standard issue weaponry in addition to body modification, echo gauntlets, and musical instruments or did you forget about your fight with that trumpeter?"
" No."
" As for jutsu expect a lot of auditory ninjutsu and genjutsu. Any other questions?"
" Why am I being sent on this mission so early into my promotion?"
" Because you're a slave and we'll kill you if you defy us. Now let's head to the train station."
The quartet exited the Leaf Village at 8:35 PM they quickly hopped a fence and snuck into a cargo car.
" Hard to believe someone as dumb as you beat my students."
" ( You'll pay for handing me over to these monsters Rei hopefully with your decapitated skull.)" - Sora thought.
Meanwhile in a Sound Village laboratory we see the pale-skinned Orochimaru without his gorilla mask analyzing Sasuke's corpse.
" The curse seal was removed? How did that weakling Kakashi do it?"
" What seems to be the problem Lord Orochimaru?" - Kabuto asked.
" Kakashi sabotaged my plan to enslave the Uchiha-boy he purified the Curse Seal. That Ansem-guy was aware of this just by looking at Sasuke from a distance."
" Did it have to do with that Alabaster Phoenix technique?"
" That technique is usually used to sacrifice people or objects but it might have connections to light-based magic."
" Maybe that's the antidote."
" Light-based magic shouldn't have this effect only destructive and illusionary capabilities not purification that's just religious foolishness."
" Or perhaps purification is the illusion." - Kabuto speculated.
" An interesting theory."
" So what are your plans for Sasuke's corpse?" - Kabuto inquired.
" Most likely I'm going to revive him and replicate his mutant powers into my body."
" The Leaf Village isn't going to be too happy about you stealing their prized asset what are your orders?"
" Just use defense protocol S19, relay that to the troops."
" Yes Lord Orochimaru." - Kabuto saluted and body flickered to carry out his Superior's command.
3 Hours later at a train station in Hirame we see Sora and his superiors prepare to exit their stowaway car as Iruka places a strange clay-like object on a wall he was leaning against as Sora, Kakashi and Rei had their heads turned.
" All right the path is clear." -Kakashi confirmed.
Kakashi transformed into a balding brown-haired man in a blue business suit, Iruka changed into a 12 year old blonde-haired female with pigtails in an orange and blue track suit, while Rei turned into a middle-aged woman in grey business attire.
" All right kids we're going to the Red November hotel."
Sora and his superiors reach the hotel after a 53 minute walk and talked to a desk clerk.
" Good evening. Welcome to Red November are you staying this evening?"
" Yes I'd like 2 rooms we'll be staying here for 2 days."
" All right fill out this application."
Kakashi gave his signature he then payed the clerk and was given 2 room keys he handed the other to Rei.
" Enjoy your stay ."
" Come along children."
" Yes Daddikins." - Iruka said in a gleeful tone.
" Uhhh." - Kakashi sighed in a stress-filled tone.
The quartet reached their room entrances.
" Sora you'll be waiting with Rei don't cross him or me. Got it?"
" Yes ."
" ( It seems Sora's self-preservation instinct has made him more obedient to my commands but I don't take kindly to those who would kill their own allies to save their own lives, such selfishness will be repaid Sora and with the authorization of The Third Hokage.)" - Kakashi mentally declared.
The quartet split into 2 duos and entered their separate hotel rooms deactivating their transformation-jutsus, as night fell Sora looked at the paintings on the walls one contained a picture of a floating Silver eyeball engaged in a beam struggle with a black European-style dragon equipped with a purple belly and purple membranes on the wings, the eyeball projected a crimson beam while the dragon projected a stream of lime-colored fire.
" Don't be too impressed with that picture Sora it's a copy of a 7th grade dropout who couldn't even utilize his artistry for covert ops."
" You're not even criticizing the artist's technique."
" Like you have the intellect to criticize art."
" ( I have more intellect than your students.) - Sora mentally retorted.
" That's right boil with rage boy cause your surrounded by overseers who could slit your throat 200 ways to Sunday just one more sentence of back talk and you'll get an eternal detention." - Rei threatened.
Meanwhile in Kakashi's room Kakashi is reading a copy of Laser Moths Wrath of The Gryphon Crystal while Iruka looks at the stars from a balcony as he is observed by a gecko sticking on a wall. The gecko crawls down one floor below Kakashi's room and while on the ceiling it enters the room below as a Hotel Janitor grabs the creature.
" So what did you find out?"
" Scriss!" - The lizard hissed.
" Leafers?" A grey-haired man of about 25 and a slightly younger man with brown hair and tanned skin, a scarred, brown haired slave-boy with a zippered onesy and a ninja in a dark red sweater Skraahh. Thank you Saito now go about your business." - The "janitor" whispered.
The Hotel Janitor entered his supply closet and used a headset to contact a communication center within the Sound Village.
" That ninja with grey hair can only be Kakashi what kind of stratagem are they using against our village?"- The janitor speculated.
" The Were-leech is powered by yellow flames." - The contact said in a poetic tone.
" But only when the sun glows gold."
" You are approved."
" I have a message for Lord Orochimaru. The Leaf Village ninja Kakashi has been spotted at the Red November he's in a squad with 2 other ninja and a scarred brown-haired slave boy."
" Message recorded it shall be sent to Orochimaru immediately breaking contact."
The communication officer contacts Orochimaru's office through a computer It rings 2 times but Kabuto picks it up.
" This is Kabuto Yakushi I've been authorized to receive high-level messages on Lord Orochimaru's behalf."
" A Genin doesn't have that authority get Lord Orochimaru now."
" He ordered me to look out for his political work."
" Fine. I'm sending you the message."
Kabuto activated the recorded message.
" I have a message for Lord Orochimaru The Leaf Village ninja Kakashi has been spotted at the Red November he's in a squad with 2 other ninja and a scarred, brown-haired slave boy."
" Thank you I'll inform Lord Orochimaru."
The call ended and Kabuto reached Orochimaru's lab.
" Lord Orochimaru?"
" Yes my Herald?"
" Our surveilance operatives have spotted Kakashi with a squad made of 2 ninja and a scarred brown-haired slave boy at the Red November Hotel."
" So the Leaf must be using Kakashi to bait me but I have a counter measure for this. We'll illegalize the Leaf Village with visual evidence. If they're actions result in the destruction of property and/or the injury or death of police officers or honest citizens in a protected city the Fire Daimyo will disenfranchise them and make it a war crime for anyone to even do business them this will financially starve them."
" How are you going to trick Kakashi's team into causing casualties or damage?"
" Simple I'll use the operative I've stationed in Hirame's police force."
Orochimaru snipped off a few strands of hair from Sasuke's corpse and resealed the body into a scroll. He then accessed a crystal ball.
" Kabuto keep me updated on any security issues."
" Yes Lord Orochimaru."
Kabuto saluted and body flickered to oversee security details. Orochimaru activated his crystal with a sequence of hand signs causing it to radiate a purple aura.
" Crystal ball bring me into contact with Seiryu Saikuron."
Cut over to a police station we see a male officer with blue hair in a Caesar cut filling out papers he notices an orb show an image of the pale-skinned man.
" Seiryu I have an important mission for you."
" How shall I be of service Lord Orochimaru?"
" Kakashi and a squad made up of 2 ninja and a slave have been spotted at the Red November startle them and get them to injure some bystanders make sure you get some pictures as well."
" Yes Lord Orochimaru."
We cut over to to Kakashi's room as we see Iruka with a mentally exhausted expression he then smiled as he reaches for a device in his pocket and presses it causing an explosion on the train car his team stowed away in killing 7 maintenance workers.
" What was that?" - Kakashi said as he put down his book.
" Obviously an explosion."
" Iruka did you have something to do with that explosion?"
" Heh-heh-heh. Of course Kakashi. Heh-heh-heh-heh!"
" Why?"
" I used to think the Leaf Village had values but after you bastards lied to your own soldiers & citizens and made me kill Naruto you deserve to be sabotaged."
" Lied about what?"
" The Third Hokage lied about the Kyubi being sealed into Naruto, he is the man who holds the creature."
" And that's your excuse for treachery?" - Kakashi asked in a calm tone before pouncing upon Iruka he then strangled him.
" OCCCCCCH! Hehhhhhh! Kawg!" - Iruka gasped as he suffocated.
Iruka was no more and Kakashi sealed his body within a scroll. He then contacted Rei and Sora through their headsets.
" Rei, Sora... Iruka betrayed us be on guard it's very possible he may have defected to the Sound Village."
" Did he have a reason?" - Rei asked.
" The emotional twit is just mad that the Hokage made him execute a former student of his."
" Wait you mean that traitor who vandalized monuments?"
" Yeah."
" Iruka always lacked the hardness required of a ninja he let his parents death get to him just like that pink-eyed mutant."
" That pink-eyed mutant was the top rookie of the leaf village and from what I remember he beat your students."
" Yet he lost to Sora a boy who doesn't even count as a ninja, but hey I have an eye for spotting talent."
" I guess kicking your students ass counts as having talent."
" ( I wonder where Kairi is?)" - Sora pondered.
" Lets pretend to get some sleep Sora as a reward for your behavior I'll allow you 4 hours of sleep so use it now."
" Yes sir." - Sora responded.
Sora went to sleep and was awakened 4 hours later by Rei.
" Morning." - Sora greeted.
" Hmph." - Rei reacted.
Meanwhile at the train station police are examining the wrecked train car. Seiryu examines a strange metallic, cube-shaped device with a leaf village emblem and some residual clay on the left face of the object.
" Those bastards used a miniature chakra bomb on a civilian transport vehicle."
Seiryu picks up the detonated bomb with tongs he then has a dog sniff the explosive and 4 police officers follow Seiryu to the Red November. On top of a sky-scraper near the train station a man cloaked in a trench coat observes Seiryu with binoculars.
" All the players have been readied."
The police officers enter the hotel building.
" Two of you guard the doors, No one gets in no one gets out." - Seiryu commanded.
" Sir yes sir!"
Outside the building the trench coat wearing man appears on a separate roof top facing the side of the building the Leaf Village Operatives were stationed. The police arrive at Sora and Rei's room and Seiryu knocks on the door.
" (Crud.)" - Rei mentally complained.
Sora silently gestured to Rei if he should answer the door.
" This is the police! Open up!"
Rei shakes his head vertically and transformed into an end table. Sora opened the door and was met by Seiryu and 2 officers armed with longbows aimed at Sora's scarred face.
" I'm with the Hirame police department what are you doing here?"
" I'm on vacation with my teachers and ."
" Holy crap Lieutenant he's one of those Slaves." - Saikuron's subordinate said pointing at Sora's neck brace.
" Where are your overseers boy?"
" They went out."
" All right boy come with us or we'll send you to hell looking like a pin cushion!"
" Okay." - Sora replied.
Sora complied and Rei immediately deactivated his transformation-jutsu and hurled 2 kunai at the necks of the subordinate officers destroying them.
" I suggest you walk away and forget what you've seen officer." - Rei threatened with a kodachi pointed at Seiryu.
The 2 officers who were guarding the entrance door arrived at Sora and Rei's location and fired at Rei backing him and Sora in to the hotel room.
" Sir we came as you ordered."
Cut over to Sora and Rei's position.
" Did you really think I would let you go with those policemen?"
" It was a ruse."
The subordinate officers fired their arrows at Sora who deflected them by guarding with his longsword killing them, however he is unaware of the man in the trench coat taking pictures of the killing with his binoculars.
" Great job moron now you've made us killers."
" I'm sorry."
Out in the hallway Seiryu conjures an acoustic guitar from a scroll he then points the tip at the Agents of the Leaf like a rifle.
" Don't be... I'll just play you your funeral dirge!" - Seiryu yelled as an energy orb projects from the tip and rammed Sora and Rei out a window.
Rei gained a second wind and directionally influenced his body to back flip as he impaled the wall with his kodachi stopping his fall while Sora crash landed back first on to the roof of a moving truck cab.
" Urgh."
Seiryu in pursuit of Sora runs after the truck and climbs on the cab with chakra generated from his feet as Sora is ready to meet him in battle.
" So you're a Slave from the Leaf Village tell me is it true that they make you guys battle against academy students to get access to drinking water."
" That must be the Grass Village I don't think the Leaf Village has considered that training method." - Sora responded as he ran towards Seiryu.
Sora got within striking distance and slashed at Seiryu but he evaded the attack. Sora attacks with 4 more sword swings but Seiryu smiles as he dodges every attempt.
" Pathetic."
Seiryu attempts to kick Sora but he dodges by jumping back towards the rear edge of the truck cab maintaining his usual battle stance as he readies his shot-lock to full power.
" I could say the same about your accuracy as well ." - Sora mocked.
Sora's shot-lock maximized and the adversaries unleashed their respective projectiles blasting each other on to the road causing multiple cars to crash as they attempted to avoid Sora and Seiryu. Sora recovered.
" Fugh! I should have blocked more quickly. EGH."
" Damn you. UHHHH." -Seiryu fainted.
" Now...Egh...to get some answers."
Suddenly Seiryu's image faded away revealing Sora had blasted an elderly bystander.
" An old woman? There doesn't seem to be any affiliation marks on her clothing."
Cut to the man in the trench coat we see him gasping for air as he photographed Sora's battle with the old woman.
" That... slave... was able to project a beam of...of chakra? (Cough.)"
The man heads into an empty room in the building he was standing on and contacts Orochimaru through a crystal ball.
" Orochimaru I've photographed Kakashi's subordinates they managed to kill 4 cops and injured 5-10 civilians and damaged vehicles."
" Good job Seiryu get those pictures to the police as fast as you can."
" Yes Lord Orochimaru."
Orochimaru breaks contact.
