Ep.2: Rendezvous
Sora hears a rumbling of foot steps and tries to run to safety only to to be encircled by cops aiming longbows at his body.
" Don't move or you're gonna be a modern art painting."
" Dang it."
Suddenly a police officer dashed towards Sora on his right side and lifted him at a swift speed as arrows pelted the street.
" Darn it. Go after them."
Cut over to Sora's position we see Kakashi deactivating his transformation leaping from roof to roof.
" Thanks ."
" Shut up Sora." - Kakashi dismissed.
The 2 operatives reached an abandoned apartment complex and encountered Rei as they entered a dark room.
" Thanks to your nervous reflex boy our village could be in grave danger." - Rei whispered.
" Rei don't worry the village will distribute a proper punishment to Sora when we regroup at the Forest." -Kakashi whispered.
" ( Damn sadist.)" - Sora mentally insulted.
" Let's just stay here till tomorrow. Sora since you're our weakest link you'll be the lookout."
" Sir yes sir." - Sora said in a disingenuous tone.
" Speak to me with sarcasm again and I'll slice your feet from your legs."
" Understood. (One of these days I'll gore you Kakashi.)" - Sora pondered.
" Squad Leader Kakashi what's your theory on how that untrained civilian was able to use ninja techniques with such efficiency?" - Rei inquired.
" I've heard horror stories about a possession technique called The Radio Phantom Pulse it allows the user to turn their target into a zombie-like doppelganger it was used by the Rain, Vortex and Sound Villages to frame enemy ninja for criminal offenses. Orochimaru and his team mates witnessed the technique back when they were rookies. According to that Snake the technique is superior to the Mind Transfer Jutsu due to the fact that no physical damage is shared between the bodies instead telepathic control is inflicted upon the target but exhaustion will occur if they use too much chakra which the technique requires anyway."
The next day Kakashi's squad sped to their destination with Sora piggy-backing Kakashi.
Eventually they encountered Hiashi Hyuga.
" The stars burn all vampires..." - Hiashi said at random.
" Except for the leaves." - Kakashi responded.
" You may proceed to The Hokage's tent." - Hiashi confirmed.
The 4 operatives reached a camp where they encountered Hiruzen, standing behind them was the black haired woman in the blue and green striped bodysuit.
" Good our vengeance shall soon be achieved now that one of our most important weapons is here." - Hiruzen said with wicked glee.
" ( Son of a gun that evil geezer was looking at me when he said weapons.)" - Sora thought as he slightly shivered with fear.
" It seems Sora is excited for his next assignment." - Hiruzen joked.
Sora composed himself.
" Try to contain that bloodthirst Vice Chunin cause this assignment requires your obedience to the letter. Sora your personal assignment is to peacefully gain an audience with Orochimaru and offer yourself to the sound village in exchange for Sasuke's body. If he refuses our terms we will destroy this village. Here is the letter hand it over to the guards if they demand to see it."
Sora raises his hand after placing the letter in his left pocket. The Hokage vertically shakes his head once.
" Lord Hokage what if the Sound Ninja try to kill me on site."
" Then you'll die. Any other questions?"
" Why did you originally declare that you were going to execute Orochimaru?"
" You're such an observant soldier Sora but you're not authorized for such information. Now Megumi please prepare our weapon for his assignment." -Hiruzen commanded in a dismissive tone.
The female ninja restrained Sora and injected a syringe into his body.
" Egh. What did you inject in to my body?"
" Our key to victory. Kakashi take him to the drop off point."
" Yes Lord Hokage."
The Jonin grabbed Sora and body flickered to a tree branch he then hurled Sora at the ground.
" Ugh."
" Do your job and do it right. Head down the path that you see before you."
Sora obeyed after struggling to his feet and wiping the dirt from his face. Sora walked for 8 minutes only to end up activating a small cube-shaped device attached to a pole it then unleashed a high-pitched sound that caused Sora pain.
" Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Angry at his pain he thrusts his sword at the device destroying it he then became more exhausted as he progressed.
Cut over to the Hokage's tent.
" Kakashi what happened to Iruka?"
" Lord Hokage Iruka betrayed us by setting off explosives in the train we were hiding in after we got to the Red November. I have his corpse inside this scroll."
" So the city of Hirame is aware of our presence?"
" Yes Lord Hokage."
" Damn it Kakashi those Sound bastards might alert the authorities to disenfranchise our village. You better hope Sora accomplishes his mission otherwise you're going to suffer 2 hours of electrocution." - He says as his face mutates to display the head of the Nine-tailed Fox.
Kakashi clenches his fist.
" Just for clenching your fist I'll increase your punishment to 3 hours."
Kakashi falls on his knees.
" Please forgive my incompetence and disrespect Lord Hokage."
The Hokage's face reverts back to normal.
" You might get forgiveness Kakashi but I offer it at a high price."
Megumi smiles at Kakashi's misfortune.
Cut back to the forest.
" What did those abusive cowards inject into my bloodstream? Got to stay alive got to find Kairi."
Sora dismissed his sword and continued and reached the front gate after 20 minutes of walking, there 2 ninja stood in surveillance.
" (Just go in through the front door Sora you can do this.)" - Sora thought silently encouraging himself.
Sora approached the guard on his left.
" Halt!" - Both guards yelled as they exploded into smoke.
Within seconds they surrounded him with wakizashi aimed at his neck from both sides.
" Identify yourself!"
"My name is Sora I'm a Slave of The Leaf Village I seek an audience with Orochimaru. (cough.) to grant him a chance for continued peace."
" Prove it."
" There's a letter for your boss from the Hokage in my left pocket."
" Any tricks and we'll kill you."
" Do that and you'll face destruction." - Sora warned.
The Sound Ninja check his letter. He then activated a walkie talkie.
" This is Rattlesnake 1 to Orochimaru a slave has been sent to seek an audience with you he has a letter with the Hokage's seal."
" Take him to the negotiation room." - The Albinistic Serpent commanded.
" Yes Lord Orochimaru."
" Looks like you'll get your audience after all boy." - Rattlesnake 1 declared.
The security ninja gestured to his subordinate and he signaled for another ninja to replace his superior using a button on his wristwatch. Sora followed Rattlesnake 1 into a red-carpeted room with European-esque furnishings as well as statues of eighth notes and a cadeuceus emblem on the wall. Sora takes a seat as the pale-skinned Orochimaru entered the room. Sora saw his wicked expression and tried to restrain his fear.
" So you're The Leaf's messenger they've must have grown more cowardly since I last visited the place."
" ( That voice... it's the same as that monster who cast a genjutsu on my mind back in the Forest of Death.)"
" You look like you've heard the prediction of your own demise Sora. Try to be a little more optimistic." - Orochimaru mocked.
Sora tried to maintain a serious and confident expression.
" ( He might try to kill me.)" - Sora thought as he became more anxious.
" Heheheh! Let's read that letter of yours."
Orochimaru opens the envelope with a letter opener designed with a white handle and a pattern of purple musical notes he then unfolds the message.
" ( Dear Orochimaru I offer you one last chance for peace between our villages return Sasuke Uchiha's corpse and we will spare your ant-hill of a village as a consolation I offer you Sora to do with as you please but only after we receive Sasuke's corpse will we grant you access to Sora's discipline device. You have until 8:00 PM to submit to our demands.) Are you kidding me I have access to a human, mystical Philosopher's Stone and your superiors expect me to give that up. HAHAHAHA! "
" Well that's their offer Orochimaru."
" Talk to me with disrespect again boy and I'll impale your throat."
Sora remained silent as a he felt his temperature increase beyond it's usual average.
" Please forgive my rudeness . (Cough!) May I please have some water."
" You will address me as..as.. (Cough!) Lord. (That boy must be contagious.)"
Suddenly segments of Orochimaru's skin gained a blue stripe pattern.
" You using some kind of genjutsu Orochi...boy?' ( Cough! 3x)"
" Awwwk!" - Orochimaru yelled as his body boiled.
Orochimaru tried to run at Sora only to faint a few inches from his chair as he hit the floor, Sora tried to escape but his sickness overwhelmed him and like his enemy before him he fainted as well.
" My my Orochimaru you're usually more cautious than this, too bad that was your last chance for mercy." - The Hokage mocked through an audio device built into Sora's neck brace.
Cut over to the outskirts of the Sound Village walls a volley of explosives and arrows hit the buildings killing civilians and ninja alike.
" AHHHHHHHH!"
Leaf Ninja scaled the walls and leaped out of the infrastructure attacking the citizens of The Sound. The Sound Ninja fought back as the Village became a blazing warzone. One Genin wearing a red shirt and black pants with 4 Sound village emblems on each leg bit his thumb and performed a sequence oh hand signs to summon 2 organic tendrils resembling centipede antennae from the ground he then commanded the appendages to impale 4 Leaf Ninja.
" GAAAAH!"
Hiashi swiftly dealt with the Genin by using a dashing Palm strike that blasted him into the side of a building.
" Leave no survivors!" - Hiashi rallied.
Cut back to the negotiation room hallway we see Kabuto getting attacked by 3 Leaf ninja who rush at him but he slays them quickly with a single slash from his curved scalpels to each of their necks.
" Flipping amateurs."
Kabuto procures their kunais and wallets he then enters the negotiation room.
" So how did negotiations go?... Holy crap what the hell happened to you?!"
Kabuto analyzed his leader's body.
" Uhhhh." - Orochimaru moaned.
" Blue stripe-like markings, high body-temperature? Crud this is an early stage of Navy-Stripe Fever. He only has weeks to live if he doesn't restrain the sickness. I can't believe those bastards resorted to germ warfare."
Kabuto feeds Orochimaru a pill to weaken the illness. He then sealed Orochimaru in a scroll and exited out of the government building. Kabuto proceeded to dash away only to run into Kakashi who intercepts him with a hard right punch that forced him to backflip just to prevent himself from falling.
" Ooogh!"
" I was looking for my slave when suddenly I ran in to the coward who was too scared to fight his team mate. Kabuto Yakushi. Where's Orochimaru?!"
" On top of the 4th Hokage's monument."
" Wrong answer."
Suddenly a Corridor of Darkness rose from the ground behind Kabuto and released the Interloper Ansem.
" Mind if I help?" - The Seeker of Darkness offered.
" Whatever."
Kabuto attempts to jet off but Kakashi zooms towards his foe but Ansem immediately intercepts the Leaf Ninja with a Dark Firaga projected from his sleeve sending Kakashi to his back.. Kabuto successfully dashed away to avoid his pursuer.
" You...ugh... just made a big mistake Wizard." - Kakashi declared as Firefield from the Super Smash Bros Brawl Ost played in the background.
" Fool I am the master of all Heartless." - He says as he summons 3 Invisible-Type Heartless with a mere gesture of his cloaked hands.
Ansem then encases his foe and minions within a wide dome of orange energy.
" ( He didn't even need to perform Hand Signs his techniques seem similar to that Slave from the Sand Village.)"
" Tonight this Ninja World will fall to darkness and become a very useful addition to my Heartless Horde."
Kakashi avoids the Invisibles as they slash with their azure blades and clashes with said blades using his kunai 6 times. Kakashi gets locked into a weapon struggle with one of the Invisibles and notices the other 2 trying to double-team him with lunging thrusts but they halt their flight to avoid self-destruction. Kakashi takes a crouched stance but as the creatures orbit the ninja they eventually float into a straight line and Kakashi dashes through them with a single kunai slash to their stomachs destroying them. Ansem enters his energy dome through a corridor of darkness.
" I suggest you remember what happens to evil wizards in those movies you watch they tend to get killed." - Kakashi mocked.
" Killing the Heartless does not stop their onslaught nor mine." - Ansem says crossing his arms.
Ansem dashes at Kakashi while surrounded by a blue energy field pressing him against the dome's inner-wall only to see him escape with a substitution-jutsu that left a log. Ansem turns and hovers towards Kakashi.
" It hasn't even been 5 minutes and you resort to using a substitution like a common Genin."
As Ansem turns his back the log morphs into Kakashi with a readied Alabaster Phoenix he dashes towards the shadowy figure's back.
" I'm gonna submerge you and your retarded allies into the abyss." - Ansem declared.
Kakashi reached striking distance as he swiped his hand a floating black demon-like heartless rose from a portal on the floor and uppercutted Kakashi's jawline with a fist surrounded by dark energy.
" Gahhgh."
Kakashi crashed head-first into the dome's inner wall and fell on his back entering unconsciousness.
" You're too stupid to match wits with me Kakashi."
Cut over to Kabuto's position we see him head down a secluded alleyway only to be pinned down by Rei's feet knocking him out.
" Sorry boy but this is going to become the Silent Village in a few hours." - Rei says as he thrusts his kodachi at Kabuto's skull only to get burned by streams of blue fire simultaneously projected from the shields of 5 Guardian-Type Heartless.
" GYAHHHHH!"
One of the Guardians taps on Kabuto's head.
" Unh." - Kabuto grunted.
" Okay who the hell are you guys?" - Kabuto demanded as he grabbed the Guardian's neck threatening him with his Chakra Scalpel.
The creature remained silent.
" Not gonna answer me huh?"
Kabuto slew the Guardian in a single thrust to the head. The creature's brethren however make hand gestures for him to go forward.
" ( I better be on guard these creatures might just be looking for the right opening.)" -Kabuto mentally speculated.
