Ep.3: The Dark Seeker's Scheme
We see Ansem blast Kakashi 5 times with his Dark Firaga spell he then commanded his personal familiar to elbow drop Kakashi in the face putting him in a deeper coma. He then headed into the negotiations room and sees Sora's unhealthy body crawling on the floor.
" What? It's you. How did you get here?" -Sora said as his body struggles through sickness.
" Obviously the same way I entered your worthless island boy."
" Please get me some water."
" Why would I ever sustain such a failure?"
" Please I'll... serve you."
" You're already dying from sickness. Besides I don't want anyone who fears their internal darkness serving me. I want those who celebrate and embody their darkness. Those are the vessels I want to inhabit. Like your late friend Riku."
" Don't talk about Riku like you know him."
" Was your brother from another mother really such a good friend he was leading you to lesser darkness possibly to be his slave or perhaps his food."
" Riku would never do that!"
" He embraced his darkness and wielded it as a weapon you saw that as he fought and killed Rock Lee didn't you?"
" Grr! Yes." - Sora said in a defeated tone.
"Heh. Let's not forget when he instructed you in the ways of The Shot Lock."
" You're.. ugh... right about that he did use darkness."
" So get in touch with your darkness otherwise you'll die here."
" No."
" To have survived so long and yet... you still learned nothing. Even your teammate Sasuke understood that darkness is the best weapon."
" He was never my team mate just a coworker and from what I remember he used fire magic that radiated light."
" You mean darkness imitating light. Sasuke's technique came from a cult that killed the innocent it was designed to feed an entity extremely inferior to even the weakest demon that inhabits this realm. And because of your sheer ignorance and incompetence before darkness I shall leave you to your doom."
Ansem vanished within a corridor of darkness.
" Darn you. (cough)."
Sora fainted back to unconsciousness.
Cut to Kabuto's position we see him running up a fortress wall surrounded by a lake of purple boiling liquid. Kabuto got to a high section he then slid a blue card into a hidden slot and he entered through a hidden door way eventually reaching a medical room there he unsealed the serpent-like ninja.
" Gasp! Huff-huff-huff! Please hurry and medicate me Kabuto." - Orochimaru demanded.
" Kabuto performed hand signs and used his Chakra to remove the stripes slightly regenerating Orochimaru's health."
" Orochimaru Navy-Stripe Fever can only be cured by drugs and time my jutsu will only restrain the sickness for about 2 days if you go through REM sleep the spell will deactivate 4 hours earlier for every period of rest and your symptoms will return."
" Damn that old monkey. What's the expected infection rate?" - The Pale Serpent inquired as he pounded his bed.
" You, me and that slave were the only persons in that room if the Rattlesnakes at the frontal section of the town were infected by that slave we'll probably have 435 villagers infected every hour if they're not killed by the enemy first."
Orochimaru got to his feet and gestured to Kabuto to dash to his throne room there a teenage boy with six arms, a boy wearing long-sleeved grey clothes equipped with a metallic gauntlet & a bandages positioned to look like a stereotypical ninja mask were awaiting orders.
" Glad to see you 2 are ready. Kin, Zaku come forth!" - Orochimaru commanded.
A black haired female ninja with a pale green vest over grey-snake patterned sleeveless clothes and a spiky-haired man in a beige shirt over clothes with the same patterns as the girl's.
" My Ninja of the Sound it's time to perform defense formation Y7. Quickly there's no time to lose."
" Yes Lord Orochimaru."
" So this is how the head Jonin of the Sound Village acts when backed to a corner." - Insulted a distant voice.
Within seconds Ansem entered Orochimaru's throne room using a Corridor of Darkness.
" Who is this fantasy reject Dosu?" - Zaku insulted while asking the bandaged ninja.
" He isn't a ninja but I suspect he might be dangerous if his presence brings Lord Orochimaru to anger."
" Usually our leader has this obviously wicked smile that's just so charming."
" Kin he's never going to give you an autograph ever since you forged documents in Vortex Village just so you could order a comic." - Dosu rebuked.
" It wasn't even a cool comic like Laser Moths: Wrath of The Steel Crystal." - Zaku mocked.
" Zaku that was a Doujinshi." -Dosu corrected.
" Be silent guys." - Kidomaru ordered.
" I gave you no approval to enter my village."
" Your forces are outclassed and outnumbered I can offer you power greater than the Nine-tailed Fox."
" If you had the power you claimed why am I not at least injured?"
" Because I want to form an alliance with you. Listen well Orochimaru The Hokage brought some of his heavy hitters just a few minutes ago I had to save your agent from Kakashi."
" There is no way you're that good." - Orochimaru dismissed.
" You don't have much ground to refuse me Orochimaru if you fight the Kage without my help they'll disintegrate you. You must become Darkness itself."
" Kabuto take care of this imbecile." - The Pale Serpent commanded.
Kabuto body flickers behind Ansem and grabs the cloaked man by the neck and he activates his chakra scalpel.
" Thanks for saving me back there."
Kabuto impales his hand into the cloak's face void.
" You're welcome. HAHAHAHAHA!"
Suddenly the darkness within Ansem's cloak engulfs Kabuto's arm.
" AHHHHHHHHH!"
" Open your heart to darkness become darkness itself!"
Kabuto's body was enveloped by an aura of darkness he then dashes at Orochimaru forcing the Pale Serpent to leap from his throne with all of his might as his student slashes his seat of authority.
" You're a fool Orochimaru for rejecting this power it's greater than anything your mad science can develop!" - Kabuto declared with wicked enthusiasm.
Kabuto projected a black sphere from his hands that encased Orochimaru within crystalized darkness.
" ( I can't move. I'm so cold.)"
" Such is the fate of those who reject supreme darkness. As for you four ready your defensive procedures or you'll get worse fates than Orochimaru." -Ansem threatened.
Orochimaru's minions leaped at Ansem like enraged tarantulas only for Ansem to counter their barbarous tactic by releasing various Strike Raid rings from his cloaked body that left the ninja in a pool of their own blood.
" Once again I offer you a chance to obey my commands."
" Drop dead!" -Kin retorted.
Ansem blasted Kin's skull with a Dark Firaga.
" Does anyone else care to protest my authority?"
" We pledge our loyalty to you Lord...?"- Declared Dosu.
" You may address me as Lord Ansem, , or Boss."
" I'll follow you to the ends of the Earth ." - Zaku declared.
" What about you Spider-boy?"
" I'll carry out your orders ." - Kidomaru pledged.
" ( I'll make sure those traitors suffer once I get out of this pathetic jutsu.)" - Orochimaru mentally declared.
" Perfect. Carry out your defensive procedures."
The Sound Ninja positioned themselves in a triangular formation each standing on an engraved floor pad they unleashed a synchronized jutsu.
" Three Violet Flames Formation!"
A triangular prism-shaped barrier composed of purple fire was constructed by the 3 Sound Ninja surrounding the fortress.
" Keep this barrier up otherwise you'll wish I killed you earlier." - He says as he leads Kabuto into the Corridor of Darkness.
Ansem and Kabuto warp to a cavern near the outskirts of the Sound Village there he conjures a crystal ball to observe the outside of the fortress and generates a mystical observation window to survey the throne room.
" You fools will soon advance me to lesser godhood." - Ansem declared.
On the outside of the fortress Hiruzen, Gai and the Clown-like ninja positioned their troops on the bridge leading to the facility.
" What do you make of this barrier Billy Chapelle?"
" It's obviously the Violet Flames formation though I've usually seen elemental barrier techniques use even numbers of 4 and above never odd numbers. I suspect a trap or internal disputes."
" Gai deactivate this obstacle."
" Yes Lord Hokage." - Gai acknowledged.
Gai drew a nunchaku and chanted strange words.
" Become the star that dooms souls to sleepless exhaustion hypnotize and gather. Hypnotize and Gather. Hypnotize and Gather. Hypnotize and Drain. Jiangshi Vortex!" - Gai chanted as he spun his flail like a plane's propeller as Ansem's recently subjugated underlings have their Chakra absorbed into his nunchaku.
Cutover to the fortress.
" What my Chakra it's being drained!" - Zaku complained.
" ( Zaku isn't joking I'll faint from exhaustion in less than 3 minutes if this keeps going on.)" - Dosu mentally lamented.
" If any of you gives up on maintaining this barrier I'll have my spiders devour you." - Threatened Kidomaru.
Cut back to the bridge.
" Everyone trained in the art of the Jiang Shi Vortex absorb the enemy's chakra!" - Hiruzen commanded.
The Chakra was drained at an even faster rate as twentyfive ninja join Gai in the absorption process and within less than a minute the violet fire themed barrier deactivated as Ansem's recruits fell to unconsciousness.
" Ninja of the Leaf you may fire when ready."
Gai and the other absorbers held their nunchaku like loaded rifles and fired a series of blue chakra beams at the fortress wall smashing a hole into the facility.
" Those under Billy's leadership head into the fortress those under Gai guard this facility from enemy reinforcements."
" Yes Lord Hokage." -The Leaf Ninja answered in unison.
Hiruzen and Billy's squad ran into the damaged fortress and slaughter low-level security ninja with their superior numbers. Eventually they reach the throne room where a restrained Orochimaru stands before them.
" What the hell? Orochimaru is encased in black crystal." - Billy said in a surprised tone.
" It seems he was betrayed or possibly ambushed by another enemy keep your guard up." - The Hokage commanded as he surrounded his right hand with a claw-shaped energy field he then slashed his energized hand upon the encased serpent only to barely damage the construct. Hiruzen observed his hand and notices residual black shards under his finger nails.
" ( I barely scratched this structure based on it's smell and moist texture it seems to be ice but mixed with darkness.)"
Cutover to Ansem's position we see him raise his sleeved arms causing the shards to seep into the Hokage's hands.
" AHHHHHH!" - Hiruzen screamed as his body surged with purple electricity.
" Lord Hokage!" - A subordinate Chunin yelled.
" Keep your guard up and focus on the battle."
Hiruzen extended his demonic aura around his other hand and increased the width, length and volume of his aura he then slammed is energy claws upon the frozen Orochimaru shattering the ice knocking Orochimaru down.
" Ahhgh!"
" You must have pissed someone off pretty good Orochimaru to have been gift wrapped for your execution. Attack my ninja!"
Orochimaru threw a smoke pellet and dashed away from his former sensei only to get assaulted by Billy and his subordinates with taijutsu combinations but Orochimaru blocked competently and attacked with 8 punches of his own, a roundhouse kick and ended his responsive violence with an elbow strike that knocked a line of 15 Leaf Ninja. He then cut his hand and performed a sequence of hand signs to summon a blue & green striped rattlesnake of average size.
" How's it going Orochi-dude?" - The demonic snake inquired.
" Marakasu bring my enemies great confusion."
" You got it my fellow serpent."
The familiar spirit rattled it's tail and caused every enemy ninja to see each other as Orochimaru.
" Rooooh!" - Every ninja simultaneously roared like lions.
" ( My speech it's been distorted.)" - The Hokage complained.
Driven to fear and madness the Leaf Ninja attacked each other with weapons to the point of killing each other granting Orochimaru the chance to sneak off to a higher floor he then seals off the entrance to the throne room by pulling a lever he then presses a white button with a skull symbol.
" ( Hope those fools like some carbon monoxide.)"
Cut back to the throne room Hiruzen blocks an attack from one of his subordinates and he takes him out with a rotating windmill kick to the skull.
" Roooooh!"
" Hugggh!?" I feel a little weird. I see some kind of distortion in the air." - He says as his irises turned red.
" ROOOOH!" - A hypnotized ninja roared as they tried to horizontally slash Hiruzen with a Naginata.
Hiruzen intercepted the blade with his right arm and skull bashed his underling to unconsciousness.
" Crap that snake is trying to gas us with Carbon Monoxide." - Hiruzen commented.
Hiruzen opened his mouth and concentrated his chakra into a singular sphere and blasted a hole through the ceiling leading to the top floor above Hiruzen leaped upward and chased after Orochimaru eventually in an attempt to gain some momentum Orochimaru kicks off of a wall leaping towards Hiruzen the 2 ninja entered a trade war using rapid punches, kicks and claw swipes.
" Pathetic your taijutsu never used to be this soft."
Hiruzen threw a hard right but Orochimaru blocked and swiftly blasted his foe with a centrifugal aerial side kick to the chest sending Hiruzen to the floor.
" GOFF!"
" Surprise is the essence of the ninja. Cough! (3x)" - Orochimaru retorted.
" Cover your fucking mouth I don't want to catch your sickness." - Hiruzen mocked as he recovered to his feet.
Orochimaru and Hiruzen smiled as they prepared to escalate/conclude the battle with stratagems.
" (Carbon Monoxide is combustible in an enclosed room I'll burn this traitor with an old favorite.)" - Hiruzen mentally strategized.
Orochimaru drew a wakizashi and dashed as Hiruzen rapidly performed a sequence of hand signs and summoned a clone made of orange fire that instantly self-destructed doing massive damage to Orochimaru as well as the very walls and roof of the top floor.
" GAAAAH!"
" Let that be a lesson to you my former student."
Suddenly purple electricity surged over Hiruzen's body.
" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Hiruzen's eyes rapidly shifted between his normal and his possessed states.
" What's happening to me? Nothing but your painful exit old man. No Nine-tailed Fox you are mine to control. No Hiruzen you are my mine to consume." - He said as his voice shifts between dualistic and singular.
Eventually Hiruzen vomited a stream of black energy with an orange radiance upon the floor.
" NAAAAAAH!"
The energy forms into a human-sized Kyubi filled with hatred and fury.
" Uhhhhhuhuhuh!" - Hiruzen said in a slurred state.
" As I said Hiruzen you are mine to consume. VROOOH!" - The Kyubi roared and opened it's mouth.
Within seconds the Kyubi rapidly absorbed the Hokage's life force from his body, mind, and spirit. Havin lost every single ounce of life force the Old assassin fell upon the floor as a pile of grey ash.
" Thanks for the resources old man I'll enjoy taking advantage of them."
The Kyubi shape shifted into Hiruzen and stood before Orochimaru.
" I'm sorry that your old sensei was too rough with you but I see you're a reasonable ninja and I offer you an era of peace and healing since I'm free of that decrepit old murderer." - He says offering a handshake.
Orochimaru stares angrily at the Kyubi. When suddenly a dark firaga sphere is projected at the fake Hokage's back forcing him to evade by jumping while Orochimaru swiftly contorts his torso like a snake and weaves to his left avoiding the projectile. Before the 2 villains stood the Seeker of Darkness and his Silver-haired mind-slave.
Yellow eyes glowed within the face void of Ansem's cloak and Kabuto dashed toward the fallen Orochimaru and he slashed his former master with his Chakra Scalpel while Ansem projected a stream of Strike Raid Rings forcing the Kyubi to dodge and dash towards the Cloaked figure to slash at Ansem who blocks with an energy barrier.
" Get a hold of yourself Kabuto!"
" I have been awakened by the darkness you merely taught me how to hide in it but to become darkness itself is to become superior to any ninja."
" (Kabuto's reason has been overtaken I may have no choice but to destroy him.)" - Orochimaru thought.
Kabuto thrusted his right hand at Orochimaru but he slithered out of the way and restrained his former hypnotized student like a boa constrictor.
" HRAAAAH!" - Kabuto screamed.
As the Kyubi weakens Ansem's barrier with his energy claws to the point of deactivation he thrusts his right claw at Ansem who intercepts his arm with a hand made of solid darkness.
" NOW YOU'RE MINE!"
Ansem projects his body of darkness from his face void like a jet of onyx fire into the Kyubi's body.
" NOOOOOOO!"
Ansem's cloak fell to the floor as his entire being flowed into the Kyubi.
" AHHHHHH!"
The Kyubi's body rapidly shifted between the appearances of Hiruzen, it's true form, and a black humanoid fox with yellow eyes as pain coursed through his demonic structure.
" NAAAAAAH!"
" SUBMIT!"
" NEVERRRRRR!" - The Kyubi yellled as he shape-shifted against his will.
Eventually Ansem over-powered the demonic fox and the black humanoid fox cemented itself as the dominant form.
" Hahaha! Once again Darkness overwhelms those that stand in it's way." - Annsem boasted.
Cut over to Orochimaru's position we see him squeeze Kabuto only to see him turn into a substitution log that cracks into shards of wood. Orochimaru performs a sequence of hand signs and prepares to unleash a jutsu only to have his arms bound by Kabuto who flip-kicks the Pale Serpent to the floor but he swiftly recover only to get clawed 4 times and impaled by Kabuto's energized hands.
" GAAHGH!"
" AGH! Orochimaru you have to stop... Ansem before he floods... the world in darkness." - Kabuto said struggling to regain his free will.
" Hahahahahaha! Ah Kabuto... Always the slow learner I've come to the realization that Ansem reached the finish line to ultimate knowledge first I just have to accept that and offer my servitude."
" Well let's test this new found loyalty because I don't believe it for a second you didn't even attempt to speak in a respectful tone."
" Forgive me Lord Ansem." - Orochimaru begs bowing to Ansem like a pharaoh.
Ansem hurled a Dark Firaga ball at Orochimaru.
" Have I angered you Lord Ansem? Ugh."
" Yes, but that was the 1st test of loyalty if you're unwilling to endure my abuse with respect you deserve death. Now rise."
Orochimaru obeyed.
" Good absolute obedience in basic commands. Now for something far more devastating. Orochimaru I want you to kill Kabuto with this sword."
Ansem conjures a Soul Eater Sword and teleports it to Orochimaru's hands.
" ( Reveal your true character serpent and you'll suffer. Submit to me and you'll get to live till I exhaust you.)" - Ansem thought.
" ( Victory shall be mine.)" - Orochimaru thought.
Orochimaru subtly generates a field of chakra and slashes Kabuo's throat.
" GAAAAHGH!"
Suddenly the decorative eye on the Soul Eater's hilt changed from blue to violet and exploded with the force of a grenade blasting the 2 ninja with dark energy.
" You were given clear instructions dust gobbler to kill with that sword not your worthless chakra."
Orochimaru grabs a dog whistle at a swift speed and performs a sequence of hand signs as Ansem waves his left hand and unleashed a straight line of 5 strike-raid rings but Orochimaru caused a miniature tornado of purple chakra to deflect the attack right back at his foe. Orochimaru stood up and swiftly blew the whistle causing the chakra-tornado to travel in to the whistle and project as a thin beam that struck Ansem's body causing him continuous pain.
" What did you do dust gobbler?"
" ( A defensive jutsu that extracts the users chakra to form a spinning barrier combined with a musical instrument I can use it to tribute and strengthen spiritual life forms. And if I know demons like me they are drawn to the allure of unearned power and worship.)" - Orochimaru mentally explained.
Suddenly the eyes turned red and the Kyubi regained control of his body as Ansem's soul compacted into sphere still sealed within his host and the Fox-demon shape-shifted back into Hiruzen.
" Huff-huff-huff!" -The Kyubi stared angrily at Orochimaru as the snake-themed ninja grew tired.
" ( Crap I'm almost out of of chakra.)"
" You offered me your Chakra to weaken Ansem's control I offer you one last chance for peace."
" What are your terms?"
" That you call me master and never attack the Leaf Village unless I order it."
" Puhahaha! Get wrecked."
The Kyubi dashed at Orochimaru, grabbed him and punched his skull with a fist surrounded by an orange, drilling aura leaving the Pale Serpent with a hollowed out skull as Kabuto watches in silent despair as he faints.
" Thanks for the chakra Orochimaru."
The Kyubi went down stairs to see the Leaf Ninja who were now emancipated from Orochimmaru's genjutsu and they followed him to observe Orochimaru's body they then left and returned to the Leaf Village recovering their injured and dead along with Orochimaru's body. The next day The Kyubi consumes green grapes in his stolen office only to see Ansem staring at him in the mirror.
" What the?"
" Don't think you can escape my control Nine-Tailed Fox you'll grow tired eventually and that's when world-conquering darkness will consume you."
" Be Silent!"
" HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
" Shut up!"
" HAHAHAHAHA!"
The Kyubi punched the mirror as Ansem imitated his action causing him to get knocked on his back.
" This is but a brief sample of the horrors I've prepared for you. You will be domesticated by my might dog."
Meanwhile Sora and Kabuto recover in hospital rooms at their respective villages. Kabuto is still while Sora reflexively reaches for the sky with his right hand.
