Chapter 1: Reunion

"Greetings to all, family and friends. Today we meet in mourning. We are here to say goodbye to Zoey Brooks and her beloved husband Miles Brooks. We regret the fact that they left us so soon and in such a tragic way. However, they will still live in our hearts and memories. As long as we remember them fondly, they will never really die. Those words were heard on a cloudy day at BubbleTucky Cemetery. The words came from a lobster in a smart suit. All the others wore black mourning suits or dresses. Most were adult or young guppies. There were few beings of other species. But at this point we will look at two people. A woman with curly purple hair and a girl with the same characteristics. They were both near the two coffins.

"snif….Mommy!...Daddy!...snif….Don't leave me!" It was about an 8-year-old girl named Zooli. She knelt in front of both coffins. She didn't want to let them go. Although she knew that they could no longer do or feel anything. The woman was Khloe, Zoey's sister. She took Zooli away from the coffins a little. In this way, they began with the funeral of Zooli's parents. Most of everyone present was crying or sobbing. Khloe hugged Zooli comforting her, but that didn't stop her from shedding tears. After all, they were burying her sister.

After the funeral, almost everyone left the cemetery with hurting hearts. The only people who stayed the longest are Zooli and her aunt.

"Zooli….We're going home" Khloe said.

"No. How will I go home without my parents? Who is going to take care of me? I am alone in this world" Zooli said sobbing.

It was impossible. Her parents are alive. Zooli couldn't hold the urge to cry and ran up to them and hugged them tightly. She cried like never before. Her parents only received her hug and consoled her.

"Mom! Dad! You REALLY are here!" Zooli was sobbing.

"Sure you do, darling. Why you ask?" Her mom asked.

"It's that ... you ... it's impossible. You died in a traffic accident. I saw how they buried you" Zooli was confused and crying.

"But ... what do you say, Zooli? Have you had a nightmare?" Her dad asked.

"Wait….this is a dream. It´s the only explanation" She said that as she took a glass of water and poured it on her own face.

"Zooli, calm down. This is real. Tell me what happens?" Zoey asked hugging her. Zooli explained what she remembered. About them having died and she was living with her aunt. Both parents were confused.

"I see you have nightmares about that day. What really happened is that we suffered a traffic accident as you remember. But we only spent a few days in the hospital and we came back. You surprise me that in all these years you don't remember" Mr. Brooks explained.

"So ... all this time ... it was a nightmare. I can't believe it. It felt very real" Zooli was shocked.

"My love…..The only thing we know is real is our love for you" Her mom commented.

"Well, let's stop being so sad. Today is your special day, your birthday" Her dad said with a smile.

"You´re right. By the way, where is my aunt?" Zooli asked.

"Oh….She told me that she would come until the afternoon" Zoey answered.

"(So...she doesn't live with me anymore)" She thought.

"Maybe you should feed your pets" Her mom advised her.

"Right! On my way!" Zooli was very happy and went to feed her pets.

There were her beloved animals: Izzy the frog, her cat Mr. Scallywag and finally her beloved dog Coco. But from now on, things would only start to get weird.

"Hi, Coco. Where are your puppies?" Zooli asked happily.

"Arf?" She looked confused.

"Your puppies?"

"Arf Arf?"

"How do you have no puppies? They are your children with Bubble Doggy" Zooli was surprised. Coco didn't understand her.

After that strange conversation, she got ready to go out to see her friends.

Bye, Mom! Goodbye dad! I will see my friends" She said happily.

"Your friends? Which friends?" Her mom asked curiously.

"My best friends….The Bubble Guppies!" She said excitedly. But both of them were confused.

"Bubble….what?" Miles asked.

"Is it a musical band that you listen to?" Zoey added.

"Well...they have musical talent but….they are my friends" Zooli said.

"They don't sound familiar to me. You never told us about them until now" Zooli´s mom analyzed.

"Do any of these names sound familiar to you? Molly? Gil? Goby? Deema? Oona? Nonny? ... Urchin?" Zooli asked a little worried. They didn't know any of them "Ok ... I'll go find them and you will meet them"

So, filled with confusion, she decides to start her search. She checked her cell phone and noticed something weirder. She didn't have the numbers kept from them. And worst of all, there was no picture of her with the Bubble Guppies. What was happening?
