Writer's notes: Turn away if you want major conflicts or character bashing. Sorry, but this story will have none of that.

This tale will be a comedy and contain some light drama. A slice of life story told from another perspective.

Some authors have written stories about 'what-if' Keitaro had had a twin brother. Well, I decided to go a step further as I wanted to see how it would be if he was the eldest of three identical triplet brothers, and they all had different personalities.

With that stated, I am going to make Kanako their real sister and have Keitaro deal with that issue.

I also am writing this as an anti-bashing story to show that everyone needs love no matter who it is. Please read and discover why…

I am using Japanese moral standards and not western ones. So, in this story, Sarah is old enough to marry Keitaro.

Nothing gets borrowed from the anime series.

-Dramatis Personæ-

The major players are listed below and others will be added throughout the story.

-Urashima Keitaro, Keisuke and Keita-24, recent grads of Tokyo University Graduate schools: Keitaro has his master's degree in Cultural Studies; Keisuke obtained a post-graduate degree in Music, and Keita's was in Business and Finance.

Keitaro is working on his doctorate and is a teaching assistant at Tokyo U underneath Seta Noriyasu, his cousin Haruka's boyfriend and Sarah's adopted father.

Keisuke taught both Music and Martial Arts.

Keita managed the Clan affairs, as he put his business acumen to use and had turned the Urashima back into a formidably wealthy family it once more. With his younger sister Kanako's invaluable assistance, of course.

The trio also was gifted with both Ki and Chi radiating from inside them in abundance, which made all three very adept with weapons and/or in hand-to-hand fighting. They have both of these traits which is extremely rare in Martial Artist's.

The brothers also have many differences, as none of the three are alike except for their loyalty to each other.

-Konno Mitsune 'Kitsune'-23, successful columnist and Keitaro's girlfriend, she is very protective of her boyfriend and gets after anyone if they get out-of-line with him. The younger residents look up to her. She has a yuri relationship with Shinobu, Kaolla and Sarah. Has begun to date Sarah more lately.

-Otohime Mutsumi-24, also a grad of Tokyo U as she was in the Nursing Program. She has known the triplets since they were young. She had been in love with both Keitaro and Naru, but has since fallen for Kanako.

-Urashima Kanako-19, the real younger sister of the triplets. The three brothers are very protective of her even though she is better at martial arts than Keisuke and had graduated at the same time as Keita. She is very close to her brothers, especially Keitaro, and acts as the main office manager. Involved a very secret relationship with her eldest brother which has gone on since she was 15. (Neither of them had any regrets.)

-Narusegawa Naru-21, fourth year Tokyo U undergrad. She is very beautiful and was at one time the object of Keitaro's affections after he and his brothers had first moved in four years before. When confessed to by Keitaro, Naru told him that she was not interested in dating men. Everyone would soon find out why.

-Motoko Aoyama-19, a second year Tokyo U student in the school of letters and is the heir apparent of the Shinmeiryu School of Swordsmanship in Kyoto. Blind-sided by Keisuke, Motoko fell very hard for him at first sight. They share a room together and are very passionate with each other. The two worship the ground that each other walks upon as she sometimes acts as his bodyguard even though he does not need one. Good friends with Kanako.

-Kaolla Su-18, blonde, dark-skinned Princess from the rich and powerful Kingdom of MolMol. She is one semester away from getting her Doctoral Degree in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering from Tokyo U. She loves Keitaro very much and has been known to sneak into his bed even with Kitsune and Shinobu there. Has also gone after Shinobu and Sarah as well.

-Maehara Shinobu-18, first year U student and is very close to Kitsune, who sees her as a younger sister and sometimes lover. That said, the petite chef as she is known, is very happy that Kitsune lets her share Keitaro as the three have a room together. Also like the Fox Lady, she is very protective of Keitaro. She and Kaolla have been known to quietly sneak off at night for some fun of their own.

-Sarah MacDougal-17, this high school second year, has blossomed from a bratty, jealous little girl into a beautiful teenager. With a very hot body and large breasts, she is now just a couple of centimeters shorter than Motoko. As with certain other residents of the Hinata, she too loves Keitaro very much. Has had trysts with both Kitsune and Kanako.

Hiatani and Shirai also make appearances, but not as the 'Baka Duo'. The two have stopped chasing women and now act like adults. Since then, good things have been happening in their lives.

Other characters will make their way into the story as time goes on.

The beginning of this chapter is purposefully out of order mainly to present characters and some of the story plot. It settles down quite quickly into the main story once we get past the introductions.

-Chapter 1-

Since Urashima Keitaro was eldest of the Urashima triplets, he along with his brothers, Keisuke and Keita, had come to the Hinata to claim his inheritance from their grandmother. The younger two had never questioned the decision to give Keitaro the Hinata, since he was the eldest of the three. If only by two minutes over Keisuke.

"Can't bitch over it," said the middle brother who smiled.

"That would be a huge waste of time," chimed in the youngest triplet as he quietly nodded.

"You three are scary sometimes," commented Kanako on how her brothers never seemed to fight with each other, "It's not normal for you three to always get along."

Keitaro laughed as he understood his sister's concern.

Basically, the triplets were almost inseparable either at home or here at the Hinata. To a fault, they were extremely loyal and had always looked out for each other. Even though they were identical, you could still tell the difference between them: Keitaro wore glasses and smiled a lot; Keisuke had a lean muscular build and often wore a Hakama; and Keita was usually very quiet and was clad only in expensively-tailored clothing.

Kanako was always with them, and kept the three on a very tight schedule. Two with eidetic memories and two of above average intelligence made for some interesting discussions.

Together, they came to the Hinata with high expectations. But what the three found along with their sister was something which their grandmother had not let them in on: First, that she had converted the Inn into an All-Girls Dormitory; two, the place was falling apart; and three, Granny was trying to marry the boys off to some of the residents who lived at the old place. Two out of the three brothers did find someone as Keitaro found out that Mitsune Konno fell for him at first glance and that after many a false start, Keisuke got under Motoko Aoyama's skin so much that she had forgotten that she hated men and could not stand to be separated from him for very long. Keita had a girlfriend who he had met in high school. She too went Tokyo University and had lived near the school.

Since the Hinata was to be their home, the trio plus one got right to work.

The Hinata had its old Ryokan façade stripped away by a construction company hired by Kanako at Keitaro's behest. An old family friend was brought in as an architect, as he was acquainted with Haruka from their days at Toudai. Since the clan was wealthy, Keita set out the budget and self-financing for the project.

But that was only where their project began…

Also, Keitaro had a road constructed up to the back of the Hinata. That, along with a paved parking lot and large enclosed multi-car garage for all of their vehicles. There would be no more climbing up those damnable front steps if you did not want to.

"I hated those fucking steps," commented Keitaro right after the first time he had driven up the back way.

"You always did, Nii-san," snickered Keisuke who usually enjoyed climbing them two at a time.

"We have the option now," said Keita in a quiet tone. His two older brothers nodded with him.

"You three are weird," added Kanako who had organized all of the appropriate paperwork and then sent it off to the proper Prefecture offices.

However, that was only the beginning of what they did to the old place.

There was quite a long list on the changes they had made: First, Kanako had organized the female residents move to temporary quarters at the beach mansion; second, they turned the old, partially collapsed Annex A into executive offices with large suites on both sides of the hallway. Being the elder brother, Keitaro was fully ensconced in the largest office at the end of the hallway. Kanako had her desk in there as well; third, the old Noh theater was torn down and in its place the brothers had installed a large pool/bar/workout facility with an attached locker room and large balcony along the whole rear exterior of the now Urashima Manse (made both Keisuke, Keita and Kanako very happy); fourth, a crew came in and gutted out the old banquet halls. A large new kitchen/dining room replaced it (which made Shinobu happy); fifth, the unused rooms were opened and modernized in both wings of the Hinata for any future residents. In addition, there included: new laundry room with modern appliances and a family room with a huge wall-mounted TV and large anime collection; sixth, the Old Annex B was demolished, and in its place, a new house for Haruka and Noriyasu for after they were married; and lastly, Haruka's Tea Shoppe was reconstructed, as the four siblings had the old one torn down and fully replaced. (Haruka was very happy about that.)

Consequently, Keitaro and Kanako stayed on the grounds in a large trailer outback while the construction went on. And yes, they did indeed indulge in each other. But enough of that…

If that was not bad enough, Kitsune, Shinobu and Sarah visited them quite a lot. That in of itself was very interesting…

During a summer break, Keita stayed with Motoko in Kyoto for two months. Her older sister Tsuruko had a constant smile on her face whenever she saw the two together. Tried to set up an Omiai as well…

As the most responsible, Keita and Nao stayed at the beach mansion to watch over the residents and enjoy themselves.

The reconstruction took about fifteen-months to accomplish and all had gone according to plan.

"Knock on wood," said Kitsune as Shinobu and Sarah giggled.

-Present day-

When the residents finally came home to the Hinata, the dilapidated old ryokan now looked totally different than it did before all the changes.

Everyone settled in to their newly refurbished home and immediately took advantage of the new facilities without complaint.

After a few days later, certain residents bitched about how much noise was made because everyone had sex the night before.

Next morning at the breakfast table, Naru's complaint was, "And you thought that my girlfriend and I were loud. Did you bunch of assholes all break your volume controls or something?"

Her girlfriend laughed herself silly.

Mitsune smiled at her and said, "I had my face buried somewhere or I would have screamed louder, sweetie." Sarah grinned and said nothing.

Next to her, Keitaro snickered as everyone heard, "me too." Shinobu blushed a deep crimson as she smiled as well.

"It got hot in our room," quipped Keisuke, "so Mo-chan and I had our balcony window open." Motoko looked askew at her lover and turned bright red.

Kanako, like Keita, gave her brother a bemused stare.

By then, Kaori was on the floor laughing.

"You really are a twat," said a red-faced Naru who turned to Mitsune before looking around the room.

Mitsune nodded.

Getting back into her chair, Kaori said, "and I thought I had the potty mouth around here."

"Just pick the hair from your teeth next time," came the sarcastic response from Keita to the woman who had started that line of reasoning.

The room went silent as all eyes fell upon Keita. You could have heard a pin drop.

Before everyone else started in, Kanako began to laugh.

"Oh Bullshit, Keita-nii!" hollered Naru, "You just get that from your fucking Onii-chan."

Keitaro and Keita then looked at each other.

They smiled.

Turning towards Naru, both nodded and said, "You're right." (In stereo)

Once again, the dining room went silent before it exploded in laughter.

Kanako and Kaolla were on the floor this time.

"Stop, my lungs are hurting too much," screeched Sarah who had laughed herself silly.

Even though she was the target, Naru was the one who laughed the hardest.

"Damn," hissed Kaori afterwards, "she beat me to it." That was in reference to making the youngest Urashima triplet laugh his head off. (Kaori, and another cast member Sakura, will get their formal introductions in the next section)

The duo of Hiatani and Shirai finally grew up. They also surprised Urashima brothers with some interesting news. They had always hung around the Urashima brothers, who in turn also enjoyed them, as the two former twits usually made them laugh with their silliness. The two were also watched over by the brothers in case they went a little too far in their 'skirt chasing'. The three were relieved when the two had stopped being 'bakas'.

One, Hiatani had been accepted into Tokyo University, and was now a business major. When he graduated, Keitaro had promised him a property management position.

Shirai went to Sawa and took pre-med courses. There, he met a very beautiful rich young woman who fell for him at first sight.

The din around the Hinata-Sou had been constant since early summer and since the Hinata itself was finished, there were other projects to be started; the Annex B and its larger onsen were just about done; the new separate unattached dojo, outdoor shrine and enclosed flower/vegetable gardens would be completed by the next spring.

The three men and their sister had persevered in transforming the top of Hinata Hill into their home. So much so that it did not look like the same place as when they had first arrived.

Keita and Kanako were the ones who had always kept all of the building projects to within a set budget, even though the Urashima had more than enough money to burn. Neither were tight-fisted on anything, but Keita just hated wasting anything, especially money.

Granny Hina though, understood her grandson's concern. The Urashima matriarch just wanted the two highly-intelligent siblings to relax and enjoy their newly improved home.

Beside the existing residents coming back, there were also some new ones who had had also moved in.

Back in mid-March after finishing her grad work, Otohime Mutsumi was first resident to move back in after the rebuild was complete. Having the back road and hilltop driveway there helped when all of her things arrived home.

"I'm impressed," said the sunny Okinawan as she hugged each one of the brothers. It did not help that Mutsumi was very beautiful, had large breasts and pressed them into each one of them.

'Son-of-a-bitch,' the three thought simultaneously in need of some serious relief. Their women laughed as they too knew Mutsumi…

Before the summer break ended, the Hinata was pretty much filled as everyone was now home. Although no longer a Ryokan or a woman's dorm, Keitaro was not above accepting new boarders into his spacious home.

Having shown all the women around the refurbished property, it seemed that they all loved what was done.

Be that as it may…

One of the newer tenants was Hasegawa Sakura. At age seventeen, she was third-year high school student. Since moving in, Sakura swiftly became an erstwhile sparring partner for the three brothers and Motoko.

Petite, slender and very graceful, she was sought after by everyone for self-defense lessons. With her knowledge of holds and pressure points, it made her a top practitioner in her own families' martial arts. That knowledge came to the surprise of train perverts and school bullies, as those two groups usually found themselves either with ripped out joints or unable to move all together.

It also supplemented what the brothers and Kanako had taught the residents.

When not dressed in her school uniform, Sakura loved to wear traditional Kimonos or Yukatas. In addition, she was very friendly with all of the other residents as her smile was just as infectious as Mutsumi's.

Sakura took residence in Mitsune's old room, since the former occupant now shared a room with Keitaro and Shinobu.

What a difference she made to it too. Almost the mirror image of Motoko's old room, the interior looked like a cross between a Shinto shrine and a dojo. Sakura just used her room to do homework in, meditate or sleep as she enjoyed spending her time around the others. Her walls were covered with rich tapestries, a shrine sat next to the balcony window and she placed a weapons' rack against the wall by the door.

In sparring with Keitaro and his brothers, she has honed her own skills to a Katanas' edge. Sakura believed that Keitaro was the most adept martial artist that she had ever trained with. Though Keisuke had his opinion about that since his brother cared nothing about forms, or was a bit jealous as Keitaro was tough to knockdown.

In becoming close friends with Motoko, she has also given her taller Senpai another Kendo training partner. It also has helped the Kendoka fit in more, since both dressed traditional Yamato Nadeshiko most of the time.

She also has a slightly older fiancé that she practically worshipped.
